Chapters Hello I, am Rex and... IM JIMMY HELLO. SHUT IT JIMM. yes as you have seen that is... well.. jimmy sadly i have to live eevery second of my life with and 3 others but its not that bad having voices in your head. I mean at least you wont get lonely thoe it will get bothersom if your not use to it thoe I've lived with it for about 1627 years ever since i was sent to PLUTO of all the useless planets i get sent to pluto and thats not even considered a planet. And I'm coming back but not to get revenge but to thank the ones who have sent me here. You would think i would go to get revenge but no I find myself wanting to thank them for getting rid of my childish ways lets hope they dont send me back before I can explain myself.
Celestia's POV
It was a normal day the average noble trying to get there way on something or other and i was almost done for the day. When suddenly I get an urgent message from my student twilight, thoe it was only urgent when I saw the description of the new friend she has made today. The one i once knew as Rex, his large body a head higher than I, and a robotic left arm shaped as a cylinder with small buttons and gismose of all kinds with wires going here and there and even some gears showing on the outside. What the dont know is the power he holds and i rush to get my sister and we set off to find the fiend and rid the world of him once again.
Twilight's POV 1hour before
I was having a nice day having a picnic with my friends when pinkie noticed somthing in the sky."Hey guys look at that it's like fireworks,"pinkie said in a strangly calm voice pointing in the air at something when i looked it was like a meteor shower was coming in but with little bits coming off one larger astroid, but it was heading strait for ponyville, and it wasnt getting much smaller.
"Oh Celestia what ever it is it's coming strait for ponyville and fast. we need to get evryone away as fast as posible its heading for town square, Dash your the fastest go get evrypony away as fast as you can," says twilight as rainbow gos on her way to help and everyone els fallows.
Rex's POV
I awaken from my slumber on pluto to find im falling and the only things keeping me from freaking out are that im use to falling, I have very great training, and my sanity is almost completly depleted. So here I am falling to a painful landing that I probly wont feel due to my lack of proper nerve endings and emense power as well as armor. I dicide to turn over to see my landing area and notice a small town and gain a smile on my face as i pull my arms in to allow a faster decent. As I'm landing I notice a rainbow beam almost going to were I was about to land and then i notice ponies all over the area I am going to land on and that they are moving away before i can crush them. This slightly sadens me that they wont get crushed but I dont worry about it.
When i land i feel the full force go on my entier body not including my left because its robotic and the nanobots poor out of my arm to fix it imedeatly so i dont have to worry about that but i notice when the smoke cleared that i am surounded by ponies and one in particular I notice and without hesitation my sanity slips for a momment an i say "Hello Twilight." and notice all the stares go strait to her. aparently i got her name right and this noticably worries heras she asks franticly "How do you now my name!." and so it began.
"Oh Twilight I know many thing I definantly should not know, and your name just so happens to be one of them," I say with apparent glee in my voice.
"But how in the name of Celestia are you alive if you fell that far it should have killed you," Twilight said disconcerning the fact that i know her name and noticing the broken bits of my arm cannon being visibly fixed by nanobots probly thinking it was magic.
"Oh and being rudly sent to pludo wasnt enough now i have to deal with her again and not to mention her sister if shes back," I said accidentaly out loud and all the ponies gasped at what I said. Then without a thought a ask kindly "Were are the princesses I would like to chat with them I have very important information for them both,"
I was then rudely interupted as a cyan mare with a rainbow main flew up to me saying "And who are you to talk about the princesses like that."
I then proceeded to crack my neck and say " Was I asking you Welp. The only thing keeping me from drinking frome your skull and using your limbs as tooth picks is becouse im trying to be nice and unlike my old self. As a wise man once said 'With great power comes great responsibility' and I will not allow myself to become like i was again. And as for you I would suggest you shut your trap or i will personaly rip you limb from limb and beat you with them. AM I CLEAR!!!!!"
She then contiues ever to rudly with "How are going to do that with one arm you big baby,"
Im over her antics now that i dont even speak I grab one of her forehooves and swirl her in the air until he hoof come off and she gos flying into a group of ponys to my right. "Silly horse trix are for kids," I say turning her hoof into a box of cireal and munching on some and replenishing her hoof back on with a smack. I then ask my earlyer quetion of were the pricesses are to twilight who kindly if only slightly shaken by what she has seen with.
"she's at canterlot but would you mind staying here im sure she's busy anyway and i can wright a letter to her when we get back to the library. If that's ok with you anyway,"
I then say "Ah finaly some hospitality is given to me this fine day," and we proseed to twilight's lovely abode.
After a thousand quetions and an hour later she finaly writes the letter as i sit on her couch and only she can see me bacouse i know what should happen next and it will be funny. A few minutes after she sends the letter we see a bright flash and i hide my magic signeture only Discord would be able to find me in this state and even then it would be hard but when celestia and luna appear celestia starts with "Were is he?"
"He's on the couch right there. why?"
"Twilight this is no joke where is he!!" Celestia says in a stern tone after looking at the couch.
"Oh I'm here but were Am I," I say startling celestia noticably.
"Show your self coward!!!" Celestia says angerly.
"Oh ok but only becouse your so cute and pudgy," i say further shocking celestia as I appear on her back with a cowbow hat on and my arm now in grasing mode so i have two hands with its nice steampunk desighn. Before she can do or say anything i turn to my shadow form going in every one of celestias pours and gaining ever bit of knowledge i can from her deliciouse brain and shooting out of her horn and onto the statue in the middle of the room saying "Ah deliciouse as always cele and now are you ready?"
Author's Note
Just to let you guys know this story Will be very slow to start because im still getting used to writing and im also very forgetful so dont be alarmed if it suddenly takes 3 months for a very short chapter to be released and 1more thing thank you for reading the story and comment.
Everything was at a stand still as everyone but me was shocked, and then I broke the silence with a loud laugh and tumbling to the floor. Seeing all the shocked faces was priceless. I comment through my giggle fit with "Oh you should see the look's on your faces its wonderful," and suddenly pull out a cone with cottoncandy on it.
Celestia is the first to recover and is infuriated and tells twilight to gather her friends and the Elements of Harmony. when twilight is gone im back on the statue and she glares daggers at me.
I then try to explain myself "Oh come on Cele that was great lighten up, And before i forget Id like to thank you and little Lulu over there for you have shown me the error of my ways, and set me on the correct path,"
Luna then speaks saying "thou would never change, thou would go to tartarus and back and not change at all."
"Oh but thats where you are wrong young mistress of the night. For I have spent nearly one thousand and five hundred years of my long life on the most USELESS planet, PLUTO and I have learnd many more thing's there than you would learn for ten thousand on the moon. Now I would love to sit hear blabering on about this but I daught you would like to explain all this to poor twilight and her friends this tale would you, the sad truth of you and your sisters misfortunate fals hopes,"
No one but me noticed the the elements of harmony walk in just in time to hear that last part."I will..." Is all Celestia got out when twilight spoke up.
"What is he talking about celestia,"
The room goes silent with that and I crackle a laugh from hell as I teleport away to find a long lost friend of mine hidden well in the everfree forest.
Celestia's POV
I sit there thinking how I will get out of this one when I notice Rex teleporting away. I look were he is to see him turning and vanishing in an instant."We must find him. he cant continue his plan," Twilight looks at me shocked and I try to fill her in on what happened oh so long ago. "Twilight he is no friend to Equestria. He is a vile, putrid, horrible being of chaos and destuction and we need to take him down we can worry about other questions later come on," And with that they all get moving to find Rex.
Rex's POV
I walk through the forest trying to find my friend and coming out to find nothing so i decide it best to make a new base of operations. It just so happens that I wonder up on the old castle of the pony sisters and I chose to make it my own. But when I go inside I end up finding my friend Arkosid by accident and he notices me walk in ready to do my biding "Hello master would you like a muffin," He says without a second thought. The lovely steampunk design I gave him was a great on my part.
As he stumbles along to make some muffins I try to redecorate and end up with a lovely and deadly looking throne with fake human skulls on the arms and a large demonic helmet on top with red cushoning and gold lining it giving off a nice shine. The whole castle is refurbished to a more deathly look black and red on most with dark steel or bronze outlineing and an entrance that would give any devil a heart attack with large spikes and many kinds of skulls real or not. I even managed to get some banners with my dragon skull cross insignia on and put them up.
Just as I had finished puting on the final touches I heard the sound of the front gates opening and closing, and seeing that it wasn't Arkosid I went to check it out and found that it was Celestia and the rest of the group of all thing's, thoe I shouldnt be suprised with all the magic I used she probly tracked it quickly. "Why hello lady's. How are you today," I say with a happy expretion noticing all but pinky looking with anger in there eye's.
"This is not the tome for joke's Rex. What are you planing," Celestia says with all the rage in the world in her voice.
"Oh Cele you think so porly of me. I would like to apolagise for my wrong doing's in the past I'm sure we could come to some sort of agreement."
"Why should we trust you to keep a promiss with what you have done in the past."
Suddenly Arkosid come's out with muffins and tea. "Ah perfect timing Aro. would you like to discuss this over some tea and muffin's," I say trying to be nice.
"I will need to bake more cupcakes sir," Arkosid says with sadness in his metalic voice for not having enough for everyone.
"It's fine they can wait for more," I declare grabing some muffin's from him.
"I'm not sure I would like to trust those cupcake's but I am willing to try to come to an agreement" Celestia agree's long enough for me to lead her and the rest of the group to my personal quiet room.
When we get there we take our seat's and start with some tea wile the muffins and made and we start dicusing an arrangement for me to be free, It took a wile with a lot of screaming and breaking ao thing to calm my nerves witch didnt help getting on cele's good side, so I'll skip to the end.
"How about you stay here and not bother my little ponies and we only contact you if we need your help. Is that fare with you?"
"Oh but that's so boring and discord would agree with that I know from personal experiance and I do not agree with it. I think I should be aloud to go around with the ponies but to not harm or manipulate tham as best I can and you can sumon me when needed,"Surprisingly they agree and I am let free for now but one slip up and back to pluto I go.
Anyway the next morning I decide to use my newfound freedom and go out for a little snack at applejack's orchard. I am pleased to say it whent horribly wrong, aparently I was trespassing and now am not allowed back, but I got a few apples out of it so I dont mind. I then go to see how my favorite element of magic is doing and stumble upon a hord of ponie's fighting over somthing and notice it is a doll of some kind and a crazed twilight sparkle trying to get them to stop and failing badly. I chose after a few moments that I should help the young being.
"Hello twilight would you like some help on this spell gone wrong," I say trying to be helpful.
"Why would you help me. From what I hear you were a horrible pony that tortured and manipulated ponies into doing thing's they wouldt want and even made some go mad."
"Well I was but I have changed in many ways, some you would never get the chance to find out, but I will try to help as needed to help the ponies get over my horrid past the will forever haunt me. Some so no one can ever change who they are, but I have almost completly changed from not to old and stupid to being a wise elder of what once was my people and gaining new and chaotic power. Even Arkosid has part of my mind in him he was one of the four other minds stuck forever in my head and I set him free because he was the part of my greatest parts. my knowledge and he will stick with me through thick and thin becouse he knows I needed someone to keep my from my dark deep inards and to controle my wild behavier and I have learned through him what it means to have friendship and to become greatness within and spread it out to all around me. That is my life, whats your's."
"I never knew I'm sorry.."
"Dont be. No one ever knew, I never told anyone, and most of it was just me rambling on about the past. So would you like help or not?"
"I..I guess so." As she says this I imediatly get to work and try to get the toy away so she can do her spell.
It ended quickly and most everything was back to normal and as everyone left I noticed a large red stallion run off with the doll and ask twilight if she wanted it back, thoe she denied I thought it nice to ask.
I got back to my lovely abode and decided to add a gun range somewere outside and blew away some trees with a hydra rocket or two and set up a nice area to blow stuff up and make new things. I started by making a new tank to add to my arsonal and conected it to my mind so I could sumon it easyer. It was a large beast of metal and rolling fire made mostly of condenced maraging steel and various other very strong materials covered in a few layers of graphene and painted black, red, and used more dark steel for the edging."Oh this will be fun to use."

I also want ahead and searched up some amasingly strong materials for the tank.they are cool as butts.

It was a normal day walking around ponyville looking for something to do and then I notice five filly's and see what there up to. It is then that I realise that we have bully's in our midst and I decide to do somthing about it noticing quickly that two are sisters of the elements and one of there friends along with the two bullys. I quietly teleport behind the two bullys and ask "So what do we have here? A couple of no good dirty little bullys trying there hardest to make these three feel bad"
"Oh ya what are you going to do about it freak?" She says making the biggest mistake of her life, bullying others I can get over but she has just insulted the strongest being in this realm.
"Oh you dont know the horrors that follow you for that little one," I say just before I consume her frind in shadow so as to not interfear. I then proced to grasp her spine and tear it out and smack her with it making sure she lives with a bit of chaotic power and as she slams into a wall like a bullet going through three others. when she finaly stops I teleport next to her forcing her spine back in its place healing the wound but leaving every bit of pain as a memory to not piss me off. "learn from your elders and dont be the snuty rich girl who thinks they can have everything for themselfs, becouse not even a princess gets everything they want."
I go back to the three to make sure they were ok and found out after a little chating and them geting used to me to find they were the so called cuty mark crusaders.
Later that evning I get a request from celestia to have a talk of what happend knowing I tecnicly broke my promise to not harm any ponies I chose to decline and instead got visited by the elements and princesses at my castle that now had many new robotic minions at my command.
"What did you do Rex," celestia says in an angry tone.
"I got rid of some bullys for now, they are perfetly fine celestia now go be on your way and as for these I have no idea why these are still around they should have been destroid long ago," I say looking at the elements with a curious look "Not by me of course but from all the power they consume with each use and the amount of chaotic power in discord would have made them useless after me and lulu used what we did and now they should just be ordinary gem's. there must be somthing powering them," having teleported twilights element of magic in my hand and examining it before teleporting it back in place in twilights crown."Oh and one other thing I think discord is going to be helpfull with some things later I might need him for something."
"Why in equestrias name would we let discord out and why would the elements be destroid,"
"Well I would like to think of it as a trust exersise and I already explained the other one thoe If you see cerburus let me know 'cause there are some thing that I need to do and I'd rather not have a bounch of hooligans runing around trying to take my stuff or my land for that matter,"
"What do you mean your land?" says the elements all at once.
"Well I am older than ether princess and discord as well me and discord used to run this place before they showed up at the door and stole what was ours. I can understand discord was young and just wanted chaos everywere but when I tryed peace with the supposed peacfull princesses I get blasted with the elements and stuck on pluto and now here we are in this stolen land," I say making pie float above the pricesses and slaming it on there heads when I finished.
"That was unnecessary,"Celestia says
"But you didn't try peace all you did was laugh at us for trying like a big bully to small foal's,"Luna says thinking she was right.
My anger starting to rise I respond with "You thought I was laughing at you and so you go strait for the elements and I get stuck on pluto before I can try and make a peacefull solution to the whole mess, also I wasnt laughing at you trying I was laughing at the doings behind you that the child of chaos made."
The look of sarrow on there faces only made my anger grow and I almost shot something with my cannon before they spoke up. "We are trully sarry ..."
"YOU SHOULD BE," I yell releasing some anger geting a cyan mare forced in my face.
"You cant talk to the pricesses like that!"
"Shut it runt or your going out the window."
"Oh, you think your tough you big sac of rocks."She just barly finishes before being sucked up into my cannon and being launched out the window like a cannon ball.
"You ponies are getting on my nerves," I exclaim through grited teeth ready to kill anything that gets near.
"You need to stop and calm down," Twilight says in a worryed tone.
"WHY SHOULD I SPARKLE BUTT."I say this as Arkosid come's in to see what has happened.
"Sir I would advise to calm down before you get in to much truble. As for everyone els I would like to ask you to leave immediately."
No one moves but the princesses to try to get everyone calm when suddenly a giant mass of shadow forces everyone and everything away leaving the castle in a pile of rubble and ash with a grusome flaming face with a shaddered mouth shaping a smile that would kill million's.
"I WILL HAVE NO MORE OF THIS AND I WILL MAKE YOU ALL SLAVES OF CHAOS. NO ONE WILL STOP ME!!"
"Quick use the elements."
As the elements charged Rex in his new shadow form swirled at them with insane glee and as the rainbow power shot out at him he swirled away from it going strait for the crown on twilight's head and the gem on top that would gleam no more as he forced his way into it consuming it and making it fly off of twilight's head bursting the gleaming gold away from the gem in a shower of magic sparks and consuming the element of magic and making it useless. All of this transpired within seconds before anyone could even consider doing anything besides breathing. Then he went for the others and with the elements consumed and any spell use with them reversed.
"How do you like me now without your pitiful elements of harmony!"
At that everyone but Arkosid ran or teleported away.
"That's right run you coward's. RUN!!"
