Blind Eyes

"MOM!DAD! GET UP! ITS TIME FOR SCHOOL! Emerald shouted as she tried to wake up her parents,who were still in bed.Emerald was a Purple unicorn filly with a white mane that had different streaks of blue going through it.

"Five more....minuets.." grumbled Fancypants,Emeralds Dad.

"What's going on in here?" Prim Diamond,Emeralds Sister said,walking in.

"Yeah,what's going on? Peridot,Emeralds brother said,walking in.Prim Diamond was a white filly with a Purple mane,(like her mother) which was done in beautiful,bouncy curls. Her cutie mark was one big blue Amethyst. She was two years older than both Emerald and Peridot. Peridot,on the other hand,was a light green unicorn colt with a orange mane. His cutie mark was a Game control,for he loved nothing more than to play his game. Even though you would see playing his game most of the time,he was always ready to learn.

"I'm trying to wake mom up! Can you guys help me?" Emerald asked,desperate to get her parents up.

"Ok....wait! I have an Idea! Let's jus go to aunt Sweetie Bell and Uncle Rumbles room and let them take us to school!" Peridot suggested,about to run of when Prim grabbed his tail.

"No,I have a  better idea." Prim said.

"Well,you better make it quick. School starts in a few." Emerald said.

"Oh,it'll be quick if we hurry and start now."

"Get up,Copper! It's time for school!" Spike said,shaking his son.

"Hmm...but the covers...so...warm..." Copper said,pulling the covers over his head.

"Honey,let me handle this,Applejack said walking into the room with her daughter,Horseshoe.Horseshoe was a orange filly with a brown mane that had strings of red braided into one big braid on the side.She also had a big pink bow on the top.Applejack leaned over her son and shouted,"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD!!!".

"Geez,mom,you didn't have to yell that loud...." Copper said,hopping out his bed,heading to the bathroom.

"You always do the best work,my love." Spike said,heading down the stairs.

Meanwhile,in the bathroom,Copper took a shower.Copper had the same body and mane color as his sister,but instead of a braid and a bow,his hair was let loose and her had a hat on his head.( Applejack had gave it to him). Coppers cutie mark was a copper colored Apple. He and his sister were the same age.When Copper was done showering and getting dressed,he headed down the stairs where he could smell the smell of fresh baked cinnamon Apple pancakes being cooked.

"Mom,your cooking sure does smell good." Copper commented,taking a seat at the table.

"Eyup." Big Mac said,heading to the kitchen table.

"Ya darn toot'n!!" Granny Smith said,Apple Blooms daughter,Zap Apple,following her.

"Thanks,y'all" Applejack said,blushing.

"Will we all get pancakes?,Grandma? Zap said.Zap was a yellow filly with orange hair.She was the youngest at he age of 3.As Applejack set the food on the table,she shouted," Soups on!,everypony,and...dragon?!"

"Ugh.." Rarity moaned as she sat up in bed."What time is it?". Just as she was about to look at the time,she smelled something wounderful.

"Mmm...What's that smell?" Fancypants said,rubbing his eyes.

"Let's go find out" Rarity said as she got out of bed.As she and Fancy came to the bottom of the stairs,all three of their children shouted,"SURPRISE!"

"Oh my goodness! What is this?!" Rarity said,smiling while walking over to hug her children.

"Well..I tried to wake you up this morning,but you wouldn't get up.So Prim suggested that we would get ready for school to surprise you!" Emerald explained excitedly.

"School...SCHOOL??!!! Oh my goodness!,I almost forgot. Come on,honey,we need to get ready." Rarity said,dragging Fancypants up the stairs.

After breakfast....

"Have a good day at school!" Rarity said one final time as she and Fancypants left the school house.They had just dropped Emerald and Peridot of at school.As they left,the school bell rang.

"Aww..we were so late that I didnt get to make any friends.." Peridot whined.

"Well get to make friends later.Right now,let's just get in class and set up our school supplies." Emerald answered,heading into the classroom. As she got into the classroom,she noticed that their teacher,Mrs.Cheerlie (A.k.a. Coppers Aunt),had put the in specific places.All she had to do was find the desk that had her name tag on it.When she found it,she noticed that she was sitting next to a colt named Golden Platter.

"Hello" Emerald said,sitting next to the golden colored colt.

"Hello..." Golden said,blushing as he looked up from the book he was reading and at the filly."I'm Golden Platter." Golden Platter was a golden colored unicorn colt with a yellow colored mane.His cutie mark was a golden plate.He was the son of Diamond Tiara,but unlike his mother,he was kind and caring.

"I'm Emerald.." Emerald said,looking directly at him.They both stared into each other eyes.Emerald realized  that they were leaning forward to each other.

"Umm..well..I need to get my school supplies out.."

"I can help you,i-if you want?" Golden said.

"Thanks" Emerald said,levitating her backpack onto her desk.As she was about to get the supplies,her hoof touched his.

"Oops,heh,sorry.." Golden said.

"Don't b-" Emerald said until she was cut off by miss cheerlie.

"Good Morning,Class! I am you teacher,Mrs. Cheerlie! I am here to help you learn very important life skills this year. First off,I would like to know your names."

After everypony told Mrs.Cheerlie their names,it was already time for recess.As everypony excited,Golden asked Emerald to come with him by the tree so he could tell her something.

"Ok" Emerald replied.As she and he headed out,Golden said,"Well...what I wanted to tell you was that....I lo-....that I lo-.....you know what..I can't hold it in anymore. Emerald,when we touched hooves,I felt something inside of me.I realized that that feeling,Is love."He said,blushing while being relived that it came out.

"I felt it to...and I feel the same way."
