Midnight Rose and Shining Star have just moved to Ponyville with their parents. For now, they're staying at their cousins' Rarity and Sweetie Belle.

Midnight is a few years younger than the Mane 6, and has had her cutie mark for a few years. She's a writer, and she has issues getting along with other ponies. How will she react when she meets the Men 6? Will they get along? Or will it all end on a bad note?

Shining Star is around the age of the CMCs, who offer her to be part of their club. It only makes sense after all, considering that she doesn't have her cutie mark. She wants to be her own pony, and find her own destiny. Will she be able to do that with the help of the CMCs ?
