Memories
3. Help Me, Help You
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"...Scoots? Hey, you okay there, kiddo?"
The last thing Scootaloo remembered was...
Just the thought of Rainbow stripping in front of her and beckoning her to join her in the shower was almost enough to cause Scootaloo to pass out again. However, she managed to control herself and found the strength to nod before slowly opening her eyes...
...and nearly passed out once again.
Scootaloo found herself inside the massive shower area, on the floor. Well, almost. Having witnessed her friend collapse, Rainbow Dash rushed over to her fallen friend to make sure Scootaloo was okay, gently carrying her under the running water in case she had collapsed from dehydration. The young pegasus now found her head on Rainbow Dash's lap.
Rainbow Dash's naked lap.
'Oh sweet Celestia...' Scootaloo thought, her heart fluttering as she realized that Dash's bare pussy was just mere millimeters away. This was by far the closest Scootaloo had ever been to Rainbow Dash while the latter was naked, and the only way Scootaloo would ever be close was if they went all the way... if her dreams were ever one day fulfilled.
"Hey, you okay? You didn't hit your head, did you?" Rainbow asked.
"I'm great. I mean fine." Scootaloo said in an almost dreamlike state, still unable to believe how close she was to Dash.
"Okay, well, hold still a sec. Lemme look you over real quick." Rainbow offered, still worried that the strenuous day had taken its toll on Scootaloo. "Tell me if anything hurts."
Scootaloo nodded again and felt Rainbow Dash carefully inspecting her head and neck for any signs of injury. As gently as she could, Dash turned Scootaloo's head away from her body to look at the side of her head, gingerly stroking the side of her face as she did so.
'That feels so good.' Scootaloo thought. All to soon the sensation ceased, but before Scootaloo could object she felt Rainbow Dash turning her head in the other direction... towards her body.
'Oh my gosh...' Scootaloo thought as she found herself staring at Rainbow Dash's exposed tits and stomach. She gulped nervously as she felt Rainbow continue her examination and lightly touch her. She must have seen something odd, because Scootaloo soon felt Dash turn her head slightly more, giving the already-excited mare a small peek at Dash's sweet, slick pussy.
Scootaloo couldn't help but moan in eroticism at just the sight in front of her, but Dash froze in place as she thought she had hurt Scootaloo. "You okay? Something hurt?" she asked again.
Scootaloo hated lying, but this was a moment she'd be absolutely stupid to pass up. "Oh, uh, I think it may be a little farther back." she said hesitantly.
Rainbow Dash nodded and very carefully turned the young mare's head a little more, giving Scootaloo an even clearer view of her crotch. Scootaloo tried her best to keep her breathing under control, but she knew that there was no way Rainbow could not be noticing the heavy panting and thus Scootaloo's warm breath being blown right against her intimate spot. However, Rainbow was more concerned about Scootaloo's well being and didn't say anything.
'If I stuck out my tongue, I could taste her.' Scootaloo realized. She quickly tried to weigh her options, to decide if tasting the holy grail was worth the risk. This kind of opportunity didn't come along every day, and Scootaloo doubted it would ever happen again.
'I want it so bad. Just one... small...' Scootaloo thought, her mouth parting slightly as she licked her lips.
"Good news, kiddo. Looks like you're in the clear." Dash's voice suddenly rang out.
Scootaloo's heart sank as she felt Rainbow pat the back of her head before helping her back to her feet. "Careful, floor's wet." Dash cautioned.
Scootaloo simply nodded as she stood up, once again so far from her goal which, just moments before, she was so close to. "Thanks for, you know..." she said with her head hung.
Rainbow Dash approached her friend and ruffled her hair. "Don't sweat it, kid. Glad you're okay." she said as she quickly toweled off and walked over to her locker to get dressed. "I gotta go see the instructors about making sure you have a spot for next year's trial reserved. There's NO way you'll flunk again, not with me as your personal coach! Be back in ten!"
As she always did, Rainbow got dressed in less than half the time it'd take a normal pony to button a shirt and was out the door in the blink of an eye. Sighing in slight depression, Scootaloo turned off the shower and walked over to Rainbow's locker to dress herself, though it would definitely not be nearly as fast. Nobody was quicker than Rainbow Dash.
Just as soon as Scootaloo finished dressing herself she heard the locker room door open. Thinking it was Rainbow Dash returning already, she twirled around in excitement but quickly replaced her smile with a look of surprise as she saw someone unexpected standing in front of her.
“How did you get in here?” Thunderlane asked, his gym bag slung over one shoulder.
“Oh, uh, I’m… I’m waiting on R-Rainbow Dash.” Scootaloo stammered, immediately recognizing him as one of the three instructors that had been judging her earlier today.
It took a few moments for Thunderlane to reach the same conclusion. “Oh yeah, Scootaloo, right? Rainbow Dash sponsored you, right?” he asked, which Scootaloo nodded yes.
Thunderlane approached his own locker, right next to Rainbow Dash’s, and placed his bag inside of it before placing a hand of consolation on Scootaloo’s shoulder. “Look, I know you were disappointed to not pass and all, but we can only take the best of the best pegasi in all of Equestria. It takes a lot of practice and work to join our ranks. Don’t take it personally.”
Scootaloo pulled away slightly, still sore over the last four words written on her paper. “Then how come you all said to not bother next year, huh?” she said dryly.
Thunderlane shrugged his shoulders. “Look, I said it wasn’t personal. We have data on how much even the strongest of pegasi can improve in just one year, and even if you improve as much as the top pegasus has done, you still won’t pass all of the tests. You’d need at least two years of rigorous training, maybe three.”
While not the strongest at ‘fancy mathematics’, it only took Scootaloo a few seconds to realize something. “Wait a second, Rumble and I both had about the same wing power during gym class last year, and I’ve been training every single day for this. But Rumble passed somehow, didn’t he?”
Thunderlane nodded, causing Scootaloo to stomp in anger. “Then he cheated! YOU helped get him in and didn’t record his actual wing power! There’s no way he could have improved that much in such a short time!”
Thunderlane’s hands formed fists at the accusation. “I did no such thing! Why do you think there are three instructors judging each applicant, huh? To make sure cheating doesn’t happen!”
“Then explain how he passed and I didn’t!” Scootaloo shouted back, tears welling in her eyes from her desperation.
Thunderlane couldn’t help but smile slightly. “Because he had the best helping him train. Me. Obviously Miss Fastest Flyer isn’t a very good teacher.”
Scootaloo shook her head, a few tears falling down her face. “You take that back! Rainbow Dash is a great coach!”
“Oh, is she now?” Thunderlane smirked. “Then how come you failed and Rumble passed?”
As if her body reacted on its own, Scootaloo quickly reached back and slapped Thunderlane’s face as hard as she could. The surprise attack caught Thunderlane off guard, and coupled with the force behind the attack he stumbled slightly. Scootaloo covered her mouth in shock at what she had done, but before Thunderlane could respond or hit her back she quickly grabbed her back from Rainbow’s locker and fled, wanting to leave the training facility as quickly as she could.
Gingerly touching his cheek, Thunderlane winced at the slight pain and also noticed his lip was now bleeding slightly. It was immediate expulsion for any trainee or applicant to hit an instructor like Scootaloo had, but Thunderlane had no intention on reporting the incident. If anything, the confrontation that had just happened cemented only one thought in his mind;
“I am so much better at teaching than Rainbow Dyke is.” he said with a grin.
The next morning, Scootaloo found herself standing in front of the Wonderbolt Academy once more. She clenched her fists in determination and began second guessing the decision she had chosen last night. She had flown straight back to her hotel and locked herself in her room, quickly texting to Rainbow that she was suddenly too tired to do anything else today before she broke down and cried herself to sleep.
She had hated that not only did she let herself down but Rainbow Dash as well. Rainbow had dedicated so much time to helping Scootaloo not only train every single day but also helped secure her a spot in the entrance exam; an exam that only allowed ten pegasi to try out every year. Right before she had fallen asleep she thought back to what Thunderlane had told her, and though she didn’t want to believe him the irrefutable proof was in front of her.
Rumble was training to become a Wonderbolt.
Scootaloo wasn’t.
’Maybe… maybe there IS something Thunderlane knows that Rainbow Dash doesn’t.’
It had taken her all morning to summon the courage just to go back to the Wonderbolts Academy, but there was also the matter of if Thunderlane would even talk to her after what she had done. She knew she could be immediately thrown out and told never to return, but if Rumble could manage to grow strong enough to be a Wonderbolt in six months, surely she could manage to do the same in a year.
IF Thunderlane forgave her and agreed to teach her.
Summoning all the courage she could, Scootaloo took a deep breath before entering the building, making her way straight to Thunderlane's office. She hesitated as she raised her hand to knock on the door, thinking that maybe going behind Rainbow's back and seeking help from Thunderlane would be a mistake. However, her determination to join Rainbow Dash in the skies won out, and as she gritted her teeth she gave the door a short rap.
As Thunderlane opened the door he showed his genuine surprise at who his visitor was. "Can I help you?" he asked with one eyebrow raised.
Scootaloo stared at the floor to avoid eye contact while kicking the floor. "I... I want you to train me." she muttered softly.
"What was that? Speak up."
"I want you to train me to be a Wonderbolt." Scootaloo repeated, looking up slightly.
Once again surprised, Thunderlane beckoned Scootaloo to enter his office. "Finally realized that I'm the better of the two?" he mocked as he closed the door behind Scootaloo.
The young pegasus mare shook her head. "I just want to fly. I'll do anything I have to to become a Wonderbolt." she said firmly.
"Anything?" Thunderlane asked.
Scootaloo nodded. "That's the only reason I'm here right now." she said coldly.
Thunderlane slowly approached Scootaloo, causing her to back up until her back hit the wall. She grimaced as Thunderlane places his face mere inches away from her own before he spoke.
"Anything, huh? Well then, why don't you start by sucking my cock?"
Scootaloo immediately slapped Thunderlane once again. "You sick fuck! There's no way I would ever do that for you!" she said angrily, pushing past him and headed for the door. However, right as her hand touched the doorknob Thunderlane spoke up, causing her to freeze.
"Would you rather I report what you just did? You'd never fly with Dash then."
Scootaloo immediately regretted her reaction, no matter how justified it may have been. "So? I'll just report you for trying to proposition me." she countered halfheartedly.
Thunderlane chuckled. "Who do you think they'd believe? Some failed recruit or a respected instructor? All anyone would see is a failure trying to blame someone else for their own weakness and uselessness. Besides, then you'd never learn the secret I taught Rumble."
Scootaloo knew Thunderlane was right about no one believing any accusation she may try to file without any concrete evidence, not to mention she was still curious how Rumble managed to do the impossible. Thunderlane also saw the look of curiosity on her face, and with one final push he spoke softly. "I can guarantee you'll become a Wonderbolt under my training. You'll be flying alongside Rainbow Dash."
The offer was extremely tempting for Scootaloo, who lowered her arm and turned back to Thunderlane. The sly stallion once again approached Scootaloo, this time gently placing a hand on the back of her head and guiding her body down so she was now on her knees. "All you have to do... is just one... simple... thing." he said with a smile.
