The Stoner And The Ponies
Matt and his friends were sitting around his living room just chilling as per normal. There was nothing out of the ordinary. His friends made the same lame references, the same generic anime was on the TV, and the same bong was being loaded. But, There was something different though. This wasn’t the same weed he usually bought, nor did he get from the same person.
“Bro,” his friend Arasaka began, “I don’t think this is weed. It’s all blue and leafy, where did you get it?”
“I can’t really remember. It definitely wasn’t Dave, I know that for sure.” Matt replied.
“If you can’t even remember an hour ago you seriously need to cut back on the bud.” Codie said.
“No wait, I just remembered something about them. They had this crazy black and white striped Mohawk and spoke in rhymes.” Matt said.
“Rhymes?” Codie asked?
“Yeah, you know, like Dr. Seuss.”
“Dr. Seuss?” Arasaka asked.
“Just load the bowl!”
“Fine, here.”
Matt grabbed the bong from Arasaka and sat it in between his knees like normal…
He struck his lime green Bic mini-lighter like normal…
He touched the flame to the leaves like normal…
He inhaled the smoke like normal…
He coughed in an abnormally high pitch…
He kept coughing, and coughing, and coughing, and coughing…
“Hey dude, are you alright?” Codie asked.
The only response was more coughing.
Suddenly a blue light appeared around his body almost like an aura. It began growing brighter and brighter until it and Matt blinked out of existence.
When Matt finally stopped coughing he opened his eyes and looked around. He was outside but nothing around him looked familiar. He was facing a dark forest that seemed to turn the bright sunny day to cloudy restless night the further he looked in. He turned around and saw a small village in the near distance. Going with the flow of things, he decided to set forth and check it out.
He pulled out a blunt of normal weed and lit it. Walking along he admired the scenery; it was way prettier than his hometown. The colors seemed to pop out and everything was so lush and alive.
Once he arrived at the entrance of the village he flicked away the blunt roach just in case there were cops here, and kept heading in. What he found was not what he expected at all. The village seemed to be populated by waist-high colorful horses that all seemed to give a weird glance and avoid him.
“Okay, this is definitely not normal…”
