Darkness, there cannot be darkness without light… but without light, there is only the void.
Ponyville, home to the Elements of Harmony and Princess Twilight Sparkle… but she's not the focus, now is she? Fluttershy, Ponyville's local vet and the Element of Kindness, was heading to the library to meet with Twilight when she stumbled upon a lone filly stumbling out of the Everfree forest, bloodied and battered.
Doing what any pony should do, she grabbed the filly and flew her to the hospital where she was swiftly taken care of, but when the filly woke up… she was scared out of her mind and tried to fight her way out, when Fluttershy calmed her down and asked her what happened.
Fluttershy too, was horrified to learn what she had been through.
