"Actually from my father, what is actually pretty awkward, 'cause he never joked. These were accidental sayings he made and I changed them into jokes." explained Pinkie. "Cool! My pa' and ma' used to joke too. Usual theme was apples." said with sad smile as she remembered her dead parents jokes. "My parents are joking theme is animals." said Fluttershy with shy voice. "Mine are books." Twilight said. "My parents don't joked much, but if they do, we're all dying in laughter." said Rarity happily. Only one who were quiet was Rainbow Dash, trying to force smile on her face. "Rainbow, do your parents joke too?" asked Twilight from Dash. Only answer they got from Dash was simple head shaking. Pinkie gasped and said: "That's horrible. You're time at home must be very boring." "I think I should tell you my real story." said Dash quietly. "Well...tell us then." said Applejack carefully. "I was delinquent in foal age. Stubborn, trouble-making and selfish. Not even a week after I was born my mom just left without any sign. Only thing she left was letter. That said: Hold that foal to yourself. I can't stand her anymore. She's the worst foal I've ever met. But I still love you. With love Firefly From there my father had to work and care for not even 2 weeks old foal. That was stressing for him. He could somehow do it until I was 9. I weren't any better than in the foal age. Maybe even worse. I always got into fights or somehow get teachers angry. So dad had to raise me, work and deal with that mom wasn't there. So about 3 months after I got 9, he left too. With love Dad And from there I have lived alone. My grandparents had died before I was born. Mom and dad didn't had any siblings. I didn't knew any other relatives to go. I didn't wanted to tell any friends. I did random works to earn more bits. And I lived like that until I came to Ponyville. So 6 years. And every time that comes to my mind, I just want jump down from cliff. And I don't know why, but I still keep things what are reminding me them, close to me, like picture of them, those letters, even few bits what dad gave me...I would do anything to see them again." That was too brutal way to teach filly how to take care for herself. B-but t-t-that was a-all m-m-my f-fault." Finally Rainbow broke and started to cry grievously. Applejack pulled her into her hug. "It's not yer fault, Sugarcube." AJ tried without any results. "B-but they went away, because o-of me. I'm the r-reason of these events. It w-would have been b-better when I would never had born, then every thing would be g-g-great, my parents would have n-never leaved, I would never been a-alone and I wouldn't c-cry here right now." Now was Rainbow pretty much not herself. So AJ pushed her away from herself and said: "Take yourself together. That...wasn't...yer...fault. That was yer parents problem that they leaved ya. Ya just have to get over from it an' go on." That made Rainbow wipe away her tears and say: "You're right. I just have to forget that and go on with my life." Then they made a group hug what made Rainbow smile again. "I caught that your mom's name is Firefly, but I didn't caught your father's name." said purple alicorn princess. "Dad's name is Spectrum."

"Because we are going to find Dash's family," said Twilight confidentaly "as Rainbow is in Wonderbolts Academy for a week again, we can look for them." "But how we're going to find them? They can be everywhere, except Ponyville and Cloudsdale." was Applejack confused. "I used my magic powers to find their location. Their in Manehattan, on Hay street, house number 23." said Twilight with her egghead smile. "Cool. Let's go!" was Pinkie enthusiastic. "Alright. Train is coming in 10 minutes." said Twilight. Mane 5 trotted into train station. FEW HOURS LATER "We're here. Now let's find Hay street." said Twilight when they stepped out from train. Then Fluttershy saw sign that said: "Hay street". "Twilight..." said Fluttershy and knocked on Twilight's shoulder and then pointed to the sign. "Oh...Thanks Fluttershy." They walked through Hay street. "23;23;23" Twilight repeated to herself. Then she stopped front of one little green house with a blue roof. On house wall was light blue circle. In that circle was black 23. "That's it..." said Rarity quietly. Twilight went to the door, stopped for a second and then knocked on the brown wooden door. Door was opened by light purple pegasus stallion, with a rainbow mane. That was indubitably Rainbow's father. "Yeah?" asked stallion. "Hello, you're Spectrum right?" asked Twilight politely. "Yes I am. Why?" was light purple pegasus confused. "Can we come in?" asked Twilight. "Yes, of curse." "One more question: Is Firefly here too?" "Yeah..." said stallion more confused. "Great." said Twilight with excitement. Spectrum let all 5 in as he scratched his neck from confusion. 5 ponies sat on a couch. "Honey, we have guests." Spectrum shouted to the upstairs, where probably Firefly was. "Coming!" mare's voice responded. In a few moments a beautiful pink pegasus mare came down. "Oh, hello." she said kindly. "Hello." responded 5 ponies in a choir. "So...why are you here?" asked Spectrum. "We wanted to ask...would you like to meet your daughter again?" tried Twilight to be so understandable as she could. "What you mean with that?" asked Firefly with a face that she actually knows what's going on. "Rainbow Dash." said Applejack. Both sighed and Spectrum said: "Of curse we want. But we don't know where she lives and even if we would know we wouldn't got a courage.". "But we can help you with that." said Rarity. "This day is going more and more non-understandable." said Firefly. "Thing is that we are her friends an' yesterday she said to us, that she will do anythin' to see you two again." explained Applejack. "Okay we will try to warm up our relationship again." said Firefly. "Great. Can you come this Sunday before 10 o'clock?" asked Twilight. "Sure, but why Sunday?" "Because she is in a Wonderbolt Academy until Sunday." "Our daughter is a Wonderbolt?" asked both. "No, but learns how to be." said Pinkie. "Alright, but we have something more to surprise her." said Firefly. "What is it?" asked Fluttershy. "She has little sister." said Spectrum. Everyone were shocked. "She does!? What's her name? How old is she?" was Pinkie super excited. "Yes she has. Her name is Fire Song. She is 6 years old." answered Firefly. "Then there's many surprises on Sunday."

You're still my parents." said Rainbow tears in her eyes Rarity wiped tears away from her eyes. That was so touching that she would possibly cry. There was two ponies who would start cry too: Twilight and Pinkie. Applejack and Fluttershy were just smiling. "I'm happy you aren't mad at us, especially at me." said Firefly. "I understood why dad went away, but actually I haven't got your reason." said Rainbow. "Look...I was pretty young when I got you. About 18. I wanted still go out with friends, have parties and so on. Day when you were born changed that all. I was depressed about so fast changes. I had to go. But I never came back, because I didn't knew how your dad would take it. But after he leaved you she looked me up and we lived together again. We always felt quilt about leaving you. But none of us could go back. We didn't knew how you should take it. You had seen me only few days, so we actually feared you wouldn't recognize me any more and never call your own anymore. But I never forget you." explained Firefly, crying. "And I always waited that you come back for me, and we would be an family again." added Dash. "What ever happened in the past, we're together now again. All thanks to your friends." said Spectrum and pointed other 5. "You made that happen guys?" asked Rainbow from her friends. "Yah. We saw how unhappy ya were without them, so we decided to find them up." Said Applejack. "You're best friends pony could ever have." said RD after hugging them tight. "Just wanted to make you happy." said pink party pony. "One more thing Dashie. You might have already much to digest, but we have another surprise for ya." said Rainbow's father "What?" said already over-exited Rainbow. "You have a little sister." smiled Firefly. Rainbow's eyes went big. Happiness and surprise fought on her face. "Really?!" "She's upstairs doing a nap." "How old she is that she has to do a nap?" asked Rainbow. "She's 6 years old. Her name is Fire Note." "Can I see her?" "Yes of curse. But don't wake her up. She can be pretty grumpy when you force her to wake up. But usually she is very friendly." said Spectrum. Rainbow dashed upstairs. She opened a door a bit and saw a little blue pegasus filly with yellow mane, sleeping on the bed. When Rainbow looked closely she saw even some freckles on her cheeks. She let a few tears ran down. Then the little filly's eyes fluttered open and she hoped down from bed. What was the weirdest that she already got a cutie mark. That was an note what was on fire. Then Spectrum and Firefly came up. "She woke up." said Rainbow. "Oh great, now we can introduce you to her." said Firefly. Rainbow was a bit nervous. What if she dosen't like me? "Hey Fire Note. We have somepony you would like to meet." said Firefly to filly. "Who is she? She looks bit like daddy." said little filly with squeaky voice. And when she talked Rainbow saw that she had few teeth missing. "She's your sister. We had a problem and she got lost when she was little." said Spectrum and winked to Dash what said that Fire Note is too young to know the truth. "But now she's back and you have someone to play. We move into Ponyville, so you can visit her anytime you want." said Firefly. That information made Fire Note smile and she made a jump hug to Rainbow. Best day ever!!

"No I don't." argued filly. Rainbow rolled eyes and chuckled. "I'll go and introduce them. It's okay right?" said rainbow maned pegasus to her parents. "Of curse it is." Rainbow flew down with her little sister. She didn't noticed where she went and crashed into Twilight. "Ow...Sorry Twi. You OK?" "I am, thanks for asking. I see you had good time up there." said smiling Twilight. "Yeah, I did. I mentioned that I would like to her meet Scootaloo and now she won't stop talking about it. And she's like thistle. A adorable thistle." said over-enthusiastic Dash. "Rainbow, coming?" asked Fire Note. "Right behind ya!" said Rainbow and dashed after little sister. "I've never saw Rainbow so happy." said Pinkie. "That would been weird if she weren't." said Rarity. *** "Hey Rainbow! Wait up. I'm not so fast as you." shouted Fire Note, from pretty far away from RD. "Oh...sorry. I'm used to fly fast. But for your luck, I spotted Scootaloo." said Rainbow and stopped. She flied down. "Hey Scoots!" said Rainbow and gave a brohoof to little orange filly. "Hi, Dash. Who's that?" was little filly confused when she spotted Fire Note. "Oh that's Fire Note. I'm going to make this story shortly. You might know that I didn't had parents, but they came back today and I got to know that I have a little sister. Who is randomly it's Fire Note." said Rainbow, carefully waiting Scootaloo's reaction. "Wait...You have a sister?!" was little filly confused. "I do, but that doesn't change that I took you under my wing. But why we came here is that I wanted to introduce you two." "I'm Fire Note. You're Scootaloo, right?" asked Fire politely. "Yup. I can see you can fly...and have a cutie mark." said Scootaloo and frowned a bit. "I do. And I see you can't fly and don't have cutie mark." said Fire Note with empathetic smile. "Eh...yes." "Don't worry, I can teach you fly. But I can't help you get your talent." said enthusiastic Fire Note. "Great!" shouted Scootaloo. Both ran off, leaving Rainbow alone standing in middle of road. That truly was her best day ever. She smiled, turned around and walked back to Twilight's library.
