No one knows exactly where he came from, or by what means he came to Equestria. However, the facts remain. He is evolved well for the task at hand, no pun intended. His physique in tandem with full sapience he is a nearly perfect predator. It would appear though, unlike most predators known to ponydom, he seems to be able to become invested enough in other beings. Unfortunately these relationships are mostly shallow and tend to only be present when he has some form of gain. I hope Luna is correct, the fate of Ponyville may rely on him.
