Chapters Author's Note
Well, here's the sequel for "Nidras dating game" for ya! Hope you like it!
Chapter 1:The week after
It had been a week after Claire found out Prisms feelings for her in "Nidra's Dating Game". Ever since then, Claire and Prism have been visiting each other more often. Claire told her parents, Rarity and Spike, about what had happened between the two. Prism did the same.
"Ohhh my goodness! Ohhh my goodness! My little girl finally has a colt friend!" Rarity cooed after Claire had told her the story of how she and Prism became mare and colt friends.
"Aww, mom, stop." Claire said, blushing.
"My little girl is growing up..." Spike said, hugging his daughter.
"Congrats, sis." Turquiose Blitz, Claire's brother said. "Never thought you would get hooked up with Priz...."
"Me neither...." Claire said.
"DING DONG!!!"
"I'll get it!" Claire said, rushing to the door. As she opened the door, she saw Prism standing there with a bouquet of roses,(Claire's favorite) in his hoof.
"Surprise!" Prism said, handing Claire the flowers.
"Aww, prizy, my favorite. How thoughtful of you." Claire said, taking the flowers and giving Prizm a big kiss on the lips. After they parted, Claire invited Prizm inside thier home.
"Hello Mrs.Rarity! Hello Mr.Spike!" Prism said as he walked in.
"Hello,Prism! Nice to see you again." Rarity said.
"Hey Priz. What's up?" T said, hoof bumping him.
"Not much. Just hanging with mom and dad."
"Well, now you have me to hang with." Claire said, leaning on him. After about an hour of talking about what's happened recently, Rarity finally asked, " Well, enough chit-chat. Prism, are you hungry?"
"Well, a little.... but I don't expect you to cook anything.." Prism said.
"Oh, its not a problem at all." Rarity said, heading into the kitchen.
"Oh, Prizy, don't be so modest." Claire said.
"But, Claire, why in equestria would I put your mother to work?"
" Oh, your not putting her to work. She is just simply offering you."
"Whatever you say, Claire." Prism said as he rolled his eyes. She always had to have a comeback.
"So, Priz..... have you and Candy been pulling any pranks lately?" T, who he and Spike were still siting there, asked.
" Candy? Me and her haven't talked since me and Claire started dating." Prism answered.
" You haven't? I was just talking to her the other day and she said she had some really good pranks to pull off." T said.
"Oh! In that case, I'll go talk to her when were done eating." Prism said.
"Sooo, you didn't tell her about us?" Claire asked.
"Well, no, not yet." Prism said. He took a big sniff of the good smells and aromas of food coming from the kitchen. Spike did the same." Rarity must be making.... Turkey." Spike said.
"TURKEY???!!!" T, Prism, and Claire said in unison.
"How could she make turkey that fast?" Prism questioned.
"That's just Rarity." Spike said, heading into the kitchen. Just as Spike headed in, Rarity shouted, "LUNCH IS SURVED!!!"
As Claire and Prism sat down, Rarity said, "Oh no no no no, I have a special place for you two.". She then started pushing them into another room. As they got into the room, Claire's jaw dropped. There was a table with a velvet cloth over it and two candles on the top. On each side of the candles, there was a plate, spoon, fork, and knife.
" Mrs- Mrs- Mrs.Rarity! You didn't have to do this..." Prism said, blushing.
"Mom..... this is..... incredible..." Claire said, hugging her.
"Oh, this? This is nothing." Rarity said modestly. "Now, sit down. Its time to eat." As Claire and Prism sat down, Rarity trotted into the kitchen to get the food. As Rarity came back in, she set the food on the table and said, "Bon Apetite"
When Rarity left the room, Claire said, "Well, that was kind of akward"
"I guess so.." Prism said, grabbing his knife and cutting the turkey. They were silent while Prism cut the turkey. When both ponies were served, Prism said, "Well, there has been something i've been wanting to ask you for a few days now..."
"What is it?" Claire asked, putting down her fork and looking up at Prism.
"Umm... would you...... like to, umm..... go on a date with me... tomorrow night... or something?" Prism asked, blushing a scarlet red.
"Prizy... I..."
"You know what, just forget it..." Prism said, turning his head away.
"I didn't say no, Prizy" Claire said.
"No, its not that... its just... I don't know how to charm a girl, a special girl like you.."
"Oh, Priz, you don't need to do anything special for me. Anything would be fine." Claire said, getting up from her seat and trotting over to Prism to give him a big hug.
"Thank, Claire." Prism said, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Now, lets eat."
Chapter 2:Jealous Jealousy Pants
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 3: The begining of being insulted
It was a beautiful day in ponyville. Perfect for a date. Prism happily got lout of bed, for it was the day of his and Claire's date. As he headed into the bathroom, he said to himself, "Ok, Prism. Todays the day you give Claire the best day of her life." As he grabbed his toothbrush, spread some tooth paste on it, and started brushing, his dad, Sorin, came into the room.
"Morning, Prism."
"Morning dad." Prism said as he spit out the paste and grabbed his mouthwash excitedly.
"Wow, you seem excited. What's going on today?"
"Im....uh... taking Claire on a..... date."
"Wow! Great! Do you know haw to charm a girl?"
"I think so..."
"I think so' is not going to do"
Claire hummed to herself as she walked to the kitchen to get some watermelon to eat. She was already up and at em, even though she was never known to be an early bird. As she opened the fridge, she heard the door bell ring. She closed the fridge and happily trotted to the door. When she opened it, she found a giddy Prism standing there with a hoof piked rose in his mouth.
"Here.." Prism said, handing Claire the rose.
"Thanks, Prizy. What are you here for?"
"For our date, of course."
"You said that that was tonight." Claire said, clearly comfused.
"Oh, did i say that.." Prism said slyly.
"So, where are we going.." Claire said, giving in.
"Its a surprise." Prism said, taking Claire's hoof/Claw and walking her down the street.
As Prism and Claire walked down the street, they passed Del, who was carring a basket of apples on his back.
"Hey, Del! Need any help?"
"Nah... although... Candy was pretty ticked off the last time I spoke to her. She said something about Prism not being her friend, or something.
"Do you have anything to say, Prism?" Claire said sternly to Prism. " You did visit her yesterday."
"Yeah, oh I have something to say, alright." Prism said angrily. " I have to say that she is a big JERK!!!!"
"What? I thought you guys were friends.." Del said.
" Yeah, we were friends..." Prism answered. "until yesterday."
"What happened?" Claire asked.
"Well, after I left your house, I went to sugar cube corner. Then, I met Candy there with a whole lot of pranks to plan. But most of them were on you." Prism said, turning to Claire.
"Have you guys not learned from the last time you pranked me??!!" Claire said.
" That's the thing. I told Candy that me and you were dating, but then she got mad and started yelling at me..."
"Oh, I see the problem. Candy is jealous." Claire said calmly.
"Of who?" Del asked.
"Prism and me, of course."
"But why? I told Candy a long time ago that I had a crush on you. Why is she now mad?"
"Because, she obviously knew that you liked me but never told me.."
"And?" Prism said, wanting to get to the point.
" so she didn't expect you to tell me ever because she had a crush on you! So now that we're dating, her feelings are hurt."
"But if she did like me, why didn't she ever tell me? She is always straight forward."
"Maybe she was shy. You wouldn't expect a girl to come up to you and say, ' I have a crush on you' , would you?"
"Well... no..." Prism said. There was silence. Then, Prism finally said, " Lets get going, Claire. We cant let this stop us from having our date."
"Your on a date??!!" Del shouted.
"Yes. Prizy put it all together.." Claire said, hugging Prism.
" Yeah.." Prism said, blushing. "Well, it was nice seeing you here, Del. But we best be going." Prism said, he and Claire waving as they trotted down the street.
"Sooo, where are we going?" Claire asked, following Prism.
"I cant tell you. It would ruin the fun." Prism said.
As Prism and Claire finally stopped, Prism said, " Ok, close your eyes.."
"Ok..." Claire said, closing her eyes. Then, she and Prism walked a little ways further. Claire could here little noises becoming louder ones as she and Prism came to a halt.
"You can open them!" Prism said excitedly as Claire opened her eyes. She gasped at the sight she saw. They were standing on a hill above a festive carnival.
"I have heard of this Carnival and thought it would be a fun experience for both of us. Now, lets have some fun!!" Prism said, grabbing Claire's claw and racing down the hill to the ticket booth. When they got to the booth, a pony named Ticket Master greeted them.
"Heya folks! Welcome to the annual ponyville carnival! What can I get for ya?" He said, leaning on the edge of the booth toward Prism and Claire.
"Well, can we get two all- day passes please?" Prism said, handing him some bits. Ticket took the money and gave them the passes.
"Here you go, fella. Have a good time." Ticket said as Prism and Claire took the passes and started to walk into the crowd. As they walked in, Prism asked, "What do you want to do first?"
"Hmm.." Claire said as she was inspecting every game closely. Then, she saw a game that she loved ever since she was a foal.
"That one, please" Claire said, rushing over so there wouldn't be a line. As she headed over, she noticed Candy across the path on the other side of the game. She looked as happy as ever. As Prism came over, she whispered, "Psst. Prism? Are you sure that Candy was just cranky when you talked to her?, because she looks pretty happy to me.." Then, she pointed to a happy Candy.
"Pft! Claire, don't fall for that nonsense. She might look happy now, but if anyone were to try to talk to her, her words would hurt so much that it feels like she stabbed you in the back." Prism whispered back.
"Well, im going to go talk to-"
"Claire, Don't! She is going to mess up your mood and make you grumpy! I don't want that today!" Prism said.
"Prism, please. Im half dragon. My feeling don't get hurt that easily." Claire said, walking over to Candy. As soon as Candy noticed Claire, her extra puffy mane went straight.
"Hey, Cand-"
"What do you want?" Candy said huffily.
"Well I came to talk to you abou-"
"About Prism? Oh, heck no. Here we go again"
"How did you kn-"
" You and him are dating. Yeah, ive heard it all around from ou- Er- My so called 'Friends'. Claire and Prism this. Claire and Prism that. Claire and Prism, Claire and Prism, CLAIRE AND PRIM!!! THATS ALL I HEAR ANYMORE!! WELL, CLAIRE AND PRISM, NEWS FLASH! NOBODY CARES!!!!!"
"Candy, are you je-"
"CLAIRE, JUST SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!!! I WISH YOU NEVER EXSISTED!! IF YOU WERENT BORN, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED!!" Then, Candy galloped of in rage.
"FINE!!, CANDY!! BE LIKE THAT!!!" Claire yelled, crying as she ran off. Everyone was silent but Prism who shouted, "Claire! Claire, come back!" then, he trotted after her.
Chapter 4: The gift of Giving
As Claire ran, she could see a hill across from the fair with a tree on the top, gazing over the fair. She decided to sit at the top. When she made it to the top, she began to sob till she felt a wing wrap around her tightly. She looked up to see Prism, giving her a warm smile.
"Prism.." She mumbled as she hugged him. For the rest of the afternoon, Prism said comforting and encouraging words to cheere Claire up, but no matter how much he tried, she wouldn't stop crying.
"Claire, just don't think about what Candy said." Prism said.
"But Prism... Candy ment those things she said. How am I supposed to get over the fact that I wasn't supposed to exsist?" Claire said sadly.
"Claire, don't think you weren't supposed to exsist. If you didn't exsist, I don't know what I would do."
"Whatever..." Claire mumbled under her breath." You and Candy probably would Have a relationship if I didn't exsist." Prism sighed. He didn't want Claire to fell like this, especialy on their date. As Claire sobbed into Prisms chest, she felt somepony tap her on the shoulder. She looked up to see Ticket Master carying something in his mouth. It was a stuffed animal.
"Mmmph mmph mum" Ticket said.
"Pardon?" Claire said, looking up and wiping away her tears. Ticket levitated the animal with his magic and said, " Here you go" He handed Claire the animal." I saw the whole thing, and I felt bad for you, so I decided to give you this. Take it from me, it will comfort you."
"Thanks, but I can't take this. You don't have to give this to me just over a little argument."
"...Little?..." Prism said quietly, trying to hide it with a cough. Claire shot him a glare.
"No no, I insist, ma'm."
"Well... thanks." Claire said, taking the animal. As Claire shook his hoof, Prism said, "Well, we should be going. Its getting late and we have someplace to go."
"Prism..." Claire said, huffing as Prism dragged her down the other side of the hill back to town.
Chapter 5: Dinner is served!!
As Claire and Prism headed to their destination, Claire kept asking where they were going.
"Claire for the last time, I cant tell you. its a surprise."
"Prizy, Please?" Claire said, giving him the puppy dog face and batting her eyelashes.
"Guess for yourself because were here!" Prism said, pointing to a fancy-looking restaurant.
"Prism... I...." Claire started before Prism hushed her with his hoof. "Lets get ourselves a reservation." As they walked in, they say ponies of all size and ages chatting, giggling, and crying. All the waiters were bustling around with drinks and orders on their platters. As Claire walked in, they were about to go up to the manager when they bumped into whirlwind and... Icy?
" Whirlwind! Icy! What a pleasant surprise!" Claire said enthusiastically.
"Hey Claire! Hey.. Prism." Whirlwind said, lowering her voice.
"Prism! Claire! Nice to see you!" Icy said. Claire and Icy started chattering away. As they were talking, Prism said to Whirlwind, " Are you jealous?"
"Of course not! It's not like that!" Whirlwind said awkwardly." I know you love her, and I've learned to except my loss. Anyway, I'm dating icy now, so that's helping me move on"
"Whatever you say... I guess"
"Well, Claire, let's get our table, cause I'm working up a appetite."
"I think so." Prism said as the waitress came around.
"Good evening, mis ur. What can I get for you, zis lovely night?"
"Hmm.... I think I'll take a Strawberry lemonade, please." Claire answered.
"I'll get a tiki punch, if you don't mind." Prism said.
"Ok,gentleman and zi lady" The waiters left.
"Anyway... Why does everypony think that we shouldn't be together?"
"What do you mean?"
"Don't you understand??!! Every pony is jealous of us. For example, remember how Candy treated me earlier?! She hated me now!! And-"
"Your drinks, mis ur." The waiter said, handing them the glasses filled with their colorful substances.
"Thanks." Claire and Prism said in unison.
"No problem" The waitress said as he pulled out his pad." Your food?"
"A daffodil and daisy sandwich for me." Prism said
"A Garden salad for me, please." Claire said."
"Ok, got zit." With that, he left.
"A-hem, back to our conversation,without being rude, how do you even get along with her? I know she's planing something to do to you to get you back. Trust me, dragon hunches are never wrong."
"Claire, even IF they are planing something, it's nothing to change my feelings about you." Prism said, taking Claire bushed. Prism smiled. As Prism and Claire were getting closer, the waitress came back with their food.As he passed out their food and left, Claire and Prism talked about random things like girl talks, boy talks, lives of their best friends, and other stuff.After they finished their food and payed, they went back out side to the same hill from earlier. As they made it to the top, Claire said," This was one of my favorite things to so when I was little.." Claire said, sitting down on the soft grass. Prism sat next to her and wrapped a wing around her. He and her gazed up at the gleaming stars above, creating all kinds of constalations.
"Beautiful tonight, isn't it?" Claire said, concentrating on the stars.
"Yeah..." Prism said, not focusing on the stars, but on Claire. She looked even more beautiful at night when the glowing stars hit her eyes perfectly, making them shine in the moonlight. Claire turned to him, noticing that he was lost in her beauty and not focusing the stars above. She got a weird feeling in her stomach when she looked at him. His Leafy green colored eyes looked amazing in the night. They were so lost in each other's eyes that they didn't realize that they were leaning in closer. And closer. AND closer. Until their lips met. Their eyes shot open at the feeling. That made their pupils shrink to the size of mustard seeds, and blush so hard that their face was practically red. They never felt anything like it. A spark of electricity went through them like magic. Prism lifted his forelegs and wrapped them around Claire's neck. Claire Did the same, pulling the kiss in deeper. They sat their for a few seconds, not wanting it to end. Then they parted.
" Claire... I.... Just... Wow" Prism said between breaths, falling back on the grass. Claire just giggled.
"Consider that our first kiss." Claire said, sitting back up to look at the stars. Prism did the same.
"I love you, Claire" Prism said as Claire leaned on his shoulder.
"I love you too, Prism" Claire said, nuzzling him.
It was a week from the day that Candy had said those mean things about Claire. Claire had gotten over it, but that memory still lay in her mind. She was walking through ponyville to Prism's house when she saw Annie at the market and decided to say hi. When Annie turned and saw Claire coming, she got very excited.
"Claire! Congratulations!" She said.
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"You and Prism, of course." Annie said
"Oh, right. Thanks." Claire said sadly
"Whats wrong? Aren't you happy?"
" Yeah, it'sjust that everpony found out, it would become a disaster."
"Oooook...." Annie said, not really understanding the concept.
"Ok, what I mean is, that if word keeps getting around, it will eventually reach Pokey."
"First of all, how is that a bad thing? Secondly, doesn't he already know?"
"He doesn't know!! Candy doesn't tell everypony everything! And it's a bad thing because if he found out that I made his daughter mad about our relationship, he would get boiling mad!!" Clair said, pulling on her mane.
"Claire, Claire, relax, calm down." Annie said, It's not like he can't hit you or anything."
"Prism hit whirlwind once..." Claire mumbled.
".........um...... Ok, Prism is not as..... How do I say it.....he's not.... Mature. Pokey is mature enough to know that men don't hit girls.
"Yeah but still I.... I .....*Moans and Slumps on the ground*"
"Hey... How about you come to my place and we could have some tea?" Annie said, patting Claire on the back.
"That would be nice.... But.... I'm supposed to be meeting Prism for something."
"What is it? If it's important, then just forget about my offer."
"Well, I don't know."
"Well then, I could just invite him over."
"Ok.... Yeah... That'll work."
"Than lets go" Annie said as she and Claire made their way to her house.
Anthena and Claire walked silently to Anthena's humble abode. As Anthena was unlocking the door, Claire could hear arguing through the part of the door that was ajar. As Annie opened the door, Claire saw that T and Prism were talking about something.
"Well, it looks like we won't need to invite Prism over." Annie whispered.
"I guess not." Claire responded. "T! Im home, and I brought Claire with me!" Annie said from across the hallway.
"Hey Annie. Hey Claire." T said.
"Annie, Claire. Sup." Prism said.
"What are you two doing here?" Claire said.
"Well, remember how I said I had some news for you? Well, Candy and I finally started talking again and she said she wanted me to give you this." Prism said as he handed Claire a note scratched on a napkin.
"Meet Me At Sugar Cube Corner Tomorrow at 1:00 PM "
*Earlier*
Prism trotted down town, in a hurry to talk to somepony about what he considered a "something important". As he trotted down the streets of ponyville, he accidentally bumped into some pony.
"Oops! Sorry ma'm! Didn't see you the- ......!" Prism said as he helped the lady up. Then he was cut off only to find a simple Cotton Candy with a load of clothing on.
"P-Prism! I-I..... Um...... I can explain!" Candy said.
"Candy!"
"Please don't blow my cover!!!"
"Oh! And NOW you decide to talk! Bye Candy." Prism said, trotting away huffily.
"Prism..... I.... I'm sorry!" Candy said. Prism stopped.
"I shouldn't have been so rotten to you."
"Excuse me? You shouldn't be apologizing me." Prism said, turning so that she could see his face.
"Oh yeah! I-I forgot!" Candy stuttered.
"Oh yeah? Well why don't we talk when you remember who you are supposed to apologize to." Prism said as he was about to fly away when Candy caught his tail in her mouth.
"Wait! Just give 'her' this!" Candy said as she scratcher something on a napkin she pulled out of a handbag she had on her shoulder. "Please give her this." Prism reluctantly took the napkin and flew away.
*Present*
"Hmph. Like I would want to see somepony who forgot about me when apologizing." Claire said huffily.
"Claire...." T said as he put one of his claws on her shoulder. "Your right T. I guess I will do it." Claire said.
"Well, I do have someplace to be. So, I'll she ya later, Claire." Prism said as he gave Claire a peck on the cheek and flew out.
"Hmmm... What were you two talking about, T?" Annie said, this being her first words since coming in the house.
"Well.... That's not not important right now." T said.

Sorry this took so long. I've been on deviantart a lot more lately, and I've also been working on a new story. Also, school has started for me so I probably won't get these chapters in one after another. Any typos or anything, please leave in the comments.
