Chapter 2 The beginning before the end

Twilight Sparkle sighed as she laid the last box of her books down in her  new bedroom. Twilight collapsed on her back on her bed.

The room was okay she had everything she wanted a desk  with her new laptop on it new books that she asked for for Christmas as well as the laptop , and a brand new chemistry set that was still in one of the boxes. Several books laid about on the desk including the one she was currently reading. The big bang theory .

Twilight was the "science nerd" that was what people called her back in Philadelphia. There was a sudden knock Twilight quickly sat up.

"Come in." Twilight said the door opened revealing Twilight's step sister in law Cadence. It was already late when Twilight arrived at her brother's place. Twilight lives with Cadence and her brother Shining Armor. Her parents work all over so they were left in charge of Twilight until Twilight decides what to do after high school. Cadence walked in smiling. Twilight gave her a smile as she stood up and walked  over to her. The two greeted each other in there special hand shake. The two sang together .

"Sunshine sunshine laddie bugs awake clap your hands and give a little shake!"  They both hugged then sat down on Twilight's bed.

"So are you ready for Crystal prep?" Cadence asked . Twilight sighed.

"Yeah i'm just a little nervous about meeting new students." Twilight said.

"You'll be fine Twilight I know that you're shy but at least try and make a few friends   this is your high school life after all. So make the best of it." Cadence said.

"Reminds me of when I met you ." A new voice entered the room. Shining Amour stood in the door way greeting the two girls with a flashback.

"Yeah Sophomore year during the friendship games Ha ha that was a day to remember." Cadence said blushing a little.

"Yep you were running beside me during the track event, but you clumsily tripped over your shoelace that wasn't tied and collided into me." Shining Armor said smiling.

"Wow so you guys knew each other since high school?" Twilight said.

"Pretty much friendship can be powerful once you meet people that will be involved in your life don't worry I know you'll make friends it just takes time."  Cadence said.

"She's right kiddo you'll be fine just believe in yourself and you will be okay ." Shining Armor said.

"Thanks guys I fell a little better now." Twilight smiled and adjusted her black glasses.

"Well you better get to bed you have a big day tomorrow. Oh speaking of the Friendship games  they're coming up soon so you're just in time start  thinking of what event you want to be involved in ." Shining Armor said as Cadence stood up and walked towards the door.

"Okay I will." Twilight said. Cadence turned off the light and shut the door as Twilight got under her warm
