It's A Wonderful Life
Your Accident
Load Full StoryYour name is Thunder Clap, a pegasus from Canterlot. You live a lonely life as a...fuck...you don't even remember. All you do is work, go home, fly, and repeat. No time to think about relationships. You decide to change that, possibly.
You are flying, enjoying the beautiful night. The air whips through your wings and face, making you chortle with delight. "Woohoo!" you say as you do a quick barrel roll. You weren't looking where you were going, and currently are flying straight towards a tower, over Canterlot. You try to avert the sharp spires by swerving, but with no avail. Your right wing clips the spire of the tower and you scream a few words your mother would not approve as you smash into something hard and cold, your vision completely red. Pain ripples throughout your body as you feel what true pain is. A calm and soothing voice tells you it's going to be okay and tells you to relax. You obey, the mare above you gently rubbing your back as you feel blood pour from your wing socket. "Shhhh...it's okay..." she coos into your ear -"Just relax". You willingly obey as warmth floods your veins and you black out. As you fade into blackness you remember hitting something. Then this shit happened. You wake up in a bed. Not just any bed, the comfiest bed EVER. In all of Equestria. The voice from before coos again. "What is your name, little one? You caused quite the mess." You tell her your name, Thunder Clap. "Can you move your wing?" she asks. "I don't want to cause any more damage." You weakly nod and ask if you could roll over. She replies yes and you do, rolling onto your back and cracking open your eyes. You see your best friend, Octavia Melody. She giggles. You think that that is the absolutely CUTEST thing you've ever heard. "You-you're...beautiful..." you mumble, just barely computing the pure elegance in front of you. The Princess of the Night is sitting. In bed. With you. Holy shit. You feel a redness coming to your face as you try to hide your blush. The mare next to you smiles and tells you "Sleep, little one. There will be things to care about tomorrow." She kisses your forehead and you stammer out a "O-o-Okay, Octy". You feel sleep tug at you and you lay your head down, silently reminding yourself to hurt yourself more if it meant this.
