"T'was too late......too late!"
The choked sobs of Rarity wafted through the room,punctuated with the occasional wail.
"Why......h-how could this happen to me!"
More wails filled the air, bouncing off the walls of the boutique. The entire place was drenched in agony.
Anger, resentment, fear, indignation.
"I could have.....why didn't I .....No!"
Another sob, soon to be followed by countless others,escaped the white unicorn's lips.
Now drained of her energie, she lay in a dazed heap on her bed.
"So useless..........so futile......."
Sho dozed off, the torn, irreparable, gem-encrusted dress clutched in her hooves.
