She walked in and was greeted with the students conversations that were echoing throughout the cafeteria. Pinkie Pie yelled Sunset's name and she walked over to them. Everyone was all smiling at her including the newest member of the group. The human version of Princess Twilight herself. She played with her hair as Sunset sat beside her Twilight blushed when she started talking to her. "H.. Hi Sunset H.. how was your morning?" Twilight asked as she adjusted her black glasses. "Good are you okay Twilight your acting strange did Flash Sentry asked you out?" Sunset said teasingly as she elbowed Twilight's arm giving her a push. "No he tried but I turned him down." Twilight said . Everyone was shocked at the news. Twilight talked to Flash ever since she came to Canterlot High. "I thought you were into him why did you turn him down?" Sunset asked. "Ummm... Well... I..." Twilight couldn't tell her at least not here with everyone else. After her defeat Twilight realized that she went to far, and after she learned that Sunset Shimmer went through the  same ordeal the poor girl fell for the knight and shining armor that saved her life from turning to the dark side. "I ... just... i'm not ready for a relationship that's all. I want to wait till I go to college then i'll think about romantic relationships." Twilight quickly said as she felt another blush on her face. Pinkie Pie instantly got close to Twilight and made a face. Twilight whimpered and almost fell back until Sunset caught her in time. The two looked in each other's eyes and they both blushed. "Not ready huh?" Pinkie Pie said crossing her arms as she starred at the two girls awkwardly  position. "Ha if Sunset was standing it would look like..." Rainbow Dash said as AJ stepped on her foot to silence the girl. "What was that for!" Rainbow said cursing as she took off her shoe and rubbed her now sore foot. "I ain't tellin you should know yer self." Aj said in her southern accent and took a bite of her salad. Rarity and FlutterShy also looked at the two girls who just continued to stare in each others eyes it wasn't until a familiar voice was heard from behind. "Hey guys i'm ..." Princess Twilight stopped as she saw her counterpart and Sunset Shimmer looking into each others eyes "What's going on?" Princess Twilight said. The two broke there position and quickly sat up. "Its not what it looks like!" Twilight said and she got up. Twilight started to cry then she ran out of the cafeteria. "Sunset Shimmer whats going on?" Princess Twilight said blushing now. Well crap I don't even know myself. Sunset  thought to herself.Sunset sighed, and looked up at her friend. Sunset gulped as she blushed when princess Twilight sat by her. Sunset started to like Twilight more than just a best friend. She started to look at her more romantically. Sunset shook  her head  that's not even possible! She can't just fall in love with Princess Twilight!! She lives in Equestria and she lives in the human world. Of course if things did turn out, then they could always write letters to each other, but they already do that and she can't even go back to Equestria herself since she's probably banned. "Hey Sunset Shimmer are you there?" Rainbow said as she kept snapping her fingers until Sunset came back into reality. "Huh?" Sunset said. The girls giggled. "Ummm ... I think you caught princess Twilight's fall." Flutershy said. Sunset was confused. I caught her.... Sunset looked down and in her lap laid the unconscious girl. Sunset started to panic. How did this happen I didn't even fell her fall plus how did she ..." Sunset thought until Pinkie Pie told her. "She was walking to sit by you then she tripped over her own feet." Pinkie said while laughing. Well shit I have two Twilights to deal with now. Sunset sighed as she looked at the sleeping Twilight she must of decided to sit by her instead of sitting by the others. Sunset wanted to go talk to Princess Twilight's counter part but she also wanted to tell Princess Twilight how she fells about her. Rarity gave a little cough to speak. "Dear why don't you go talk to Twilight first your the only one who can calm her down." Rarity said everyone else agreed. There was a few times where Twilight had a few break downs for different reasons the five girls tried to help but the only one who could help her was Sunset Shimmer. "Yeah I guess i'll go talk to her you guys mind watching princess Twilight for me?" Sunset said. The girls nodded , and Rainbow Dash came over to Sunset. Rainbow  picked up the girl and laid her on her shoulder. "Don't worry i'll keep an eye on her till she wakes up. You better go calm Twilight down. Rainbow said. Sunset stood up and was about to leave util Pinkie Pie made her blush. "Make sure you kiss her." Pinkie said. Sunset's face was red now. Thanks a lot Pinkie . Sunset walked down the halls of Canterlot High. She knew where Twilight would be. She climbed the stairs to the two story library.  Sunset made her way to the balcony area and found Twilight crying in a corner. Sunset approached the girl and placed a hand on her shoulder. Twilight looked up at Sunset and she wiped her tears away and she put her glasses back on. "Oh Sunset Shimmer i'm sorry I broke down again didn't I?" Twilight said. Sunset sat down beside her , and motioned the girl to lay on her shoulder and Twilight just turned her head avoiding Sunset's gesture. "What's wrong Twi? You've been avoiding me all week did I do something to make you upset?"  Sunset said. Twilight shook her head and sighed. It's now or make Sunset Shimmer not like me anymore which could be as equal depending on the result. Its been a few months since the battle of the bands. Sunset Shimmer scribbled notes down not class notes but more like magical formulas. If everyone pony ups by playing music and I pony up by sining then..... "Miss Shimmer!" Sunset looked up and saw a upset Mrs. Cherrlie . "Ahem he he uh 25 ?" Sunset smiled hopefully to give her another chance. Mrs. Cheerlie pointed to the door. Sunset sighed and stood up and walked outside into the hallway. After some sulking A familiar voice caught her attention. "Oh man why do I have to do this? I hate spying." Sunset looked up and smiled. "Hey Twilight you're back already?" The girl froze as her name was called. Sunset starred at Twilight and blushed. "Oh ... Um this is awkward." Sunset said as she looked closely at Twilight. "How.. How do you know me?" Twilight said quickly backing up . "This was a trap they set me up ohhh." Twilight started to cry and was about to run away until Sunset caught her arm. "Hey I wont hurt you. You just look like one of my friends ." Sunset  said. Twilight  turned but she quickly lost her balance. Sunset quickly caught the girl just in time before she fell. Twilight looked up at Sunset and quickly blushed Sunset however picked her up and hugged her. "I ... I'm sorry I just needed to hug you you just look like her and theres so much I need to thank her for." Sunset said still hugging Twilight. Twilight was still blushing and coughed. Sunset pulled back and smiled. "I I have to go." Twilight said runing away from Sunset. Latter that night "She smelled like her to. Lavender and her hair was so soft." Sunset blushed as she muffled under her pillow. "I wonder why I haven't seen her before maybe shes new? Is she the human counter part of Princess Twilight?Sunset  said to herself as she yawned. "Oh well tomorrow is a big day anyway." Twilight collapsed on her back on her bed. The room was okay she had everything she wanted a desk  with her new laptop on it new books that she asked for for Christmas as well as the laptop , and a brand new chemistry set that was still in one of the boxes. Several books laid about on the desk including the one she was currently reading. The big bang theory . Twilight was the "science nerd" that was what people called her back in Philadelphia. There was a sudden knock Twilight quickly sat up. "Come in." Twilight said the door opened revealing Twilight's step sister in law Cadence. It was already late when Twilight arrived at her brother's place. Twilight lives with Cadence and her brother Shining Armor. Her parents work all over so they were left in charge of Twilight until Twilight decides what to do after high school. Cadence walked in smiling. Twilight gave her a smile as she stood up and walked  over to her. The two greeted each other in there special hand shake. The two sang together . "Sunshine sunshine laddie bugs awake clap your hands and give a little shake!"  They both hugged then sat down on Twilight's bed. "So are you ready for Crystal prep?" Cadence asked . Twilight sighed. "Yeah i'm just a little nervous about meeting new students." Twilight said. "You'll be fine Twilight I know that you're shy but at least try and make a few friends   this is your high school life after all. So make the best of it." Cadence said. "Reminds me of when I met you ." A new voice entered the room. Shining Amour stood in the door way greeting the two girls with a flashback. "Yeah Sophomore year during the friendship games Ha ha that was a day to remember." Cadence said blushing a little. "Yep you were running beside me during the track event, but you clumsily tripped over your shoelace that wasn't tied and collided into me." Shining Armor said smiling. "Wow so you guys knew each other since high school?" Twilight said. "Pretty much friendship can be powerful once you meet people that will be involved in your life don't worry I know you'll make friends it just takes time."  Cadence said. "She's right kiddo you'll be fine just believe in yourself and you will be okay ." Shining Armor said. "Thanks guys I fell a little better now." Twilight smiled and adjusted her black glasses. "Well you better get to bed you have a big day tomorrow. Oh speaking of the Friendship games  they're coming up soon so you're just in time start  thinking of what event you want to be involved in ." Shining Armor said as Cadence stood up and walked towards the door. "Okay I will." Twilight said. Cadence turned off the light and shut the door as Twilight got under her warm Covers. "Yeah everything will be just fine." Twilight mumbled before drifting off to sleep.
