//-------------------------------------------------------// The Alicorn Curse -by Clover The Clever- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Meeting (Prologue) //-------------------------------------------------------// The Meeting (Prologue) Trixie stomped through the puddles in the dark cave. She didn't understand why of all places a dark, dirty, damp and dangerous place like this was good for a meet up.  She'd been wandering for what must of been hours with no hope of finding her new comrade. "Who is it?!" Trixie froze. Was this who she was meeting? There was only one way to find out. "It is the Great, and POWERFULL Trixie!" she replied, so loud that it echoed throughout the caverns of the caves. A unicorn emmerged the shadows, smiling. "Trixie. Brilliant, so I suppose you have the ingredients?" "Of course." Trixie replied, fetching a few things from her saddlebag, presenting them to the unicorn, "The GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie is always reliable when it comes to Twilight Sparkle!" She spat out the princess' name like it was an unwanted fly. "Let's start." Trixie let out a worried laugh, "Well, umm, ha... Are you sure we should start right away? I mean, this is dark-" "I am aware of that. It's worth it." the unicorn replied. Trixie nodded and handed her an amulet. "This better work," she warned the fellow unicorn, "It was quite hard for me to retrieve this. Of course, nothing the GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE couldn't handle!" The unicorn just raised her eyebrows and carried on. "Next." Trixie rolled her eyes and passed the unicorn a book. "'Daring Do and the Saphire Stone.' Hmm, a good read that one." The unicorn tossed it behind her, next to the amulet. She looked at the next items, two different shoes, and frowned. "How'd you get these?" "Somepony left it" "I believe that." Trixie handed the unicorn the last item, a flower. The unicorn smiled. "The Alicorn Amulet, and possessions from all four princesses." they recited. "You have done well." Trixie rolled her eyes at the limited praise. "What now?" "Simple," the unicorn replied, "We need about 20 or more ponies, the more, the better. We can find them in the neighbouring town." //-------------------------------------------------------// Day Out //-------------------------------------------------------// Day Out Luna skipped along the floors of Canterlot Castle. She was in a good mood, and nothing could get her down today! She knocked on Celestia's door. "Tia?" she called, knocking again. "I'm coming!" the sister replied. The door opened to Celestia's room. "Tia, have you seen my left fore-shoe?" Luna inquired. "No, I haven't seen mine either. It's quite peculiar." Celestia replied. Luna blinked in confusion, but shaked the thought out her head. "Nevermind then. We musn't miss the train! It will arrive at the station soon!" Celestia nodded in agreement and set off to the station with her sister. After jumping off the train, which they nearly missed due to being distracted by ice cream, the two alicorns entered Ponyville, smiling at all the ponies. They approached a large castle which housed Celestia's former student, Twilight Sparkle. And that was just who jumped out to meet their fellow princesses, along with Princess Cadance. The four princesses had planned a day out, visiting all the various tourist attractions and monuments. They set off, sharing recent events and happenings in their lives and sharing thoughts. It was going perfectly. Perfect wasn't in Twilight Sparkle's dictionary. "And I told the shopkeeper-" A royal guard ran to the princesses, obviously in fear. The princesses tilted their heads, as if to ask the guard what he wanted to tell them. "Your majesties," the guard began, "We have detected large amounts of magical power coming from different locations in Equestria." "...and?" Princess Cadance prompted. "They all seem to be travelling towards you."
