Fallout Equestria Song of Silence
Grey.
The first color to meet my eyes was a solid, bold shade of grey, other than the white lights of course, but I was blinded enough to where it didn't matter if the lights were there.
I remember the first sound I heard. A pony with a caring voice....saying something to another pony with a purple mane and beautiful blue fur. At this point I couldn't tell what she was saying since I hadn't learned how to speak, but I remember something like "a miracle..." Whatever that word meant at the time or ever in my life was another mystery.
My first breath mixed with my curiosity were the next to come. They were surprised when I didn't cry at birth, or cower because of a bunch of white coated weirdos standing over me with masks on. For some reason I liked them, I felt they weren't gonna do me any harm.
Another voice pitched in, he was male. His voice sounding a bit, hippy like. He said pony at the end of each sentence and had such long hair he was forced to wear one of those nets that the lunch people always wear. His mane was in dreads they were coal black and he was a mint green with pretty pink eyes. The other pony who was kinda built more than the other two looked down at me with interest. It was a bit unnerving, but he didn't seem to be a threat
He finally spoke to me saying something about "hey there youngin" he had a country accent and today I think he was a relative of the apple family, but he wasn't who I thought he was originally.
He picked me up in his magic and held me close and then planted a kiss on my head. According to the A.I of this place he loved me like a father would his own son. Unfortunate that day was the last day I saw my...."father"
A couple hours later a bunch of ponies on the camera feed I was watching. Were scrambling out the door in a frenzied panic screaming something about bombs and zebras. Then the world shook, almost like a vibrating pony after firing non stop on a .50 cal. he ran lie, there was no tommorow and took me to a medical room, securing me inside a medical tube of some sort. I cooed as the soft leather seat Inside conformed to my frail body. Then I was sealed inside by two glass dome pieces.
"I love you Twilight.....stay here for daddy ok. I'll be back soon" knowing that probaly wouldn't happen he ran back to the other room and sealed the door.
"Sleeping agent activated. Diagnosing now"
I remember my eyes growing heavy as I rocked my head trying to stay awake, unfortunately I felt my eyes shut one last time. My nap felt like forever, my body only gaining an age every couple of years depending on what the system allowed. Years passed, then decades and then a century. To the point where the outside world had changed beyond what most ponies would remember. New A.I systems replacing the old, new ponies replacing the last.
And yet I still slept on despite all the changes in the growing world. i didn't even recognize my own changes. The machine harbored me inside that dome for 300 years teaching me things while I slept (as odd as that sounds) and feeding me (because being over 300 years old I couldn't feed myself I guess).
a lot of things happend from the day the world ended. Many wonderful and many bad things. From the resurrection of the grand Pegasus enclave, to the Steel Rangers, to raiders of all kinds. Many things I would say I was never prepared for. I never cared to prepare, I was in a dome for 300 years locked away so far it wasn't even funny.
I learned a lot though. I somehow remember some of my first years. Some of my dreams....my father. I wish he was back. He just seemed like the nicest pony that a purple pony could ever have. I couldn't ask for a better dad and I hope he realizes that I really did love him, despite only knowing him for a couple of hours.
If I could say one thing to him I would hug him and say I love you dad, but I couldn't grow up with him. The zebras couldn't wait another 30 years to unleash death upon the world, but I guess it's our fault to. I'll get to that part later, it it was a 50-50 problem that couldn't be avoided sadly.
Anywho let me Introduce myself. I'm twilight song. Age um I think 20 in some years. I have a black and green mane. Have beautiful purple eyes, my cutie mark is a guitar that is on fire. According to my A.I system it looks like a famous rock stars guitar from like 400 years ago or so. I have a purple body tone and sparkling white teeth. Later in the story I'll have about 8 rings 4in each ear. My ears are kinda fluffy and pointed. My hair is soft as crap and my tail drags along the ground which is gross if twigs get in it. I'm scared to death of spiders and cockroaches. They are disgusting creatures. Well, let's say I'm a hell of a shot. You will learn more as the story goes on. Don't want to point my story for anyone (sorry those who like spoilers). Anyhow I'll continue on with the 300 year old story below.
anyways in a few moments I guess the system wanted to give me a wake up call. The new system apprently thought I should interrupt his nap and stuff so yea some beeping and some emergency protocol bullcrap and yea.
"Activating subject 117. Awakening......now"
Well, so much for that extra five minute nap I wanted. Well, here comes another outcast world.
