Chapter 2 – Daily Life and Old Times

Jennifer Oliver looked at the area where her son’s house had been. He had been gone for over a week and she had no idea where her son was but from what she knew, her son’s house had disappeared in a cloud of green lightning.

She thought it was ironic all things considered.

“Oh Tommy, no matter how much you try, it seems that you’ll always be dealing with your past as a power ranger.” She said with melancholy.

She remembered when they adopted him when he was just a boy. He was so shy and timid when they first met him but over the years he really came out of his shell.

She remembered reading the file on his ‘biological mother’. If she could even be called that. That woman was nothing more than a drug addict that put her addiction before her own son. She swore that she that as long as she lived, he would never go back to that evil woman.

But that didn’t matter now, she and her husband gave him the life that he deserved.

She just prayed that her son was safe and happy wherever he was.

She thought back to their time living in angel grove when he was still in high school.

“Those were some crazy days.” She thought to herself as she remembered the day that she first found out that her son was the legendary green ranger. She nearly passed out at seeing her son transform into a super hero.

Her husband stood beside her as they both examined where the house use to be. He hugged her when he saw tears flowing down her cheeks.

“Why does he always have to suffer? Why does he always have to put his life on the line? He’s risked his life so many times right under our noses and we never even knew it for the longest time. After all the good he’s done, why does this have to happen to him?” She asked her husband as he stared into her pleading eyes.

“I don’t know, he’s always been the stubborn type. But I have a feeling that were ever he is, he’s alive and alright.” He said.

“You really think so?” She asked.

“I do, he’s our son after all. Besides, he knows how to take care of himself.” He said.

“Besides, I’m not going to stop looking for him. I have the entire police force looking for him. We’ll find him.” Tony Oliver said as with a determined look on his face.

“I just hope you’re right.” Jennifer said.

Tommy was walking through Ponyville after finishing up his work at the school and martial arts club with the kids.

He couldn’t help but chuckle at how this whole world was so colorful with its pastel colors.

The colors brought back a lot of memories of a particular group of very colorful young ladies that he ran into during his ranger days.

“It’s been far too long Tony.” A Japanese man wearing glasses with black hair that had a brown hue to it said as he hugged Tommy’s father.

“How have you been Kenji?” Tony asked with a huge smile.

“Great, just got a promotion.” Kenji said as the two began to talk.

“Ikuko! How are you?” Jennifer said as she hugged a young blue haired Japanese woman.

“Great! I see that you are a mother now!” Ikuko said with a smile.

As Tommy’s parents caught up with their old friends he sat their looking around the city that was around him.

He stared at the tall buildings while off in his own little world. His eyes seemed vacant. Almost as if the lights were on but nobody was home.

“Is that Tommy?” Ikuko asked as she stared at the young boy that was no older than her daughter.

“Yes. That’s my son Tommy.” Jennifer said as she looked at her son. Ever since he witnessed the monster attacks he hadn’t been the same.

“How has the therapy been going?” The blue haired woman asked.

“I’ve hardly made any progress with him. He’s only just started talking to me about what he’s seen and I must say that it is disturbing.” Jennifer said with worry.

Ikuko stared at Tommy, he had his hair tied back in a ponytail. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt that showed his toned arms. She quickly noticed the scars on them.

Jennifer had been writing and talking to her old friend Ikuko over the phone about how Tommy had just recently been missing for almost a week due to a monster attack and how he’s been in the hospital due to it.

She felt bad for him, no one should have to go through something like that. She was thankful that her daughter Usagi didn’t have to go through anything like that.

She saw her daughter staring at Tommy from a distance. He noticed the girl staring at him.

Tommy saw a young Japanese girl with blonde hair. Her hair color struck him as odd but he figured that she must have dyed her hair for some kind of fashion trend.

The girl looked to be the same age as he was.

“What a hunk.” She thought out loud, not realizing what she just said.

“Uh. Thanks.” He said awkwardly making the girl realize what she just said as she looked like she was about to panic when she realized he heard it too.

“Oh Usagi, come here and introduce yourself to our guests. They’re friends of the family.” Usagi’s mother said cheerfully.

“Usagi, this is Thomas Oliver. Tommy this is my daughter Usagi Tsukino.” She said with a smile.

“Hi there Usagi-san. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” Tommy said with a smile as he shook her hand.

“Like wise, and call me Serena.” She said with a smile.

“It’s getting late. Why don’t we all head inside?” Ikuko said as she led everyone inside. They all talked for hours before finally heading to bed.

The next morning Tommy was sitting at the breakfast table of his father’s friend’s house.

“So Tommy, what do you plan on doing today?” Usagi asked.

“I don’t know, I figured I’d walk around the city and take a look around.” He answered.

“That sounds like a good idea. Usagi could give you a tour of Tokyo.” Ikuko said with a smile.

“That sounds like a great idea. Spending time with a cute girl all day would do you a world of good.” Tommy’s mother said with a smile.

“Yeah, I could introduce you to my friends!” Usagi cheered.

“Come on, Serena, you’re just desperate for a boyfriend.” Shingo, Usagi’s little brother said with a laugh.

“Shut up!” She shouted with a blush.

Ikuko and Jennifer giggled at their kids antics.

“Who knows, if the tour goes good then we might be in laws.” Ikuko said with a giggle.

“Mom!” The two teens shouted in embarrassment.

The two mothers laughed at their children reactions.

Usagi’s embarrassment quickly disappeared when a black cat with a bluish hue to its fur jumped up on her.

For a moment Tommy could have sworn that he saw Serena talking to the cat before jumping up from her seat quickly.

“Um, the tour will have to wait until later. Something just came up!” Usagi shouted as she ran out of the house in a hurry.

“That was weird.” He said before getting up and going outside.

“Be careful Tommy, don’t stay out too long.” Ikuko and Tommy’s mother called out.

“Don’t worry I won’t.” Tommy called back.

Tommy walked down the block and ended up in the city.

“Damn, this city is huge. Might as well buy some souvenirs for everyone.” He said as he shopped around for a bit.

When he finished finding the perfect gifts for his friends he saw a news broadcast on one of the displayed television sets in the store.

He couldn’t understand a word that the news woman was saying due to the broadcast being in Japanese. But the footage told him enough.

Monsters were attacking downtown Tokyo. A bunch of people were running and screaming. But what got his attention was the five girls that were fighting them. He looked closer and saw that one of them was Serena.

“Shit! Those things will over run them!” Tommy said as he saw the girls being out numbered.

He ran behind a store and made sure no one was around before teleporting off.

“Serena, watch out!” Sailor Mars shouted as a blast went off right next to the blonde who barely jumped out of the way in time.

Sailor Moon was panting from the exhaustion of the fight. She couldn’t hold out for much longer. A bunch of monsters were closing in on her. As one of them was about to smash her head in, Sailor Mercury to come to her rescue.

“Mercury Ice Bubble Freeze!” She shouted as she unleashed a blast of bubbles that froze the monster.

Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus grabbed Serena and helped her up.

“There’s too many of them!” She shouted.

All of the girls took off and tried to get some distance between them and the monsters only for the monsters to give chase. The girls ran into a nearby park to try and lose their pursuers. When it looked like they were safe they all collapsed.

“We’ve been fighting those things for over an hour and we still haven’t been able to take them down.” Sailor Mars said as she looked over to her friend.

“Are you okay Serena?” She asked.

“Yeah, I’m okay. I just need to rest for a little bit.” Serena said as she tried to catch her breath.

“Aw, looks like little Sailor Moon is tired.” A voice said mockingly.

The girls stood around Serena in battle stances so they could protect her better.

“Who’s there?” Sailor Jupiter shouted.

A blonde man dressed in a gray military officer like uniform appeared in front of the girls with a bunch of monsters following behind him.

“Jedite! So it was you who sent this many monsters after us.” Sailor Mars asked.

“But of course! I got to thinking how you girls always beat the monsters I send at you one of a time. Then I realized the problem, I’m sending in a monster without backup. It’s like the sending in a general without an army.

“We’ll stop you, and besides Tuxedo Mask will be here.” Serena said as she got up.

When Jedite took a step closer a red rose shot through the air and stuck into the ground near his feet.

A young man dressed in a black tuxedo with a white mask and top hat came out of the shadows.

“Ah tuxedo mask. We’ve been expecting you.” The negaverse commander said with a smirk.

“What’s your plan this time? Trying to steal more energy?” He asked.

“Well that and to finally get rid of you all.”

“And how do you plan on doing that?” Tuxedo mask demanded.

“Like this.” Jedite said as he snapped his fingers causing an explosion that sent the girls and the boy flying backwards and out of the woods and onto the city streets.

“Damn, the trap didn’t go off properly. By all means that should have killed you. But you’re stupid powers protected you. Oh well. Guess we’ll have to do this the old fashion way then.” Jedite said.

“Kill them. You know what kill the civilians as well. We have more than enough energy now, you’ve all gathered more than enough.” He added as his monsters approached the sailor scouts while another group approached the civilians.

“T-This is it. We’re going to die. We failed and because of that those innocent people are going to die.” Sailor Moon thought a tears weld up in her eyes as one of the monsters stepped forward and charged an energy blast aimed at her.

Serena clenched her eyes shut as tears streamed down them.

*CRACK!!!*

A loud crunching sound echoed, but Sailor Moon felt nothing. She opened her eyes and saw the monster standing there with a look of disbelief. Impaled straight through his chest was a white gloved hand that was covered in blood.

The hand was yanked out of the monster’s chest whom fell over dead to reveal a warrior in emerald green armor standing behind the fallen monster.

Serena looked to where the other monster that was going to kill the civilians only to see it laying on the ground, its head was cut clean off. The civilians ran off when they got the chance.

“I-Is that who I think it is?” Sailor Mars asked

“I think it is! That’s a power ranger!” Sailor Mercury said as the Green Ranger repeatedly smashed a monster’s skull into a building’s wall, crushing its skull.

The blood covered ranger charged at the other monsters who fired energy blasts at him.

The blasts barely missed him, causing the ground to explode around him. But the power ranger kept charging through the blasts.

“Come on! Now’s our chance!” Tuxedo mask shouted as he drew a sword from his cane.

“Since when have you had that?!” Sailor Moon asked in shock but she got no answer as he charged into the battle, her and the other sailor scouts followed suite.

Sailor Mars fired a blast of fire from her finger tips that burnt one of her enemies to ash while Sailor Mercury sent a flurry of bubbles that froze one of her enemies. The green ranger took advantage of this opportunity and slammed a kick into it, shattering it to pieces.

Sailor Jupiter fired a bolt of lightning at an oncoming monster.

“Jupiter Thunder Crash!!!” She shouted as she electrocuted the monster.

“Venus Crescent Beam Match!” Sailor Venus shouted as she fired a beam of stars that hit the target, vaporizing it.

Tuxedo mask threw a rose at one of the monsters, hitting him in the face. While it was distracted he slashed it across the chest making it fall to the ground.

Sailor Moon was still barely able to move from exhaustion and her injuries caused her to barely be able to stand. Her head was spinning. She shook off the dizziness and charged an enemy only for said enemy to be blasted in the face by a neon green blast that came from the power ranger's hand. The monsters face was melted off, killing it.

Another enemy slashed at him with a sword only for him to duck under it and head-butt it before snapping its neck.

The Green Ranger tackled another monster to the ground that was trying to go for a little girl. While on top of the monster he began to literally beats its brains out.

Two monsters rushed him only for the power ranger to blast one of them with another neon green energy blast that he shot from his hand before slicing the other one with his dragon dagger followed by a stab to the throat.

The Sailor Scouts along with Tuxedo Mask were shocked by how brutal he was fighting.

Jedite was enraged by this superhero wannabe who was killing his lackeys.

“Who the hell are you! You think that I’m afraid of a spandex wearing son of a-”

*Rip!*

The Green Ranger had just brutally killed the last of Queen Beryl’s monsters. In his hand was the dead monster’s spinal cord with the skull still attached to it before he tossed it to the ground before slowly turning towards Jedite.

The power ranger had blood splattered across his helmet and outfit from the bloody fight.

The Green Ranger stared at him with an eerie silence before he drew is head back and emitted a dragon like roar that made all of the windows on all of the nearby buildings explode into millions of pieces.

“SWEET JESUS! SCREW THIS SHIT! I’M OUT OF HERE!” Jedite screamed in panic before teleporting off.

The power ranger stared were his enemy once stood before growling in anger and punching a giant tree, causing it to emit a serious of loud cracks as it toppled over with a loud crash.

Everyone was silent in fear.

The Green Ranger faced the girls who all tensed up.

“So it looks like I’m not the only one with a secret now am I Usagi?” He asked.

“How do you know who I am?” She asked in shock.

He then pulled his helmet off, revealing himself to the girls.

“You’re not wearing a mask or anything. It’s not exactly rocket science.” He said with a laugh.

“Tommy!” She gasped in surprise.

The other Sailor Scouts began talking to Serena but due to them talking in Japanese he was not able to understand them.

Serena answered them back in Japanese. He didn’t know what she said but it seemed to get the girls to trust him.

The other sailor scouts to his surprise could speak English as well but with heavy accents.

The all introduced each other and were happy for his help despite how brutal he was. But at that moment Tuxedo Mask walked up to the group of teens.

“I don’t trust this guy, he just came out of nowhere. For all we know he could be working for Queen Beryl. Besides, look at how’s he’s dressed, he looks like an idiot.” He said as he narrowed his eyes at Tommy.

“Says the guy who fights in a tuxedo and throws roses at his enemies.” Tommy retorted.

“Oh yeah, well-”

Tuxedo Mask was cut off as the sounds of police sirens could be heard.

“Shit! Everyone make a break for it!” Tommy shouted as he quickly put his helmet back on as they all made a break for it.

Tommy snapped out of his nostalgia. He decided to go back home. On his way back to his house he met up with the girls who on their way to visit him. They all made their way to his home.

The six mares were still very curious about the technology he brought from his world. But most of all they all had become fast friends with him so they wanted to pay him a visit.

As they were gathered around in his house, Tommy showed them his computer.

“What is this?” Twilight asked with curiosity as she looked at the strange piece of technology that was sitting on the table.

“Do you know what a computer is?” Tommy asked.

“Yes, I happen to own the most advanced one on the market. It has 45 kilobytes of memory.” She said with pride.

Tommy chuckled at her answer.

“Does it use punch cards?” He asked.

“Yes, what else would it use?” She asked with confusion.

“Well this is a computer from my world. It has 100 terabytes of memory.” (1)

Twilight's mouth hung open as she tried to process the information given to her.

“H-How?” She asked.

“I guess our technology is just more advanced. Especially in computers.”

“But it’s so small! My computer takes up around half of my basement!” She added.

“Well over the years computers became more compact. We even have portable versions. We use them for research, work, and for entertainment. This one is my gaming computer. Surprisingly enough it’s still able to get the internet for some reason.” Tommy explained wondering how that was possible.

“What’s an ‘Internet’?” Rarity asked.

Tommy explained how the internet was a network of computers and information that was used for anything from information gathering, to shopping, to entertainment, and many other things.

Twilight finally fainted from hearing all of the information at their finger tips…for a second. She jumped back up with excitement.

“Show us!” She said shouted with glee.

“Alright.” Tommy said as he showed them a few things here and their around the internet such as Wikipedia which Twilight loved as well as a shopping website which Rarity absolutely adored. Pinkie pie loved the games and Youtube videos.

Tommy did warn them about their being some ‘inappropriate’ material on the internet.

The girls blushed at the idea of there being so much risqué material in existances.

Tommy decided to show them one of his favorite videos on the internet.

The girls laughed, loving the video.

“What else, is there!” Pinkie Pie asked with glee.

Tommy showed them a lot of videos over the course of the next hour.

Fluttershy loved the cat videos. Applejack and Rainbow Dash loved the Epic Fail videos while Rarity loved the Let’s Play videos by Jacksepticeye and Markiplier since she was secretly a gamer, Pinkie Pie and Barbara loved the videos as well. Twilight loved the instructional videos and documentary type videos that were on Youtube.

After they were finished with the videos they went to the living room.

“Hey Tommy, we were wondering if you would like to go on a picnic with us?” Twilight asked.

Tommy smiled.

“Sure, I got nothing to do for the rest of the day.” He answered.

“Yay.” Fluttershy said with a soft smile.

“Wee! Let’s go everypony!” She shouted as they made their way out of his house.

“We’ll be meeting Blade Dancer at the picnic spot.” Rarity explained.

“I don’t mind her coming along, she seems nice enough. But do I really need a bodyguard to protect me?” He asked.

“Yes!” The six mares and the dragoness said in perfect unison.

“You remembered what happened back in Canterlot when you were giving that presentation?” Rarity asked.

“I don’t regret what I did, that guy was really ticking me off.” Tommy said as he thought back to a few days ago back in Canterlot.

“Doctor Oliver, what is the human world’s law enforcement like?” A scientist asked as he sat in the auditorium.

“It really depends on where you live. But it is pretty much the same, they all protect and serve the public and uphold the law.” Professor Oliver explained to the auditorium of scientists and historians.

The young professor was originally a high school teacher, he was a professor but he loved teaching and helping to mold the young minds of tomorrow.

Many more questions were asked to which he answered them all.

The six mares that found him and helped him were all listening to him intently. Rarity was asking him about earth’s fashion which he happily answered her on all of it. Twilight asked him about his world’s science, economy, and history. Fluttershy asked about earth’s animals. Applejack asked about farming techniques that his world had. Rainbow Dash asked about sports and what she called ‘awesome events’. Pinkie Pie asked about how his world partied. He answered every question with a smile.

Things were going very well. That is until a one of the more arrogant nobles decided to open their mouth.

“The technology you have is very impressive. How much do you want for it?” the noble asked as he eyed the technology Tommy brought for his presentation greedily.

The girls had explained that compared to their world, Tommy’s was far more advanced than theirs in a lot of ways. But that didn’t mean they didn’t have any advancements of their own, they had excellent medical treatments due to their magic. They even had cell phones.

“Thanks for the offer but they are not for sell, sir.” Tommy said.

“What do mean they are not for sale?” the noble demanded angrily.

“Just what I said, they are not for sale.” Tommy said politely.

“I could make you a very rich stallion.” The noble said.

“No thanks, got that covered already.” Tommy smirked as he flipped one of his now very valuable quarters in the air before catching it. Celestia warned Tommy about the nobles beforehand and he could tell that this guy wanted to get his hands on his ‘human technology’ as they called it, so he could get more power and make more money from it.

The stallion was getting pissed to the point that he looked like steam was about to come out of his ears.

“You can either give me your technology or I can have it taken from you!” he demanded.

“Yeah, not gonna happen. You see I read up on your how Equestria works and you and everyone ‘noble’ here, are nobles in name only. It’s just an honorary title that is given to those that have a lot of money and have passed it down to their children. Basically you have no power. So stop acting like you do?” Tommy said making some of the other nobles angry while Celestia and Luna giggled.

“I will not let some damn monkey make a fool out of me!” the noble shouted.

“Really? Because it looks like you’re doing a pretty good job of doing that yourself if I’m not mistaken.” The human said with a smirk.

“How dare you, do you know-”

“Honestly I don’t care who or what you could do to me. I hate arrogant people that think they are entitled to everything.” Tommy said as he cut off the noble.

“Besides, I’m a protected species due to me being the only one of my kind. Honestly, that’s more for your protection.” He added.

The stallion was fuming at Tommy waving him off like he was nothing as the man went back to giving his presentation.

The noble saw the Princesses and the Elements of Harmony giving him glares that made him shiver. So he decided to change his approach.

“I have a proposition.” The stallion said.

Tommy sighed at how annoying this guy was.

“Well, how about this. Since money is not an issue with you. My family could help you out by doing favors for you in return for your technology and teachings.” The noble added.

Tommy sighed in annoyance.

“But in addition, I will give you my daughter to be your wife.” He said which caused Tommy to give the stallion a cold glare.

“You would marry off your daughter without her even knowing?” the human asked with venom.

“What would she know, I’m mean that’s what she’s there for. Bisides, she’s just a foal anyways, it’s not like she would even know what’s going on.” He said.

Everyone in the room was disgusted at what the noble was saying. Celestia could not believe that one of her little ponies would even think of such a thing.

But before she could say anything a chair went flying across the room and smash into the stallion’s face, knocking him out as the chair shattered over his head.

Celestia ordered her guards to remove the knocked out noble from the room before she turned to Tommy and said.

“Whoops, looks like the lights went out and nopony was able to see what happened to that pathetic excuse of a noble.” She said with a smirk, letting Tommy know he was getting off scott free.

The nobles were enraged but Celestia silenced them quickly with a glare and reminded them that the title of ‘noble’ is just an honorary title and that they hold no more power than any other ordinary citizen.

“I still couldn’t believe he would give away his own baby away like that.” Fluttershy said in an angry tone that startled the girls.

“I agree darling, that stallion was disgusting to even suggest such a thing.” Rarity said.

As they all got to the picnic area they all set up the blanket and met up with Blade Dancer as she helped them set up the food.

They all sat around and enjoyed each others company as they ate.

Eventually they all began talking about some funny stories about their time together as friends.

“So Twilight goes speeding down the streets of Canterlot wearing nothing but a pair of roller skates and a helmet along with a two pillows strapped to her. She ended up going down the steepest hill in the city. Before hitting a stand of cabbages. Then said cabbages explode in a flurry of smoke and flames. The way Twilight landed face down with her naked butt in the air, all of Canterlot got a good look at her flanks and marehood!” Barbara laughed as all of the girls couldn’t help but roll over laughing.

Tommy laughed as he saw Twilight’s face become red from embarrassment.

“That’s not funny… I had a lot of marriage proposals after that.” Twilight said as she tried to hide her face behind her mane like Fluttershy does.

“Oh, here let me help you.” Fluttershy said as she helped her friend by moving more of her mane in front of her face to which Twilight thanked her.

“A ton of mares and stallions kept coming up to Twilight and saying things like ‘Please be my wife oh mare with the perfect flanks!’” Barbara giggled.

Twilight was blushing even more when she saw Tommy chuckling.

“Oh yeah, what about you? You must have gotten into some pretty embarrassing situations?” Twilight said as she tried to get the attention off of her and her ass.

“Well, there was this one time that I had to run from the cops when I was 14.” Tommy said as he scratched the back of his head.

“You mean you ran from the guards? What for?” Blade Dancer asked. She was curious as to why he would be running from the guards.

Tommy thought for a moment as he rubbed his chin in thought. As he remembered that day.

*SCREECH!*

A car slammed the breaks as a group of teenagers ran across a busy intersection in the middle of downtown Tokyo.

“Sailor Scouts, you know this place much better than I do, what’s the fastest way to get out of here and some place we can hide!”

Sailor Mercury quickly pulled out a hand held computer and began typing on it fast.

“This way!” The shy Sailor Scout shouted as she pointed to an alley.

As they all ran down the alley way they saw a group of police trying to block the way.

Tommy quickly charged the group as they fired Tasers at him only for his power ranger armor to block it and make them useless. He bulldozed through them and ran them over.

The cops were sent flying backwards due to his sheer power and speed.

“Shit! Helicopter!” Tuxedo Mask shouted as he pointed to a news helicopter in the sky with a camera pointed at them. The girls quickly covered their faces with their hands to hide their identities as they ran.

“We’ll use the buildings for cover! Follow me!” The Green Ranger shouted as he ran down another alley way and ducked behind another building.

The girls were amazed that they had the help of an actual power ranger. Truth be told they thought they were just some teens wearing spandex pretending to be some super heroes but they realized how wrong they were.

“This guy is a professional!” Sailor Mars thought as she remembered how he took down all of the monsters Jedite had sent at them like they were nothing.

Just as they were running out of the alley way and onto the street a police car accidentally hit Tommy, the female officer was too shocked even get out as she hit the ranger so hard he went flying over the hood of the car and rolled over the hood over it, shattering the police lights into his stomach and face before hitting the trunk and hitting the ground.

Surprisingly enough he managed to land on his feet in a crouching position as he grabbed his ribs he managed to take off running again.

“OH MY GOD! ARE YOU ALRIGHT!” Serena screamed as she saw her new friend get hit by a car going over 95 mph.

“I’m okay, my power armor protected me.” Tommy said in pain as even though it took the full brunt of the force and protected him, he could still feel that he would have some very bad bruises along his ribs.(2)

“Come on we’re almost home free!” He shouted as they all ran through an old abandoned tunnel when the helicopter lost sight of them.

They waited to see if the police would check the tunnel. But much to their relief, the police just sped by the tunnel not even paying any mind to it at all.

“Is everyone alright?” Tommy asked as they all caught their breaths.

“Yeah, I think so.” Sailor Mercury said as the girls checked each other to make sure they were all right.

“Well if you ladies are alright I guess I’ll take my leave.” Tuxedo Mask said as he ran out of the dark tunnel before anyone could say anything. But as he ran past, he glared at Tommy.

“I think it would be best if we changed back to our civilian clothing.” Tommy said as they all morphed back into their regular clothing.

When Tommy powered down he groaned in pain as he held a hand to his side.

He lifted up his shirt to see that he had a black bruise that was on the left side of his ribs.

“Are you alright.” Serena asked with worry.

“Yeah, I’m alright. Just a bruise. No broken bones thankfully.” He said as he lowered his shirt and sat down for a moment.

“So, is anyone excited and happy about the fact that we ran from the police and got away?” Sailor Mercury asked bewildered.

“HELL YEAH!!!” Everyone answered with huge grins spreading across their faces.

Tommy snapped out of his flash back and looked at Blade Dancer as she and the girls were staring at him intently while waiting for an answer.

“Well, I remember getting hit by a car and still making a run for it. We were just kids messing around is all.” He said nonchalantly.

“You got hit by a car? But from what I read those things are really heavy and go really fast! How are you not crippled?” Twilight asked as she has been reading on human inventions thanks to Tommy lending her some of his books.

“I got lucky I guess.” Tommy shrugged.

“Well I’m just glad you’re alright!” Pinkie Pie said as she hugged Tommy and started nuzzling his face.

“Thanks Pinkie Pie.” Tommy said with a slight blush at how close she was.

The next day Tommy was at his home grading some papers. As he marked a paper with an ‘A+’ he paused for a moment. He had a weird feeling that he was being watched for some reason. He looked around but saw no one there.

He shrugged and decided to just continue on with his work. When he was done with grading the papers he decided to head to bed for the night.

For three hours the two mares who were hiding in the bushes watched to see if the coast was clear. The two mares wore dark grey ski masks and completely covered in dark grey clothing.

The two mares slowly but very carefully opened the window without making a single sound. After sneaking in quietly the turned toward each other.

“Where do you think those coins are?” Cat Burglar asked her partner.

“I don’t know but I think they would be in the most guarded room of the house.” Safe Cracker said as her eyes scanned the dark living room before they searched the room.

As they slowly searched each room throughout the house they saw valuable items that they would normally steal but due to the nature of the job and how valuable the coins were, these things were nothing compared to the pay day that they would be getting from stealing these coins for their employer.

As they were searching the house they eventually found a room with a keypad next to the door.

“Hey, what the heck is that? I’ve never seen security like that before. What do you think it is?” Cat Burglar whispered.

“I don’t know but I’ve never seen anything like it. I think it requires a code of some sort.” Safe Cracker said as she carefully tried to type in a code to see if it would work in opening the door.

The door gave off a low beep at her typing in the wrong code. It made them flinch and quickly look around the room to see if anypony heard them.

When they were sure no one heard them, Safe Cracker tried again. She failed to notice the three green lights above the keypad. One of the three lights was now red.

*BEEP!*

The second green light turned red. Leaving only one green light left.

“The coins must be in there for him to have this thing keeping the door locked she said as she tried to open the door only for it to not even budge.

Safe Cracker tried again. And typed another code into the keypad only to get the same result as before.

All three lights above the keypad were now red and were now flashing.

A loud alarm began to echo throughout the house as the mares covered their ears.

After 30 seconds the blaring of the alarm went off and finally stopped.

Cat Burglar looked at Safe Cracker before speaking.

“You think he heard?” Cat Burglar asked.

“I heard.” A voice said from behind them.

On pure instinct alone the two mares whipped out retractable batons and swung at the source of the voice. One of the batons missed but the other gave a glancing blow to the stallion’s jaw.

Even though it was not a solid hit it and didn’t break anything, it would definitely leave a bruise.

The two mares saw the owner of the home leap back and took a fighting stance.

“What are you doing in my house?” He asked angrily, not even showing any pain to the blow to his face.

“We don’t want to hurt you but we will if we have to.” Safe Cracker said.

“Really, could have fooled me.” He said before spitting the blood that was gathering in his mouth straight into the mare’s eyes.

He quickly leg sweeped her, sending her to the ground. Cat Burglar lunged at the man in front of her and swung at him with her baton. Tommy ducked and weaved before catching her wrist that held the baton and kneed her in the stomach. The mare doubled over before he slammed his elbow into the back of her head.

The strike caused her to fall to the ground only for her to roll into the fall and back onto her feet. Safe Cracker was already up and was striking at him.

He could tell that these two mares were martial artists just by how they were moving and fighting, and they were good. Very good.

Cat Burglar quickly came to the aid of her partner. Tommy was now on the defensive due to his current condition due to his injuries from training with his training crystal.

The two mares were earth ponies which meant they were much stronger than the average pony. A single strike could lay him out and that was not a situation that he wanted to be in.

He slammed a series of rapid punches into Safe Crackers face and stomach only for Cat Burglar to take advantage of the opening and gave him three swift strikes to his stomach. The strike sent Tommy backwards.

She tried to jump onto him only for him to grab her by the shirt and press his foot into her stomach as he rolled backwards. Sending her flying head first into a wall. Sending her into a daze.

Just as Safe Cracker was about to attack Tommy again only for a large German Shepard to leap on top of her bite into her arm.

The dog let out a feral growl as she bit into the mare's arm and yanked it back and forth as she screamed in pain.

Just as Cat Burglar got up and shook her head to get rid of her dizziness she unknowingly stepped into the moonlight.

“It’s time to get serious. You’re going to-” Tommy stopped talking as he saw the mare standing in the moonlight. To any other individual they would have saw a mare dressed in a completely dark gray outfit with a dark gray ski mask.

But that’s not what Tommy saw. He saw one of Lord Zedd’s and Rita’s Putty Patrollers.

“What’s a matter? Scared that you’re-” She was cut off as Tommy closed the distance between them and slammed a series of punches and kicks into her stomach and face. She felt her bones cracking just from the sheer force of the strikes.

She managed to stumble out of the way of a punch coming straight for her face only for his fist to smash straight into the glass window and shatter it. Causing his hand and arm to be cut up and bleeding.

What scared the mare the most was that he was not even reacting to the pain. He slowly turned his head towards her and he had a crazed look in his eyes as he came as he slowly walked towards.

Her partner managed to throw the dog off of her to which she got up and cradle her bleeding arm as the dog ran back to its master’s side and growled at the two burglars.

Unbeknownst to Tommy, Blade Dancer was pounding on the door trying to get in. Seeing the whole thing.

“Shit the guards are here!” Cat Burglar said as she saw two more guards join Blade Dancer in trying to get the door open.

Blade Dancer kept trying to get Tommy’s attention but it was like he was completely out of it and he couldn’t hear her.

He lunged at the mare and smashed his fist into her face and wrestled the baton from her grip just as the other mare came running up behind him trying to knock him out only for him to turn around and give a flurry of strikes with the weapon.

He struck her in the ribs, stomach, and face repeatedly.

Safe Cracker slumped to the ground knocked out, but before he could continue attack, a vase was smashed over his head by the other mare.

The strike managed to knock Tommy out of his flashback induced trance. He shakily got up and saw the mare pulling off her mask frightened and terrified as she had tears streaming down her face as she was propping herself up against a wall for support.

“P-Please… We g-give up… Please don’t k-kill us.” She sobbed.

Saban was next to Tommy whimpering at her master being hurt.

At that moment the door was kicked open by the guards who rushed in.

They quickly apprehended the two mares and quickly took them to the hospital.

As the guards went to help Tommy, Blade Dancer quickly stopped them.

“Wait, he was having a PTSD flash back. Touching him might set him off again.” She said as she slowly walked up to Tommy.

“Tommy? Are you ok? Do you know what’s going on?” She asked with worry.

“Y-Yeah… I think so.” He stated unsure of his own answer.

Blade Dancer looked at him with worry. His face was covered in blood and his hand and arm were bleeding badly. His jaw had a blackish bruise that was forming on it. The left side of his ribs were black and purple from. The only reason why she was able to tell was because he was shirtless at the moment. How he was standing was beyond her.

“Do you know what happened?” She asked as she gently helped him to the couch as a paramedic began to treat his injuries.

“I remember hearing my alarm go off and saw those two mares breaking in. They attacked me and I fought back… They were dressed like some of the monsters that attacked me when I was little… Then I blacked out and… Now I’m here.” He mumbled as it was getting harder for him to talk with his jaw bruised.

“We need to get him to a hospital… He’s showing signs of a concussion and head injury.” The paramedic said as she went off to get a stretcher.

“I don’t need to go to the hospital... I’m fine.” He said.

“You’re going to the hospital and that’s final.” She said not with a stern look or glare. But with a worried look on her face.

As the paramedics returned with the stretcher, Blade Dancer helped him onto the stretcher.

As he was being carried out of his house, Tommy could see the elements of harmony looking at him with worry and concern. A large crowd had gathered outside seeing the town’s new teacher being taken to the hospital. Many of his students saw him being carried out of the house.

Celestia walked down the hospital halls as she headed for Tommy’s room. She had instantly taken a liking to Tommy when they first met. She didn’t know why but something about him just made him come off as an overall nice guy.

She was extremely worried over her new friend.

Instead of sending her a letter like she always did, Twilight instead called Celestia on her cellphone. Despite how many times she told Twilight to call her whenever she wanted so they could just talk over whatever, Twilight only ever called her in emergencies.

Twilight was barely forming words as she frantically explained the situation.

She didn’t know why two mares would break into a lone stallion’s house and hurt him but it made her blood boil. To make matters worse the two mares managed to somehow escape the hospital when the guards weren’t looking despite their injuries.

All they got out of them before they escaped was that they were hired to steal some coins from the ‘human’ they said that they were hired by someone in Ponyville but that was as much as they got. None of the guards could remember their faces or names which means they must have had some enchanted items on them that hid their identities.

But with those wounds it’s going to be tough for them to get far away in a short amount of time. The guards were still looking but she doubted that they would find them.

As she entered the human’s room she saw the Elements of Harmony standing around the human’s room along with Barbara and Blade Dancer.

“How is he?” Celestia asked.

“I’m fine if that’s what you want to know.” Tommy said.

She turned her attention to the human in the hospital bed.

“Tommy, I thought you would be sleeping- MOTHER OF EVERYTHING GOOD AND RIGHT!” She gasped as she saw the bruises all over his face and body. But what got her most was all of the scars on his body.

The medical files said he had scars from prior injuries. But she never knew he had this many on his body.

All Tommy had on were some hospital pants that were given to him along with a necklace that had a coin on it that he absolutely refused to take off.

“Tommy! How did you get all of those scars? Did those two mares due this to you?” She asked.

“Huh, oh no these happened a longs time ago during the monster attacks at Angel Grove.” He said like it was nothing.

“I am pretty certain some of those are sword slashes.” She said only for Tommy to shrug it off.

“Some of those monsters had weapons.” He said.

Celestia composed herself as she looked at the badly injured man who was laying in the bed.

“Tommy, I came as soon as I heard what happened.” She said as she sat on the edge of the bed.

“Didn’t think I would be getting robbed.” He said as he looked around the room.

“I’m sorry that happened to you. My guards are looking for them as we speak.” She said comfortingly.

“They escaped?” Rarity gasped.

“Unfortunately yes they had some enchantments on them to make anyone who saw them forget their identities and their names. So identifying them is going to be very difficult.” He said as they turned their attention back to the man.

“What happened when they broke in?” She asked.

Tommy told her what he could remember while Blade dancer filled in the blanks.

“What made you have a flash back?” Celestia asked only for Tommy to look at her hestiantly before answering.

“...They looked like Putty Patrollers.” He said with a sigh.

“Putty what?” Pinkie Pie asked with a tilt of her head.

“Putty Patrollers… They were basically the foot soldiers for the monsters that were the most common that you would run into. They are fast, strong, but dumb as a sack of hammers when it came to anything besides fighting.” He said.

“You mean the monster attacks were not just some random attacks but a well-organized invasion?” Celestia asked.

“No, it wasn’t. It was a well-organized invasion that was planned by a being who was sealed away on the moon for ten-thousand years.” He said catching Celestia’s attention as it brought back some very bad memories.

“I gave Twilight a book on the whole invasion and the history of it.” Tommy added.

“I just finished it yesterday in fact!” She said with a smile.

“An evil space empress by the name of Rita Repulsa managed to escape from her imprisonment on the moon that was found by two astronauts. Astronauts are basically space explorers who landed on Earth’s moon.” Twilights stated as she went into lecture mode. Everypony in the room were stunned that Tommy’s race was able to go to the stars let alone the moon.

Celestia politely motioned for Twilight to continue.

“When the monsters first attacked the humans had a lot of trouble to even defend themselves. The military barely stood a chance and that was against the weakest forces. But when all hope was lost, a group of super heroes came out of nowhere and fought off the monsters and managed to defeat them time and time again.” Twilight said as she used her magic to make the book appear in her hands and read from it.

“So they defended the world from this evil space empress. What rank do they hold in your countries government and your world’s government for that matter?” Celestia asked as the thought of alien invaders made her fear for her little ponies’ safety.

“They hold no rank within any of the world’s governments.” Tommy answered.

“What? But surely they work for the government or some similar entity?” She asked bewildered at the answer he gave her.

“Actually from what the book says, the Power Rangers helped out everypony and protected any and everypony that they could. The government worked with the power rangers when they first appeared because it was in their best interest in fighting the monsters and aliens that were bent on conquering the planet as that was their only hopes.” Twilight explained before looking back at the book.

“But when the first few waves of monsters were defeated the government wanted the Power Rangers to work for them. They thought that with their powers they could somehow study them and reproduce their powers and use it as a weapon against Rita and her forces before they could launch another attack on the earth.” She explained.

“Did they take the offer?” She asked.

“No.” Tommy answered.

“What?! But that makes no sense! They both had the same goals? Wouldn’t it make more sense to work together?” Celestia answered confused.

“In most cases it would be smart to team up. But in this situation, there were some problems. One, the power that the Power Rangers had was almost impossible to copy, some of the groups that managed to create them broke off into separate groups of their own and even then their powers weren't as strong as the originals, basically they were imitation power rangers. Two, they had no idea who they were. Three, which is the biggest reason of all, the government wanted to use the Power Rangers as nothing more than weapons. They planned on using them as their own personal weapons after Rita and her forces were permanently dealt with.” Tommy explained making Celestia gasp.

The government was trying to take advantage of a bunch of heroes who went out of their way to do the right thing. They were trying to take advantage of their kindness and make them nothing more than puppets.

“The Power Rangers refused their offer knowing what was really planned. They cut off all ties with the government and decided they were better off on their own. Unfortunately the government didn’t like the answer.” He said before taking a pause and taking a deep breath.

“To the public it would seem that the government accepted their answer but in reality they sent elite groups to spy on them and capture them and bring them back against their will. They tried to find personal information on them like who they were.” He said.

“Did they ever find out the Power Rangers’ identities?” Celestia asked.

“No, but they came very close quite a few times. All they managed to find out were a few things like their age range.” He said.

“How old were the Power Rangers?” Celestia asked with curiosity.

“It was believed that they were between the ages of 13 to 15 years old. But for a pony I guess that would be between the ages of 130 to 150 years old. Better yet, imagine them no older than the Cutie Mark Crusaders.” He said as he tried to give them a better idea due to the differences in age.(3)

Everyone in the room gasped.

“You mean they were no older than foals!” Rarity shrieked, imagining the horrifying thoughts of Sweetie Belle and her friends trying to get their cutie marks in something like that.

“But why? Why would they be forced to do such a job?” Celestia asked with a look of sadness on her face.

“They were never forced. Their powers chose them. They were given the choice to back out at any time. They could have quit or refused to even do anything. But they chose to fight for the greater good.” Tommy sighed as he felt even more exhausted with countless memories coming to his mind.(4)

Celestia had tears welling up in her eyes, thinking of all the hardships that the children must have went through. The girls had similar expressions.

“Are you alright?” Tommy asked.

“Yes, I’m alright. Just saddened by the fact that foals had to go through such hard ships.” She said as she regained their composure.

“The main reason why I came here is because I needed to check on you. I’m sorry this happened to you.” Celestia said as she remembered why she came to the hospital in the first place.

“Don’t worry about it.” He said.

“No, we do need to worry about it! This was a very close call! What do you plan on doing the next time if they come after you again?” Rarity said in a very upset tone.

“Next time I’ll make sure to grab my gun when someone breaks in.” He said only to realize that he said the wrong thing at the wrong time.

“We think not! The doctor said you were already hurt badly before those two brutes attacked! Care to explain yourself young stallion?” Luna said as she walked into the room.

“I trained just a little too hard.” Tommy said while feigning an innocent smile.

Luna narrowed her eyes at him, not believing him. But she let it slide.

“Be that as it may, you are still hurt. This is a very serious matter yet you do not take it seriously.” She said clearly upset.

“But I-” Tommy tried to voice his opinion but Luna didn't give him the chance.

“You are a stallion living without a herd all on his own. Not to mention you are only 28 ate years old! Younger than most foals! Then there is the fact that you are an endangered species!” The lunar princess ranted.

“I think what Luna is trying to say is that you should take this matter more seriously. That's why we will be having the guards patrolling around your home more often and watching it so that this does not happen.” Celestia explained, defusing the whole situation.

“I understand.” Tommy said, realizing that it was pointless to argue.

As Celestia went to talk to the doctor, she came back in and stood in front of Tommy with her arms crossed under her massive breasts. Tapping her hoof on the ground as if she were a mother waiting for an explanation from there child.

“What is this that I here that you won't let the staff scan you to check if you are alright?” She said with a look that showed she wasn't happy but she wasn't angry either. Just very concerned.

“They said I had to remove my necklace.” He answered.

“Nothing is going to happen to it.” Rarity said.

“It's not that simple... I've had this thing when I was 14. It's been lost for many years but I managed to find it not too long ago... It means a lot to me.” Tommy said as he grabbed the gold coin that hung from the chain around his neck.

Rarity saw the man roll the coin between his fingers almost as a coping mechanism.

“I'll hold onto it for you.” Rarity said.

Tommy raised an eyebrow at this.

“I make sure I stay right here in front of you the whole time while they scan you so you can see that it is safe. Okay darling?” Rarity said. Tommy wanted to protest but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to. When he looked into her beautiful sapphire blue eyes along with her smile, he felt his resolve fade away.

“Alright.” He said reluctantly as he handed the necklace to her.

True to her word, Rarity stood right in front of him as the doctor used her magic to scan his body.

As the staff performed their examination, Rarity examined the coin that was on the necklace.

It was a beautiful gold coin that had the emblem of a dragon's foot print on it.

“Oooooh! It's so shiny and neat!” Pinkie said as Twilight and the girls all looked at it as well.

“When did you get this Tommy? It's simply gorgeous!” Rarity said as she admired the coin/necklace.

“I got it when I was living in Angel Grove. A little after I first moved there. I gave it to my best friend at some point but something happened which caused it to go missing for years until I found it a few years back.” He explained as the staff finished up.

Rarity handed the necklace back to the man who put it back on.

Tommy wore his power coin out of sentimental value, in reality it was just a relic. It no longer had any power anymore. How he managed to do one last morph when he fought the Armada was still beyond him.

“It looks like your be staying here for a few days for observation.” The doctor said.

“Crap.” He groaned

“Cheer up! We visit you Tommy!” Pinkie said as she hugged the injured man, making sure to be careful and not hurt him.

“Alright Pinkie. I guess that does cheer me up.” Tommy said as Pinkie giggled happily as she nuzzled him. As the girls left for the night they all said there good byes and hugged him accompanied by nuzzles before they left.

Celestia said that she would have her guards and fix his house while he was in the hospital.

Fluttershy said that she would feed and take care of Saban while he was gone.

The room was dark as he tried to relax. The sound of a nurse making her rounds was heard every so often.

“How could I have let myself get the crap kicked out of me like that? It was because I was hurt from training so much a few days ago. I need to train more.” Was what kept going through his mind.

“I can't keep thinking like that. I need to just relax and get some sleep.” he thought.

Across the hall way from him were a group of foals that obviously were supposed to be sleeping and recovering but they managed to sneak into there friends room and had there own make shift mini sleep over.

He could hear there soft giggles as they hid from Nurse Red Heart under the covers.

He couldn't help but smile at their antics as he found his mind wondering back to the sailor scouts. He noticed that his mind had been wondering back to the sailor scouts a lot that day.

Tommy sat around in Serena's room along with the other Sailor Scouts.

The girls were having a sleep over and they invited Tommy to hang out with them for the night.

The young man looked around the room awkwardly. He was alone in a room filled with a bunch of beautiful exotic girls.

“So Tommy, what's it like being a power ranger?” Ray asked as she grabbed a chip from the bowl and popped it into her mouth.

“It's cool I guess. I mean if you like fighting monsters all the time.” He said awkwardly.

“So what other powers do you have?” Amy asked.

“Well, my power armor protects me from weak energy blasts and bullets and most bladed weapons. I have a few energy based attacks. Also, my speed and strength and speed increase greatly.” He said.

“That's amazing! Do you have any other powers?” Serena asked.

“... My Dragon Dagger works as a flute.” Tommy said.

“What do you mean it works as a flute?” Lita asked.

“Just what I said, it's actually my most powerful attack.” He explained.

The girls were all silent for a moment before they all broke out into uncontrollable laughter.

Tommy was getting frustrated by this.

“Like that could do anything.” Mina said between her laughs.

“It's true! I'm not lying!” He protested.

“Suuure you are.” Serena said sarcastically.

“That's it!” Tommy said as he summoned his Dragon Dagger and put it to his lips.

As he played the dagger. A loud series of trumpets could be heard echoing throughout the area.

“...That was nice and all but I don't think it would really proved any-” Amy was interrupted.

BOOM!

…

BOOM!

…

BOOM!

Then at that moment the girls heard a loud roar.

The girls all looked out the window and saw a giant mechanical dragon come walking out of the ocean off in the distance.

The girls mouths hung open in shock and terror.

“What is that?!” The girls shouted.

“KIDS! KIDS! WE NEED TO HAUL ASS! MECHA GODZILLA IS OUTSIDE AND HE'S ON STEROIDS!” Serena's mother said as her and Tommy's mother came rushing into the room and lead the kids outside.

As they all stood outside they looked around and saw that the whole neighborhood was outside of their houses as the Dragonzord came closer to the city.

“Tommy, do something!” Ray hissed.

Tommy focused for a moment.

“Dragonzord. There is no danger here. Go back to the sea and rest.” He thought to which the Dragonzord stopped and slowly turned around and went back into the sea.

Around that time Tommy heard a mother talking to her son.

“Tai, is this another one of those things that you found in that place called the digital world?” The mother said with worry in her voice.

“No, this isn't a digimon. That was something I never seen before.” The boy who wore goggles on his forehead that kept his messy brown hair out of his eyes said to his mother in an attempt to calm her down.

“Hey, who's that?” Tommy asked.

“That's Taichi Kamiya, but everyone calls him Tai. Trust me, him and his friends have a very interesting story of what they did last summer.” Serena said with a giggle.(5)

“You know what, I'm tired right now so I'm not even going to ask.” Tommy sighed as he rubbed his eyes.

“How can you just summon that amazing machine with nothing but your dagger like that?” Amy asked.

“At this point, all I can say is this. I have a dagger that doubles as a flute which can summon a giant mechanical dragon that has missiles for fingers. All arguments are pointless because I win in this argument, my power is not stupid.” He said with a smirk spreading across is face now that he beat the girls in their argument.

“Maybe in that argument but not in this one.” Ray said with a mischievous smile spreading across her face.

“Oh yeah and what would that be?” He asked.

“This.” She said as she turned to Tommy's mother and shouted.

“Mrs. Oliver-san! Tommy got hit by a car earlier!” She shouted.

Tommy's mother quickly ran to him and immediately began to panic as she went into mother mode and checked him. She nearly keeled over when she saw the huge black bruise on his side.

“WHAT!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER!” She shouted as she ran to get help.

“This day could not get any more stressful.” He groaned.

At that moment a cat with a golden crescent moon on her forehead came up to Serena.

“Serena, are you alright? What was that thing?” She asked.

“HOLY SHIT! DID THAT CAT JUST FUCKING TALK!!!” Tommy screamed at the top of his lungs.

As he lay in bed alone in the now dark room, Tommy absentmindedly ran his fingers over his power coin. Not realizing that his power coin was faintly glowing green in the pitch black room as he fell asleep.

Spoiled Rich was pissed. She was stomping around her mansion in anger.

“Those idiots! How could they fail such a simple task! I had to pay them quite a bit only for them to fail!” She shouted.

“Those coins should be mine. Only I should have such money and power!”

“I need to think of something... Yes, I think that would work. Yes, that would work.” Spoiled Rich said as an idea came to her.

“All I have to do is get close to him and win him over ... Besides, no stallion can resist me.” She said with a smirk.

Radlog was watching the little town of Ponyville from a distance as he tapped his finger on his swords hilt.

“Do they know we are here?” Chrysalis asked.

“No.” He said simply.

“This town doesn't have anywhere near as many guards as Canterlot or Manehattan.” He added.

“Any activity from the guards?” Radlog asked one of the changeling spies.

“The only activity to report is that they responded to a burglary. Some stallion got hurt. Nothing to worry about. He's just a nobody.” The female changeling said as she waved it off.

“Are you sure?” He asked as he gave her stare that said he would skin her alive if she were wrong.

“Y-Yes sir! I made sure! He got the crap kicked out of him! He's just some random stallion!” She said quickly.

“Good.” He as he waved her off.

“How long before the attack Queen Chrysalis?” He asked.

“Soon. We just need to get everything prepared and wait for the right time.” She said.

“I can't help but wonder something.” He said.

“What's that?” Chrysalis looked at him.

“Why not just send in some spies to snatch them up when they least suspect it?” He asked as he sharpened his sword.

“Celestia has set up some safety measures that would easily stop me or any of my spies from doing that. The reason why I brought so many changelings with me is so that I can break the ward on this town. You see, if we were to just charge in right now, the wards would activate and send a whole regiment of Equestria's most elite guards lead by Shining Armor himself.” She said as he nodded in understanding.

“So you brought this whole group of changelings so that they could channel their magic into you so that you can slowly take down the ward without anyone knowing, instead of using all of your magic to break it instantly and alerting the whole country while leaving yourself completely drained and a sitting duck. Plus you have the back up to help you if anything goes wrong along with being able to search the entire area faster due to the sheer numbers on your side. Smart.” He said as he ran his sharpening stone along the blade of his sword.

“Y-Yes.” The changeling queen said as she was surprised that he got the plan so easily without her explaining all of the details.

“It seems your mother has trained you well... I have to ask how you came to be? The only naturally born changeling prince?” She asked.

“I was birthed, simple as that.” He said.

“I see...” She said as silence filled the air.

“What about your original hive. What happened to them, I know they starved but what happened exactly?” She asked as Atir never went into to much detail about the matter. Only telling her the bare minimum of what happened and said that the rest was too painful.

“They died from the lack of resources due to them not having enough love.” He said as he checked his swords blade but was not satisfied with it's sharpness before he went back to sharpening it again, the whole time acting as if the entire subject was nothing more than a petty annoyance.

Chrysalis was taken aback by his cold demeanor, he acted as if the death of his whole hive were nothing more than an annoying inconvenience.

She would have said something but quite frankly she felt unnerved by him. The whole time she sensed what felt like a colossal amount of blood-lust radiating off of him. She shrugged it off.

She decided to get back to getting the preparations ready for taking down the ward around the town and the Elements of Harmony. Something was definitely off about him but he had done nothing to warrant any distrust or appear as a threat to her or her hive so she chalked it up to him just having a scary personality.

“Stand guard of the camp Radlog.” She ordered to which he put away his sharpening stone and sheathed his sword and did as he was told with out question.

As she walked off, Radlog glared at her with eyes colder than ice.

“Soon. Once you've outlived your usefulness, I'll finally be able to rip you to shreds.” He thought as an evil smile formed on his face. No one noticing that all of his teeth became razor sharp and pointed.

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Please put down your weapons and sharp instruments and blunt objects. I know I took to long on this but there was a very good reason.

My laptop died. She will be missed. But thankfully I got a new one and it is far better than the old one. I managed to save everything on my old laptop just before it went down so I kept everything including the progress I have on all my stories.

Also, I noticed everyone was wanting me to write about how Tommy knew Sailor Moon so there you go. Sorry that there were so many flashbacks in this chapter. Hope you liked it. Also, don't worry, Dragon Ceaser is coming soon.

Laptop, you will be missed. I did what you would want me to do... I deleted my browsing history... Thoroughly... VERY THOROUGHLY!

Also, my sister and brother are moving so I'm helping them out. But enough about that.

I should be able to work faster now because I just got a new laptop. The whole time I've been typing this up at the local library.

Anyway, I decided to do something a little different on this chapter. After reading My Little Naruto by Madhat886. I decided to put in some foot notes. I I was wondering what you all would think.

(1) The reason why Tommy's laptop has an unrealistic amount of memory is because after earth fought the monsters, it would make sense that the government would confiscate any and all alien technology they could find. This lead to advancements in a lot of things. One of them being computers.

(2) Though in the show we see sparks flying off of the power rangers body whenever they are hit. That's not how real life works. Blood would be flying everywhere. Just because the power rangers have super bad ass armor/suits/spandex, doesn't mean it's indestructible. Also due to it being a tight form fitting outfit means that whatever gets through will be able to a lot of damage because the armor is not as thick as heavier armor, which also mean it has weak points and spots on it just like any armor.

Also, the reason why the monsters/aliens are able to damage the power rangers while most regular weapons do not is because in the show the bad guys were always shown as an advanced alien race that had high technology levels. Mean they had stronger weapons.

(3) Despite not being forced and volunteering to be power rangers. The power rangers still are technically child soldiers if you think about it. Anyone who is a minor participating in armed conflict is technically a child soldier. Just saying.

(4)Keep in mind that in this fic, the Power Rangers Universe is much darker and grittier than the show. In reality the government would naturally want to get their hands on the power rangers so they could copy there powers for themselves. In the beginning they wouldn't because they needed them so they could fight Rita and Zedd's forces. But as they began to gain the advantage and push back the enemy, they would try to take advantage of the temporary peace and get them on their side with promises of wealth and power. But Zordon would naturally warn them about this.

Now I know what you are all going to say. That in seasons like Light Speed Rescue those rangers were working for the government. Quite frankly I never could get past the few episodes that I managed to force myself to watch of it, I don't hate it or anything but it just wasn't my cup of tea. But in my opinion how hard would it be for the government to find some teenagers or anyone for that matter who just so happened to stumble across a morpher or be given their powers without anyone like Zordon to guide them and warn them when they have no experience at all.

They would most likely be discovered and tricked into joining some agency. All the government would have to do is trick them into joining them by making them think that they are fighting for some great cause or being bribed or threatened to fight. While that would be true to a certain extent due to them fighting evil aliens and monsters. They would still be nothing more than a tool to fight enemies.

This is just my opinion though. That being said it's just what I think would happen though. I will be sticking to Power Ranger cannon as best as I can, as well as working some of the lore into the story as well. In my opinion I think Tommy would try to get in contact with the few rangers that were working for the government and get them on his side. It would make sense considering how he got them all together for the huge team up in the Super Mega Force fight against the Armada.

(5) Serena just so happens to know about Tai and his friends adventures. They happen to be friends since they live across the street from each other. Besides doesn't it make sense to make an alliance with other people who just so happen to have powers or be heroes as well? Also, I loved Digimon as a child!

Let me know if I should do more cliff notes like this in the next chapters from now on.

Well, now its time to go and work on the next chapter of A Swordsman's Path to Redemption then on Second Chances for Death's Friends.
