Chapter One- A few not so unusual mornings.
“Hurry, hurry!” Violet squealed running hurriedly down the long halls of the castle. “Violet Century, no running in the castle!” Twilight exclaimed. “Sorry mom, but Dawn and I will be late”. “Oh I completely forgot!” Twilight exhaled with frustration. With Spike going to Canterlot to attend Celestia's school for gifted unicorns with Apple Bloom, and Flash’s new work opportunity in the Crystal Empire, It completely slipped my mind!” Twilight continued whilst fastening Violet’s saddle bag. “is Dawn up?” she questioned as she finished fastening the saddle bag. “Yes, shes in the library reading up on cutie marks again, jeez that filly is desperate she never stops obsessing over her cutie mark!” Violet said in frustration at her sister's determination in something so silly for her age to be worrying about. “Oh come on Violet. When you were her age you wanted your cutie mark just as much.” Twilight laughed. “I guess”, Violet sighed. “Those were the days huh? Now my special talent is getting in the way of things..” she murmured quiet enough so her mother wouldn't hear. Meanwhile Dawn Sparkle was sitting comfortably in the library of her mother's castle, pondering on what her cutie mark might be. “Ooo! I could try swimming!” she smiled quickly scribbling this down with her magic into a book she liked to keep close at hoof. “Dawn!” she heard her mother call. Oh shoot was it time for school already?! Packing up her things into her saddle bag she trotted down the hall, gave her mother a hug and walked out the great halls of the castle with her sister. As they breathed in the ponyville air the two trotted onwards to the local Ponyville Schoolhouse, and newly established, high school.
“Bye Dad!” I happily exclaimed running past my dad whilst giving him a quick peck on the cheek, “bye mom!” I said creating a rain of flowers upon her. “Bye Comet!” I said running past my baby brother in his high chair, happily flicking food in every which direction. Now carefully trotting down the path from our small palace in the Everfree Forest, away from the chaos. I looked back and smiled at my home. Giggling at the floating chocolate fountain.
“Cinnamon Roll, get down here and eat ya’ breakfast, right now youn’ lady!” Cinnamon heard her mother hollar. “Coming!” she replied throwing off the boots she had attempted to style with her usual scarf. “Mornin’ Pa, Mornin Ma’” Cinnamon said seating herself at the table, were her father sat drinking a hot cup of coffee, whilst her mother stood at the stove cooking pancakes with a hint of apple. “Hows mah’ little girl?” Crimson Snow asked putting down his cup of coffee. “Very well Pa’” Smiled Cinnamon “Well thats good to ear’” AppleJack laughed turning away from the stove. “Now eat up” she continued slipping the pancakes on the plate in front of the young mare. “Gladly” smiled Cinnamon as she munched away.
