Sweet Apple Acres: The perfect farm, hosting an almost perfect family, with all its members living together in harmony. Despite all the hard work tossed at them every day, the Apple family perfectly gets along with each other, as well as with everypony else.

But things haven't always been as cheerful as this. Throughout their history, which lead through all kinds of different places in Equestria, the Apples have always experienced more or less fortunate times.

But there was only ever one that put them into a particularly bad light. One they don't like to talk about to anyone.

Sometimes, however, breaking the silence becomes the necessary thing to do. And when her sister discovers some relics from that certain time period, Applejack realizes there's no way for her to get around a serious discussion.
