Luna mad about no nightlife... Nightmare Moon... Elements of Harmony... Banished...” Twilight reads to herself. She then wonders where she heard about the Elements of Harmony. Spike was resting peacefully on her back, enjoying the Canterlot scenery. "Spike~ This book I'm reading is quite interesting," she comments. "You say that about every single book Twilight." "But isn't it strange? This is the first book I have come across that remotely resembles something that could have happened in our vicinity!" Spike pulls out a sign that says "Story Progression" on it, looks at the camera, then stores the sign and returns to his resting position. "Yeah Twilight. You know, I think you should research this topic. Who knows what you'll find?" Spike winks at the camera. Twilight went into research mode. "You know what Spike? Let's do that!" Spike was unceremoniously thrown on top of Twilight's back. He held on tight as Twilight took off towards their tower study room with the book in her magical grip. They passed by their friends who were on their way to one of Moon Dancer's get togethers. Spike apologized as their friends were sent tumbling from Twilight's speed. "Sorry Twinkleshine! Sorry Lemon Drops! You know what it's like when Twilight gets in one of those modes!" The two Unicorn friends snickered then responded with some winks. "No problem! Good luck with the date!" Spike turned red. He and Twilight started dating when they were younger. Twilight confessed from her heart in a field during one Hearts and Hooves Day. "Spike, I know we're still young, but I've decided. I'm dedicating my life to you. You're younger than me and assigned to be my 'assistant'? No! Not any longer! From now on, you are my partner. You've been there for me, it's about time I do the same for you." And I thought I was going to have problems in the romance department because I'm a drake. (This is Spike's Color.) The purple duo arrives at the room, Twilight suddenly stops after entering, and Spike is sent flying into the bookshelf. The book Twilight needs drops to the ground. "Huh, how convenient~" She finds what she wanted to look up. "Elements of Harmony... see Mare in the Moon?" She grabs a book on said topic. "Mare in the Moon... old tale... Pony wanted to rule Equestria... Elements of Harmony Super Rainbow Blast... Longest Day 1000th year escape... *gasp* You know what this means Spike!" "That our great adventure has just begun?" "Most likely. Anyways, we need to let the Princess know about this!" Twilight wrote a short letter: “Teacher! Disaster awaits! The Mare in the Moon is Nightmare Moon and she is going to return and bring eternal night with it! We must stop her! I await your quick response, your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.” Spike uses his flames to send the letter. After thirty seconds of awkward silence between the couple, a response arrives via D-Mail. “My dearest student, I understand what you are saying, but seriously relax bro, I got this,” Spike began to read the response. “What?!” “Anyways, for your next task, I am sending you to supervise this year's Summer Sun Celebration in Ponyville. Sincerely, Princess Celestia.” "This princess..." Twilight noticed their place of residence for their time in Ponyville. "Huh, we get to stay in the Golden Oak Library. Maybe this could be the vacation we need, filled with cuddles! *squee*" "All in a day's work huh?" The two of them packed up for their trip then boarded the train to Ponyville. Transition to Ponyville. Spike and Twilight disembarked at their destination train station. Pinkie Pie coincidentally trotted into the scene and caught sight of them. Is that? It is! It really is them! Pinkie Pie gasps, jumps up, then tries to flee. Twilight had other ideas. She caught the pony by the tail with her magic. "Hey! No fair! This never happened in the Prime Universe!" Pinkie protested. Twilight pulled Pinkie Pie so that their muzzles were touching. Pinkie Pie smiled nervously and started sweating. "Sure it never happened there, we're in the Friendship is Spike Universe~ Now Pinkie Pie, our meeting has been years in the making, and here it is in Ponyville, face to face. I think that called for a party right? So how about it?" Pinkie Pie's nervous grin turned into a genuine smile. "You got it Twilight!" Twilight released her magical grip and the party pony zipped off to prepare said party. Spike was confused at how Twilight already knew one of the ponies in the town already, but didn't push any questions since he remembered how strange Twilight could be. Transition to Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack was harvesting apples from the orchard when she caught sight of Spike and Twilight approaching. Huh… Wait what?! That is him! And I was doubting him all this time! "Good Afternoon, my name is Twilight Sparkle," she greeted. "Howdy Twilight! We here at Sweet Apple Acres sure like making new friends!" Applejack tipped her stetson, wanting to make a good first impression. "This is Spike, my partner. I am here to supervise preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration, you are in charge of the food correct?" "Yep! Want to sample some?" "Um..." Applejack continued trying to make a good impression on Spike. "Oh! I know! Why don't I introduce you to the Apple Family?" Enter huge Apple Family. Twilight went wide eyed as Applejack introduced her family. "...Big Mac, Apple Bloom, and Granny Smith! Why Twilight, I'd say you're part of the family already," Applejack finished with a huge grin. Twilight wanted out. This was getting awkward. "Aha... Well I see the food situation is definitely handled here with all of you so we'll be on our way." The Apple Sisters enacted one of their plans. Applejack whispers into Apple Bloom's ear. Apple Bloom gave a wink and trots up to Twilight and puts on the puppy dog eyes of adorableness. Spike was flustered. "Aren't you gonna stay for brunch?" "I'm sorry, but we have a lot to do..." Twilight attempted. The puppy dog eyes intensified and broke Twilight's resolve. "Fine..." The Apple Family cheered. Twilight made her way to the table of apple treats with Applejack in tow. "So Twilight, where are you from?" Applejack asks. "I am from Canterlot," Twilight replies while digging into an apple pie. "Oh a city girl huh? That's mighty inter--" Twilight had the greatest sensation of taste ever. "Oh my goodness Applejack, these apple pies are the best!" Applejack hid her scowl from being interrupted and put on a smile instead, "You got that right there Twilight, these are the best apples in all of Equestria!" Twilight proceeds to devour an illogical amount of apple pies. Meanwhile, Apple Bloom talked with Spike. "So your name is Spike right?" Apple Bloom was eager to talk to someone new her age. Spike decided to humor her. "Yep! Partner and drakefriend to Twilight Sparkle!" Spike replies with pride to which Apple Bloom giggles at. Apple Bloom trots around Spike and brushes up against him making sure he gets a whiff of her sweet apple scent. She then flicks her tail at his nose causing the poor dragon to go red all over. The two of them continued to chat all while Apple Bloom was trying similar attempts to make Spike welcome. In the end, Twilight and Spike had to leave. Apple Bloom made sure to give Spike a goodbye hug. After the purple duo left, the Apple Sisters had a small chat. "Applejack, you're going to have to act on that promise now you know. You're going to share him with me." "Oh... *blushes*" Transition to Rainbow Dash segment. "Ugh... I ate too much pie," Twilight regretted. "Not my fault that you were so excited when you took your first bite of pie. Anyways, next is a Pegasus named Rainbow Dash who is supposed to be... cleaning... up... the clouds?" Spike answered while looking at the clearly cloud covered sky. Rainbow Dash, napping on a cloud, woke immediately. She heard her name, so she peeked over her cloud. She was met with a familiar sight. Huh? Wait what?! He wasn’t joking about that? I thought when he left he was was gone for good! She flew down, landed in front of the purple duo, and started speaking. "Did someone say my name? Was it you, awesome dragon?" "Uhhh... Yes it was. Spike's my name." "Say, Spike, you're awesome. I'm awesome. You see where I'm going with that?" Rainbow batted her eyes at Spike. "No, we don't? The skies are clearly not clean for one. By the way, name's Twilight Sparkle," Twilight mocked. "Well Twilight, I can clean this sky in ten seconds flat!" "Really? Prove it." Twilight should not have said that. She used her magic to conjure up a ten second countdown. "On your mark, get set, GO!" Rainbow Dash cleared the sky in seven seconds, avoiding a tarnished reputation. In the extra time she had, she used her "patented Rain-Blow Dry" to mess with Twilight's mane as the Unicorn was in a daze with her mouth agape at the feat she had witnessed. The timer Twilight conjured poofed out of existence. "What did I tell you? Ten Seconds Flat. I had some extra time so I decided to leave you a little present." Spike just snickered as Twilight looked up to see her mane in a considerably poofy state. "Ughhh!" "Yeah, see ya Spike and Twilight! You two sound like so much fun! Gotta Dash!" Rainbow Dash left, leaving her trademark rainbow trail. "She sounds fun, don't you think? Hey, don't feel so down, I think you look cute with that mane-do!" Twilight's ears perked up. "Really?" she asked. "Yep. But still, I kind of prefer your everyday mane-do, it's so much more you." "Dutifully noted." Transition to Town Hall. Twilight and Spike trotted/walked into the tall hall, impressed with the simplicity of the structure. "Alright Spike, we're at the Town Hall. A Unicorn named Rarity is supposedly here doing the decorations." "Not bad, the decorations are nice. Ah! That must be her now!" "Right you are Spike. *ahem* Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle and--" "Tut-tut, hold on a moment dear, I'm 'in the zone'~ And... there we go, hello there my name is Rarity and..." Rarity turned from working on decorations and saw Twilight's frazzled mane, "Wahaha! What happened to your coiffure?" "My mane? Oh yes... Rainbow Dash..." Twilight scowled. "Twilight, this just won't do! Let me take you back to my place, the Carousel Boutique, to fix you up and... Huh?!?!" Rarity caught a glance of Spike. I didn't even think that was possible... "Dragon? What's your name?" Rarity inquired. "My name is Spike!" Rarity went wide eyed. She snapped back to reality, put on a smile instead, and patted Spike on the head. "Well it's a pleasure to make you an acquaintance then Spike~ But for now I think we should get Twilight a mane fixing." Awkwardest conversation ever. Transition to Carousel Boutique. "So Twilight, where are you from?" Rarity asks Twilight as she is fixing up her mane-do. "I come from Canterlot," Twilight responded, "WAH!" Rarity was immediately in front of Twilight, eyes sparkling. "Canterlot? *squeals* The capital? We have got to talk about there sometime! All the fashion trends start there you know!" "Yes... I have noticed that Rarity." The two Unicorns and Spike proceeded to partake in small talk about Canterlot, Rarity deciding not to press the matter of what she thought when she first saw Spike. In the end, Rarity proved to be a good acquaintance. Transition to Fluttershy's Cottage. "Spike, our last stop will be with Fluttershy who is supposed to be doing the music." "Huh, a personality in a name, who'd have thought?" "Eh, we'll see." They trotted/walked a bit more. "There she is now!" Fluttershy was busy training birds to do the fanfare for Princess Celestia's arrival. At least until... "Hi! My name is Twilight Sparkle... and sorry to frighten your birds... and... you are?" "Um... my name is... *squeak*" "I'm sorry I didn't quite hear that." "My name is...*squeak*" Poor Fluttershy couldn't get her act together. Luckily for her, she didn't need to as her birds came back. "Well it seems your birds have come back so I guess we'll be going now." We? She's not alone? Fluttershy got her answer as Twilight turned around and saw someone familiar trailing her. Huh?!?! How?! I must…! "*GASP* Spike!" Fluttershy was immediately next to Spike. "Whoa!" Spike blurted. "Hi, I'm Fluttershy." "Um Hi? How do you know my name?" "Oh um... *squee* lucky guess?" Spike was reasonably suspicious, but let it slide for now. He and Fluttershy chatted as Twilight trotted home. One walk back to the Golden Oak Library later... Fluttershy realized that she was to help Pinkie Pie with a party for the duo she was talking to, so made up an excuse. "Oh, um... I have to go back to my animals now... okay bye!" she zipped off. She went to a secret entrance to the Golden Oak Library that Pinkie Pie was beckoning her over to. Twilight and Spike raised their eyebrows at that weird burst, but then went into the library and closed the door. "So Spike... that was awkward." Twilight turns on the lights after saying that. "Surprise!" "Here's your party like you asked!" Pinkie chirped. "Well... I guess we could take a break." They partied like it was 1000 years later from Nightmare Moon's banishment. Final Transition of the Episode. Everyone arrived at the Town Hall to witness the sunrise, the five acquaintances and one friend all crowded around Twilight and Spike. "Ooooo! Twilight! Are you this excited, since I sure am!" Pinkie nudged Twilight with a hoof. Twilight gave a closed-eyed smile. "Of course Pinkie Pie," she calmly responded. "Fillies and Gentlecolts... magic of sunrise... longest day of the year... INTRODUCING, PRINCESS CELESTIA!" The curtains opened and no one was there. A dark violet/blue mist rose and collected at where Celestia was supposed to be. It formed into the shape of an alicorn. Surprisingly, no one fainted or reacted. A small awkward silence ensued before the alicorn spoke up. "Oh, my beloved subjects, it's been so long, I think hardly any of you remember me." Nightmare Moon spoke. "Yeah, you're Nightmare Moon," Twilight nonchalantly spoke. "Well, someone who remember's me, I'm sure you know what I am here to do." "Yep." "Remember this day little ponies, for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night shall last FOREVER!" The sound of crickets chirping could be heard. Twilight was bored. She was holding Spike and rolling her eyes at this cheesy situation. Spike, her five acquaintances and one friend also shared her sentiment. TO BE CONTINUED... End Theme with Credits. S1E2: The Elements of Har(e)monyPREVIOUSLY, on MY LITTLE PONY. Twilight looked around at the five mares and one filly who were surrounding her and Spike. She could smell the "Main Character" trait wafting in the air. "You know girls, if you are that interested in being around me, I think it'd be nice that you help me with fixing this problem." There was a collective squee from said ponies. All eight of them went to the Golden Oak Library. Twilight explained the situation. "So, we need to find the Elements of Harmony. These are key to stopping Nightmare Moon who has returned after a now 1000 year banishing. The problem is I don't even know what these are!" "Here ya go Twilight! A Reference Guide to the Elements of Harmony," Pinkie pulled out the correct book from the bookshelf and handed it over. "Pinkie where did you find this?" Twilight replied surprised. "The story must go on~" Pinkie smiled. Twilight gave a unimpressed look at the camera, then started reading from the book. "There are six Elements, but only five are known: Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty and Loyalty." Obvious pan across the five other mares in the room. "The last known location of the Elements is the Castle of the Two Sisters in what is now the Everfree Forest... Hey! Would you look at that? A nice detailed map of the Everfree Forest! At least we won't have to be wandering around aimlessly," Twilight glared at the camera again. "Well, what are we waiting for? We have a daytime to bring back!" Pinkie Pie jumped up and exclaimed. Pinkie Pie attempted to dash out of the library, but Twilight used her magic again to hold her back. "Hey! What gives, Twilight?" Pinkie pouted for being magically grabbed by her for the second time. "This gives," Twilight motioned her gaze to Apple Bloom who had puppy dog eyes, "we have to take this filly home safely." Pinkie Pie squee'd. They took the adorable filly home to Sweet Apple Acres. The remaining seven all gave affirmative nods and departed for the Everfree Forest. Transition to the Everfree Forest. Following the map, the septet were able to skip going over a dangerous cliffside which would have been used had they gone with Twilight's knowledge rather than the book. They were now deep into the forest. "Ugh, my eyes need a rest from this icky muck..." Rarity complained. "That ancient ruin could be in front of our face and we wouldn't even know it!" Twilight exclaimed. There was then a collective scream from Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Spike. They were not happy to see these scary faces all around them. Pinkie Pie interestingly was not laughing at the faces. Since Spike was nearby, she equipped Spike and pulled his tail causing the dragon to go into flamethrower mode. She turned to Twilight who was armed and ready with her magic. The Unicorn and party pony gave a firm nod to each other and started dousing the scary faces with fire and/or magic. The remaining four ponies all shot glances at each other and opted not to intervene in the crazy duo's antics. The two ponies finished their scary face removing and gave each other genuine smiles. "That was fun wasn't it Pinkie Pie?" Twilight shot a wink at Pinkie Pie. "Mmhmm~" Pinkie returned the wink. Transition to a raging river. The septet approached the raging river caused by a Sea Serpent who had one side of his mustache cut off. Rarity would not have any of this. "It is a tragedy indeed Mr. Sea Serpent! We can't let you have this fashionable tragedy any longer!" Rarity exclaimed, "Spike, cut off my tail." "Isn't that a bit... sensitive? There is a reason your tail covers your..." "Just do it Spike!!!" Spike, flustered, complied. He got a claw out and sliced Rarity's tail short. Rarity fixed up the Sea Serpent's mustache using her tail hairs. He thanked them then made a bridge across the river out of his body, appreciative of the generosity shown. As they continued trotting in the forest, Twilight was perturbed at Rarity's short tail since reasons. "Rarity, I just happen to know a spell to regrow that tail of yours." Twilight spoke. "Oh darling, would you be so kind as to use it on me? Spike seems flustered." Twilight used the spell and Rarity's tail was good in no time. Transition to just outside the Castle of the Two Sisters. "There it is! The ruins that hold the Elements of Harmony! Now we just... cross this... bridge?" Twilight questioned, "How do we get across this?" "Duh~" Rainbow Dash pointed out Fluttershy and her own wings. They went down, grabbed the rope of the fallen bridge, and flew to the other side to tie it. At that moment, the Shadowbolts appeared and clouded up the scene so the rest of them couldn't see. The Pegasi duo wouldn't have any of it. The hostility shown was enough to make them go into fight mode. Simply put, the Shadowbolts were beaten to a pulp by the two of them. They ran off while they tied the other end of the bridge to the posts. They then flew back and gave each other a hoof bump. "All fixed!" Rainbow Dash reaffirmed. They trotted into the ruins and eventually up a fifteen story tower where they found five of the Elements. "Alright. Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, bring them down." They did so. "1, 2, 3, 4... 5? Where is the last one?" Rainbow Dash questioned. "Apparently, a spark is supposed to reveal the last Element," Twilight answered matter-of-factly. Nightmare Moon suddenly appeared in the middle of the Elements. "You think you can beat me?" She taunted. "I don't think so, I know so. Just try destroy the Elements," Twilight mocked. Nightmare Moon stomped which caused the Elements to shatter. "Say farewell to the daylight, the night shall last forever!!!" Nightmare Moon triumphantly exclaimed, thinking that she had won. "Bruh, you fail. The Elements are right over here," Twilight pointed out the five of her now friends. "Applejack is the Element of Honesty; Fluttershy is the Element of Kindness; Pinkie Pie is the Element of Laughter; Rarity is the Element of Generosity; Lastly, Rainbow Dash is the Element of Loyalty." The shards of the Elements all circled their respective character. "The spark of friendship creates the final Element! Magic!" The last Element appeared and then the Mane 6 proceeded to Rainbow Blast Nightmare Moon. When everything settled down, Twilight's friends all realized they had a necklace that each looks like their cutie mark while Twilight herself had a crown with her cutie mark on it. Nightmare Moon was no more than a blue alicorn. They didn't have much time as the tower was destabilized from the stomp earlier and started collapsing. Twilight acted fast, summoned up all her magic to grab all of them, then jumped out of a hole in the tower dragging everypony along. She realized her recklessness, and took action to fix it. She reached out and grabbed a whole bunch of leaves from trees nearby then piled it all below the eight of them. The landing was nice and soft. "Oooo! I bet in some other boring universe this didn't happen!" Pinkie Pie spoke with excitement. There was some initial confusion from that statement. After they dusted off, Twilight spoke up. "Thank you girls, I'm very sure we do represent the Elements of Harmony." "Indeed you do," Princess Celestia approached. "Princess Celestia!" all of the seven exclaimed and bowed down. "Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student, I knew you could do it." "But, you told me you got it," Twilight spoke. "I did. I sent you to Ponyville. But now for more serious matters. Princess Luna!" Princess Celestia turned to Luna. Princess Luna gasped. "It's been 1000 years since I have last seen you like this. It is time to put our differences aside. We were meant to rule together little sister," Celestia continued. "Sister?!" All but Twilight and Spike (who read the book) exclaimed. "Will you accept my friendship?" "I'm so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister!" Luna gave her older sister a tight hug. "I missed you too." Pinkie Pie blew her nose, sobbed, then spoke, "You know what this calls for?" Transition to Ponyville. "A party!" Pinkie finished. There was much celebrating as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna arrived on a chariot pulled by Pegasi guards. The septet were watching from the front of the crowd. Spike was next to Twilight as she gave him a loving nuzzle. Princess Luna got a flower lei from some Pegasus fillies and smiled at that. Princess Celestia then noticed Twilight was glum. "Why so glum Twilight?" Celestia asked. "I like it here in Ponyville. I feel like this might be my place," Twilight sadly replied. "Spike, take a note please. I, Princess Celestia hereby decree that the Unicorn Twilight Sparkle shall continue her studies from her new home in Ponyville." There was much cheering from her new friends. "Oh thank you, Princess Celestia! I'll study harder than before!" The cheering continued as the ponies partied. Just after noon, when all the partying finished, the purple duo was finally able to settle down into their new home in the Golden Oak Library. "Spike, that was fun wasn't it? Getting to take a look at the Everfree Forest and get a move on to Ponyville, I'd say that your guess of us going on a big adventure was right." "Mmhmm. I must say though, a lot of these events were convenient. You reading a book about the Elements of Harmony right when Nightmare Moon returns, being put in the Golden Oak Library, meeting five ponies who are now the Element bearers. Too convenient don't you think?" "I understand what you're saying... Wait, hold on a second... Speaking about the Elements of Harmony, didn't Princess Celestia use the Elements of Harmony to banish Nightmare Moon? How come when the Princess used it, the result was banishing? Shouldn't have the friendship of a sister be enough to bring Princess Luna back? Why was it us that brought her back?" "Whoa whoa whoa Twilight! Now is not the time to be deeply pondering the Season 1 Premiere! There will be many more Episodes to deeply interpret in the future. For now, let's get to the end of this Episode then we can discuss this... unless some other author wants to type up a story about this?" Spike winked at the camera. "Agreed." As they were doing some house cleaning, Twilight remembered to pen a letter to Moon Dancer, the Unicorn whose get together she was unabled to attend, but was on very good terms with ever since fillyhood: "Dear Moon Dancer, we deeply apologize for being unable to attend your get together. From the recent extended night, we know you understand. Apparently, Nightmare Moon is a real story. For some reason Princess Celestia thought it would be a good idea to send us to Ponyville. It worked out: Twilight caught up with an old friend, made new friends along the way, and of course fixed the problem of eternal night. Can you believe that Princess Luna is back? But we digress, we should still make it up to you. You're our best friend after all. So! Enclosed in this letter is the key to Twilight's tower study room in Canterlot. Yes! Twilight is giving you her house. You deserve the best after all. Where are we living? We're in the Golden Oak Library in Ponyville. It's an hollowed out tree, quite impressed with the architecture. You should visit sometime~ We would like your company. Well, thank you for understanding and we look forward to crossing paths again~ Lots of Love, Twilight Sparkle and Spike." Spike sent the letter on its way. Transition to Moon Dancer's home in Canterlot. Moon Dancer was a bit down from Twilight not showing up to her get together. It was unlike Twilight to forget about her. It was now that the letter Twilight and Spike wrote materialized in front of her. As she read it, she felt so much better that Twilight didn't just ignore her for no particular reason. She was intrigued as she read over Princess Luna's return. She continued reading until she read over that she was being given Twilight's old home. There was a moment of double take. She made sure she wasn't seeing things. The key appeared right into her magical grasp. The internal squealing intensified to the point it was audible. In the time for the sun to go from afternoon to sunset: she packed up everything in her home, sold her house, and moved over to her new place. She had never been happier in her life. Being raised in the lower classes, being given one of the high class houses is something she appreciated. In her content nature, she made sure to thank Twilight by sending a "thank you" note with all the bits she made from the selling of her old home. She knew it would never really make up for the fact that she has been given a million bit property, but she knew that Twilight knows an appreciative mare by appearance. After sending the letter, she had her dinner and went to bed with a smile on her face. Transition back to Golden Oak Library. It was finally time for the thing Twilight was looking most forward to. She and Spike were in the bedroom. "Spike~ It's time for the cuddles!" Twilight was patting the space next to her on the bed. Spike had no objections to that. He jumped into Twilight's embrace. The duo then dozed off to sleep, the grand adventure having begun. Zoom out of sleeping duo. End Theme with Credits. Transition to the Castle of the Two Sisters in the Everfree Forest. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were searching through the vines nearby the castle. They eventually found what they were looking for. "Sister, is this what we think it is?" Yanking off some overgrown vines, Luna inquires. "Mmhmm, I think that this might be one of the best ways to thank them for saving you," Celestia suggests. "The Stardust Speedway? This thing is designed for ponies living thousands of years ago! Not to mention it starts here in what is now the Everfree Forest." "Who said it had to start in the Everfree Forest? I think with some remodeling, fine tuning and reroute to start in Canterlot, we can bring this creation of yours into the modern era!" There was a shot of magic that destroyed a section of the old Stardust Speedway. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get to it! They earned it after all." Princess Celestia just smiled. It was great to be reunited with her sister and already be bonding over something of old. Fade to Black. S1E3: Twilight, Spike, and the Tickets to the GalaThe day after they redeemed Princess Luna, Twilight and Spike spent their afternoon at Sweet Apple Acres helping Applejack with one of her harvests. It was nice to take a break from the city life and enjoy nature. "That was fun Applejack, thank you for letting us be of assistance," Twilight cheerfully commented. "No problem Twilight, it's not everyday that I am able to show a little bit about the farm life. Hm... here, catch!" Applejack tossed two big red juicy apples that had Windows printed all over towards the purple duo, "a nice snack for the hard work you did." "Thanks Applejack! Your apples are the best after all, right?" Spike nudged the farm pony while taking a bite of the apple received, "Hmm? Something the matter?" Applejack flushed red, but regained her composure. Spike then receives a letter from Princess Celestia. "Let's see what we have here... wait what?!?!" he exclaims. "Hmm?" Twilight takes the letter in her magic, munching on the apple in her magical grip. She then went wide eyed. "Princess Celestia is inviting us to the Grand Galloping Gala?!?!" Begin Theme. The letter mentioned the Grand Galloping Gala in Canterlot, and that Princess Celestia is giving Twilight, Spike, and their five friends the first of the tickets as a way of saying "thank you" for bringing back her sister. "This is so exciting! I've never been to the gala!" Twilight excitedly jumps up and down in a circle around Spike and Applejack. Applejack caught the letter that flew out of Twilight's grasp and read over it while Spike burped up seven tickets. "Sounds fun. We're definitely going, right Ms. Sparkle?" Spike gave Twilight a tight hug. "Mmhmm~ Belles of the ball, correct?" "Uh... I'm still here ya know," Applejack flushed as she gave the letter back to Twilight. "*squee* Sorry Applejack," was the response from both of them. "Anyways, sounds mighty nice Twilight," Applejack commented, "Princess Celestia must be pretty happy to have her sister back." "You can say that again!" Spike chirped. Applejack chuckled. "Well, tell the Princess I said thanks for the ticket. I may be a farm pony, but it is nice to be able to go frou-frou occasionally. Don't tell Rarity I said that though." There was an understanding smile from the purple duo. After that exchange, Twilight and Spike departed Sweet Apple Acres, being in a cheerful mood from an afternoon well spent. As they were walking/trotting down the farm road, a familiar rainbow Pegasus crash landed in front of them because of plot convenience. "You doing alright Rainbow Dash?" Spike pokes the downed Pegasus. Rainbow Dash got up and dusted herself off. "Yep, nothing new after all, right? So, what's new..." she caught sight of the tickets Twilight and Spike were trying to bring home, "are those what I think those are?" The purple duo squee'd. "Yeah, tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala," Twilight matter-of-factly answered. "That's awesome! The Wonderbolts perform at The Grand Galloping Gala every year!" Rainbow spoke, "I know I would totally love to go, so make sure you have fun alright?" There was the obvious "hiding that she really wants a ticket" face plastered on the cerulean mare. "Rainbow Dash, you do realize that one of these tickets is for you right?" Rainbow Dash was confused and pointed a hoof at herself, asking for clarification if she heard Twilight correctly. Twilight just nodded. "Yes Rainbow Dash, for you. You did save Princess Luna after all, and that is something that can't be downplayed. So here you go~ I'm looking forward to spending time with you girls there," she issued Rainbow Dash one of the tickets. There was a small pause as Rainbow Dash took the ticket in her hoof. There was a sudden rainbow blast followed by a rainbow trail going up towards the sky. "Best! Princess! Ever!" was what the purple duo could hear. Twilight and Spike were amused at Rainbow Dash's over the top reaction. They continued towards Ponyville and into the town square when there was a sudden crash and they found themselves on the ground. The tickets floated down in front of the eyes of the crasher, Pinkie Pie. "Huh? Am I seeing gold? Wait... these are..." Pinkie realized, "tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala?! It's the most amazing incredible tremendous super-fun wonderful terrifically humongous party in all of Equestria! I've always always always wanted to go!" Pinkie Pie then went on to rant about all the partying that she would do and all the games she would play. "You're so lucky Twilight! Getting to be treated well by this drake~" Pinkie Pie gave Spike a pat on the head. Rarity trotted in and squealed at the sight of the golden Grand Galloping Gala tickets grounded on the gravel. "Twilight, are these what I think these are?" Rarity squealed in excitement. "Uh--" was all Twilight mumbled. "Yes, yes, yes! Tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala in Canterlot!" Pinkie Pie squealed in delight. "The gala? I design ensembles for the gala every year. You're so lucky!" Rarity then pouted, "I too would love to attend..." Fluttershy trotted in on the scene and saw the tickets. She gasped. "Um, excuse me, Twilight. I would just like to ask, I mean, if it would be alright..." Fluttershy meekly spoke. "You? You want to go to the gala?" Rarity questioned. "Oh, no. I mean, yes, or, actually, kind of. You see…” Fluttershy then went into an explanation of all the flora and fauna in the Canterlot Castle Garden and how she would love to see it herself. That does sound like a good idea, I should take Spike for a walk/trot through that garden. "Sounds wonderful Fluttershy," Twilight replied, "but you three do realize that three of these tickets are for you right? Who else would deserve these tickets than the ones who saved Princess Celestia's sister? Pinkie Pie, don't answer that." The party pony squee'd. Rarity was immediately next to Twilight. "Tell me you're joking." "Yeah... no, I'm not." There was the loudest squeal from Rarity as she jumped around Spike and the other mares. Fluttershy accepted her ticket graciously while Pinkie Pie and Rarity were more animated in receiving their tickets. Afterwards, Twilight and Spike finally managed to return back home. That was convenient. Now I don't have to go out and issue all those tickets. It was evening when they entered the library. Twilight went over to one of the living room couches and stretched herself out. "Ah... that was a day well spent wasn't it Spike?" "Yep, a simple day in which nothing happened. I'm totally fine with having more of these kinds of days." Spike joined Twilight in relaxation on the couch, bringing over a book that just so happened to be the script to this story. The two of them studied over it for a while, intrigued by the fact that it kept changing every time they tried to read it over again. Afterwards, it was dinner/supper time. Spike cooked for the two of them that day. It was a simple meal of spaghetti with tomato sauce (clever wording) and emerald shavings. As he was serving the plate for the two of them, Twilight made a comment. "It's not Hearth's Warming isn't it? It is red and green after all," she let loose a giggle. "Eh, I like emeralds. Nice and green. Reminds me of nature." Twilight smiled warmly. "Well, shall we eat?" she remarked. "Don't we need to get serving plates?" "Silly Spike, didn't you read the sentence in the paragraph above? It says 'As he was serving the plate for the two of them...'. That's a singular plate for me and you~" Spike slapped a claw to his face because of the semantics of writing. Nevertheless, the purple duo began eating. As with all spaghetti eating scenes, the stereotype must happen. There was a moment where Twilight and Spike found themselves on opposite ends of the same noodle. Spike was nonchalantly eating when he found his lips resting on Twilight's. The book mare just gave him a wink and then commented. "My my Spike, making the moves are we?" Twilight pretended to be sheepish. "Uh--" Spike blanked out while he flushed red. They finished eating and went to take a bath. Twilight enjoyed it when Spike washed her mane with his claws. After getting nice and squeaky clean, the purple duo went to the bedroom and prepared to go sleep. Twilight had reservations since she didn't get the best sleep the day before, so she was fiddling around with her tail in her hooves while sitting on their bed. Spike could see how uncomfortable the book mare was. He rummaged through the boxes of stuff that they packed when they moved here and found something that never failed to keep Twilight happy. "Hey Twilight~ Look what I found~" "*gasp* It's Smarty Pants! We did bring her over!" Twilight gave Spike a peck on the cheek and then took Smarty Pants in her grip. The old stuffed animal smell was enough to calm her down. Smarty Pants was wedged between Spike and Twilight cuddling as the two dozed off to sleep peacefully, without any more discomfort. "I sure got my work cut out for me. That's the biggest bumper crop of apples I ever laid eyes on," Applejack commented. "Eeyup," Big Mac sort of commented. "Come on, big brother! You need to rest up and get yourself better. I haven't met an apple orchard yet that I can't handle," she poked where Big Mac had a bandage wrapped around his injury. Big Mac winced and gave her a glare, "Oops, sorry. I'll take a bite out of this job by day's end." After looking out at the field and realizing how much there was to harvest, Applejack felt slight regret and gulped. “Eenope,” Big Mac gave a disapproving glare. Begin Theme. Rainbow Dash was perturbed. Applejack was never this late. "There you are!" Rainbow was not happy. "*yawn* I'm a mite sorry, Rainbow. I was busy harvesting and I guess I closed my eyes for a second. When I woke up, I was late. So what's this new trick of yours?" Rainbow Dash was a bit suspicious of how tired Applejack looked. Nevertheless, she decided to explain her new trick. "Well, I'm going to stand on one end, then you are going to jump down from that platform up there, launching me into the air faster than I can take off on my own. Once, I'm in the air *fancy flying stuff* that are sure to impress the Wonderbolts." "Isn't that a mite dangerous?" "Not for a pony who can fly~" Rainbow showed off her wings. "Well, alrighty then." Applejack climbed up to the top of the platform and was a bit surprised at the height. Since she was tired, it was difficult for her to focus her eyes. "Oh... dear..." Applejack commented. "Ready? One... two... three!" Rainbow counted up. Applejack missed the see-saw with a resounding loud crash. "Maybe I wasn't clear. You're supposed to land on the other end," Rainbow matter-of-factly states. "Got it." Applejack failed three more times, hitting the ground comically each time. Rainbow Dash was not amused. "Applejack, what the hay is going on? I thought I was working with Ponyville's best athlete!" "You are. I'm okay. Really. Ah... I have an idea. Watch this," Applejack pushed down the other end of the see-saw. Rainbow Dash was not amused, version 2.0, "oh... maybe not. Okay, one more try, I'm sure to get it this time." Applejack released the see-saw which caused Rainbow Dash to plop back down and go into a daze. Rainbow Dash was not ready for what Applejack was going to do next; Applejack did not miss. "Heh heh... Here I go!" Applejack lined up her aim and jumped off the platform. "Wait! Applejack!!!!!!!" Rainbow exclaimed as she was launched into the air... in the wrong direction. "You're welcome!" Transition to the Golden Oak Library. Twilight and Spike were relaxing with a few books on the balcony. Spike was reading over the script for Season 1 Episode 4. "Hmm... Twilight and Spike were relaxing with a few books on the balcony... Infinite loop of me reading what I'm speaking over and over again... Rainbow Dash crash lands on the balcony of the library... uh-oh..." Rainbow Dash crash lands on the balcony of the library. Spike glares at the camera, seemingly perturbed at the author's use of meta-humor. "Ugh..." Rainbow yelped. "Can we help you?" Twilight asked. "No... I'll be fine... Applejack just launched me in the wrong direction that's all," she slumped over the balcony, "well, I'll be going now. See ya Twilight, see ya Spike." Rainbow Dash tried to exit as non-humiliatingly as possible. "Well... that was awkward... and highly expected," Spike matter-of-factly stated. The duo then decided to take a relaxing day with Rarity which meant a day at the spa. Transition to Sugarcube Corner. "Thank you for helping me make some baked goods Applejack! I have to keep watch over Sugarcube Corner since the Cakes are away, so here's a recipe card~ Shouldn't be too hard to follow," Pinkie thanked then instructed. Pinkie Pie returned to her post at the counter. Unknown to Pinkie Pie, Applejack lost her sense of comprehension from overworking herself. The letters on the card were blurry and jumbled. This caused Applejack to use tater chips, soda, lemon juice, and earthworms instead of chocolate chips, baking soda, flour, and wheat germ. Applejack finished baking the goods and gave it over to Pinkie Pie who then presented the free samples to eager ponies as this was supposedly a new recipe. Even Pinkie Pie herself tried one. Applejack, being busy, had to gallop back to harvest more apples. Transition to the Ponyville Spa. Twilight and Spike were relaxing side by side on massage tables while the spa ponies Aloe and Lotus Blossom were pampering to their needs. Rarity was busy getting her "usual". It was then that they were rudely jolted from their relaxing session at the spa when urgent news from the Ponyville Hospital arose. Twilight was called over was since she did have some medical expertise from being a student at Princess Celestia's school. Twilight and Spike quickly thanked Rarity for the session and paid the bits. They bolted out the spa and got to the hospital within minutes. "We came as soon as we heard," Twilight proclaimed. "Oh thank you, Twilight. We need all the help we can get," Nurse Redheart thanked. The sound of ponies moaning in pain could be heard throughout the place. All of them were in beds and had stomachaches and cramps. "Oh no! What happened?" Twilight was shocked. "It was a mishap with some of the baked goods," Nurse Redheart matter-of-factly spoke. "No, not baked goods, baked bads," Pinkie was in pain. Chatting with Pinkie Pie, she found out that Applejack had made those pastries that caused the food poisoning. Twilight stayed and assisted with treating all the ponies. Spike wasn't happy with the two things that Applejack had managed to do in one day, so he spoke up. "Twilight, we can't allow Applejack to continue harm to our friends. She may have good intentions, but this is ridiculous." The unhappiness was equally evident on Twilight's face as well. "You know Spike, I think it's about time I pay her a visit." After treating the last pony, she decided to continue taking care of Pinkie Pie for the day. Since Twilight felt that Pinkie Pie should rest a bit more, she grabbed a red wagon for her and helped her into it. They decided to take Pinkie Pie home first. Twilight set Spike into the red wagon with Pinkie Pie and started on their way to Sugarcube Corner. During their trip, Pinkie Pie got awfully comfortable with Spike. She rubbed her mane that smelled of pastries all over Spike while nuzzling him lovingly. "Mmm... Spike~ It's time! The author is finally allowing me to confess my love to you! Something about spreading out the ships along the whole Season to make the story less boring. So here I go~ *ahem* You may not have known this, but--" Twilight stopped pulling the wagon and looked back towards the two in the wagon, then gave a smirk. "Pinkie Pie, we get it. Let us begin the Harem~ Also, what you were about to say is quite the spoiler to this story~" "Aww!!! Being governed by the author's typing is no fun!" "Well... without the author being here, we wouldn't be able to speak. Anyways, this is a Harem story. How exactly does one Harem?" Spike commented then asked. "Well Spike, according to most Harem stories, including a lot that the author has read on this site, a lot of ponies build an interest in one figure, in this case you, and then they do romantic things to that one figure. So... I guess Pinkie Pie should be giving you a kiss? By the way, most Harem stories either have the ponies of the Harem competing against each other or all agreeing to share... I'm sure you know which path me and Pinkie Pie are taking given our close friendship," Twilight consulted her vast intellect on the matter. "Huh? Mmph--" Spike's lips were silenced by Pinkie Pie's. "And now the Harem that this story took three Episodes to build up has begun! I've been waiting to give Spike a kiss for so long!" Pinkie chirped. The author was trying hard to not give himself a headache from the sheer amount of fourth wall breaking the fourth Episode is bringing. Nevertheless, he decided to continue typing the story. Twilight decided that Pinkie Pie and Spike could use some time together and allowed Spike to spend the night with Pinkie Pie, trusting Spike with the care of her best friend. She arrived at Sugarcube Corner and dropped off the new pairing of the story, then turned her eyes towards Sweet Apple Acres to set things right. Transition to Sweet Apple Acres. It was evening when Twilight found Applejack harvesting the apples on some trees in the orchard. At least Applejack was until she zoned out for a bit, then jolted awake and ended up kicking thin air. "Whoa!" Applejack exclaimed. Applejack did not seem aware of what she had done in her tired delirium. What is that pony doing? Twilight approached the farm pony. "Hey Applejack!" "Huh? Oh, howdy, Twilight!" "What is all this?" "It's Applebuck Season." "Apple what Season?" "It's what the Apple Family calls harvesting time. We gather all the apples from the trees so we can sell them." "But why are you doing it all alone?" "Because Big Mac hurt himself." "What about all those relatives I met when I first came to Ponyville? Can't they help?" "*sigh* They were just here for the Apple Family Reunion. They live all over Equestria and are busy harvesting their own orchards. So... I'm on my own. Which means, I should really get back to work. *Ahem* hint hint? Get back to work?" Does she not remember what she told me back when we met? Also, she caused harm to Pinkie Pie, I can't allow that. "Applejack, no. You need rest. First you shoot a Pegasus at my house and then you cause my best friend food poisoning. What I find the worst though is that you told me that I was 'part of the family' already. I quote," Twilight pulled out Season 1 Episode 1's script, "'why Twilight, I'd say you're part of the family already.' Why didn't you ask me?" Applejack was unable to give any retort. Her head sunk down. Twilight continued, "I know you probably feel bad right now. But please, anytime you ever need help, don't be afraid to call me over. I am an honorary Apple Family member correct? I also presume quite a few of our other friends are too. Go on, I think you deserve a break for all your hard work. I'm sure I can take care of the rest of the apples for you." Twilight gave Applejack a friendly hug then helped the farm pony back to the Apple Family's house. Applejack sat on some hay bales that were just outside the entrance. After making sure Applejack wouldn't get into anymore harm, Twilight turned to the fields and used her magic to harvest the remaining apples in the orchard. She brought all the apple baskets back to the Apple Family house and set them by the entrance. Applejack, having snapped to her senses, spoke up. "Twilight, I'm a lot sorry for all the trouble I have caused you ponies today. You were right, I did tell you and the rest of our friends that you all were practically honorary Apple Family members and I didn't even bother. Thank you for snapping me out of it, Twilight. I should make it up to you. Hmm... would you like to stay over for the night?" "No problem Applejack," Twilight thought a bit, "staying over does sound like a very good idea. Spike is currently spending time with Pinkie Pie and I have nothing better to do." Applejack nodded and smiled then led Twilight into the Apple Family's living room where Apple Bloom was trying hard to figure out her homework. Twilight was concerned. The farm filly had to balance chores and schoolwork; It really was a hard life. Apple Bloom has helped me before, it's about time I help her. The reader was heavily confused by Twilight's thought. The author simply tells the reader to not push the matter as it will be answered in a later Episode. Twilight trotted up to Apple Bloom, sat beside her then began tutoring. Applejack was impressed at Twilight's resolve. While Apple Bloom was enjoying Twilight's company and assistance, Applejack went to the kitchen and prepared dinner. The Apple Family and Twilight all had dinner while chatting amongst themselves. Applejack and Apple Bloom learned about how Twilight and Pinkie Pie began the Harem, mainly by being shown this Episode's script. Twilight made sure to stop them from reading to this part of the Episode as it would cause an endless loop of text. After dinner and washing up, Twilight decided to go stargazing. Apple Bloom, being a filly with an interest in Spike, hopped alongside Twilight in hopes that she could get to know the Alpha Mare better. Twilight was amused at the filly's excitement, so she set Apple Bloom on her back with her magic. She found a nice hill with a lone tree that had a good view of Ponyville, Sweet Apple Acres and obviously the stars. Apple Bloom learned a lot about the different constellations in Princess Luna's beautiful night sky from Twilight. There came a point where Apple Bloom was too tired to continue watching the stars and so fell asleep while nuzzling a rambling Twilight. "...and that one there is... oh?" Twilight smiled at the sight. She eventually fell asleep herself after studying the night sky some more, being tired from talking so much. Applejack was wondering what was taking the two of them so long and went out searching. She eventually stumbled upon the hill with the sleeping pair and was touched by the heartwarming sight. She returned with a blanket and draped it over the two of them. Thank you Twilight for being a good friend. Applejack gave the sleeping Twilight a quick hug, then returned back home to get some sleep herself. Zoom out of the sleeping Twilight and Apple Bloom. End Theme with Credits. Transition to Sugarcube Corner. Spike indeed took care of Pinkie Pie as per Twilight's request. The new duo was intrigued by two new sides that they found about each other that night. "Spike, you're cooking is amazing! I would love it if you joined me in baking one day. We will be top of the top~" Pinkie praised. The two of them were finishing up their dinner in Pinkie Pie's room. "*blushes* Aw shucks Pinkie Pie, considering you're a very good baker yourself, that really is something. I must say though... you seem a lot more calm now than earlier in this Episode." "Is there something wrong with that?" Pinkie tilted her head to one side. "No no! It's, I kind of like it. You're relaxed and just seem happy." Pinkie Pie gave a heartfelt smile and took Spike's claw in her hoof. "Yeah Spike. It is nice to take a break from having to be the 'party pony'. I'm a mare too and I wouldn't mind being pampered once in awhile... thank you by the way," Pinkie somehow squeezed Spike's claw. The two sat in silence for a while, just happy to be in each other's company. They cleaned up the dishes eventually. Pinkie Pie then suggested something that made Spike blush. "Spike~ want to take a bath together?" Pinkie winked. "What?! Isn't that a bit too fast?" "What does the reader know? This Episode is already too self aware and knows about how most romance stories are terribly paced. Not to mention the fact that we kissed to begin our ship's story, a big jump in the bases already~ The reader is here for Pinkie Pie x Spike cute moments right?" Pinkie gave a questioning look at the camera. "Good point. We're a new pairing so we're going to do cute stuff together. Let's bathe together!" So they did. Pinkie Pie was made a very happy mare as Spike ran his claws through her mane. Spike enjoyed how caring Pinkie Pie was in buffing off all of his scales. They also partook in a splash fight that the pink mare won. After bathing, Pinkie Pie was looking forward to this moment. Spike was in front of Pinkie Pie's bed where the mare was sitting with a warm smile. "Spike~ It's time for the cuddles!" Spike pulled out Season 1 Episode 2's script, glared at camera since the author reused the same line a second time, shrugged his shoulders then hopped into Pinkie Pie's embrace. Spike practically melted in Pinkie Pie's hooves. Her soft mane and tail, her soft body with that wonderful pastry scent, all this caused Spike to fall asleep immediately. Pinkie Pie gave Spike a peck on the lips before drifting off to sleep, one last thought in her head. Thank you Spike... for watching over me. Zoom out of the sleeping Pinkie Pie and Spike. "But isn't it strange?

Zoom out on picture of Twilight and Spike. Pink Background and Slam Logo on Top as Theme Ends. Fade to Black. Yes indeed. S1E4: Applejack Does an HonestApplejack was looking over the beautiful fields of Sweet Apple Acres with her brother. The trees were ready to harvest. Fade to Black.
