Chapter 3 – The Legend Returns

Tommy was lying in bed in his room at the command center. He looked around the room for moment as he thought about how everything led to this…Ten tons of algebra homework. Why did the principle have to be a total bastard?

But before he could get any further, the command center’s alarm went off.

“Rangers! A monster attack has been sighted towards the desert!” Zordon’s voice boomed.

“I’m the only one here Zordon. Alpha, bring it up on screen.” Tommy ordered as he leapt out of bed, thankful to be away from his homework.

On the giant computer screen a live feed of the nearby desert was shown. Explosions went off left and right. But there was too much smoke. Figures could be seen in the smoke but Tommy could not make out who or what they were.

“Who is that?” He asked.

“I have no idea, but from the looks of it, there is definitely something off. My sensors are not picking up any of Rita’s monsters.” Zordon explained.

“I’m going to check it out.” Tommy said as he pulled on a hooded jacket.

“Please be careful. We don’t know who or what is there.” Zordon advised.

“I understand.” Tommy said as he walked over to the counter and grabbed his Cyber Sword. Or as Billy called it, The Power Sword (1).

It was a collapsible short sword with a 2-foot-long blade. He shoved it into the back of his belt, grabbed his gear, and teleported in a bolt of green lightning.

He appeared on top of a cliff in the middle of the nearby canyon just outside of Angel Grove. The sun was bearing down on him.

Pulling out a pair of binoculars, he used the cliff as a vantage point.

In the distance, he saw where the explosions took place. He saw nothing but craters and foot prints.

Something’s not right. Somebody was definitely here. But the question is, where are they now?

Tommy tied a bandana around his mouth to cover his face and pulled his hood over his head. Hiding his face entirely except for his eyes.

Tommy teleported in a bolt of green lightning down to the craters. His boots crunching the gravel under his feet.

Looking around he found nothing… But something found him.

“Aw, I see one of the power rangers have arrived.”

With inhuman speeds, Tommy drew his sword. The blade flipped out into its ready position. Pointed at the person behind him.

The blade was pointed at a woman dressed in a black suit, her hair was blonde and went down to her shoulders. Her eyes were an icy blue that were wide in not fear but excitement.

“Who are you?” Tommy demanded.

“Someone that is very interested in your future.” She said as two men with assault rifles trained on him came out from behind one of the rock formations.

Before they could even order him to lower his sword, Tommy had closed the distance and sliced their guns in half along with their pistols strapped to their thighs.

“I’m not going to ask again. Who are you!” Tommy demanded.

“I’m agent Smith of the CIA.” She said calmly.

“It seems that fancy battle armor of yours isn’t the only power you have. No human can move that fast.” She analyzed.

“What makes you think I’m a power ranger?” he said as he kept his blade ready just in case the two men tried to lunge at him.

“You appeared out in the middle of an area where the was a possible monster attack as a bolt of green lightning. Then you moved at lightning fast speeds and sliced two of my agent’s guns in half.” She said in a matter of fact tone.

“What do you want?”

“The government has been very interested in you and your friends. You are the only ones that have been able to successfully fight back the monsters effectively.” She stated seriously.

Tommy didn’t say anything for a moment. He needed to tread carefully.

“You’ve been after us for a while now. I don’t like being tricked. None of us do.” He said.

“I’m sorry, but faking a monster attack was the only way that we could get in contact with you.” She said.

“I’m going to be honest. Your abilities have given us an edge against these alien invaders. And I can tell just by looking at that thing that, that is no normal sword. It’s obvious you possess some very advanced technology and weapons.” Agent Smith added.

“We actually know what we’re fighting.” He said taking a relaxed stance. By no means was he letting his guard down. He found that he could move and react better if he stayed relaxed and ready.

“Exactly! You know a lot about the enemy. We can only react after an attack happens but you manage to know where they are most likely to strike, meaning you have learned about their strategies and habits.” She said.

“What are you proposing?” He asked.

“We team up. Together we could take down these things and protect the world.” She said with a smile that seemed empty.

“How do I know you won’t try something? A minute ago, you were all excited and talking about my powers. For all I know you just want to capture me and the other rangers and make us into some experiments or weapons.” He scoffed.

“We’re willing to compensate you and your friends.” She said as one of the men handed over a suitcase to agent Smith.

“Here. A sign of good faith.” She said as she held it out to him.

“What’s in the briefcase?” He asked, expecting a trap.

She flicked the latches on it, opening it up to show that it was filled with money.

Tommy had to admit, he had never seen so much money in his life. But he knew it was a trap.

“See, just a little gift. So, what do you say?” She said with a smirk as she closed the suit case. Knowing she caught his interest.

Tommy didn’t trust this woman at all. But he had to be careful, for all he knew she had a sniper with a set of cross hairs trained on his skull. For all he knew the money was rigged with a tracking device.

He tossed the briefcase onto the ground in front of her. Surprising the agent.

“W-Was there not enough?” She asked surprised.

“We’re not mercenaries.” He said with anger.

“I see…” She said clearly not happy.

“We just want you to attend a meeting to talk with our higher ups. All you have to do is show up. If it makes you feel any better it will be on national television in front of everyone, so you don’t need to worry about us trying anything.” She sighed.

“… I’ll talk to the others.” He said before walking off.

“Meet us at the City Hall in one week at 8 PM.” She said to which he nodded before teleporting in a bolt of lightning.

Tommy told the team about Agent Smith and her offer. Zordon knew that the agents had ulterior motives. But he knew that they would need to go to this so-called meeting. He made sure to inform them to be careful as anything could happen, even if they were going to be on live television.

When the time had finally come for the meeting. Camera crews were set up in front of the city hall, waiting for the power rangers to appear. There were reporters being held back by police as the public waited with baited breath to see what would happen.

Military and government officials waited outside of the City Hall of Angel Grove waiting for their ‘guests of honor’ to arrive.

Then out of nowhere, appearing in six bolts of lightning were the power rangers. The crowd went wild as they saw their heroes appear in front of them in flashes of multicolored lightning.

Reporters were shouting for in an attempt to get the rangers attention for a comment.

A young blonde woman that was dressed in a white dress shirt and a black business skirt ran up to the rangers. From the looks of it she was most likely one of the government officials’ personal secretaries.

The woman quickly gestured for them to follow them her as they made their way up the city hall steps.

The crowd quickly quieted down as they came to a podium where a man with greying hair. He looked to be in his mid to late 50’s and he were a standard Army BDU’s. The man’s rank showed that he was a General in the US Army.

Standing next to him was Agent Smith.

The rangers stood to the side as the mayor came up to the podium and made a long-winded speech about how humanity was standing strong against the alien invasion and winning as they pushed back the invasion. As well as to vote for him during the next election.

“Dear God, does this guy ever shut up!” Jason shouted inside of his helmet. Only the other rangers could hear him thanks to the special radio in it that allowed them to talk to each other without anyone else hearing them. It could read there thought patterns and tell when they wanted the conversation to be private or when they wanted others to hear them.

“How long has he been talking. It feels like it’s been hours!” Trini whined. Still not feeling well after just getting out of the hospital. She was dead tired and could still feel the effects of the injury Goldar inflicted upon her.

“It’s only been 10 minutes.” Tommy sighed.

The mayor wrapped up his speech and the rangers were led inside the building.

“I thought this was going to be on live television.” Tommy said to Agent Smith as she led them to a meeting room with the general walking behind them.

“I did, which you saw was true outside. But you can’t expect us to have matters of national security being discussed out in the open and on camera no less.” She said with a smile that pissed Tommy off. Luckily the rangers expected this.

They approached a set of double doors to which two soldiers armed with assault rifles standing guard, opened for them.

Upon entering the conference room, they saw a man and a woman sitting at the table. Both wearing business suits before being joined by the general at the table.

“Please, have a seat power rangers.” The general said to which the rangers did silently.

“Care for anything to drink? Perhaps some soda or whisky if that’s more your thing?” Agent Smith asked as she entered the room.

“No thanks. Too young for that stuff.” Trini yawned. Only to quickly realize what she just said.

All eyes focused on them. Tommy wanted to face palm. This was the first time any of them had been in this situation. Mistakes were bound to be made. But not like this.

“So, you’re a teenager. Very interesting as well as concerning.” The general said.

“Allow me to introduce myself. I am General Thomas C. Spears of the United States Army.” General Spears introduced himself.

“I’m Agent Cecilia Johnson of the NSA.” The woman in the suit said.

“I’m Agent Michael D. Wolf of the FBI.” The man in the suit explained.

“And I’m Agent Smith of the CIA but your leader already knows that.” Smith said a smile that didn’t seem right.

“With introductions, out of the way. Let’s get to why we have called you all here.” General Spears said.

“We have been battling these aliens for quite some time. I will not lie. We have been struggling just to hold our own.” He continued.

“Imagine our surprise when you all came along in bolts of lightning and began tearing apart the monsters as if they were nothing.”

The rangers eyed the man as he paused for a moment before continuing.

“You have turned the tide of battle in this war. Every time those things attack, you’re there. But what surprised me the most was the fact that you were all fighting these things before they ever made their presence known to the world. Any particular reason for that?” The soldier asked.

“We have been fighting for the last two years. We tried to inform the government but they didn’t exactly believe any of the messages we were sending. It was only last year when the government realized the threat when we couldn’t contain the battle, resulting in the world finding out.” The blue ranger explained.

“Yes… It is kind of hard to cover up a giant robot battle.” He sighed.

“Let’s cut the crap and get to the reason why you really wanted to talk to us.” Jason said.

“Very well. We want you to work with us. With your technology and powers along with our resources and numbers we could win this war.” He said.

“That’s nice and all but what’s the catch?” Tommy asked.

“You have technology and powers that we need to win this war.” Agent Wolf said.

“We’ve seen your exploits. You all have been fighting and winning. You know where and when these things are going to strike. You know their chain of command. You know way more than we do.” Agent Johnson explained.

“The one who is leading them is called Rita Repulsa, she’s the brains behind the whole invasion.” Tommy began to explain. He didn’t trust them but they needed the information if they were going to be able to have a chance against Rita.

“What can you tell us about her?” General Spears asked as Agent Johnson began to take notes.

For the next hour, the rangers gave all the information that they had on Rita and her forces as well as any information on her second in command, Goldar.

“This is what she looks like.” Billy said as he touched a button on the wrist of his power armor. Making a hologram of Rita pop up along with Goldar.

Everyone’s eye widened at the site of the technology.

“Thank you, now onto our next order of business. Your technology. Going by what the yellow ranger said earlier and by Agent Smith’s assumption about you. I’m guessing you’re all teenagers.” The NSA agent said.

“Maybe we are. Maybe we aren’t.” Tommy said.

“We don’t like the idea of teens running around the with super natural powers as you can see. We have reached a point where you have pushed back the enemy. We have time to plan and get ready. The question is, what happens when the fighting starts again. What if they attack someplace other than Angel Grove? You can’t be in two places at once.” Spears explained.

The rangers knew he was right. Rita and her forces were only attacking Angel Grove. How long would it be before she started attacking other cities and countries.

Zordon had talked with the teens before the meeting and gave them a list of technology that they could give to the governments in order to fight off Rita and her forces.

“You make a valid point General. That is why we brought some of the technology we’ve confiscated from Rita and her forces.” Tommy said as he pressed a button on his glove.

In a flash of light a bunch of futuristic technology unlike anything the General and Agents had ever seen before appeared on the table.

Billy teleported a bunch of blue prints that he had on the tech after taking it apart and examining it.

“This should tell you everything about it and how to recreate it.” Billy explained before a group of soldiers walked in and gathered up the tech before exiting the room.

“Now the main reason why you are all here. We don’t like the idea of a bunch of super powered teens running around unsupervised.” Spears said.

“What’s that supposed to mean.” Zack said not liking where the conversation was going.

“Despite you’re help and cooperation with us. You are all unknowns. For all we know you could go rogue.” Agent Johnson said.

“You’re all teenagers with powers beyond belief. Not to mention you command giant mechanized beast that could level an entire city.” Agent Wolf said with an upset look.

None of the teens liked this. This was going bad and quick.

“For us to work together, we need to know who we are working with.” General Spears stated.

“We are not revealing our identities.” Kimberly stated. The helmet masking her voice.

“If we were planning on going rogue why would we be helping you through all of this shit that’s been happening.” Tommy growled, his anger rising.

“You would be compensated for your service. You would just be working for us.” Agent Wolf added.

Tommy noticed the how he said ‘for us’.

“It’s not about the money. You want to us to work for your as your own personal weapons.” Tommy retorted.

“What are you talking about?” Agent Smith said convincingly.

“Don’t bullshit us. We took a look into your data bases and found why you want us to ‘work together’.” Tommy said, thankful for Billy’s hacking skills.

“We know your intentions behind this meeting. You decided to take advantage of the temporary retreat of the monsters thinking you get a hold of us.” He said to the now furious General.

“Then why did you come here if you knew.” The General seethed.

“Simple, to protect the world we needed to give you the means to fight the aliens. That’s why we gave you the technology.” Tommy said before they all teleported out of the building.

“How did they hack our systems?” Agent Smith asked.

“I don’t know but they don’t seem to know about the project.” The General said.

“Once the project is finished we won’t need the power rangers. But until then, we’ll just have to leave them be, all we can do is observe them... For now.” He added.

It had been a week since Tommy got out of the hospital. The second he got out he went straight to training. He was angry. Very angry.

All that could be heard was the whirling of the bo staff that he was swinging at blinding speeds as he trained.

All of his friends were worried about him. Many tried getting him to talk about the attack but after that night he didn’t say anything more about it.

“I need to get strong like I use to be.” Was all that he was thinking.

Saban just watched as she saw the man training as she lay on the ground simply watching him.

“This isn’t getting me anywhere.” He thought as he stopped for a moment.

“I have to change up my routine.” He thought as he put he set the staff aside.

“There has to be something that can get me stronger. But I don’t have my powers.” He sighed.

Tommy turned towards Saban and looked at the dog as she wagged her tail happily.

“Come on girl, let’s go for a run.” He said to which the dog barked happily.

Tommy walked out the door with Saban following close behind him.

The man went out of his house and started jogging on the dirt path to that ran through the town as he felt memories of his memories of his prime come back to him.

Saban ran right alongside him the whole time as he jogged five miles until he went out of Ponyville and came to a clearing in the middle of White Tail woods. It was a peaceful place that looked like it was perfect for training in seclusion. But he looked at the time and realized that it was later than he expected. He had talked to twilight about helping Equestria to advance some of its knowledge and technology.

He jogged back with Saban running beside him as he made his way home.

Tommy walked through the door to his house as he saw his friends all waiting for him.

“Your back.” Twilight said with a smile. But that quickly turned into a look of concern.

“Hey there girls. Nice to see you again.” Tommy smiled in an attempt to quell her concern. They were all concerned about him after the break in.

“Tommy dear? Are you alright?” Rarity asked with worry.

“I’m fine.” He said with a smile. Trying to reassure her as he walked over to his computer.

“So, Twilight, you said that you wanted me to help Equestria improve its technology and science.” He said.

“Yes! Princess Celestia was hoping that you would help us with developing more advanced technology by studying some of earths technology. With your permission of course!” She said excitedly.

“Well, I thought about it for a bit. I guess I could let you examine a few things here and there. Believe it or not, I have a few extra computers around just in case this one breaks. I can give you one to examine and reverse engineer. In fact, I think I have the blue prints on my computer.” He said as he started typing on his computer.

“Along with the regular computers. I have a special blueprint for some other models of computers. In fact, I think I have the perfect model for a super computer in mind as well.” He smirked, knowing that it would get Twilight’s attention.

“WHAT! THIS ISN’T A SUPER COMPUTER?!” She shouted.

“Nope. Not by any means. The one I have in mind is a tone down version of one I found in Paris, France. I was teaching at the Kadic Academy while I was teaching abroad for a few years in Paris.” He smirked as he felt a sense of nostalgia sweep over him.

“Vous avez été pour Prance?! (You’ve been to prance?!)” Rarity asked excitedly in French.

“En effet, j’ai ma dame. (Indeed, I have my lady.)” He chuckled with a happy smile.

“A knight, cute, good natured, and cultured. He’s the whole package.” Rarity thought dreamily.

“What was the academy like?” Twilight asked.

“It was a boarding school for both junior high and high school students. It’s pretty prestigious actually. They even have a college/university for the students to go to on the campus once they graduate. In fact, a group of my students who I taught during my days there still stay in contact with me. They are currently attending college there.” He explained.

“That’s amazing! But I’m confused though by what you meant by a ‘boarding school.’” She said.

“It means that most of the students as well as teachers live there while attending and teaching classes. They live in dorms. They can choose to live alone or have a roommate. But inspections are done to make sure that the students are keeping their rooms clean and tidy.” He answered.

“Wow. Most ponies don’t do that until they reach college. But you said they are junior high students? How do they put up with not being able to see their families at that young of an age?” The lavender unicorn asked. When she went to live with the princess in the castle as her student it was extremely hard for to be away from her family, even though her family lived just a few blocks away.

By nature, ponies were very social creatures. They couldn’t stand to be alone for prolonged periods of time. In fact, the worst thing that could be done to a pony is to put them in solitary confinement. Most considered it a fate worse than death. In fact, Celestia and Luna banned it as form of punish when they founded Equestria.

That’s one of the reasons why Chrysalis is considered so cruel, she tossed Cadence down into catacombs of Canterlot all by herself for days, knowing full well the affects it would have on her. It lead to Cadence being unable to be by herself for more than a few minutes at a time.

“The parents of the students are often CEO’s and Executives that have to work overseas and in faraway countries. We make sure the kids stay in contact with their families. We have counselor’s and school doctors as well as school psychiatrists. The kids also have their friends to talk to should they ever get lonely.” He explained.

“Oh, well that’s good.” She smiled.

“But sometimes that’s not always enough.” He added.

“What do you mean?” Rarity asked.

“I had a student by the name of Yumi Ishiyama who had some problems at home. She was one of the students who lived outside of the school.”

“What kind of problems?” Fluttershy asked.

“Her parents had a very shaky marriage. They would have the occasional fight here and there but it got to the point where they would argue all the time. Screaming at each other. Things like that. It never got physical.”

“What did she do?” Pinkie asked with a sad face.

“She would often take her baby brother out of the house and go to the park or something so they could get away from it. The two were always very close. But unfortunately, it got so bad that she decided to move into the dorms with her best friend.” He said as they listened intently.

“Things seemed to get a little better for her over the coming months but she was still very depressed. Her parents asked her to comeback. She thought that they had finally worked things out but she was wrong.” He said.

“What happened?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“I heard a loud banging on my door that night. When I opened the door, her friends Ulric and Odd were screaming that Yumi was trying to kill herself by jumping off of the school roof.” He said, making the girls gasp.

“Her friend Aelita was on the roof trying to talk her down. When I got there Aelita managed to get just close enough to pull Yumi away from the roof’s edge. The poor girl just broke down sobbing in her friend’s arms.” Tommy explained sadly.

“What? How old was she?” Twilight gasped.

“Fifteen. I know that’s infant years for ponies but for us humans that’s slightly older than the Cutie Mark Crusaders.” He answered.

They all gasped as they couldn’t believe a child so young would want to end her own life.

“What happened to her?” Fluttershy asked with worry.

“As a teacher, I had to report the incident. She was taken to a psyche ward where she got the help she needed. Her parents went ballistic when I called them. The whole incident was actually the wakeup call they needed. They actually patched things ups and things are going well for them in their marriage.” He said as he typed away on his computer.

“She got better and her parents patched things up? That’s great.” Twilight said hopefully.

“She did get better, she got a lot of help from her friends. But unfortunately for her parents, Yumi distanced herself from them. She loves them but their relation is not what it used to be.” He said.

“Oh.” The girls said as their ears pressed against their heads.

“But her life has gotten a lot better. She’s 21 now and is in college and her and her best friend Ulrich are romantically together. In fact, she is a world-famous author with an ongoing book series that people can’t seem to get enough of.” He said with a smile.

“Really? What’s the series called?” Twilight asked hoping Tommy had the books on hand.

He walked over to the bookshelf and pulled the first volume off the shelf and handed it to her.

“It’s called Code Lyoko.” He said. What he didn’t tell her was that the whole book series was based on the kids’ life on how they find a super computer and fought a deadly Artificial Intelligence/Virus by the name of X.A.N.A. or how their best friend Ailita was trapped in Lyoko until they could get her out. Or how he accidently stumbled upon it and went into lyoko himself once.

“Oooh, that’s so smart of her! Yumi made a book series based on her and her friends lives as superheroes! All the while no pony knows that everything in the book happened for real! You must be so proud of them!” Pinkie Pie giggled innocently.

Tommy’s jaw dropped.

WHAT THE FUCK! HOW DOES SHE KNOW THAT!!! OH SHIT, THE GIRLS ARE LOOKING AT ME, EXPECTING ANSWERS! WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO!!!

“What is she talking about Tommy?” Twilight asked.

“Are you telling me she used to be a super hero?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“What did she mean by 'she wrote a book based on her being a super hero'?” Rarity asked.

“Were they safe?” Fluttershy asked with worry.

“How in the hell is that book related to her life?” Applejack asked.

“…I’m guessing there is no way to get out of an explanation, is there?” Tommy asked.

“Nope!” Pinkie giggled.

“I too would like an explanation as well.” The voice of Celestia said from behind the man, making him turn around.

“And yes, I heard the whole conversation.” Celestia gave a motherly smile.

“Why are you here?” he asked.

“To make sure that you are well after your incident.” She said.

“I assure you that I’m fine.” He said with a shrug but Celestia and the girls didn’t look convinced.

“Well, why don’t you tell us about your super hero students.” She said.

Tommy sighed before speaking.

“The book that Twilight has in her hands is one of the spare copies that I have of the Code Lyoko series. Basically, everything that happened in the book happened in real life to them. She changed their names for ‘reasons’ as to hide who they are just in case.” He said.

“How did you find out that they were fighting this X.A.N.A.?” Celestia asked.

“Well, it all started…”

6 years ago - Kadic Academy: Paris France

Jeremy yawned as he sat in the back of the class. Normally he would happily be paying attention to his class. He was the typical nerd, yes. But he was dealing with an entirely new problem.

Ailita was smiling happily as she swung her legs back and forth like a carefree child as she sat at her desk.

The pink haired girl saw him staring at her and flashed a smile towards him as she looked at him dreamily.

Jeremy and Ailita had just starting going out three months ago. She found him writing in his journal just typing away on his laptop. He stepped out to go to the bathroom but accidently left the laptop open.

Ailita walked into his room looking for him but found the open page of his computer journal. The page in particular that it was on was how he loved Ailita with all his heart and what he truly thought of her.

When he stepped back into the room he saw the pink haired girl crying tears as she held her hands to her mouth.

He immediately realized what she was reading and tried to think up an explanation.

But before he could say anything, she tackled him in a hug.

Since then they have been going out ever since. He was truly happy.

But, he ran into a very unexpected problem.

Ailita had been stuck in Lyoko for over ten years. It had been a few years since they found the super computer and Ailita. Physically she was 15. In actuality she was probably around 25.

The problem was something that never occurred to them. When Ailita was put into lyoko, she was just starting puberty at the time. She was stuck in that state for over ten years. This would have led to a massive buildup of hormonal levels.

In lame man’s terms. She was one very pent up girl.

It all started when he came back from class one day and the students had the upcoming week off due to the holidays. It was the weekend and Jeremy was looking forward to spending some time with Ailita.

The young girl was waiting for him in his room. But unfortunately, he had some homework to do. But Ailita was acting very antsy. He was worried at first that it was a Xana attack but she assured him that it was not.

He felt bad though, as of late he had been on his computer a lot trying to search for any signs of activity from XANA. Ailita was probably feeling ignored. So, he decided that he would spend the week with her. Little did he know that she had the same idea.

Jeremy was walking back to his room, as he opened the door he found Ailita in his room sitting on his bed.

“Jeremy!” She smiled as she ran over to him and brought him into a tight hug as she threw her arms around his neck.

“Woah!” He said as he stumbled back but regained his balance.

“Were have you been!” She asked with urgency.

“I just finished class. In fact, I came up with a few ways to hopefully stop XANA from attacking, at least for a little while. All I have to do is type up a program on my computer.” He answered.

“You’ve been saying that for the entire semester. You’re always typing away on that computer. I’ve been feeling very lonely lately.” She said making her lip quiver cutely at the last part. Just like Yumi had taught her.

Jeremy blushed as her face was mere inches from his before giving him a peck on the lips.

Ailita is really affectionate today.

“B-But I need to w-work on the-” He tried to ask but was cut off by the girl.

“Is your computer and all the data on it backed up?” She asked sweetly.

“…Yeah, why?” He answered in confusion.

“No reason, oh I think I left my purse in the cafeteria. Could you go get it for me?” She asked with puppy dog eyes that he could not resist.

“Sure.” He said with a smile before he went off to get it.

He searched the whole cafeteria for the pink haired girls purse but could not find it. After thirty minutes, he gave up and went back to his room.

When he walked through the door his jaw dropped at the sight of a pink chain saw and an axe lodged into his computer and desktop tower. The door slammed shut behind him and he could hear the sound of a key and lock clicking. Locking him in.

He turned around to see Ailita looking at him with a hungry gaze. She took the key and dropped it down her shirt and into her bra.

“A-Alita, what are you doing?” Jeremy asked feeling nervous.

“Just making sure that there are no distractions… and that you can’t get away.” She says as she wraps her arms around his neck in a hug.

“A-Ailita are you feeling okay?”

“Of course, Jeremy. I just want to pay you back for everything you’ve done for me. Saving me from XANA, bringing me into the real world, and forging those government documents so I could come to school with you.” She answered with a big smile.

The young man looked around the room in nervousness. He managed to get out of her grip and make a run for the door. In his fear induced state, the adrenaline in his veins allowed him to force the door open.

He ran out of the room only to be tackled to the ground. The pink haired teen was grabbing his legs, stopping him from running or getting up as she tried to drag him back in.

“This is going to happen one way or another Jeremy!” She said in a deadly tone.

“What’s going on here?” Odd asked as he and Ulrich see their friend desperately trying to crawl away and quickly grab his arms and began a tug of war.

“Ailita’s lost it!” Jeremy cries.

“You’re mine!” She shouts.

“What the hell is going on with her?” Ulrich shouts as he tries to pull him free.

“I’m horny as hell and he’s the only one that can scratch that itch for me!” She shouted in almost demonic rage.

“Wait a minute! You mean to tell me… That she wants to fuck you and you are running away from her?” Odd asked in confusion to which his friend nodded.

Ulrich, faced palmed.

“Jeremy! You literally brought your waifu out of a computer and into the real world! Your living every guys dream! So, man up and take me fast and hard!” Ailita demanded.

“Guys! Help me! I don’t know what to do!” Jeremy begged.

“Jeremy! Jeremy! Listen to me man! We’re your friends and we know what to do! You just need to listen to me!” Odd said reassuringly. Ailita growled in rage as she continued the tug of war.

“Ok, what do I do?” Jeremy asked only for Odd to loosen his grip a little.

“…You need to let go man.” Odd said as Ulrich loosened his grip as well.

“What are you doing!” He screamed as they let him go and he was dragged into the room by an insanely laughing Ailita.

They didn’t see him for the entire vacation. Thankfully, most of the staff was on vacation as well.

Damn, I love Ailita. But she is a freak in bed…But I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t enjoy it either.

Jeremy felt his eyes close. They burned slightly at the relief from keeping them open for so long.

Maybe no one will notice if I just close my eyes for a few seconds.

Jeremy was now drifting into a state that was between sleep and consciousness.

“Psst. Jeremy.”

Jeremy stirred slightly but did not wake.

“Pssst.”

His eyes slowly opened and he saw his teacher Mr. Oliver standing in front of him.

“Trying to find the answer to the problem on the board on the inside of your eyelids? I used to do that too. Never works.” Tommy said with a smirk.

Jeremy gulped in fear.

“I was just-”

“You’ve been staying up having late night study sessions again. I appreciate your dedication but you must take care of your health first.” Tommy said with a smile.

Jeremy immediately calmed down. Breathing a sigh of relief as the teacher returned to his lecture on the lesson.

Tommy’s back was turned to the class.

Before he could continue his lecture the bell rang signaling the end of the class.

“Home work is pages 365 thru 367.” Tommy said as the students made their way out of the classroom.

Jeremy grabbed his stuff but all of sudden his cell phone vibrated, with a text message.

XANA ATTACK! HURRY!

Jeremy quickly hurried off as fast as he could.

Tommy saw the boy run off.

That’s the 5th time this week that he’s run off. Every time Jeremy and his friends run off time seems to go back somewhere between 24 to 48 hours. The question is, what are they fighting this time? Also, every time something happens there is a bright flash of light and nobody seems to remember what the heck happened. In fact, when I look at the calender on my phone. It went back a couple days. When I checked the date, it was accurate too.

Tommy was lost in thought.

Every time these events happened the kids would always run off to the old abandoned factory at the far edge of town.

Last time this happened, I could have sworn I saw the kids fighting some vines that came to life. I better make sure that they are safe.

*Elsewhere*

Jeremy and the others were running to the abandoned factory.

“What is XANA doing this time?” He asked.

“XANA’s possessed someone!” Odd panted as they entered the factory.

“That’s it. That’s not too bad.” Ailita said hopeful that this attack will be resolved quickly.

“He possessed a serial killer and he’s coming after us!” Odd shouted in panic.

“WHAT!!!”

“Oh fuck! We are so fucked!” Yumi said with panic creeping into her voice.

“XANA must really want to kill us this time.” Ailita said.

“Really? I couldn’t tell all the others times he’s tried to murder us!” Ulrich said with sarcasm.

“Guys, I think we got more important matters than arguing!” Ailita shouted as she pointed in front of her.

Standing in front of them was a man wearing a prison outfit and with a bloody knife in his hand. Splatters of blood were all over his outfit.

“This is bad.” Jeremy said as he tried to stay calm as the serial killer was blocking the entrance to the factory.

The man walked towards the kids with an evil smirk as he held his knife at the ready.

“Get away from those kids right now!” Someone shouted from behind them.

The kids saw their teacher step in front of them with a look of anger.

The man with the knife opened his mouth to say something but it just came out like static. His eyes had weird symbols where his pupils should be.

“Mr. Oliver what are you doing here?” Yumi asked.

“Just making sure you kids don’t get yourselves killed. I mean what was up with those attacking vines last week?” Tommy asked.

“You remember that?! But we returned to the past!” Odd shouted.

“ODD!!!” The teens glared at their friend.

“Heh, heh… Whoops.” He said with a nervous smile.

“Everyone. We can talk later about this but I’m guessing you all go through this quite a bit.” He said as he took a fighting stance.

“You need to do whatever it is you do so you can stop this XANA thing you all keep talking about in my class when you think I can’t hear you.” He said as all the teens jaws dropped.

The teens snapped out of their shock and surprise when they saw the two circling each other.

The serial killer charged at the man only for him to do something completely unexpected.

Tommy pulled out a Taser and shot the possessed murder.

The killer screamed at the top of his lungs before hitting the ground.

Tommy pulled the trigger again making another jolt go through the man again making him scream again. This was done seven more times.

The kids just stood there slacked jawed, staring at their teacher.

“What? I’m not going up against a serial killer unarmed. That’s just stupid.” He said as he tied the unconscious criminal to a light post.

“Okay. You kids are obviously saving the world regularly. So, what’s the plan?” He asked.

“H-How do you know that? Are you with the government?” Ailita asked with fear in her eyes.

“No. Just a guy who has an interesting past.” He said.

“We have to get to the super computer! Come on!” Jeremy said as they ran into the factory and made his way into the computer room. While his friends ran to the virtualization chambers.

“What is going on here? There’s no use in hiding it. I still remember everything that happened even after you did your time reversal thingy.” Tommy asked, making Jeremy sigh.

“To put it simply. We are fighting an AI known as XANA which wants to destroy the world as we know it. It can possess living organisms as well as some objects.” The teen explained.

“How do you fight this thing then?”

“By sending Ulrich, Yumi, Odd, and Ailita into the virtual world called Lyoko.” The boy said as he turned to the computer and began typing.

Jeremy sent the group of kids into Lyoko.

“Seems simple enough to me.” Tommy said as he looked over the boy’s shoulder.

“Can you send me into Lyoko?” He asked.

“What!? That would take a week or more to type up a program to put you in there. Do you even know what it would take to put you in there? I would have to link you up to the grid of Lyoko! I’m stressed out as it is that we have a serial killer after us, but I just found out that XANA is trying to gain control of some secret underground nuclear reactor that has no business being under the city. And to top it all off you know about our secret and will not forget it because for all I know you are with the government!” Jeremy shouted.

“You done?” Tommy asked.

“Y-Yeah.” Jeremy gasped.

“Will this help?” Tommy held up his old white ranger power coin.

“What the hell is that suppose to-”

Jeremy was cut off as the super computer automatically scanned the coin on its own.

DATA UPLOADING. NEW LYOKO WARRIOR DATA UPLOAD COMPLETED. The super computer announced in an automated voice.

“On second thought. I’m just going to shut up. Head down to the scanners.” Jeremy said as Tommy took the elevator down the scanners.

“Scanning Tommy! Virtualization!” Jeremy shouted as he hit the enter key

Tommy could only see white as his vision slowly came back as he found himself in a forest like environment.

He looked at himself and saw that he was in an altered version of his white ranger armor. It looked more Cybernetic than usual but at the same time very much the same.

“Aw yeah, the white ranger is back bitches!” Tommy smirked as he ran to where the kids were.

He saw them fighting a cube with tiny insect like legs underneath it. It fired a laser from the XANA symbol on its eye, at Odd who flipped out of the way at the last second.

Yumi threw her fan at it, slicing it in half. The creature shattered into data.

Ailita and Ulrich were fighting another block creature. One of the lasers hit Ailita square in the chest. Sending her flying backwards.

Ulrich charged forward and stabbed it in the eye, killing it.

At that moment ten more of the block creatures came out of the forest and started firing at the kids.

“Make sure Ailita gets to the tower safely!” Jeremy’s voice echoed in Tommy’s mind.

“Got it!” Tommy shouted as he ran at the creatures that all focused their fire on Ailita.

The pink haired elf girl screamed in terror thinking her life was over only for Tommy to dash in front of her and block all of the laser blasts with his sword.

His sword was a blur as he blocked the incoming shots.

His movements were a blur as he charged forward and sliced the evil computer programs into oblivion with no effort at all.

The kids stared wide eyed at what the scene.

“Don’t just stand there! Focus on the task at hand!”

“Mr. Oliver! How are you in Lyoko!” Yumi asked.

“Not important guys. Xana is about to blow up a secret nuclear power plant under the city!” Jeremy’s voice echoed in the kids minds. (2)

The kids snapped out of it and charged the tower. With their teacher, there they made it to the tower in under a minute as he slaughtered all enemies in his way as if they were nothing.

Ailita stood in front of the tower as she slowly reached out for the tower as she always had.

Only instead of slowly fazing into the tower Tommy shoved her into the tower.

“EEEEEP!” Ailita squealed was forced into the tower.

“Hurry up Ailita! Trying to prevent a nuclear holocaust here, not taking a stroll in the park!” Tommy shouted as she fazed into the tower instantly. (3)

After waiting ten seconds outside the tower they heard Jeremy’s voice.

“Return to the past now!”

A bright light flashed as they were sent back to the previous day.

“The kids were scared. They thought I was with the government.” Tommy laughed as he finished telling the mares about how he met the Lyoko team. Making sure to leave out how he became a power ranger in Lyoko or his power coin.

When the kids asked him about his form he told them about his past as a power ranger. Needless to say the kids were very impressed and begged him to train them.

Had to admit though, they had some crazy times. But the weirdest one was when he had to do the weekly room inspection on the boy’s dorm. He walked in and saw Odd pretend fighting while dressed in a store-bought costume of his green power ranger outfit in his room in front of the mirror. He was even making sound effects.

When Odd saw him he nearly jumped out of his skin. Trying to make up an excuse but Tommy simply said “…Nope!” And left the room with a disturbed expression.

“What happened next?” Twilight asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.

“I made it clear that I wasn’t with the government. I helped them out regularly for a while all the while training them.” He explained.

“At some point, they started gaining the powers they had in Lyoko in real life. We called it the Bleeding Effect. The powers bled through and into them.” He added.

“Wow, I wish you could show us what they look like.” Fluttershy said.

“You’re in luck.” Tommy said as he reached into his computer desk and pulled out two pictures.

“Here’s a picture of them after they got their powers.” He said as he showed them the first picture.

“Woah, they look awesome!” Rainbow Dash cheered.

“I must say, they have astonishing fashion sense.” Rarity said.

“They look fierce for a group of foals. But at the same time, I can tell that they look happy just to have each other.” Celestia said as she looked at the picture of the kids.

“And here’s one of Ailita.”

“Is she the one that was stuck in Lyoko?” Twilight asked.

“Yeah, she was stuck in there for ten years.” He explained shocking the girls.

“And you want to remake the super computer that caused all those problems for them!” Twilight asked.

“A safe version. It won’t have any evil A.I. and it can’t go back into the past.” He explained easing her worries.

“I must ask. How many of your students were super heroes?” Celestia asked.

“A few of them.” He answered.

“That’s amazing. Helping others at such a young age is amazing.” She smiled.

“Oh! Oh! Are any of your new student’s super heroes?!” Pinkie Pie asked excitedly.

“No. Not that I’m aware.” He answered.

“Ah fooey.” Pinkie snapped her fingers in mock disappointment.

Tommy laughed as he picked up the blueprints.

“Here you go. I’ll have to show you how to type the coding into the computers but I’m sure Twilight can learn if I give her the books to show her how.” He said as he one copy to Twilight and one copy to Celestia.

“This will help Equestria greatly. Thank you.” Celestia smiled while Twilight was looking at the blueprints as if it were the best porn in her life.

“Your welcome. The least I can do is help out here since Equestria is my new home and all.” The human teacher sighed as he felt his mood fall.

All of those adventures are all in the past now Tommy. You just have to move on man. There is no way to get back home. You have the memories. Stop living in the past. You’re just boring old Tommy Oliver from now on.

He felt someone hugging him. He turned to see Rarity hugging him along with the others who joined the group hug. He hadn’t even realized how long he zoned out.

“Don’t worry Tommy, we will be here for you. Remember, you are not alone.” Rarity said.

“That’s right!” Pinkie giggled.

“You only need but call me, my sister, the Elements of Harmony or Captain Blade Dancer.” Celestia said.

“Thank you Celestia. That means a lot to me.” Tommy smiled. Even though he still felt homesick, he felt better.

The next day Tommy was at home just relaxing playing video games. Rarity and Barbara had come over to spend some time with him. The second Rarity saw the man playing video games her eyes became the size of saucers.

“Tommy, Darling what is that you’re playing?” She asked.

“Final Fantasy 7: The Remake, it just got released back in my world a week before I came to Equestria. I haven’t had the chance to play it until now.” He answered.

Her eyes were glued to the big screen TV as Tommy moved the character Cloud Strife around, slashing enemies apart and blocking bullets with his sword.

Tommy saw Rarity watching the screen intently as Barbara giggled at Rarity’s secret addiction.

“I have never seen graphics like that.” The unicorn whispered in awe. (4)

“You wanna play? Here.” He said as he handed the control to the fashionista who snatched up the controller like her life depended on it.

“This game is not even out yet and yet your world has already made a remake of it!” She gasped as she played the game.

The clacking of the controller was heard as she as Tommy hooked up two more controllers for him and Barbara to play alongside the fashionista.

The three began playing together and having fun as they progressed through the game.

“How are things going for you darling?” Rarity asked as she started the next chapter of the game.

“I’m doing good. I’m finally getting used to things around here.” He answered.

“That’s wonderful darling!” Rarity cheered.

As they played for a bit Tommy got up and got them some drinks and food. After serving the two, he saw some of his mail sitting on the table. Realizing he forgot to read through it earlier.

Sorting through the letters he found one that caught his attention. It was a purple envelope that smelled of perfume.

He examined it and saw that it was sealed with a kiss mark of red lipstick. Walking back into the room and sitting down next to the mare and the dragoness, he opened the letter.

“What’s that?” Barbara asked.

“I think it’s a love letter.” Tommy answered, making Rarity freeze up.

“What’s it say?” Barbara asked.

“Here, I’ll read it out loud.” He said.

My Dearest Thomas,

I have not been able to take my eyes off of you since the moment I saw you. The way you care for others, the way you help the little ones learn and better them for the future. The way you are so caring even though you are so young. You press on even though you are stranded in a world not your own. Eyes holding such sadness.

Yet you live all on your own, with no herd to take care of you. You need someone who will take care of you. Who will love you and comfort you in your time of need. Will you let me be the one to love you?

At the bottom of the letter was a kissing mark.

As Tommy finished reading the letter out, he stared at it for a moment.

“Wow, I never thought anypony would actually find me attractive.” He said as he scratched his head.

Meanwhile Rarity’s face was red as a tomato.

Sweet Celestia! I didn’t actually think he would read the letter I sent him out loud!

Tommy looks at the letter for a few moments before looking at Rarity, then back down to the letter, then at Rarity again.

Why does he keep staring at me like that? Does he know it was me who wrote the letter!

Tommy looked at her for a moment before speaking.

“Wow, can you believe that Rarity. Somepony actually likes me.” Tommy said with a smile.

“Y-Yes! I’m so happy for you!” Rarity said, happy that Tommy didn’t realize it was her that sent the letter.

Meanwhile, Tommy had a single thought that went through his head.

She totally sent me that letter.

“Well, hopefully you’ll find out who sent that letter.” Barbara said. Although to be honest she seemed to be a little jealous now that someone was going for Tommy. Tommy and Rarity were hers. She quickly realized what she just told herself and quickly shook her head to get rid of her naughty thoughts.

A cheeky smile spread across the human’s face when none of them were looking.

Maybe I should give this a shot. These mares are definitely easy on the eyes. But her personality is very good and compatible. But what about this coming threat. Will I even have time for a relationship? Will I even survive… You know what. Billy is off another planet dating an alien princess. If he can do it so can I. Besides, with my extended life span and youth, I have all the time in the world.

Tommy sat in between Rarity and Barbara after he put the love letter somewhere safe.

He picked up where he left off with the two.

“Wow Rarity, and here I thought you would prove a challenge.” Tommy joked.

“I’ll have you know I am more than just a pretty face. I am a master gamer.” Rarity said while pouting cutely.

“So, you admit it.” The human and dragoness said at the same time.

Rarity stuttered as she tried to think of an excuse only to come up with nothing.

“Oh drat it.” She blushed cutely as she couldn’t look them in the eyes.

Tommy and Barbara laughed kind heartedly.

*A few days later*

It was the weekend and Tommy was enjoying the lovely weather outside. Ponyville was scheduled to have a whole month of perfect weather with a few light showers.

He was currently talking with Cheerilee. At the moment, the kids were having lunch. Many of them talking with friends or just playing games while they ate.

As he sat with Cheerilee eating his lunch as they always did, Tommy kept remembering what Faust told him.

What is this great evil that I’m supposed to fight? What did she mean when she said it knows me very well? I won’t lie I still have my cyber sword and a few others things. But there is no way I could fight against anything like that again without my powers.

“How are you feeling today Tommy?” Cheerilee asked.

The young mare had been worried for her new friend ever since she heard of the break in. Since then she was acting like a mother hen worried over a baby chick. Frankly he found it endearing.

“I’m feeling better. The doctor said I should be fully healed in the next couple of weeks. I’m sorry for worrying you.” He said trying to ease her worry.

“I would be less worried if you didn’t train so hard. Twilight is constantly worried about how you are pushing yourself too hard, and to be honest I’m worried too.” Cheerilee said with a frown.

“Sorry about that. It’s just kind of a habit for me to train constantly. Especially when I’m stressed.” He said with a sheepish smile.

Before she could say anything, shouting was heard.

“Hey give it back!” Applebloom shouted.

“Nuh uh blank flank. It’s mine now!” Diamond Tiara said as she kept Applebloom’s bow out of reach.

Tommy sighed. He quickly learned that Diamond Tiara was the school bully with the help of Silver Spoon. But to be honest. It seemed that she was only following Diamond out of fear of losing her as her friend.

He had called her mother in yesterday for a parent teacher conference. Cheerilee said that there was no way to get through to the mare but Tommy said he would give it a try. Diamond’s mother, Spoiled Rich seemed to not take her daughter’s behavior seriously.

He quickly found out first hand that Spoiled Rich hardly ever spent time with her daughter. From what Cheerilee told him. Her father, Filthy Rich along with the two other mares in his herd were the only one ‘s who were ever there for his daughter. He cared for his daughter deeply but he was often away due to work. His business was so big that the two other mares in his had to help him with his work. Leaving Spoiled Rich to watch after her own daughter.

The entire time Spoiled Rich talked with Tommy she was trying everything she could to seduce him while her daughter was sitting right next to her. The whole time he managed to keep a professional neutral expression despite her best efforts.

Tommy had standards. One of those standards was that he would never go out with a girl who was already married. Especially one who didn’t take care of her child properly.

But that didn’t stop her from slipping her panties in his hand when they shook hands when Diamond Tiara had left the room when the meeting was done. On the way, out of the school she lifted the back of her mini skirt, showing her perfect naked ass to the man.

Cheerilee was furious but Tommy managed to calm her down enough for her to give him the chair that she was about to hit Spoiled Rich over the head with when she was walking out of the room. Spoiled Rich will never know how close she was to being sent into a coma.

“Diamond Tiara, please give Applebloom her bow back or am I going to have to give you detention again.” Tommy said with a stern, yet polite tone that surprisingly enough, the little filly immediately did as she was told.

“Thank you.” Applebloom said, trying to be polite.

“Now what do we say.” He said turning to the pink filly.

“…” Diamond said nothing only for the human to raise an eyebrow to which she finally caved in.

“…I’m sorry.” She muttered.

“Good.” He said as Applebloom ran off to talk with her friends.

Tommy learned very quickly that ponies were more expressive than humans were. Her ears were splayed back against her head and she fiddle with her fingers.

“What’s wrong Diamond Tiara?” He asked.

He knew that she acted out only to get the attention she desperately craved.

“…Nothing.” She sniffed as tears started to well up in her eyes as she began to walk off with her head down.

He felt bad for the filly. She felt all alone in the world as her mother was out living it up while she suffered. Tommy felt his anger rise at the Spoiled Rich for her negligence. He needed to find some way to help her.

As she walked off, something fell out of her pocket.

Tommy picked it up and saw that it was a manga of super heroes.

“You read manga?” He asked as he handed it back to her. Realizing the opportunity to help her.

“Y-Yeah, so what if I do.” The little filly sniffled as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

“That’s cool. What’s this one called?” He asked.

“I-It’s called Mega Mare. She’ my favorite manega hero. Me and Silver Spoon love the series.” She said expecting to be judged.

“That’s really neat. I’m guessing that book is about a robot mare who fights evil robots and protects the innocent, right?” He asked to which she nodded in shock.

“Have you read it?” She asked.

“This one, no. But there’s a similar series back in my world called Mega Man with a similar story line.”

“R-Really?” She asked in awe to which he nodded.

“That’s cool. B-But super heroes don’t exist. My mom says they’re just make believe.” She frowned.

“Your mother is wrong. I’ve seen a lot of super heroes in my life. In my world, super heroes actually exist. They show up on the news all the time.” He explained.

“They do! D-Do you think you could tell me and Silver Spoon about them?” She asked hopefully.

“Of course, I’d be more than happy to tell you stories about them. But you just got to do one thing for me.”

“W-What’s that?” She asked nervously.

“You have to be nice to the Applebloom and her friends as well as the other kids. Do we have a deal?” He asked.

She shifted her hooves nervously before nodding.

“Good.” He smiled before he motioned for her to sit at the table where him and Cheerilee were sitting.

“Now why don’t you tell us what has you all sad.” He smiled.

“W-Well… M-Mommy’s been very busy…” She began as she told Tommy and Cheerilee about how her mother is hardly ever around and the only one’s around her home is her maids and butlers as well as her nanny.

Cheerilee and Tommy comforted the little filly as they both tried to think of a way to help her.

There’s got to be some way to help her. Her mother’s technically not breaking the law since she has a nanny and staff caring for her while she’s gone. But this still isn’t right. There has to be something that we can do for her.

Tommy was training in White Tail woods once again due to it being secluded while at the same time monster free unlike the Everfree forest.

Deciding to take a break he sat down on a log. As he was resting, the coin around his neck began to glow green.

“What the hell?” He said as he looked at the glowing Dragonzord coin.

Green sparks began to shimmer around it as he held it in his hand before shooting all over his body. Tommy felt as if he were struck by lightning, yet he felt no pain. In fact, he felt better than he had in years.

He felt different. He felt stronger, faster, and filled with energy.

He knew this sensation. It was the same sensation he felt when he gained his powers for the first time. Only difference was that Rita Repulsa was not shocking him with her mind control magic and convincing him to kill his friends.

He put the Dragonzord coin back around his neck quickly. He looked around to make sure he was alone. Seeing no one, he got up and faced the log he had been sitting on.

“Either this is going to be awesome… or I’ve gone crazy and I’m going to throw my back out like an idiot.” He said before taking a breath in preparation.

Tommy grabbed the log and tried to lift it. To his surprise the log felt like it was nothing as he held it in one hand above his head.

“Correction, this is AWESOME!” He said before flinging the log threw the air with like it was nothing.

The log flew through the air and smashed into the ground 50 feet away. In his excitement, he had an idea. He took off running.

Trees passed by as nothing but green and brown blurs as his feet dug into the dirt. His speed far beyond any human if they were an Olympic athlete that trained every day since childhood.

He was hitting speeds of 60 miles an hour and he wasn’t even pushing himself or going all out.

He leapt 30 feet into the air. Soaring over the tree tops as if he were light as a feather.

He came skidding to a halt when he landed.

A smiled graced his face as he looked at his hands and saw traces of green electricity run over his hands and finger tips before disappearing.

As he walked out of the woods, Faust watched him.

“May the power protect you.” She smiled.

*A few days later*

Radlog was waiting for the changelings to finish taking down the wards around Ponyville as he readied the troops for the attacks.

A very faint shimmer could be seen in the air as the ward silently came down with no pony ever realizing the events that were unfolding.

The guards did not notice anything happening as they went about patrolling the town as they would any other day. There were so few guards that they would never even stand a chance let alone put up any real fight.

“The barrier is down. Now is the time to attack. Remember, grab the bearers of the elements of harmony. We need them alive. We’ll stick to disguises until we get close enough to strike.” Chrysalis ordered.

Radlog readied himself as he followed the queen as a vicious grin spread across his face. Showing his razor-sharp teeth as he snuck into the town.

This should be fun.

*Meanwhile*

Tommy was writing on the chalk board as Cheerilee was reading about a major turning point in Equestrian history.

The lesson went on as the teachers explained the lessons as they questioned and answered the questions of the students.

As the day went on everything seemed to be going as usual until loud screams were heard outside.

Tommy and Cheerilee looked outside the window and saw pure chaos. Insect like ponies were attacking the town and tearing it apart.

“Kids get under the desks right now!” Tommy shouted.

“What’s wrong?” Button Mash asked.

“Changelings are attacking!” Cheerilee said as her and Tommy shut the door and began barricading the doors.

“What are those things?” Tommy asked as he shoved a book shelf in front the door.

“Changelings, they’re shape shifters that tried to invade Equestria before by attacking Canterlot but they failed when they were expelled by Princess Cadence and Shining Armor.” Cheerilee answered as she shoved another desk in front of the door.

*CRASH!*

The kids screamed as the window was shattered. By the time Tommy turned, two changelings were already in the school house with sword and spear drawn.

The second they saw the cutie mark crusaders they made their way over to them.

Tommy lunged at the two changelings and drew his cybersword. The blade flipped out and slashed straight through them as if they were nothing. The first one was dead before he even hit the ground while the second was gasping his final breaths.

“You may kill us but you cannot save the Elements of Harmony.” The changeling gasped through blood stained lips before dying.

Tommy instantly realized why these two broke into the school. They were trying to get Sweetiebelle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo as leverage against their older sisters and their friends.

He needed to rescue them, if he could draw the changelings attention then he could give the students and Cheerilee a chance to escape. He’d be killing two birds with one stone.

“I’m going to draw their attention. It should give you chance to get the kids out of here.” Tommy ordered as he began to unbarricade the door.

“What about you? You can’t possibly think you can take them all on!” She said as she tried not to throw up at the sight of the two corpses in the room.

“Don’t worry about me, you and the kids are more important.” He said as she reluctantly nodded as she gathered the frightened foals.

He kicked open the door. Slamming into a changeling soldier’s skull. Knocking her out.

“Go! Go! Go!” He shouted as everypony ran out of the school.

Some flying changelings tried to go for the children but were cut down by the man.

“Hey fuckers! Over here!” He shouted as he ran, drawing their attention as they chased after him.

The group of changelings chased after him as they tried to kill him only for him to cut them all down.

He ran into the town, seeing Royal Guards fighting against the invasion as ponies ran from the fighting.

He saw a particular big red stallion punching and knocking out some changelings with nothing but one punch to each of them. But despite his strength, he was being overwhelmed.

Tommy delivered a flying kick to one of the changelings that were trying to stab Big Mac from behind. The enemy went flying backwards from the newly powered man.

Tommy picked up a sword on the ground and tossed it to the red stallion who caught it as a big group of changelings ran at the two.

Using his newly acquired speed Tommy sliced and cleaved his enemies in two as Big Mac stabbed and slashed any enemy that came at him. The fought back to back as they downed their enemies.

When the last of them was dead they took a moment to catch their breath.

“Thanks, I wasn’t sure I was going to make it.” Big Mac said to the man.

“I can’t believe I actually killed somepony.” The red stallion whispered as he looked at the dead bodies of the changelings.

“I know it’s hard to come to term with, but right now we need to focus. Applebloom and the others are safe but Applejack and her friends are in danger. The changelings are most likely here for them since they are the Elements of Harmony.” He explained.

Big Mac tightened his grip on the sword as he steeled his resolve.

“Well what are we waiting for! Let’s save my sister and her friends!” He declared only for Tommy to nod in confirmation before they both took off further deeper into the town.

They both came upon Blade Dancer and her guards fighting off a group of enemies as they tried to protect the Element Bearers. Blade Dancer lived up to her name as she took out her enemies with fluid movement that resembled a dance to him.

The Captain and her team managed to defeat the enemy but looked completely exhausted. Unfortunately she was too tired to notice a changeling that snuck up on Rarity.

“Move and I slit the bitch’s throat!” The changeling screamed as he held a knife the unicorn’s throat.

“Let her go!” Tommy barked.

“Get the fuck back!” The changeling shouted as he waved the knife at the man.

Seeing the knife away from his friend’s throat, Tommy lunged at the changeling and grabbed the wrist of the hand that held the knife.

Tommy wrestled the changeling away from Rarity. The changeling managed to trip the man before diving on top of him.

Rarity and the girls watched in horror as the man wrestled the insectoid soldier. The knife inched closer to Tommy’s neck but Tommy managed to push it away at the last second and head butt his opponent. When he was, dazed Tommy grabbed the changeling soldier and snapped his neck.

Tommy ran over to Rarity.

“Are you okay?” He asked the white unicorn, who could only break down crying at how close she came to death.

She sobbed into Tommy’s shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her in an effort to comfort her.

“Sh, it’s okay. You’re safe now.” He said as he helped her to the others.

“T-Thank you.” She sobbed.

“Everyone alright?” Big Mac asked.

“We’re fine. Where’s Applebloom and the others?” Applejack asked in panic.

“The kids are fine. I managed to distract the changelings while Cheerilee took them to safety.” The teacher explained as he flung some of the blood off his blade before flipping it closed and putting it in his jacket.

“What are the changelings doing here?” Rarity asked shakily as Fluttershy helped her calm down a bit.

“They’re after you girls. From what I saw they wanted to hold your sisters’ hostage to use against you girls.” He said making the mares gasp.

“We have to get the girls to safety.” Blade Dancer said.

“I don’t think so. You girls have been a thorn in my side long enough. With you as my prisoners, Celestia will have no choice but to surrender to me.” Chrysalis said as she landed in front of the group as they backed away scared.

Tommy on the other hand was ready for a fight as he took a stance.

“Letting a stallion fight your battles for you? Celestia truly is a coward, especially her royal guards.” She smirked trying to goad the elements and Blade Dancer into a fight.

“Who is this unique stallion?” Chrysalis asked as she walked up to the ex-ranger as the guards readied their blades.

“Tommy Oliver. I’m a human.” He said showing no fear as she came face to face with him.

“A human you say? I thought you were all just myths. But I do remember my spies telling me about you. You could be very useful to me.” She said with a smirk, horrifying the girls.

“Join me and-”

“Question.” Tommy interrupted.

“What?” Everyone asked in shock at how he interrupted the changeling queen so casually.

“…Who’s the fat bitch?” Tommy asked, knowing very well that he was digging his own grave.

“H-HOW DARE YOU! I AM QUEEN CHRYSALIS! I AM THE QUEEN OF THE CHANGELINGS AND LEADER OF THIS INVASION! YOU WILL-”

*POW!!!*

Tommy punched the queen with all of his might and sent her flying backwards and into a tree.

Everyone could only look on in shock at how he just punched the changeling queen without hesitation.

“Get the girls out of here.” Tommy commanded but before the girls could protest he was tackled by the changeling queen as she flew through the air.

“Tommy!” Rarity cried with the girls gasping in horror.

The queen rammed the man through the tree branches as she flew at tops speeds before slamming him down into the ground.

“There, that should teach you some manners peasant.” She said as she walked off only to feel a hard kick slam into the side of her head that sent her rolling. But thanks to training she rolled into a standing position, facing the man.

“Won’t lie, that hurt. But I’ve had worse.” He panted. (5)

The queen shot a blast of magic at the man only for him to roll out of the way of the blast. The blast of green energy flew into the Everfree forest and erupted into an explosion that shook the trees.

“Definitely don’t want to get hit by that.” The man said as the two circled each other in the middle of an open field.

“No matter. I can easily deal with you.” She laughed.

Tommy lunged at her and threw a punch at her only for her to dodge it by stepping back. The mare tried to leg sweep him but he leapt over the strike and delivered a powerful round house kick to her chest.

“EEYA!!!” He shouted his signature battle cry.

He followed the kick with series of rapid punches and kicks. Each hit emitting aloud crack.

Even with his newly enhanced strength he was still having a hard time with this mare.

“That’s it! I’m done messing around!” She said as she summoned a giant sword with her magic.

Tommy felt himself being lifted into the air by her magic. He felt a tight pressure on his body as if he were being crushed.

She walked up to him but Tommy threw his hands in front of him and fired green blast that sent the changeling backwards a few feet along with breaking her hold on him.

“I forgot I could do that.” Tommy said as he drew his cyber sword. The blast was weak but just doing that alone made him feel tired.

“Die!” She screamed as she lunged at him.

Their blades clashed as they fought. Some changelings joined the fight.

Tommy slashed a changeling across the throat before striking at the queen only for her to block the attack and punch him.

Another changeling managed to slash him across the back but Tommy worked through the pain and stabbed him in the heart before kicking him off of the blade.

Using his enhanced speed, he carved all of the changelings up, leaving only shredded corpses.

“You’re quite skilled. But it won't do you much good.” Chrysalis said as she swiped at his neck only for it to be blocked.

Tommy forced her back and headbutted her. The queen merely shook it off. She slashed at him while shooting magic at him every so often.

A blast managed to hit the man in the chest. While he was stunned she slashed him across the chest. Tommy managed to jump back just enough to prevent the cut from being fatal.

He felt a hard kick hit his chest causing him to tumble backwards. He tried to get up but quickly fell back onto one knee.

A hard punch sent him flying backwards. As he tumbled to the ground again, Queen Chrysalis approached him with a giant sword in hand and laughed.

“You weakling, did you really think that you could beat me! By the time the elements of harmony get here you’ll be dead!” She laughed as twenty-five changelings flew down and surrounded him.

As he tried to get up he fell back down. He knew he was screwed but he couldn’t even fight back at this point. When he tried to get up again he was met with the same result but this time something fell out of his pocket. Something he hadn’t seen in years. Something that could easily change the tide of battle if used right.

It was glowing green with a note attached to it.

To Tommy from Faust with love.

He quickly snatched it up and forced himself to stand. Luckily it worked. He was standing, albeit barely.

“Before I kill you, tell me your name so I may write it on your tombstone.” Chrysalis laughed.

Tommy ignored the queen as he said something he had not said in years.

“IT’S MORPHIN’ TIME!”

“It’s what-”

“DRAGONZORD!!!”

A huge blast of power hit the queen and her changelings accompanied by a green flash of light, sending them flying back in a very huge blast of power.

The roar of dragons could be heard echoing all around them yet they never saw the creatures.

The temperature dropped. Chrysalis could even see her breath even though it was in the middle of summer. She felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up.

Tommy was screaming at the overwhelming power coursing through his veins as green lightning shot everywhere. His eyes glowed green with lightning and his screams turned into the roars of ten thousand dragons.

When the light cleared, Chrysalis saw something that made her jaw drop.

In front of her was a warrior dressed in emerald green armor. The armor was form fitting but looked very futuristic. Covering the upper part of his chest was some type of golden chest shield that protected his shoulders as well. It looked like it was both solid but made out of pure energy at the same time.

She only felt terror at the immense power that was being emitted from this warrior.

“W-What are you?” She gasped in fear but was meant only with silence

Before any of them could react, his fist smashed through one of the soldier’s head. The fist tearing through the chitin as if it were an egg shell sending blood and brain matter everywhere.

The green ranger threw the corpse into another changeling as he charged.

He drew his dragon dagger and carved his enemies to ribbons as if they were nothing.

Chrysalis could only stare in horror at the scene in front of her as the ranger killed her soldiers left and right without mercy. But before she could do anything she felt an explosion of pain in her stomach as she was sent flying back through the trees as the power ranger’s fist slammed into her gut.

The queen smashed through a tree and tumbled across the ground.

This thing. He’s radiating power. He’s unlike anything I’ve ever fought before. (6)

She aimed a powerful blast at the armored man only for him to swat the blast away with his hand as if it were nothing.

She kept firing only for the same result.

He teleported behind her slashed at her with his dagger only for her to block the strike with her sword.

He kicked her in the stomach, causing her to hunch over as she coughed up blood from the strike.

He grabbed her by her mane and punched her in the stomach over and over again. A crack was heard each time his fist met her ribs before throwing her down to the ground hard.

“Stay down.” The green ranger growled.

But Chrysalis growled in anger as she spat some blood to the side and stood up.

“Enough! You are all of you beneath me! I am a queen you dull creature! And I will not be bullied by-”

The green ranger grabbed Chrysalis by her ankle and slammed her into the ground. Back and forth, over and over again.

Chrysalis lay in a crater unable to move due to her bloodied body being in so much pain.

“Puny queen.” The green power ranger said as he walked away towards the remaining changelings.

The changelings immediately dropped their weapons and held their arms up.

“We surrender! We’ll leave and you’ll never see us again! Just don’t hurt us, please!” One of them begged.

“Wise choice.” He said, showing them mercy.

But the changelings did one thing that he was not expecting. They used their magic to teleport themselves and the queen with them.

“Dammit! I really should have said they couldn’t take her with them. But that’s not important right now. I need to help the others.”

With that, Tommy disappeared in a bolt of green lightning.

Having met up with Cheerilee and her class, the girls and the remaining royal guards all made their way to the out skirts of the city.

Twilight and Barbara sent a message to Celestia telling her the situation. They got a letter back almost instantly.

The letter said that she was coming with her sister and Shining Armor along with a battalion of royal guards. She would be there in 10 minutes. They just had to get to the outskirts of the town and to safety.

Rarity’s mind was on Tommy the whole time and where he could be. She worried for the man. She really admired the human. She really admired him. He saved her baby sister and herself without ever thinking or hesitating. Ah heck who was she kidding, she was crushing on him hard.

Now he was God knows where fighting for his life. She could only pray that he was okay as she held Sweetiebelle’s hand as they all ran. They just had to hold out until Celestia and Luna came with reinforcements.

As they made it to the edge of town, a giant changeling shot through the sky and landed in front of the group blocking their path.

“Where do you think, you’re going?” The giant changeling smirked as he drew his sword.

"Who are you?" Blade Dancer demanded

“I’m the only changeling prince there is, I go by many names. But you may call me Radlog.” He grinned viciously.

“Why are you doing this? Most changeling hives are peaceful! Why are you and Chrysalis doing this!” Twilight said as Barbara and Blade Dancer stood in front of her, ready to protect her and the others should the need arise. (7)

"Because I can and I enjoy this." He boasted viciously.

The giant changeling walked towards the girls as he readied his blade. Barbara blew a blast of emerald fire at him only for him to hold up a hand and block it as if it were nothing.

“That’s adorable.” He laughed as he approached the mares and dragoness.

But at that moment a changeling flew down next to the prince in a panic.

“Radlog, sir!” The changeling called in a panic.

“Can’t you see I’m busy.” He growled.

“I-It’s an emergency! Chrysalis has been defeated!” The changeling said with worry. But for the girls they gasped in shock.

“WHAT!!!” Radlog shouted.

“I-I don’t know what happened, I only arrived to see s-some warrior dressed in green armor just came out of nowhere and started wiping out our troops like they were nothing. When I first saw him he was standing over the queen’s body.” He explained.

“How many of our troops our left?” He asked.

“Around half of our troops were wiped out.”

Radlog let out a feral roar, causing everyone to back away in fear.

“Who is he!” Radlog demanded as he picked up the changeling by the throat.

At that moment, a crackle of thunder echoed as a bolt of green lightning hit the ground.

In front of the changeling prince, standing in between him and his objective was a very familiar warrior dressed in emerald green armor.

The prince dropped the changeling as he looked at the warrior in front of him.

Noooo…

“I suggest you take your soldiers and get out of here right now.” The power ranger ordered in a low and deadly tone.

No, no, no.

“Otherwise you won’t make it out of here alive.”

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

“W-Who are you?” One of the fillies from the school class, Diamond Tiara asked.

“I’m the Mighty Morphin’ Green Power Ranger!” He said, making the filly along with everypony there go awestruck.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“S-Sir what do we do?” The changeling soldier asked with fear.

“Return to the hive and tell Atir that a Power Ranger has shown up, the original green ranger. She’ll know what it means. Hurry!” Radlog barked.

Tommy immediately went on high alert at the way this changeling was talking about him.

(From Ashes To New - Breaking Now)

“You make it sound like we’ve met before.” Tommy growled as he readied his dragon dagger.

“You could say that.” Radlog sneered as he readied his sword.

The two lunged at each other. Their blades clashed, making the ground quaked beneath their feet.

The girls fell backwards from the sheer force of the two fighting.

“His power is beyond anything I’ve ever seen!” Twilight gasped as she and friends got up and ran behind cover.

The ranger’s strikes were fast but not fast enough as his dagger was blocked by the changeling’s sword. Clashing together and causing sparks.

Radlog tried to backhand the ranger, but he ducked under it and threw a high kick to his chin. The changeling shrugged the blow off and managed to slash the power ranger across his chest, the blood leaked from under his armor.

“Hurts doesn’t it!” Radlog laughed as he went in for another strike.

Tommy blocked the strike with his wrist guards and delivered a backwards spin kick to the prince’s chest before leaping into the air and delivering another backwards spin kick to his face, only this time his boot was surrounded by a green energy aura. Enhancing the power of the kick tenfold.

The warrior growled in rage and pain as the chitin of his face cracked as if it were made of glass before he charged the green hero.

“I’LL KILL YOU FOR THAT!” Radlog screamed in rage.

The changeling prince’s claymore sword glowed a bright angry red as he threw it at his opponent.

The power ranger tried to block the blade with his dagger but the power stored inside of the sword unleashed itself on the ranger as soon as it made contact with his weapon. The aura exploded in an eruption of fire and sent the ranger flying backwards into an old oak tree, shattering it to pieces.

Tommy slowly staggered backed to his feet but by then Radlog was already on top of him. The ranger was put on the defensive.

“Dammit! This guy is freakishly strong! But his fighting style… It’s wild, aggressive, vicious… It’s familiar.” Tommy thought as he blocked the prince’s punches and kicks.

Tommy side stepped a kick and gave the changeling a back-flip kick. Smashing both boots into his face. The beast stumbled back as Tommy channeled energy into his fists, making them spark with green electricity before shooting off at his enemy.

Tommy was nothing but a blur as his fists smashed into Radlog’s face.

This sounds of cracking and shattering could be heard as the chitin of the changeling’s face cracked and shattered more and more as the beating continued.

After ten more seconds of the barrage a final uppercut was delivered and sent Radlog flying backwards and through the air, landing with a thud.

“Y-You did it! You actually-” Barbara started but was cut off.

“You…” Radlog growled as he slowly got up, his face covered in shadows as he looked down at the ground. His fists shaking in rage as pieces of his faces fell off as if they were made of glass, the chitin on his body falling off in a similar manner.

“YOU SON OF A BITCH! EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS YOU COME BACK AND ARE STILL GETTING IN THE WAY OF OUR PLANS!!! I’ll KILL YOU!!! I’ll FUCKING KILL YOU GREEN RANGER!!!” He bellowed in rage as his voice became deep and animalistic as he looked the power ranger dead in the eye, revealing his own face.

As the last of the pieces fell away, Tommy stood before one of his most hated enemies.

The girls stared at the seven-foot-tall creature in terror. The creature they thought was a changeling now looked like a monster that resembled a humanoid sphinx with the face of an ape dressed in gold armor and wielding a giant claymore sword.

“Goldar. What are you doing here?” Tommy demand in a cold and deadly tone.

“As if I’d tell you.” He said before lunging at the power ranger.

Goldar’s fist met Tommy’s as they two attacks canceled each other out, sending a massive shock wave that made the very earth under their feet crack.

Goldar thrusted his sword at the man. The blade was nothing but a blur as he threw a series of countless stabs at the power ranger. The power ranger just barely managed to block the sword with his dragon dagger.

His weapon clanging as sparks flew from the joining of the blades.

The monster roared in rage, firing a beam out of his mouth that hit the ranger directly in the chest.

Tommy was sent flying back through the air only for Goldar to grab his ankle and fling him into the ground. The ground crack with spider webs spreading through the earth from the sheer force.

Fighting through the pain, Tommy kicked out of Goldar’s grip and blasted him in the face with a ball of green energy, blinding him.

Getting to his feet, Tommy took advantage of the monster’s temporary blindness and stabbed the beast in the stomach.

The beast roared in pain only for the ranger to tear the blade out of his stomach.

“I’ll skin you alive you son of a bitch!” Goldar roared.

“With how many times I beat you before, I highly doubt it.” Tommy rolled out of the way of a sword swipe before slamming a high kick to the sphinx’s chin.

The two clashed as they traded blows and strikes. The two separated from each other but before they could attack one another again, they heard the sound of war cries.

Off in the distance a regiment of royal guards were charging the small town, greatly out numbering the changelings.

“Sir! Enemy reinforcements have arrived and the Princesses are with them! We’re outnumbered!” The changeling soldier panicked. But the soldier shrank back in fear at Goldar’s form, thinking that he was either shapeshifting to scare his opponents or using magic to use a stronger form, being terrified by it himself. (8)

“Hold them off! I’ll give you back up!”

Before the insectoid could say anything, Goldar shouted.

“PUTTIES!!!” He shouted.

In a flash appeared dozens of creatures made of clay and dressed in gray as they took battle stances.

“These should even the odds. Putties! Help the changelings!” The golems nodded before charging into battle just as another group of putties appeared in front of the sphinx.

“You! Don’t just stand there you fools! Help me!” Goldar shouted to the putties.

The putties charged into battle.

The power ranger slammed his fist into the first one and smashed its head into pieces while blocking another’s punch with his dagger. He slashed the other’s head off before stabbing it into another’s skull, stabbing its brain, if it even had a brain.

Two of them unleashed a flurry of strikes but they were no match for the ranger who simply dodged the strikes as if they were going at a snail’s pace. He rammed his fist straight through the putty’s chest cavity. His fist exiting the other side, he fired an energy blast at the putty behind it and blew it’s upper body away before yanking his hand out of it.

The last one tried to run for the girls but Tommy grabbed it by the head and repeatedly slammed its head into the ground until it was nothing but a pile of mush, killing the last of the putties. Horrifying the girls.

Goldar’s rage took control as he saw the last of the minions vanquished he saw red as he screamed. But he left himself open as he swung at the man wildly who simply dodged them.

Tommy lunged at the beast and tackled him to the ground and began slamming his electrically charged fists into his face over and over again as they both skid across the ground as the dirt flew up, making a trench in the grounds with the power ranger on top of him beating him viscously.

Goldar threw the ranger off of him only for the him to right himself in midair with a flip. Goldar jumped up and lunged at the man. He tried to take the green warrior’s head off but he was just a bit faster than the blade as he ducked under the strike.

The ranger’s dagger began glowing neon green just before he slashed at the alien monster.

His strikes were a flurry that sent green energy blades out of the dagger. Unfortunately, Goldar managed to dodge all of the green blades.

“You missed!” Goldar taunted only to see all of the floating green energy blades all floating around him, with each of their tips pointing at him.

“Aw shit.” He groaned only for the blades to all fly at him.

The energy blades stabbed and sliced into him as he screamed in pain. He felt his skin tear apart as it was butchered by the attack. (9)

Goldar fell to his knees in pain, throwing up blood as it overflowed in his mouth as Tommy rushed at him with every intention to end their long feud.

But before he could, a staff came flying down from the sky and struck the ground with the such force that it shook the very town of Ponyville.

“MAGIC STAFF MAKE MY MONSTER GROW!!!” A very familiar voice echoed through the sky

The ponies all screamed in terror as they ran when they saw the horrifying monster grow bigger and bigger until he was eighty stories tall. His wounds healed and his energy back, he let out a roar.

(End Song)

The power ranger readied stood his ground.

"What are you doing! Don't just stand there! Run! You can't possibly beat that thing!" Blade Dancer shouted.

“I can, with the help of an old friend.” The green ranger said before putting his dagger to his lips.

A series of trumpets echoed as he played before going silent.

A massive lake at the edge of Ponyville began to quake as waves formed from the shocks as thunder clouds blotted the sky as lightning crashed as a thick fog filled the air.

Everyone looked on from their hiding places wondering what was happening only to feel the ground shake.

Even the thick fog could hide the massive figure slowly rising out of the lake.

“What’s happening!” Twilight shouted as her and her friends ran, trying to find a safe place to hide.

“I don’t know, but whatever it is, it doesn’t look good!” Rainbow Dash said as they all ran into Sugar Cube Corner. Every one of them crowding the windows to see what was coming.

The now giant Goldar drew his blade back as he prepared to crush the now tiny ranger. Too focused on the ranger to see the giant creature rapidly heading his way.

As he slashed his blade down at the green power ranger, a large mechanical tail with a giant drill at the end shot out of the fog and blocked the attack before returning to the fog.

Stumbling back from the strike. Goldar realized too late what had just come as dread filled him.

As the Royal Guard and the Changelings had even stopped fighting due to the appearance of the giant monster. They could only stare in horror at what was coming.

As the lightning crashed the giant figure’s outline was seen through the fog only for the fog to finally part, revealing the mighty creature right before giving off a mighty roar.

Everyone could only stare in awe as they saw the giant mechanical dragon stood before them.

(Start Song)

The green ranger leapt into the air. Soaring higher and higher he landed on the top of the giant machines and entered the cockpit.

It has been years my old friend.

“It has. Now, you ready to help me take down this son of a bitch.” Tommy smiled as he heard the voice of the Dragonzord echo in his head as he readied himself for the kaiju style battle.

Well it's about damned time! I’ve waited ages for this!

Tommy grabbed the controls and pushed the accelerator to maximum. The zord shot forward at the giant minion.

“BALLS TO THE WALL!!!” Tommy screamed.

DRAGON CEASERS BACK BITCHES!!!

The zord threw a haymaker at the giant beast in front of him, his metal fist connecting with the beast’s jaw.

Goldar felt his jaw crack as he was sent stumbling backwards from the blow. He quickly regained his balance and swung his sword at the giant dragon’s neck.

The Dragonzord blocked the blow with his claw and kicked Goldar back before pointing his fingers at him and firing missiles from his fingers.

Before the missiles could hit, Goldar sliced them each in half. The pieces exploding behind him before he charged at the Zord, slashing it with his claymore.

Goldar slashed the Dragonzord twice, sparks flying from the circuitry being sliced but the machine worked through the attack and tackled his opponent. (10)

The two were locked in battle as they grappled with each other.

Goldar broke out of the hold by kneeing the dragon in the stomach and slashing him across the chest.

“Damn he’s tougher than the last time we fought.” Tommy grunted under his helmet.

I’ll say, but he’s still no match for us. What the fuck is he any way’s? A spynx, gorilla, or a cat?

“I honestly don’t know.” Tommy said before he pressed a series of button’s making the zord fire a barrage of missiles from his fingers.

With each one finding it’s mark, shrapnel slicing through his flesh while the fires of the blast scorched his body, he screamed in agony as he clutched his bleeding chest. One of the missiles however found it’s mark on his hand. Making him drop his sword in pain.

“YOU BASTARD! I’ll KILL YOU FOR THAT!!!” Goldar bellowed in rage as he bared his claws and charged.

Dragon Ceaser swiped at him with his tail drill but Goldar ducked under the swipe and slashed the giant dragon with his razor-sharp claws before picking up Dragon Ceaser over his head and throwing him throw the air and into the forest.

The giant zord landed with a loud crash as he crushed trees and boulders underneath his body.

He’s much stronger than the last time we fought. At this rate, we won’t last long.

“You're right. We have no choice but to go to our last resort.” Tommy said as warning lights flashed in the cockpit alerting him of the damage done.

You mean full immersion? You understand the risks, right? What happens to me, happens to you.

“I know. But we have no choice.” Tommy explained.

Alright, let’s get serious.

In the cockpit, Tommy stood up as his helmet retracted back and into his armor as the control panels and the chair folded up and receded into the floor of the control room. Two cables of pure energy came out of the walls and floor of the control room and snaked their way to Tommy. The beams connected to the back of his neck and the middle of his back along his spine. When Tommy opened his eyes, they were glowing solid green as power surged through his very core.

The Dragonzord forced it’s self-up and faced Goldar who had retrieved his sword and was now making his way towards them. But he stopped in his tracks when he felt the pure aura of power being emitted. It was nearly suffocating.

Tommy took a stance causing Dragon Ceaser to take the exact same stance. The giant mech moving more fluidly with more flexibility than before as it’s form began to change. The zord became sleeker and the joints shifted as they upgraded. The new joints allowing him to move better allow him to rush the giant minion.

“How are you able to move like that? Five seconds ago, you were stiff as a wind-up toy! What the fuck are you!” Goldar demanded.

“WHAT’S THE MATTER GOLDAR, AFRAID? WE ARE READY TO DIE! THE QUESTION IS, ARE YOU?” The power ranger and the Dragonzord said as their voices merged together.

Dragon Ceaser’s fist smashed into Goldar’s nose, breaking it. Goldar howled in pain but managed to throw a clumsy slash at the mech only for it to grab his wrist and flip him over his shoulder and onto a cliff that crumbled under his weight.

Before he could even get up he was kicked in the stomach and sent backwards, skidding across the Everfree forest, destroying trees in his wake.

Goldar forced himself up, turning his head to spit some blood out, he growled.

“I’m not as weak as I once was boy. It will take more than that to kill me.”

In an amazing burst of speed, Goldar closed the distance and slashed at the Dragonzord who barely brought his arm up in time to block the strike.

The second the blade connected with the mech’s arm, a huge gash appeared on Tommy’s arm. Goldar followed up the attack with a flurry of strikes.

Tommy screamed in agony as slashes and cuts appeared all over his body. The pain almost made him pass out as he barely worked through it.

Just as he tried to deliver a killing blow, Dragon Ceaser shifted to the side and caught Goldar’s arm before biting into his shoulder.

The razor-sharp teeth tore through the armor like it was not even their as it shredded the flesh and fur the overgrown monster who futilely struggled to get the dragon off of him.

Thrashing his head back and forth, Dragon Ceaser tore a chunk of meat out of the monster’s shoulder.

Goldar screamed in pain as he clutched his now ruined shoulder in agony. Unable to grab his sword, the monster had no way of defending himself.

“You may have gotten stronger Goldar, but I’m not the little boy you tricked into working for you!” Tommy shouted as his and Dragon Ceaser’s voices merged.

Tommy drew his head back causing Dragon Ceaser draw his head back in turn as a ball of white energy began forming in his mouth.

With a loud roar his head shout forward and giant white beam of electricity shot out of his mouth and engulfed Goldar.

The monster screamed at the top of his lungs before he fell limp and hit the ground with a thunderous crash that echoed through the entire town of Ponyville, shaking the town itself.

"Morphinomical." Tommy smirked.

The energy cables disconnected from Tommy, ending his full immersion. He fell to his knees gasping for air.

Aren’t these guys supposed to blow up when we beat them?

“Y-You haven’t s-seen… T-The last of m-me… G-Green ranger.” A bloodied and mutilated Goldar gasped through his collapsed lung, a second later he disappeared as he teleported away in a flash of light.

“Dammit!” Tommy cursed.

I understand your anger. But we need to focus on the fight, the equines are still dealing with the last of the putty patrollers.

Celestia and Luna were fighting alongside the Royal guard as they fought the Putty patrollers. With the changelings fleeing due to the giant monster battle, the Royal Guard assumed they would have an easy victory against the putties due to their small numbers. But the putty patrollers proved to be a formidable match for the royal guards despite being greatly outnumbered.

One of the guards ran at one of the golems with his sword in hand as he slashed at him while two other guards tried to stab it from behind only for it to flip over them and kill the two guards by punching through their chests. The remaining guard tried to land a hit on the putty as he slashed nonstop but it was useless as it leapt back. The golem was too agile for him to ever hope of winning the fight.

The Putty Patroller snatched up one of the dead guard’s swords and hurled it at the guard. The guard managed to smack the sword out of the air with his own just before it could hit him.

Unfortunately, the golem took advantage of this moment and slammed hard punch to his throat before he could even react. Crushing his wind pipe. The guard thrashed around before succumbing to death.

Another group of guards were decimated by a group of putties that ganged up on them.

On another part of the battlefield a group of guards managed to at least take out a small group of putties by ganging up on them and shooting them down with magic. Unfortunately, the putties started to focus all of their attacks on the magic users, seeing them as the biggest threats.

Celestia and Luna were cutting down any putty that attacked them or got in their way. Celestia slashed one of the golems in half with her sword before blasting an entire group of them with her magic. Luna punched one of the putties in the face, cracking the golems face mask before grabbing it by the leg and swinging it around like a club, pulverizing any and all of the golems that got in her way as she repelled more of them with her magic.

The two sisters were beginning to feel slightly winded as they realized they had only taken down a quarter of these alien creatures since they were summoned.

But before the two sisters and the guards could continue their attack the remaining putties were torn apart by heavy gun fire. Celestia and Luna jumped stood in awe as they saw the giant mechanical dragon that had just defeated the giant monster gun down all of the putties with a set of heavy duty miniguns that protruded from its shoulders.

The sisters were amazed at the perfect aim of the machine. Never missing a shot and never hitting any of her guards or civilians.

The loud gunfire died down as the last of the putties fell to the ground in shreds of clay.

Everypony stared at the giant mechanical creature, at the very top they saw its pilot standing atop of its head looking down on the now eerily silent battlefield that was the quaint little town.

“Sister, is this the warrior that Tommy called a power ranger?” Luna asked.

“I-I believe so.” Celestia said as they watched the warrior.

The whole town watched in anticipation.

Tommy looked down on the small settlement. His mind was racing, Goldar was back which meant that Rita would be close behind. Pulling the strings from behind the scenes. No matter where it went, it seemed his past would always come back to haunt him.

He watched the inhabitants of this world. He saw the fear and the desperation in their eyes. They never seen enemies like this before and they didn’t know how to fight them. They relied on their princesses or the elements of harmony to fight any and all threats. But the threats this world faced were nothing compared to what they were facing now. A planetary invasion.

He knew what Rita was doing. She was testing the waters. Trying to see how much resistance this world would put up while she got her forces ready. He didn’t know what she was planning, but he had a decision to make. But his heart had made the decision for him long ago, the day he was defeated by the other rangers and freed from Rita’s spell.

He would defend this world with everything he had to his dying breath.

Some of the Pegasus guards are making their way towards us with the two princesses following. You want to talk to them?

“No, I’m already going to be under a lot of suspicion now of being the green ranger considering I’m the only human here.” Tommy sighed trying to think of a way to throw any suspicion off before the Dragon Ceaser answered him as he marched towards the lake.

Don’t worry, way ahead of you on that. The giant mechanical dragon answered telepathically before explaining.

Faust has another guy helping her out. Looks like a picaso painting face fucking a bunch of different animals. He’s the one who brought me back. Calls himself Discord. All you need to do is teleport out of here.

“Alright. I trust you my friend. It’s good to fight alongside you again.” Tommy smiled behind his visor.

Same here. Now I must rest.

Tommy teleported away just as the zord began to submerge itself beneath the lake at the edge of town.

Tommy landed back in the Everfree forest where he was last seen fighting by the girls. Making sure no one was around he powered down.

No longer in his ranger form he collapsed to the ground in pain as he felt the full effects of his wounds setting in.

“Dammit. I’m definitely going to feel this in the morning.” He groaned in pain.

“I wouldn’t doubt it. Considering how you like to play the role of a hero and such.” A voice said.

The man looked to see what could only be described as a mismatch of animals combined into one being that wore a mismatched suit.

“I’m guessing you’re Discord. Wow, he was right about the whole Picasso thing.” He said.

“That’s a low blow.” Discord deadpanned.

“Dragon Ceaser said you could help me?” Tommy asked.

“Yep, all you have to do is just play along with what I say.” Discord answered and snapped his fingers before Tommy could say anything further Tommy was teleported away alongside Discord.

They appeared in front of the girls and the princesses.

But what struck Tommy as strange was the fact that he was being carried by a copy of himself in his green power ranger form.

The second the girls saw him the girls all rushed to him and immediately began helping him.

Before Celestia and Luna could even say anything to what they thought was the green ranger, he disappeared in a bolt of green lightning. The princesses turned their attention to the injured human in front of them.

“We need to get him to the hospital with the rest of the wounded.” Celestia ordered her guards who were trying to carry the man to the hospital despite his protest. Luckily Discord intervened.

With a snap of his fingers Tommy’s injuries were healed completely.

While thankful for what Discord did, the two alicorns were curious as to why the spirit of chaos was here.

“What are you doing here Discord?” Celestia asked.

“I happened to pop in when I saw a bunch of commotion going on and before I knew it I saw a mechanical beast fighting a giant monster like something from a Saturday morning cartoon. I found your friend here face down in a pool of his own blood. You’re lucky I got to him in time.” Discord explained sincerely despite lying through his teeth.

Celestia and Luna quickly changed their attention to the man in worry.

“What were you thinking taking on Chrysalis!” Rarity shouted.

“I was protecting you girls.” He answered sheepishly.

“By trying to get yourself killed!?” Barbara answered with an upset tone.

“Well it was better than me doing nothing.” He said.

At this point the girls all began to complain about how reckless he was and how he should have let the guards handle it.

“Despite the danger you put yourself in Tommy, you saved many lives today.” Celestia said with a smile.

“Big Mac helped me.” Tommy added.

“We are well aware. You shall both be rewarded for your service.” Luna stated with a smile.

“Did you see him Tommy! Did you see him! The green power ranger was here! He was like pew, pew, hiya!” Pinkie Pie added as she pantomimed the moves.

“Yeah, I saw him. It’s been years since I last saw him.” Tommy stated.

“Really! Are you friends with him? Does he like parties?” Pinkie asked with a huge smile.

Tommy thought carefully before answering, knowing that Applejack would be able to sense a lie from a mile away.

“Yes, you could say that we are friends. We just haven’t seen each other in a long time and yes he does if my memory serves right.” He answered.

“You know him? What was that giant mechanical beast that was fighting that monster?” Celestia asked, trying to get as much information on the events that just happened.

“That was the Dragonzord. A giant mechanical dragon that fights at the Green Ranger’s side whenever those monsters grow big like that. That thing he was fighting was Goldar, one of Rita’s top generals.” He explained feeling the events of the day kicking in.

“You mean to tell us those things grow to that size?!” Luna gasped as her and her sister grew wide eyed at what they were hearing.

“In most cases, yes.” He added with a sigh as he remembered how many times Rita’s monsters grew to giants after they thought they had won. The only way to stop the monsters from growing big was to kill them before Rita could throw her staff at them.

“Tommy, I know that you have been through a lot today but I must ask for your assistance. You are the only one who knows anything about these alien things. I have no idea why they would be teaming up with Chrysalis. But we need all the help we can get. You have the technology and the know how that could help save our world.” Celestia pleaded.

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you in any way that I can.” He said to the two princesses, making them smile and sigh in relief.

“Twilight!” A voice called.

Twilight turned to see her older brother Shining Armor running towards her.

“SHINY!” She called out as she tackled him in a hug. Making everyone smile.

Tommy took his eyes off of the family reunion for a moment and saw off in the distance the Royal Guard gathering up the dead bodies of their fellow guards and covering them with sheets. He overheard one of them say that there were no civilian casualties, but around 131 guards did lose their lives in the attack unfortunately. He could only feel regret at not being able to help them. But unfortunately, in any battle, casualties were inevitable.

He snapped out of his thoughts when he saw the white furred stallion with a mane that had two shades of blue walking towards him that Twilight called ‘Shiny’.

“I heard you were the alien that protected my sister Twilight and her friends. Names Shining Armor. You have my thanks.” He said as he held out his hand.

Tommy reached out and shook his hand.

“I’m always there for my friends.” Tommy said with a smile.

“Glad to hear it. I hear you’ve dealt with these guys before.” Shining asked.

“I have, it’s been years but I have a few ideas on how to start helping out.” He answered.

“What are your ideas?” Luna asked.

“We need to advance Equestria’s technological level. My people are very advance when it comes to technology but we have no magic. Imagine if you all were to combine some of my worlds technology with your magic.” He answered.

“Yes, that could work. But we would need some access to some of your books as well as your technology.” Celestia said.

“I have to go through the books and tech first. I don’t want you guys blowing yourselves up by stumbling onto something that even I don’t know how to work.” He answered.

“What about the Green Ranger? You said you were friends with him. Is there any way you can contact him?” She asked.

“Unfortunately, no. I haven’t seen him for years until today. I wouldn’t know how to contact him now days.” The young man said, making sure that Applejack could not see his face when he said this. (11)

“But I can tell you this. He will not stop fighting until everyone is safe.” He said.

“We can tell.” Celestia said, feeling a little relief at the fact.

But she couldn’t help but worry over this new threat. Many questions were going through her head. Why were the changelings working with them? What was this Goldar capable of? Who was this Rita he was working for? Those were only some of the many questions rushing through her mind.

*Later that night*

Tommy had just given Celestia and Luna a generous number of books on science and other things that would help as well as pieces of technology in order to help Equestria with its technological advancement. The princesses made copies of the books with her magic, enough to supply her research team. But she made sure to make some copies for Twilight as well. Making her jump for joy.

Celestia had just contacted the other nations and set up an emergency meeting for them to meet and discuss this new threat. The meeting would take place in a week. Celestia and Luna were smart enough to know that they would need to share whatever information and technology they can come across. Within reason of course.

Twilight laid in her bed, stroking Barbara head absent mindedly as she slept right next to her bed. Despite how big and brave she acted, Barb was still scared of what had happened that day which lead to her sleeping in Twilight’s bed.

The princesses had put an increase of guards in ponyville as well as Luna’s elite night guard. In fact, security was increased all over the country.

Twilight was naturally worried like the rest of her friends. But right now, she had her nose buried in the journal she found in Tommy’s library.

She had thought he was the green ranger but seeing the power ranger standing in front of her while bringing tommy to them made her question that. But Twilight wasn’t so easily deterred. She knew Discord was capable of many things, for all they knew he might have used chaos magic to stage the whole scene.

But as she thought about it some more. She remembered what she read about them earlier when Tommy gave them some books.

There was more than one ranger. For all she knew he could be one of the other rangers. But why didn’t he use his powers? Celestia did say that she sensed Tommy was on the same level as her and Luna when it came to power, maybe even stronger. This was nerve wracking for her. She needed to know!

She opened the journal to where she left off last time.

Log #8

Sorry, I haven’t written in this thing for the past month. A lot has happened. Just yesterday I was approached by some government agents. They wanted to talk with me but I can tell something was up. They offered us a bunch of cash to work for them. We didn’t take it of course. The one leading them calls herself Agent Smith. She says she’s with the CIA.

I don’t trust her at all. She told us the government wanted to team up with us. But I don’t think she’s telling us everything. We’re going to meet with them in a week at city hall to discuss this so called ‘team up’.

The others are worried about it being a trap. I don’t blame them, but Zordon will just teleport us out of there should anything go wrong.

Twilight paused for a moment.

“Who’s Zordon?” she asked herself, realizing that this could have been the actual leader of the power rangers.

Log #9

I just got back from the meeting, it didn’t go too well. To make the long story short, they wanted us to work for them. We already knew what they were planning. A certain book warm, science loving friend of ours hacked their systems. They want us to work for them as their own personal weapons.

We gave them some of the technology that we found. Hopefully that will give them a fighting chance now. That should also buy us some time. I know they’re planning something. The question is what?

I’ve thinking about what the general said. He was right. We can’t be everywhere at once. Which made me think of something. What if we were to create a network of other power rangers, I mean how awesome would that be, a whole freaking army of rangers charging into battle.

But seriously, that would make things so much easier for us. We could call in back up, receive intel on monster attacks happening in other parts of the world. As well as have a whole network for us to operate through.

The only problem is, we are the only power rangers in existence. Maybe I should talk to Zordon about this.

Twilight read through many more logs until she came to one in particular that caught her eye.

Log #21

It’s been a six month since the meeting with the government officials. We haven’t had contact with them again until now.

A few days ago, I was hunting down a group of putty patrollers. But by the time I got there, they were gone without a trace. I looked around the place for a bit, but I felt like I was being watched.

Then ‘they’ came out of nowhere. Billy said there was a file that he couldn’t even access in the fed’s database. Some guys dressed in armor similar to our power armor. They tried to kill me. I managed to defeat them. By the time the others managed to get there, they saw me barely able to stand. I barely managed to survive.

This was the first time I’ve ever taken a human life.

Twilight couldn’t help but feel sorry for the ranger. Being so young and having to go through all of this no less.

She put the book away for the night as she felt herself getting sleepy.

She couldn’t help but wonder. Why did Tommy have this Journal?

*Chrysalis’s Changeling Hive*

“MOTHER FUCKER! WHY! WHY! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE HIM OF ALL PEOPLE!!! JUST FOR ONCE! ONCE! WHY CAN’T THINGS GO MY WAY!!!” Atir screeched as she was in her private chambers with Goldar laying bandaged in a bed.

Atir dropped her disguise as she ranted nonstop. Revealing her to be a human looking witch.

“Empress Rita, would you please calm down.” Goldar said as he rolled his eyes at her antics.

“I WILL NOT CALM DOWN YOU BUFFOON!!! IT’S YOUR FAULT YOU LOST TO HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!” Rita screamed in a very annoying voice.

“You were the one who made him the green ranger in the first place.” He mumbled.

“WHAT WAS THAT?!”

“Nothing. What do we do now?” Goldar asked as he was recovering. The changelings thought his true form was just him using a very advanced form a transformation magic, Chrysalis was still unconscious but she would easily by the lie since Rita used strange magics she’s never seen before and will chalk it up to that.

None of the changelings knew that Atir was just a disguise Rita was using to hide her true form. Thankfully Rita sealed the doors with her magic to make sure no one walked in and saw her in her true form. As far as the changelings and Chrysalis knew, she was still Atir, the fallen changeling Queen.

“I don’t know. I’ll need a moment to think. Dammit, as we speak the green ranger is probably already forming a plan to take us down.” Rita fumed.

The power rangers were the biggest threat to her and her plans but the green ranger was the deadliest out of all of them. Somehow, he managed to get his powers back. She had to make preparations. But thankfully she already had someone who would help her with that.

A white furred being stepped out of the shadows, the being was dressed in blue robes and looked elderly. It looked like it was part dog and something else entirely unknown. It had long pointed ears and a set of glasses that rested on the bridge of it's snout. The final piece of it's outfit was a royal blue headband.

"Finster! What kept you so long!" Rita growled

"I'm sorry my Empress, but I had to make sure everything was okay on the ship and that it was well hidden. None of the inhabitants of this world suspect a thing." Finster apologized.

"I beg to differ on that." Goldar snorted as he tried to move from the bed only to collapse back on it.

"What do you mean?" Finster asked with confusion.

"Equestria has found out about us and Celestia is going to meet with the other world leaders. The changelings still think we're changelings ourselves but from this point on we are going to have to up our game by a lot." Rita said as she managed to calm herself down. Slightly.

"What? How did this happen, you're plan was perfect my lady!" Finster said with worry at the plan failing.

"It was, if it weren't for a particular power ranger showing up." She groaned.

"They're here! How many?" He asked.

"One."

"Just one. That's not so bad." He said.

"...It's Tommy Oliver, the original green ranger." The space witch deadpanned.

"Oh dear." He said with worry.

"That is why I am in need of your skills." She said as an evil smile spread across her lips.

"I am at you're service my lady." He said as he bowed his head in respect.

"What kind of monster's do you wish for Empress Rita?" He asked.

She thought for a moment as she tapped her chin for as she thought for a moment.

"I don't mind them being a little goofy every now and then as long as they are able to get the job done, but I really feel like a Lovecraftian horror theme would be nice too. You know, scaring them to insanity all the while killing them. Plus they are kind of interesting." Rita said as she talked about the subject as if she were shopping with her husband for furniture. He always did get annoyed at how long she took to decide.

"In the end it really is up to you. This is more your area of expertise."

"As you wish my lady. But it will take a while." Finster said to which she nodded. He bowed his head before he walked out of the room.

"I'm on to you Tommy. I know that as we speak, you are planning and readying yourself for battle against me. Probably coming up with thousands of battle strategies. But I will not be so easily defeated." Rita thought

Meanwhile Tommy was a sleep at his computer desk, he had been tired after the day’s events. Not only did he fight in a giant monster battle but he helped the princesses by giving them some books on technology and science as well as some military books. He had to help the royal guards sort through them to make sure they were getting the right ones.

Tommy groggily woke up and looked at the computer screen. The light from the computer screen dimly lighting the room.

He stared at the monitor for a moment, remembering the day’s events before coming to a conclusion.

“Life can’t get any more complicated.” He groaned.

At that moment, a video chat window opened up and he saw his mother and father on the screen.

“TOMMY!” His mother cried in worry at finally seeing her missing son.

“WHERE ARE YOU!” His father asked with worry.

“Correction, it just did.” Tommy groaned before letting his head hit the desk in exhaustion. (12)

Author's Note

(1) The sword is basically the power sword that Tommy uses in the end fight of POWER/RANGERS UNAUTHORIZED BOOTLEG UNIVERSE video.

(2) Tommy has much more combat experience than the kids. Especially when it comes to so swords and hand-to-hand combat. So it's only natural that he's able to take out XANA's programs without too much trouble when being compared to the kids. Especially with his training and powers.

(3) I never understood why Ailita in some scenes ran into the data towers when she was exploring Lyoko and would be fazed into them instantly, but when they needed to stop XANA she does the slow mode thing of entering the data tower when everyone is about to die when time is a huge factor.

(4) Equestria is just coming into their version of the Playstation 1 Era and other game consoles (Fifth Generation Video Game Consoles). Naturally the newer game consoles are going to be much better. Thus leading to Gamer Rarity going nuts.

(5) Tommy's powers naturally make him more resistant to damage. He can take much more damage than the average human.

(6) Instead of the rangers wearing spandex like in the show, they were battle armor that enhances their strength, speed, stamina, and reaction time as well as healing capabilities, but only slightly on the healing abilities. The armor is able to withstand magic to a certain degree as well as stop bullets.
The armor was made to provide some protection against Rita's and Lord Zedd's magic, which could still do massive damage to the rangers if they weren't careful.

On the other hand Chrysalis's magic is nowhere near their level. Also, Rita and Zedd use an entirely different form of magic than what is even used or known to exist in Equestria or any other countries of the MLP:FiM world.

(7) In this fic most of the changeling hives in other regions are actually peaceful. Chrysalis's hives just so happens to be hostile at the moment. The reason will be revealed later on in the story.

(8) Goldar is just passing off his changing of his form as a scare tactic. Since changelings are shape shifters, no one is really going to question it considering that they can all do it.

(9) Imagine the move Mercury Black uses when he's fighting Yang Xio Long in RWBY during the tournament. The one where he is firing blasts from his legs only for them to float around the arena before all of them slamming back into Yang.

(10) Only the Zords spark when they gets hit. Normal people and rangers don't.

(11) It's harder to tell if someone is lying when you can't see their face... Which is why I'm thankful my boss can't see my face whenever I call in 'sick' on the phone.

(12) Since Tommy still had a strong connection to the internet of earth, it would only make sense that he is able to still maintain contact through emails and video chats.

I hope you all like the Code Lyoko cameo this chapter. I saw that everyone liked the Sailor Moon cameo in the previous chapter. So I decided to do another cameo in this one.

Hello everypony. I'm really sorry about how long this chapter took. Work has been murder, I've also had my house broken into and somethings stolen from me. Which in turn lead to me having to work a lot more hours just to replace some of the things that were stolen. As well as the fact that I'm going to college.

The other reason why I took so long was because I was switching back and forth between my fics. Writing a some on one then switching to another.

Anyway I'm going to be working on my other fics. I'm really close to being done on the next chapter of A Swordsman's Path to Redemption as well as Scouting a New Life. I'm still working on the next chapter of Second Chances for Death's Friends.

I'm sorry for the long wait times and I'm extremely sorry about them

The guy who made the POWER/RANGERS UNAUTHORIZED BOOTLEG UNIVERSE is actually in the process of making a remake of the first three seasons of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers as an R rated grimmdark remake of the series. It will be animated. If approved it will be on Netflix. According to some articles, netflix is very interested in the idea.
