Chance, an angry French American whose job as a reporter builds up a heap of stress on a daily basis, writes about a portal he had discovered. This "portal" turns out to be a whole new world where talking horses rule the planet. As he lives in this world, he finds out that the horses mock his exquisite tastes in fine dining. But that wasn't all, as he finds one pony in particular, who not only keeps him on his heels while he tries to survive in a world beyond his measure, but loves him more than anyone he had ever met.

Hopefully he can stop being yelled at.
