A New (Equal) Order

Prelude — The Cave

Running. She kept on running. And running was the only thing Starlight did.

She was still running as fast as she could. Away from those who were able to foil her genius plan. Equality. That was the one thing Starlight used to brainwash ponies of the town she lived in order to create her own harmony. But however, she was stopped by a princess and her friends from another town called Ponyville.

Oh how she despised those ponies who tried to stop her, especially the princess. She wanted to have her and her friend’s cutie marks, but was too late to get them back.

Starlight couldn't take it anymore. She wanted revenge. She wanted justice. And, she wanted order of her own! And she just know when to plan her revenge. At the cave she was in…

Ever since Starlight took over, she created her own special place inside the cave. A place where she can make her magic more skillful. And she knows where she was going. After a whole day of running, she finally encountered a bright light. Once she went through it, she entered a giant stoned room with a round pool shining under the moon above.

“This is it.” She said with glee.

She then set her horn on the pool as a bright glow from her horn lighted up the pool. Then, the moon’s light shined upon the pool as a blast of energy went up into the sky, shining upon its glory. Possibly, ponies from all over Equestria, especially the town Starlight took over, could see the blast of magic and know about the new danger. But unfortunately, they weren’t able to see it once it disappeared.

When Starlight was done, she felt so powerful again. And thanks to her special place, she can finally use her new powers against those who betrayed her.

“Now then,” Starlight said bitterly while smiling. “It’s time to show those ponies into what equality really means.”

Starlight Glimmer then went out of the cave and shivered at the cold breeze at the mountain area. She knew that the mountainside could be this cold, and unfortunately, she didn’t had any winter wear at all. But she didn’t care as she braved through the mountains and finally made it to the town.

She noticed that the ponies were all sleeping and she know that this was the perfect time to continue her mission. She then went to the place where she used to keep all of the cutie marks, but however, they were taken back by the villagers of the town. And Starlight know that once she took over, there would be no way that it would never happen again.

Starlight then used her magic on the wall as she recreated the glass-stained wall in order to take away seal in the cutie marks. She then smiled grimly.

“Finally. At long last! I can finally get their cutie marks again! But, this time. It’s going to be really different…”

The next day was set into motion as the sun of Celestia’s slowly rises up into dawn. The ponies of the town woke up for a brand new day. They walked outside and greet each other, while being slowly watched by a familiar shadow. And, it was finally time to the plan to go into action.

“Citizens of this town!” A voice called out from the other side of the town.

The ponies turned to see somepony in a red cloth that covered her face. A mare walked up to the mysterious pony. “Oh hello there!” She said smiling. “We haven’t seen anypony like you before!”

The pony in cloak then chuckled. She then spoke in a mysterious voice. “Well then… I believe that you and your citizens aren’t…equal enough.”

A smile from the pony faded quickly as a flash of light turquoise magic zapped on her, making her scream in agony. When she fell down, she gasped that her cutie mark was replaced…as a black equal sign. Everypony screamed as the pony and the others tried to run away from the new intruder.

“Who is that?” a pony said.

“It’s Starlight Glimmer!” a stallion responded. “She came back to make us equal again!’

“But what about Cherry Blossom!? Is she okay!?”

They stopped to see the pony the Starlight attacked, when suddenly, the pony turned her head around to see them, with a creepy smile.

“Come join me, guys!” She said cheerfully. “And together, we can help our new ruler rise again!”

Everypony stopped what they were doing as they were in pure shock to what they just saw. One of their friends have been taken over, innocently. Starlight then appeared once she took off her hood and revealed herself.

“Listen up my future subjects! We will plan to rule all of Equestria this time around! And this time, all of you will obey me!” Starlight grinned as she powered up her horn.

“RUN!!” a stallion screamed.

Everypony in the village tried to flee, but suddenly, they were levitated by Starlight’s magic. Starlight smiled evilly as she taken all of the citizen’s cutie marks and teleported them back at the cave. When she was finally finished, everypony turned all grey as they made creepy smiles and turned to Starlight and bowed to her.

“We will worship you, master.” They all said, gracefully.

“Wonderful!” Starlight smiled. “Now then. It’s time that we finish business once and for all!” She then raised her hoof up. “My new subjects! Soon, we will find a way to take over this foolish world and turn it into our own equality! That way, everypony all over the world would appreciate us for our doings! And, we will have revenge on those who ruined my plans of taking over! And for now on, it anypony tries to stop us again, we won’t hesitate on forcing our order on them!”

She then zapped on the villagers and turned them into armored knights. “Now then, march my new warriors! And together we will spread equality throughout Equestria!!”

“YES MASTER!!” They all cheered.

The newly-formed army marched after Starlight as the pony smiled with glee.

“I’m coming for you, Princess Twilight Sparkle.”
