It was a normal morning in the crystal empire as shining Armor leader of the royal guard and prince of the crystal empire woke up with a sharp pain in his back . It didn't alarm him or his wife as the equestria games were the day before and he'd most likely popped a disc in his back. Shining armor laid in bed, his body not wanting leave the pain reliving position he'd found himself in. As Candace nuzzled his neck gently to somewhat ease him out of bed.

"come on lazy bones if you want your back looked at . You have to get out of bed Shining"

"but honey it hurts can i just lay here?" shining said with a moaned as he rolled over to face her. The pink alicorn only smiled and lifted him out of their bed with her magic and carried him out.

"Are you sure theres no stomach pain shining armor?"the doctor asked looking the stallion over puzzled over the test results he got from his scan. The white stallion had no back problem from what he'd found using a magic scanning spell, but there was something else that appeared in the scan that was forming in shining's stomach.

"no just back pain doc why you find something else?"shining asked as he watched the doctor listen to his stomach with confusion.

"oh my ... this is very odd indeed just what i thought"

"what is it doc?"

"well shining armor your expecting a foal"
