~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~[Prologue]
I woke up on a cold morning. The date today was December 1st, 2013. I got out of bed and checked the clock, which read 6:30. Perfect. I got out of bed and put on my walking clothes. I went through my stuff and grabbed a flashlight, a chocolate bar, and my watch. I went downstairs and got some cereal. While I was eating, my brother came down and asked, "Going on another morning walk?"
"Yup."
He got some bread and sat down. I finished my cereal and put my bowl in the sink. I walked out the door and started walking. I took my usual route, first walking by the supermarket, then the school. I then walked through the park. All the sudden I saw something that made me stop. One of the trees was glowing on the other side. I walked around and saw a weird portal, glowing in all the colors of the rainbow. "Weird.", I said. I thought hard about this. After 5 minutes of thinking, I made my decision. I walked through the portal. As soon as I walked through, I looked all around and saw darkness. But I was standing on something. I looked back and saw the the park through the portal. Then the portal started closing. I ran for it but something was holding me back. The portal closed, and all of the sudden I wasn't standing. I was falling. I looked down and saw a whole world below me. But it looked a bit different. The last thing I saw before blacking out was a town, and a giant mountain. I had no idea what to expect.
