Out the with old in with the new.

Sweetie Bellle muttered to herself as she and Babs Seed wailed down a road alone

. " Who does Scootaloo think she is?! I cannot believe the way she insuited my family! She says I'm spoiled , that she deserves what I have! The worse part is Applebloom agreed with her!"

Babs could hear her friend complaining and decied to add her thoughts.

" I know! That was real rude of them I mean I know Scootaloo and my cousin are going through tough times right now but that's no reason to bully somepony !"

She grunted to herself. Babs loved her cousin and always would but what she had done today was outright rude!

Meanwhile not far way. Silver Spoon walked down the same road but she was completely alone

" Who needs Diamond any way?! What she said o me was unforgivable! She called me a lackey and second best! Like she dosn't need me . That was just.. Ugh sometimes she is just insufferable ! Well fine if she wants to treat me like a toy rather then a friend then who needs friends?! I'm fine all by myself!"

As Silver Spoon said these words she wanted them to be true. She wanted to be strong and not depend on anypony at al. But the more she thought about it the more she realized that a life without friends would extremly lonely indeed. Just as she finished contemplating this concept she bumped right in to Sweetie Belle and Babs Seed .

For a few seconds the 3 fillies only glared at each other. Until Silver Spoon opened her mouth.

" What are you stupid blank flanks doing here?!"

She snapped. She wasn't exactly in the mood to see them and frankly they shared her feelings.
Babs glared daggers at her.

." First of all I'm not a blank flank any more! Second of all its none of your damm business !"

She spat. Waking up to Silver's face and growling. Sweetie Belle noded and also growled in agreement.

" Yeah why don't you go bother Diamond Tiara or something and leave us alone?!"

She said . Emphasizing her statement by making a " shoo " motion with her hooves. Silver Spoon shot a enraged glare at the two of them.

" Oh what do you two morons know?! You have absolutely no idea what I've just been through!"

She snarled as she began to storm away in a huff. Babs quickly turned away as well but Sweetie Belle however noticed something she hadn't before and she wanted to investigate it.

" Silver Spoon have you been crying ?"

She asked her rival in concern. Silver Spoon turned around quickly . She couldn't let them see her like this! They would think she was weak! She growled and shook her head rapidly.

" N- no what gave you that idea?!"

She snapped blowing a raspberry in their direction.

Sweetie Belle was no fool. Her tone grew serious as she stepped closer to Silver Spoon."

" Yes you are. Now tell us what's wrong ."

She prompted intent on helping her. Silver Spoon lokked at her but then quickly turned away and
muttered.

" Why would you care ? Don't you hate me?"

Babs Seed also gave Sweetie a strange look and raised her brow.

" Yeah why would we help her? She's a bully."

Sweetie gave her friend a quick glare and began to scold her.

" Because I don't want to see her cry!"

She turns back to Silver Spoon and smiles.

"I'm sorry about that Silver. Now can you please tell Babs and I why your so upset?"

Silver Spoon tries to hold it in. She's unsure if she can fully trust Sweetie Belle but eventully her sadness won out. She couldn't hold it in anymore. Her lip quivered as she confessed what had happened.

" Diamond and I .. We're not friends anymore. We were playing a game and I made some jokes. I gloated a bit about how my family was smarter then hers. I didn't mean it I was just joking . But she was furious she screamed at me.. Told me that I knew nothing and that if it wasn't for her I wouldn't even have any friends if weren't for her pitying me."

She began to sob softly into Sweetie Belle's shoulder. Sweetie honestly felt really sorry for Silver Spoon. She knew Diamond Tiara had a tendency to be cruel but Sweetie would've never thought that she wouid cast out her best friend. Sweetie Belle actully didn't mind Silver Spoon all that much. Sure she went along with Diamond's plans but she never really did anything malicious on her own or seem enjoy it as much as Diamond Tiara did. She was ready to give Silver Spoon a chance at friendship. .

Sweetie looked down at the grey earth pony and hugs her.

" Its ok Silver Spoon you didn't do anything wrong you were just joking.. Plus we know how you feel."

Silver Spoon looked up as she started to dry her tears.

" How could you two possibly know how i feel?"

She asked bitterly. As she bit her lip.

Babs spoke up. She still wasn't sure if they could trust Silver Sooon but from what she'd observed before she was actully nicer then Diamond Tiara . Despite her better judgment telling her not to Babs would give Silver Spoon the benefit of the doubt

" Well we're not exactly friends with Applebloom or Scootaloo anymore either. The cutie mark crusaders have disbanded. We got into a serious fight with them and now.. They're just jerks."

Silver Spoon raised her eyebrow. As if to ask a question

" I'm sorry to hear that. What did you guys argue about exactly?"

Sweetie Belle spoke again. In a much louder and angrier voice this time.

" Scootaloo had the nerve to say we were spiolied and privileged and she and Applebloom deserved everything while we didn't deserve anything we have. When I I tried to reason with her she thought I was trying to get her to feel sorry for the two of us. She said that she would ." Never feel sorry for ponies who had everything. " Not only that but she made fun of unicorns as a species too! Applebloom wasn't as bad but she still took Scootaloo's side in the argument!"

Sweetie Belle ranted throwing her hooves up in the air.
Silver Spoon was shocked. She knew Scootaloo wasn't the kindest member of the cmc. Far from it actully but she never thought this would happen.

" Wow that sounds really rude of them!"

She growled. For some reason Silver Spoon found herself getting offfened by Scootaloo's words herself. When she thought about it what Scootaloo and Applebloom had said was not very different at all from what Diamond Tiara had used to insult her with just hours ago. They all realized something they were all in the same boat so to speak.
Babs nodded in agreement.

" Yeah your telling us! They were just a bunch of assholes!"

Sweetie Belle gave Silver Spoon a slight look.

"Now do you see why we were so angry when you and Diamond used to bully us?"

She asked in a stern tone with a raised eyebrow. Silver Spoon sighed and nodded solemnly.

" Yes I see why you girls got so upset and .. I'm sorry "

Sweetie Belle smiled warmly. At her apology.

" Thank you Silver we accept your apology you. We're glad to have you as our new friend."

Sweetie Belle and Silver Spoon gladly iaccetd a hug from each other. Babs tried to escape the hug but much like Scootaloo had in the first meeting of the cmc she failed miserably. After the lung crushing hug was finished Babs smiled and laughed.

" Well why are we standing around taking about the hick, the feather brain and the rich brat for?! Let's go celebrate our new friendship!"

The others cheered as they started off.

" Hey Silver Spoon since we're friends now. How about the 3 of us grab a milkshake at sugar cube corner?"

Silver Spoon smiled brightly and giggled.

" That sounds like a lot of fun! Let's do it! Oh and thanks guys.. You really are good friends."
As they began trotting toward sugar cube corner

Sweetie and Babs both turned and smiled at her.

" No problem that's what friends are for."

They said happily in unison. As they started walking again Silver Spoon couldn't be happier. They weren't like Diamond Tiara but they semmed like the greatest friends she'd had in really long time. Hanging out with them wouid actully be fun.

Too bad their fun was about to be cut short. While the friendship between Sweetie Belle , Silver Spoon and Babs Seed was being formed another new team was also in the process of forming. One that wouid terrorize the former for years to come. It formed at sugar cube corner. Sccotaloo was drowning her rage in a milkshake.

" Stupid asshole Sweetie Belle she thinks she's better then me! I'll show her!."

Scootaloo snarled to nopony in particular. Applebloom was siting next to her also taking a drink. She sighed at the bad tempered pegusus and shook her head.

" Scoots you know Ah wanna get back at them too but until we have a plan there's nothin we can do!"

She growled annoyed. Scootaloo however wasn't really listening to well. She stil continued to complain and punch thing. Suddenly a familar voice from the next table said something.

" Looks like I'm not the only one who's having a horrible day."

The two fillies turned to see Diamond Tiara. Who like Scootaloo seemed to be attempting to get drunk off a milkshake. It clearly and obviously wasn't working for either of them.
Applebloom and Sccotaloo glared annoyed Diamond.

" What do you want Diamond Tiara?"

Applebloom growled with a snort. Diamond Tiara glared back at them.

" Nothing it's just i noticed you blank flanks were having a bad day like I was."

She remarked not implying anything in particular. Sccotaloo once again gave her a angry look.

" Right and I'm guessing you want to make worse like you always do?"

She spat getting in Diamond Tiara's face.

Diamond gave her a deadpan stare and shook her head.

" Do you honestly think I have no life outside of picking on you?"

She asked annoyed and putting a hoof to her face. Scootaloo and Applebloom weren't really sure how to respond to that. Most of the time when they saw Diamond Tiara that's what she was doing."
Scootaloo scratched her head embarrassed.

" Well um sorry. Why are you having a bad day like we are?"

Diamond turned away and scowled at them sourly.

""Why would you two care if I was upset?"

She growled turning away from them. Applebloom raised her eyebrow in response.

"'Well y'all don't really have anypony else to talk to. So why not?"

Diamond sighed knowing the farm filly was right. Sighing she turned around to face them again.

" Fine I'll tell you.. Silver Spoon had a really severe argument and we're officially not friends anymore. We're enemies.

As she confessed her voice seemed to get softer and a tee dropped from her eye. Applebloom and Scootaloo were extremly surprised by this news the two rich fillies were always so close.

" Y'all were closer then two snakes tied in a knot what happened to you girls?"

Applebloom wasn't usually one to care for Diamond Tiara but now she was genuinely worried for her rival. Diamond sighed in defeat again.

" She insuited me and my family quite badly. She claimed that she was far more intelligent them I am. I was deeply offended so we went our separate ways."

Applebloom now gave Diamond a sad smile and sighed.

" Well Ah'm sorry to here you lost your best friend . We just went through a similar situation with Sweetie Belle and Babs Seed. Yep the cutie mark crusaders is officially disbanded."

Before Diamond Tiara could recover from the shock that the cmc no longer existed Scootalo spoke up.
" Well I don't feel sorry for Diamond Tiara."

She growled bitterly. The two earh ponies looked at her quizzically.

" Not even a little?"

They asked in unison. Sure they weren't on the best of terns with DT but she had just lost her only friend. Scootaloo crossed her hooves stubbornly and seemed to be pouting.

." No like I told Swetie Belle and Babs before I don't feel bad for ponies who have everything !"

As she yelled this statement out. Diamond Tiara's eye began to twitch a bit.

" You really think I have everything I want Scootaloo?! At least you have a sister! My dad only buys me shit to keep me busy. He dosn't care about me and never had! Silver Spoon was the only one who protected me before I got my cutie mark. Now she's gone and I have nopony now."

She looked down sadly and began to cry. Scootaloo actually felt really bad this time.

" Listen your right I should've said that I'm really sorry. ."

Scootaloo said patting Diamond on the back. Diamond Tiara smiled slightly back at her and
Apple bloom.

" I never thought I'd say this but.. Thank you girls for what it's worth I'm extremly sorry about ever teasing you. I can understand you being envious of Sweetie Belle and Silver Spoon."

Scootaloo grinned as as she and Diamond Tiara began discussing their enimiies. Suddenly Applebloom got an idea.

" Wait a second y'all Ah've got a idea!" How about since all 3 of us aren't friends with those 3 anymore we start our own group?"'

Diamond Tiara and Scootaloo looked each other for a few seconds. Then they charged in approve,.
' I like it !" Sccotaloo laughed.

." I approve !" Diamond agreed .

They shared a smirk and high hoofed each other. Shortly after Sweetie Belle, Silver Spoon and Babs Sed walked into suar cube corner. As they went to sit down. Tueir new rivals pushed them off the table instantly.

." That was good but I think we shouid be more original."

Scoots commented with a slight shrug. Diamond Tuara thiught and remembered she'd stolen one of her dad's stamps of business that mourning. She and her two new friends walked over to their rival group and stamped the words ." Looser" and " idiot " onto their heads and plots.

Scootaloo smirked in approval as they trotted away.. Sweetie Belle stood up and fired a weak blast of magjc at them.

Applebloom snickered and turged back around.

" Ya missed !"

The new antagonistic group laughed to themselves as they walked off. Silver Spoon glared after them

" girls this means war!"

Her friends nodded as they headed to Sweetie Belle's home to prepare. One thing was certain when this thing was over there was going to be a lot of annoyed adults. It also end with a very amused dragon and a equally amused chaos spirit who watched in the background.
