Ouija Matrix, a student from the east coast with a vast knowledge of the paranormal, moves across the country to CHS with his father and younger sister, shortly meeting Sunset Shimmer and the gang on his first day. After a run-in with the Dazzlings, Sunset explains to him about their abuse of magic and their humiliating defeat at the battle of the bands a month prior to his arrival. Later on, the Dazzlings get a hold of a creepy-looking black book and accidentally summon a mob of demons to terrorize the school.

Little did Sunset and the gang know about Matrix is that he possessed abilities as well and reveals an agency that combats violent spirits like these all the time. That agency is known as Spectrapol.

The crossover tag is used for borrowing powers and setting from Bleach and demons from the Shin Megami Tensei series.
