Apple Bloom is very nearly an adult, and despite being the proud beholder of a cutie mark in carpentry, she has no idea how to proceed with her life. Uncertainty and anxiety has led her to practicing hedonism, spending her days doing nothing but eating overly decadent food, smoking clover, and sleeping around.

Her wake-up call comes in the form of a forced trip to the beach, where she finds herself spending time with several soldiers of Celestia's royal guard. She encounters an old pen pal of hers, a bull named Creed, and decides that nothing is going to stop her from enjoying his company.
