Twilight sparkle is an alicorn now. Pinkie pie, rarity, fluttershy, applejack, and rainbow dash have passed away, and spike is on his deathbed. Twilight must deal with her immortality, or she will never accept. Meanwhile, Luna is horrified by Celestia's neglect of twilight's emotional issues, and takes on the roll of mentor herself.
