//-------------------------------------------------------// The Gang Tells Scary Stories -by ilikepie56- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Intro //-------------------------------------------------------// Intro “Well girls,” Twilight said looking out her castle's window.  “Looks like the rain won't let up any time soon.  You should just spend the night here.” “But what are we going to do,” asked Pinky Pie.  “I'm not even tired yet!  I can't sleep if i'm not tired.  Heck, I can't even sleep when I am tired.” “I have an idea,” Applejack chimed in.  “Why don't we tell some spooky stories.” “That sounds like a fantastic idea,” said Rarity.  “I haven't heard a scary story in ages!” “Um,” whimpered Fluttershy.  “I don't think I want to be a part of this.  Maybe I'll just take the rain and head back for now.”  Fluttershy slowly backed away towards the door.  The moment she opened it, a big flash of lightning struck and booming thunder echoed across Ponyville.  Fluttershy slammed the door in fright and ran back in.  “On second thought, maybe stories aren’t too bad.” “Well it looks like it's settled,” said Twilight.  “Scary stories it is!  I'll go make some hot chocolate real quick.”  Twilight shuffled off and within a few minutes she came back with six mugs of steaming hot chocolate.  “So,” she said passing out the mugs.  “Who's first?” “Well obviously we should save the best for last,” said Rainbow Dash in her usual cocky tone and flying out of her chair.  “So I won't be going first.” “Why did you answer if your not going first?”  Said Twilight with a smirk.  Rainbow Dash opened her mouth but no words came out.  She floated begrudgingly back down to her chair. “I'll go first, y’all,” said Applejack pushing her hat up.  “I've got a good story the Apple Family's been passing down for generations.” “Alright then,” Twilight said clapping her hooves together.  “Applejack's story first.  Let's hear it!”  Twilight turned off the lights and put a dim lantern in the middle of the table.  The six all sat down and prepared for a long night.
