Jason is a small man for his age, only 4"8. He was valuable for his height, however. He could crawl through vents, and nimbly climb though small spaces. He had black greasy hair, and wore a grey jacket. He had a white shirt and blue jeans, with black and white sneakers. His face was pretty normal, with a never changing frown on his face. Almost never changing, to be exact. He was normal, just his parents were dead in a ditch somewhere. He lost his parents when he was sixteen, fast-forward three years, he's running the rooftops.
It was an average day for him, running from the police. Two years ago, they had set up a no running policy. It was illegal because the rooftops were used as places where anyone can find shootings and drug deals, as well as information on popular gangs. Alleyways were also used in the same fashion, but roofs were very popular.
But, he had not expected a bullet to pierce his chest. It was shocking, so he missed a jump and fell in what felt like slow motion. He could see the light shining over the alleyway but the light faded and the sounds dulled as he hit the ground and broke his neck.

Papers scattered as he connected with a dirty mattress, waking and getting up. He looked around at his surroundings. Birds flew overhead, but it was night. Dirty brick walls were all around him, and some windows with chain-link fences near them were in the area. Dumps and trash cans littered the area, with rats scurrying away from him. A rope lie in a coil on the ground, with rigging and paint buckets near it. Some spray paint cans were scattered beneath a graffiti drawing of a peace sign. A piece of paper stood out on the ground, however. He looked at it, before grabbing it.

This was a bit of a surprise, he had never seen talking ponies. He looked around him and noticed an odd shape in the darkness. A dark bug-like pony looked at him. She had green hair and a black carapace. The bug spoke, "So you are the negative emotion creature I detected?" He blinked and looked at it with confusion. "Hey! Listen! We don't have much time! I'm Princess Chrysalis, and I am offering you something. Those ponies are evil. They want to control the entire world by brainwashing everyone in this world!" She quickly told him. "You've got a choice, learn how these ponies work and join me, or join the ponies that will force the world to think about one mindset. I'll give you some time, but only twenty hours!"
He was shocked, but had no time to answer as Chrysalis disappeared into the shadows. She left a device on the ground, which had a button on the side. It fit into his ear snugly, and he pressed the button, causing it to vanish. He questioned this, but left it out of his thoughts, it probably was just invisible. He moved on and noticed another item Chrysalis left, a backpack with some supplies in it. It seemed bottomless, and was almost weightless. Inside he found things he would need to survive. The Elements Of Harmony: A Reference Guide, which was odd, a scythe, some black cord-like rope, and survival supplies. Including a lighter with a bottle of oil for it. All in all, the most useful would be the scythe if the ponies were as bad as he was told.
Though, he would have to sneak into the castle. He had a map, thankfully. The map had a note on a town called Ponyville. It said,"CAKE!"
It was an odd message, but he got it anyway. There was likely a bakery the pony whom made this map liked, so he or she marked it. He quickly gathered his bearings and equipped his backpack. Grabbing a wall, he looked over at the one opposite to him and performed some wall jumping, this quickly resulted him being atop a roof, which was tiled. Unluckily, this would make his running slower and force him to go very slow.
Thankfully, the tiles were sturdily in place. He jumped, climbed, snuck, and ran across roofs, making little noise. He was quickly able to reach the castle, which had pony guards all around. He decided to enter over the walls. (Please note that this universe holds absolutely different architecture from the show, I just had no room for Alt Uni tag. Back to story.) A guard wasn't looking as he crept over the edge of the wall. He took care of the guard by covering his mouth and ramming the wood bit of his scythe into his head, knocking him out.
Next, he crept up some stairs into a guard tower and knocked out the archer guard inside. He stuck his head down the stairs and saw some guards playing poker with their hooves. He decided to exit the tower and climb down into the courtyard. He swiftly snuck past the guards and entered the castle through a window. Entering a vent, he prowled around, looking for the room marked on his map. He got to the room and found out there was no entrance through the vents. He exited the vent in the next room and hung onto it, looking down and seeing a sleeping guard in front of a locked door. A box sat on a table near him. It was locked too. Looking through his pack, he found a lockpick kit. Using the tools, he picked the lock on the box and took the silver key inside. Carefully, he woke the guard and knocked him out. Unlocking the door, he peeked inside and saw a lit room with treasure all around.
He quickly snuck through the shadows and followed the marker to a chest that was unlocked and had top secret documents inside. He heard a robotic voice in his ear piece, "Good, now grab the indicated EoH and get out!" His perception was altered and he could see an arrow pointing him toward a footlocker that had a locked case inside. He grabbed it and snuck out the door, locking it again and putting the guard and key back. He snuck through the vents and exited out the window, closing it and climbing back over the wall. He snuck into an alley and found his way into the sewers, which were marked by his new vision alteration.
He dropped down into the depths below...

A Darkness In Your Heart (WIP)
Jason's meeting with Chrysalis in the sewer had gone well, and now he sat atop a tower, perched with his scythe sheathed at his side. His Chain-Hook sat on his left side, and he watched the parade. It had gone to plan. He would stay atop his tower and drop a magic bomb on the Sisters' Float. This, in theory, would kill them and restore order to Equestria. What he didn't expect was for Agent Gilda to interfere.

"Gilda! Come in!"
"I've got him in my sights, Cel."
"Good! Take him out now!"
"He's too far, I have to get closer. My gun won't fire that far."
"Be careful!"
"I'm taking my shot!"
"NO!"

A bullet whizzed by Jason's head, causing him to jump off the tower. He landed in an office building, rolling to a stop. He quickly hid behind some boxes. Peeking over the boxes, he saw the sniper running away. No! Flying away! She flew at amazing speeds. But he had no time to stop and smell the gun powder, he had to escape the building!
