Author's Note
This is just a one day story thing I wanted to do because it just randomly popped into my head. I just wanted to see how long it would take me to write a story from beginning to end in one chapter. I'm not a big fan of this once, but I at least want to see what you guys think.
Lazy day
The element bearers, more commonly know as the main 6 plus spike on the streets of Ponyville and sometimes the Crystal Empire, all stand side by side staring at the map as their cutie marks float above the very town that they live in. The conclusion came from everyone, mainly Twilight the "elected" princess of friendship as her title now stands for, and they agreed with vigor that this mean that they finally get their friendship break that they've all been waiting for. Twilight smiles, moves back, plops down on her chair, and lets out a long drawn out sigh of fulfillment.
"I never thought this day would come." Rainbowdash says flying to her chair and laying down in it in what looks like a very uncomfortable sleeping position but proves to Rainbowdash that it is very comfortable.
No matter what the town folk say, the castle is very comfortable to all the elements. Even more so surprising is that Spike also finds his, slave, seat to be as comfortable as the rest of them. Of course Twilight reminded him that he's not allowed to sit in any other ponies seat except hers or else something might happen to the elements and their magic. Twilight doesn't really think anything like that will happen, but she does like putting things in her seat to troll Spike into laying down onto them. She internally smiles and looks towards Spike.
After all, her mentor taught her everything she needed.
"So we're just meaning to kick it back and rest up from all our adventuring and junk?" Applejack asks taking her seat.
"Would imagine so. Perhaps I could take this time and better my craft." Rarity says thinking up lazy wear for each and every one of them for this occasion incase it happens again.
Though she'll have to design something more to Applejack's liking. Breezy, flexible, and very very durable for all of her... hard life decisions. Honestly. She can't understand how a girl that was brought up partly in youth in Manehattan can come out so. She glances towards Applejack. Rough is the word she is thinking of.
"That's all fine by me!" Rainbowdash says loudly stretching out her body, "Just as long as I get some very well deserved rest."
Fluttershy nods her head sheepishly as she takes her seat.
"I... I could use some as well... the animals have been... active of late." Fluttershy wincing as a distant memory starts rising up in her head.
"Really? How come?" Twilight asks her curiosity piqued.
Lately Twilight has been learning a lot about all the different animals and all of their different attributes. They're all but a bunch of unknown creatures only those who have real interest in them know about. Twilight glances towards Rarity as Fluttershy starts up her talk about how all the animals are starting to hit their heat cycle and they're become a little bit too touchy feely. "Heh. Sounds like me!" Rainbow says with a large smile.
"Yes it does." Rarity says playing with her hair, "You are quite smaller than the rest of us aren't you."
Rainbowdash tsks and looks toward Rarity with a bland face, "Well I don't want a big flank to throw off all of my acrobatics. I'm bigger where it counts."
"Your ego?" Applejack asks with a smirk.
Pinkie giggles from her seat, "This is why we're the bestest of bestest friends! We get along so well!"
"That's it! Maybe the map wants us to become better friends!" Twilight says straitening herself, "Spike. Leave us for a bit. Me and the girls have to better our friendship."
"Awww. But shouldn't I be here too? After all, I'm part of the gang as well." Spike complains wanting to become more buddy buddy with Rarity.
"Sorry. But the map called for only us six. We're already such good friends with you that you don't need this exercise. We need to become better friends and become stronger." Twilight says trying to explain it to him.
"Oh... right! Because no one is more friendly than good old Spike! Well I'll just leave it to you guys! I'm a go see Big Mac and ask he what he thinks about the upcoming game!"
"You go do that Spike Wikey." Rarity says ruffling his soft top spikes, "We'll be here trying to get to know one another better again."
"Alright! Have fun you six!" Spike says leaving out the door and closing it behind him.
"You too Spike. And make sure my brother doesn't tackle a hole the barn like last time!" Applejack yells after him.
"So. Are we doing it again?" Rarity asks cocking a eyebrow at Twilight.
"Yeah. It's so damn lonely inside of this big place. I've been thinking of hiring some folk, but I don't want to end up like Celestia where I just start trolling everyone just to remind myself what fun is." Twilight says rolling her eyes, "Than there's the problem of that Celestia eventually want me to take on an student of my own. I tried explaining to her how I'm learner and not a teacher, but her response was. Ahem. 'Than learn how to become a teacher'"
"Well than. Celestia has really gone silent with us hasn't she? Usually she'd contact us in some sort of manner or at least visit us to check on us. But things have been really quiet from her." Rarity says getting up from her seat.
"Well." Twilight starts slouching in the chair, "Things in Canterlot have really turned... drastic. A lot of the poor noble families want something done about the higher ups cause they're abusing their power. So right now Luna, Celestia, and I are suppose to be looking into it. "
"Than why aren't you up there with'em?" Fluttershy asks.
"Mostly cause they said that if I show myself moving around helping out less fortunate and making friends in the smaller villages that it would quench their fires a bit." Twilight says getting up and walking to the wall behind her chair.
She uses her magic and a panel slides up showing off a bunch of different assortment of liquors and alcoholic drinks. She takes a bottle with a crescent moon on it and a shot glass. She takes a shot and holds it up in the air with her magic.
"I recently restocked while Rainbow and Pinkie were off to the griffon's place. I really wish they hadn't gone to shit. Even if you didn't take notes or pictures I was hoping you'd bring back one of their fine drinks." Twilight says making way as the other girls grab up drinks and doing shots along with Twilight.
"Yea. At least I made up with Gilda." Rainbowdash says gliding in the air with a small bottle of red liquid with a picture of a muscular stallion on the front, "I really wish we could've came back and burnt the place to the ground."
"Now that's not the friendship way!" Pinkie says bouncing around with a glass full of apple cider, "Besides, I left that her a little gift for when she came back."
"Oh. Is that why you left before the train showed up?' Rainbow asks sitting down on the table.
"Maaaaybe!" Pinkie says child like as she bounces on top of Rainbowdash.
"Alright guys. So how do we want to get this bonding session started?" Twilight asks after another shot.

Twilight nods her head several times before her horn lights up and captures the three listed in a magical glow. The change is fast and doesn't cause any pain.
