Rarity laid down and Alice laid down with her body wrapped around Rarity’s. They cheeks touched and Rarity knew her face was heating up.

“How’d you like the snow?” Alice asked her.

“It was amazing, but she would’ve loved it.” Rarity replied and she felt tears again. “I’m sorry; I shouldn’t be bringing her up so much.”

“Don’t say that, it brings more closure to talk about Sweetie Belle.” Alice replied as she pulled Rarity closer to her.

Alice nuzzled her cheek gently and looked at her.

“You are amazing Rar, you work day to day without complaining even though you don’t get much of a break day to day, and you try your hardest to put on a smile.” Alice replied. “You do a lot better than I do.”

Rarity looked at Alice with a confused look.

“You never cry in front of a lot of people, and you never complain even though you’re on the front everyday since this whole thing started.” Rarity replied. “You’re the bravest, most passionate, and strongest mare I know.”

Rarity rolled over and rested her head against Alice’s shoulder. She took in a deep breath and smelt a thick scent of earth and sweat. Usually Rarity would’ve been disturbed by the smell earlier but now she had gotten used to it.

“Good night Rar.” Alice told her.

“Good night Ali.” Rarity replied.

Alice shot up with tear going down her face accompanied by the usual layer of sweat. She got to her feet and walked out of the tent slowly so to not wake Rarity and walked to the city gates. Alice let out her breath slowly and pushed open the gates slowly so not to alert anyone. She closed the gates gently and galloped across the bridge and along the city walls, she never strayed far from the wall, no one did. Alice stopped after the second time around the wall and was barely able to move when someone swung at her. The plank slammed into her shoulder and she staggered sideways as someone stabbed her in the side. She cursed before slamming into the person who had stabbed her. The person who hit her first cracked the plank across her front legs and she collapsed. Soon, all the attackers started to lay in her at once and after an hour they dragged her into the forest. She tried to get up but she ended up collapsing and blacking out.

Rarity shot up and ran out of her tent and almost collided with Applejack.

“Where’s Alice?” She asked her.

“She isn’t with you?” Applejack asked her.

“No, I just woke up and she was gone.” Rarity replied.

Applejack nodded and they both ran towards the town center where everyone was already waiting and talking to each other.

“We have something to tell everyone.” Applejack told them and everyone quieted down. “Alice has gone missing.”

This renewed the uproar and Applejack rubbed her temples. Rarity let out her breath as she felt herself get angrier.

“Everypony shut up!” Rarity yelled and everyone looked at her. “Here’s an idea, instead of talking about, we go try to find her. I give it that she has been gone for 2 hours judging by the heat from the pillows. So we might have one to a few hours depending on what happened to her.”

“Derpy, Fluttershy and I will take to the sky with Vynle Scratch and Whooves.” Rainbow Dash replied.

“Big Mac and I will go to the forest and search there.” Applejack replied.

“Scoots and I will look close to the wall.” Applebloom replied.

Rarity nodded as Applejack hugged her tightly.

“We’ll find her.” Applejack replied. “You just sit tight, if they end up somehow getting you I don’t know what will happen.”

Rarity nodded as Pinkie Pie walked up to her.

“Why don’t we go prepare dinner?” Pinkie Pie asked her.

Rarity nodded as she watched the three groups exit the gates before following Pinkie Pie to the mess tent.

“She’ll be alright, she’s tough and I have the highest hopes that she’s alright.” Pinkie Pie told her.

“Usually if she leaves during the night she’s back before anyone wakes up.” Rarity replied.

Pinkie Pie hugged Rarity tightly and they just stood there for awhile before continuing to the mess tent.
