The object and a poisoned land
Twilight Sparkle stood quietly on her balcony gazing out at the stars and space. She was wondering if there was anything out there, other than this world, but her trail of thought was interrupted when Fluttershy appered at her door.
“Ummm....Twilight you still up? I was wondering if you had any books on resting” She said.
Twilight yawned heavly.
“Can't sleep? I’ve been having that same problem. Spike said I should stare at the night sky."
“Oh wouldn’t you mind if I stayed,would you?” said Fluttershy.
“Sure, you don't have to ask" replied Twilight.
“Oh, it’s just, um, I wasn't sure if you were okay or not.” Said Fluttershy.
“You look troubled and very tired.” Fluttershy said, as she walked onto the balcony next to Twilight. “Are you... ummm...ok?".
Twilight sighed deeply. “No, I’ve haven’t got much sleep and when I do I just have nightmares about some monster.....hey, look at that!”
Twilight shouted as she pointed at the slow moving object. Fluttershy jumped.
“oh...where?” She yelled as she landed on the ground, shaking a little.
“Sorry fluttershy” Twlight said as she pointed to the object that she just saw. Spike, who was rudely awakened and a bit annoyed, walked on to the balcony and yawned. “What's with all the noise, can't I get some sleep once in awhile?”
“Sorry Spike, I forgot you were asleep, but now that you’re here come and have a look at this”. Spike sighed “Fine, what is it?”. “Look up there” Twilight pointed at the slow moving object moving in the distance. “Hm.. what do you think it is?" Twilight said. She looked puzzled. “I don't know, it's just probably a meteor” Mumbled Spike grumpily.
Spike let out a huge yawn and mumbled "I think I'm going back to bed. Can ya keep it down?”
And with that, Spike went off back to bed. Fluttershy shortly left and Twilight called it a night hoping to get some sleep.

Later that night, when Twilight was asleep, she had an unusual dream and heard a voice speaking to her. "Twlight...Twilight Sparkle, you and your friends must find the seven elements to open the gate for it is the last for equestra...you must find the first seal ather or wisdom then way to the....." but Twilight's dream came to a halt when Spike tried to wake her.
“Twilight ,Twilight wake up, come on Twilight this is important”.  Twilight woke with a start "wha...where?". "Take it easy Twilight it was just a dream", Twilight sighed ."I’m just sure it was trying to tell me something" . "That doesn’t matter right now" Spike said sharply.
Twilight had a puzzeled look "what do you mean?" . Spike hurried Twilight to the door ."You will see", he said. "I’m sure it's nothing to important, I know how you over react to things" said Twilight as she followed Spike,but when Twilight Sparkle opened the door, noting could of perepared her for she saw, she almost fainted ."W-what is that covering the earth and grass!?" Twilight asked Spike. Spike, who was still shaking at time, said "I don't know, i-it looks like some sort of dark purple corruption" twlight looked at him with worry.
"But where did it come from". "I don't know...it would seem that the tendrils are coming from a central point and are all across the sky",Spike pointed through a window.
The tendrils drifted in the sky, like sea-weed being pushed in the sea by the currents...for as time went on they got bigger and started to evolve into much more evil state.
Twilight stopped for a moment...and manged to gather her thoughts. "strange object heading into the distance… could be it linked?” . Spike shrugged “It must of just burned up, I don't think they are linked"
Twilight sighed "I hope you are right for all of our sakes" Just then, Spike received an urgent letter from Princess Celestia.  "Read it, Spike" Spike took a deep breath,
"Dear Twilight Sparkle, I’m sure ,by now, that you have seen the corruption that covers the land, and it won't stop until it corrupts the whole of Equestria's land, sky and sea. Please meet me at Canterlot Castle and take Fluttershy and Applejack with you, I will explain the rest later.
Twilight walked throw the door and headed off to meet their friends and Celestia. Little did Twilight sparkle and her freinds they realize what fate had instore for them, the trials they would have to overcome, the power they would have to wield and the evil they would have to face...
