Have you ever heard of Hearts and Hooves Day? That's a special holiday in Ponyville when ponies send valentines to other ponies. Some lucky ponies even find their own very special somepony. If you look carefully at the Mane 7, all of the ponies have special someponies, all except for Mint Paste. She's more of a nerd pony compared to a pony who loves to read, harvest apples, throw random parties, being kind to animals (and being shy), fashion creator, or even creating a "Sonic Rainboom". Plus, everypony else teases her except her friends... ...and MAYBE another pony?

One night, Mint Paste was taking a stroll through Flower Park on a sidewalk. Another sidewalk was to the left of her. As she was walking, she heard a sob, coming from a random mare or stallion on a bench. She flew over to where he or she was, and found a dark blue pegasus stallion that seemed to be lonely. He was a nerd pony, also. He had a mane that was similar to her brother Skyth's mane, except it was green and had a blue streak. He also had the same tail as Skyth, too. She asked this to him: "What's your name?" "Blue Sparks. What's your name?" he sadly responded. "Mint Paste," she responded back to Blue Sparks. "Hi," he spoke, finally beginning to cheer up. "Hi!" Mint Paste spoke back to him. "You're a lovely mare," he spoke like a normal stallion would. "Thanks!" she spoke back. Mint Paste was now daydreaming about this stallion she recently met.
