The alarm clock rang in her ears. She violently hit it, stopping the ear bleeding noise.
With a groan, she turned over. Her clock nearly blinded her as she looked at it, it was too bright.
9:40
She realized today was finally Saturday, the last day of school was yesterday. But today is a new day, a perfect day.
She hopped out of bed, she slowed herself down once she reached the bathroom mirror.
"Eh, today's a big day! No time for fancy showers!" She said to herself as she reached for a bottle of gel and a brush, with one brush and a tiny bit of gel her hair was set.
She took a moment to smell the sweet summer breeze- it smelt of sunscreen and chlorine, the absolute nostalgia activator.
At this time, she realized she had left her surf board inside. Once she got a hold of it, it was time to kick some flank!
Ever since AWESOME pony decided to build a "surf turf" which was an entire area of Las Pegasas where anypony could surf. ANYPONY. It was that big, making it perfect for Ginger Wave and her rather popular sister Tidel Wave to surf and feel more at home. Her sister woke up before her no surprise- there was a note left for her on Tidel's bed stand that Ginger read whilst walking along Las Pegasas' hot sidewalk, the cement didn't bother her though.
"Hey Ginger! You're probably wondering where I am. Well, I got tired of waiting for you sleepy head! Ya snooze ya lose! Meet cha at the Surf Turf~ Love ya."
She took her eyes away from the paper but by then it was too late. She had bumped behind somepony and fell to the ground. She immediately got up. "Sorry I-"
The filly in front of her turned around. "Well look who it is- Toilet Wave's sister!"
"Carrot Gold-" She sneered "I knew it was you! I recognized your fat flank!"
"You would know all about looking at flanks wouldn't you? Gay."
"No I bumped into it, you're so fat it covers up the entire view of the surf turf"
"Oooooooh!" The crowd cheered.
"Whatever! I'm going to go get some ice cream."
"Yeah go stuff your face." Ginger turned her attention back to the beach.
The waves were anticipating, and she just wanted to straight up jump in- but she couldn't. She could never surf without her sister. She didn't want to.
"Hey Ginger!" She recognized that tomboyish voice from anywhere.
"Tidel!" She galaoped to her.
"You finally here lazy?"
Ginger chuckled. "Get your head out of the clouds early bird."
"I love you too." Tidel added. "Com'on. Ready to surf?"
"Anyday."
"I doubt that." The White coated ocean blue maned filly replied.
