I was walking down a path in the middle of this forest. It looked wild and untamed. But it wasn't something i'd freak out about. I knew this forest. It was easy to guess anyways. It was called the 'EverFree Forest'. If one stayed camping in the middle of it they'd know why it was called that. 'Ever' stood out for the word 'Forever' and the word 'Free' meant... free. Not free from the shop but free to grow. 'ForeverFree Forest' was its original name but as time went on i guess ponies prefered to call it the 'EverFree Forest'. But anyways. By now you're all wondering who i am? I am Princess Harmony. Yes Princess.  Princess of the Lengendary kingdom Paradise and the Goddess of Harmony and Balence. Why Blalence too you ask? That's something you'll find out later on. As I said i was walking down a path.  I then saw a little village, or town. Looked more like a town to me though. I trotted into the small town. As i did i soon spotted a tree with a door and windows and it had a sign that said 'Golden Oaks Library.' I entered it. When i did a bell rung. When it did a lavender unicorn came in. She had purple eyes and her mane and tail were down and had the colour violet with hot pink strips doing down them. "Hello. My name is Twilight Sparkle. Welcome to the golden okes library. How can i help you?" She asked happily. My talent allows me to be able to sense is the harmonic balence was off or not or if somepony wasn't in a 'harmonic' mood. The harmonic balence is a balence between good and evil... light and dark... whatever bursts your bubble. "Oh hello. Terribly sorry to interupt.I'm new here and i was just looking around-exploring- and i came upon your library." I replied offering a smile. She happily took. "Oh so you're new? Don't worry you are not interrupting anything honestly... I see you're a unicorn too... oh sorry i forgot... what's your name?" Twilight asked me. "My... my name... my name is Harmony." I replied with a smile. "What an interisting name... but it's nice to meet you Harmony. Do you need a tour around Ponyville?" Twilight offered me. "Oh yes please. If it's not too much to ask for... I would just simply love a small tour."  I replied with a smile and a nod. We were both on our tour. My new friend Twilight showed me most of the places. Sugarcube corner. apple farm owned by the apple family. The animal adoption center... and a whole lot more. She also showed some of her pony friends. We both walked back tot he library and settled down for a few seconds. "Perfect... now i have to check out this spell the princess sent me... its seems IMPOSSIBLE to do." Twilight exclaimed. I just chuckled. "Mind if i see it?" I asked politely. Twilight nodded and fetched the scroll that contained the complex spell. I read it with a smile growing on my face. "Complex huh?" Twilight asked with a sigh. "Not really... no. It's mainly the teleporting spell but you must teleport things to you and not you to the place to get the things." I explained to Twilight. "How on earth do you do that?" Exclaimed Twilight. I then teleported a pen a paper and gave it to her. "You do it like that. You call your object with your magic. Keep the object in your head and then flow your magic through your body. Next thing you know that very thing should be there." I explained to Twilight. Her mouth was wide open when i explained it. I just chuckled a little. "How do you know? That's like... top leaval magic." She exclaimed throwing her front arms in the air. "Yes i know... You should try it. It's easier than it seems." I said with a smile. "I'm going to write to the princess now... excuse me... oh and please make yourself comfortable..." Twilight excused herself. I sat down on the couch. just going into some random thinking. after some time i came out of my deep thinking and looked down at my neck. Twilight hadn't noticed but i was wearning a golden heart necklace.. It has a golden chain and the heart was a locket. I opened it reveiling a picture of me and my mother. It was in colour. I was a filly in that phtoto. My mother was like me but she had blue eyes. I had my fathers eyes... but a pink that looked like red. I smiled. I love my mother more than i can say... i can't even put it into words... i never really was good at addmitting my thoughts to ponies. "I miss you so much mom..." I whispered. Twilight then entered the roon with a strange looking dragon. "Sorry for the wait... but Spike here didn't want to get out of his comic to write a letter and come here to meet you..." Twilight said. Next to her was a baby purple dragon wih a green belly and spikes comeing down from his head to his tail and he has fish like ears. "Um... hi. I'm Spike... What's your name?" He asked me waving. "Hello Spike it's nice to meet such a cute dragon. My name Is Harmony." I replied to him offering a smile. He gladly took it giving me a smile of his own. The baby dragon then burped up a scroll and gave me an 'excuse me' and handed the scroll to Twilight. I giggled. "Oops... sorry..." He said with a faint blush on his cheeks. I just giggled at this. "Oh. Spike do you want to do some colouring? I've got some crayons and paper with me in my sattlebags." I offered. He nodded eagerly. With my magic i grabbed my bags and flowted them over to us and pulled out some crayons and paper and gave them over to him. He looked at me with a smile. "Thank you Harmony... what do you think i should draw?" He asked me. "I don't know... How about... who about you draw some ponies. I know there MUST be more ponies other than Twilight and me you know." I replied to him. He nodded and started to draw out some ponies. I giggled at him. Twilight then put her scroll away and went over to me. "Sorry about that...Oh the princess is coming over to see us all. She'll be staying for dinner... Oh what am i going to cook?" She asked starting to get worried. I just smiled at her. "I can cook something. I know a family resipy that you will all just love." I suggested. She looked a little surprised at me. "are you sure? I don't think you should cook... you are a guest here I don't want tot be rude." She hesitated. "Oh don't worry. Plus it's the least i can do for you for letting me stay in your guest room." I replied. "If you want to... But i'm still not sure... want me to help then?" She asked me but i sook my head a reponded... "No thank you Twilight... but if i want to get this meal done by the princess gets here... i might need to start now." I told her. She sighed and nodded. "alright... If you say so..." She replied. Spike then came over to us with a smile. "I did it. I drew out Twilight." He said with a giggle. I saw it and only giggled. "It's lovely spike... Maybe you should go put it next to your bed. I think it would look lovely if i do say so." I told him. He nodded and ran upstairs. Me and Twilight just giggled. "He's just so cute like that." She said. "Yes... you did a lovely job raising him... even though he's just a baby he acts like an adult. I should get started or i'll never get the food finished." I agreed. With that done and said i went to the kitchen and started cooking. Later that evening... It was time for the princess to come over to the library. I finished cooking and i let it cool a little. Right now i was sitting next to Spike reading him a story. He seemed so into it. "and they lived happily ever after. The end... So did you like it" I asked him as soon  as i finished. "It was awesome. I Think i'm gonna start reading adventure books." He said eagerly. I giggled. "Go on ahead..." I told him. He nodded and went to see a book on the self about adventures. Twilight then trotted over to me. "He's... he's looking for a book that's not a comic... How on earth did you do that?" She asked me bewildered that Spike was looking for a book not a comic. "I read a book i knew he'd like. He seems like the adventure type... so why not read this book to him." I replied. We then had a knock on the door. Twilight trotted over to the door and opened it. It was the princess. We all bowed to her before she came in. "Princess Celestia. It's lovely to see you again." Twilight said to the princess. "It has been some time my faithful student." She said in an elegent voice. Giving her student a smile. "Yes it has... Oh princess this is Harmony my guest and the pony who i told you about." Twilight introduced me to the princess. I gave her one more bow. "It's lovely to meet you Princess Celestia." I said. "Lovely to meet you too Harmony... So you must be the pony who did the spell i gave to Twilight... am i right?" She asked me. "Yes princess... if i'm honest it was very easy..." I replied to her giving her a smile. "Really? When i first learnt it. It took me time to do it." She told me. "Must have... Oh excuse me i still have to put the table." I told them, " Spike can you help me put the table... I'll help you find a book later if you want after dinner?" "Sure I'll help out." He replied. We both then went to the kitchen and startted to put the table leaving the two alone. "She seems... nice. Though i am wondering how she performed that spell... It's a top leaval magic spell." Celestia said when she thought i was gone. "I know princess... It's very weird. She explained a way to make it work too." Twilight agreed with her mentor and princess. "Yes... I might have her come over to the castle and stay for me to know her better..." Celestia said. "Might be best... Though she's defanatly hiding her cutiemark..." Twilight told her mentor. "Hiding? Why would she do that?" Celestia asked Twilight. "No idea princess... it's probably something personal" Twilight suggested. Celestia nodded. I then popped my head throught the door. "Dinner's ready." I said in a singsong voice. Twilight shrugged to the princess and they both then trotted into the kitchen. We each sat down and started to have dinner. There wasn't much noise at first. But Princess Celestia was the first to break the silence. "Were on earth did you learn to cook like this Hamony? This tasts just perfect." Celestia asked taking another bite of her food. "Family things... nothing more..." I replied. "So... Harmony... do you have a mother and a father?" Twilight asked. "Umm... a mother. I don't really like to talk about my father... honestly i want to keep it that way. My mother says he was just as evil as King Sombra... not literally though." She replied. "Why? What happened?" Celestia asked me looking up at me. "She says he was just abusive and nasty... I have no idea how my mother was able to cope with him." I replied. "Bless... is your mother alright then?" Twilight asked me. "Yes... she's Blind so she cant see. But her other senses work better than anypony elses." I replied. "Yes it's what happens... not very common but it does happen... So are you liking it here in ponyville?" Celestia asked me. "Oh yes. It's a lovely small town. Very polite ponies if i do say so... and friendly too." I replied. Finishing off my food. The others did so too. I then excused myself and picked up the plates washed and put them away. We were all soon in the living room. I was reading another book to spike seeing how he loved the last one. Twilight and the princess were both catching up. "It was funny... Pinkie Pie gets totally random things at totally random times." Twilight told the princess. "Really? How does she do that?" Celestia asked. "Princess... it's Pinkie Pie... we all stopped asking that some time ago..." Twilight replonded. The two then set into a fit of giggles. I was still reading to Spike... i was in the middle of the book actually. "The pony then threw his sword around him cutting all the vines around him. He was done when all of a sudden -" I stopped due to Spike yawning. i giggled. "Sounds great Harmony..." He said yawning once more. I just giggled again. "I think we have a sleepy baby here... Let's get you to bed... shall we?" I said putting a bookmark on the page. "aww... But we were just getting to the good parts..." Spike moaned. "We can read more in the morning... But a baby dragon must have his sleep." I told him. He mumbled some more things under his breath and then i took him up stairs. Twilight and Celestia followed... who does that? I knew they were but i didn't mind i was only putting Spike to bed after-all. I was just tucking Spike into bed when he let out another yawn. "I don't know if i can sleep..." Spike said snuggling into his pillow. I just chuckled. "My mother use to sing me a lullaby to help me sleep. If you think that will help i can sing it for you." I suggested. He nodded and with a smile i started to sing the lullaby. Close your eyes, and rest, Until the day comes, and the stars are gone, I will be by your side, through the entire night, To keep away all the creatures that cause fright, Even when the sun is gone, the night isn't that bad, When you're not alone, Because even through the hardest days, I will stay by your side, helping all the time, Even if you're far away, I will find you, Through the light of the day, or when the stars are awake, Sometimes, Even your dreams fly away, But No matter how far you go, no matter were you are, I will be by your side, through the lightest of days, and through the darkest nights.. as i sung the Lullaby Spike closed his eyes and fell asleep. It wasn't long until i heard him slightly snoring. I giggled a little bit. Twilight and Celestia went down the stairs when i stepped out of Spikes' and Twilights' room and trotted down stairs. "Sorry for the wait ponies. But Spike kept on insisting he couldn't sleep... Took time but i got there." I told them with a smile. Celestia just smiled. "Of course. he is only a baby dragon It's only normal for him to be so energetic." Celestia replied. "Yes... But anyways i'm sure you have some things to do at the castle before you lower the sun princess... I know i've got some things to do." I told the princess. "Yes... actually... I was hoping you could come to my castle for some days... so we could got to know each other better." Celestia suggested. To me i knew it meant SOME sort of trouble. but then again it was the princess and i really didn't want to seem rude. So i just replied: "Of course i would love to come..." Though i looked happy for the offer she had given me...  Inside i was still hesitating. I knew that when the princess called you it was mainly trouble for you. But i smiled giving her the feeling that i was actually happy to come. "Lovely. We could go now so you should get your bags ready." She told me. I  went to get my things. It wasn't loads of things if i'm honest. It was just my sattlebags. Hairclips and my blanket. Just like you lot know i'm an alicorn. It explains the reasons why i was able to do the spell that Twilight was assigned to do... and the blankets. I don't want other ponies to know that i'm a rare... no wait... extrimely rare type of pony. I liked being treated like normal. Nothing like royalty or somepony who's more important than others. While it would be nice i'm not like that. I don't like being the center of attention. Never was and i will NEVER be one of them. I'm just a normal pony who wants a normal life and i want to be treated normally. Not long after some packing and thinking i was ready and trotted down the stairs . Celestia and Twilight were  chatting while they were waiting for me. The charriot came a few seconds later... Literally. Before i went i went up to Twilight. "Oh Twilight... I've got a book that i know little Spike is just going to LOVE. So i want him to keep it... here you go." I said to her giving her the book. "I'm sure he'll love it. Thank you Harmony." Twilight thanked me and i entered the charriot and sat next to the princess. It wan't an extrimly long journey but it wasn't a short one either. We both had  pleasent chat... a small one but it was a nice one. Soon we were at the castle. I wasn't surprised when i saw it. I lived in one. But i didn't want her to know... Though i did try to seem surprised... Never was much of an actor. She showed me to my room and left me to get settled. My room was just as big as the one at home. But in my home it was colourful... really colourful. Once i was done i came out of my room. The sun was just setting and all the guards knew i was staying there... but what could i do? I just sit in my room... watching the sun set. I smile. To me it's a beautiful sight... couldn't see a sight any sweeter and calmer. The moon came up... the moon. It's the best part of the day... when the sun sets. The moon and the stars come out... the twinkling stars... I could seriously stay up all night. I just kept on staring at the stars... I couldn't help it... they were beautful. Each one of the stars were twinkling with their own might and strength... But i could see them all... from the tiny ones to the big ones. I heard some pony behind me so i turned around and found the princess of the night. I bowed my head. "Good night princess..." I said as i bowed. "Thou not need to bow... tell me... what is thy name?" She asked me. I looked at her and smiled. "My name? On my name is Harmony Princess Luna. Your sister invited me to the castle for a few days..." I replied. She smiled a me. "Oh... my Sister... How come thou are not asleep?" She asked me. "Umm... I just like the night more than the day... Oh and princess i'm sorry for asking but can you please try not to speak like that? I barely understand." I asked her. The princess giggled at me before giving me  surprised look. "Oh... sorry... i'm still not use to this type of language... But... how come you don't like the day like most of the other ponies do?" She asked me. "I just... It's a lot calmer... and i love the stars and the moon. While i like the day yes i love the sunshine... but... I'm not a very day like pony... The day is busy while the night... i could just read a book while you know no pony will come to disturb you." I replied to her. She smiled at me. "Yes... I love the day me sister brings forward but... i love the night even more." She told me sitting next to me. "Yes... I just wish i could be more... me in these types of time..." I told her looking out of the window once more. "What do you mean by that Harmony?" She asked me. I smiled. "I'll tell you but you must promise me that you wont tell any pony... i mean any pony." I warned her. She promised me she wouldn't tell anypony. I levatated my sattlebags to both of us and took out six gems and layed them out on the bed. "What are these they look like..." She said trying to remember what looked so similar between them and some things she saw before. "The elements of harmony... but it' not them... because these aren't in necklaces or crowns." I told her. "Yes... but what are they?" She asked me. "These are my own creations... The harmony stones. Couldn't think of other names and they do mostly what the elements do... but they aren't the elements. They each have different names." I explained. "What are the names of them? Six stones means six names." She told me and asked me. I held up the gems with my magic. "This green one means nature, violet one means time, Yellow means day, blue means night, Red means order and Pink means balance." I explained. "What do they do... as in each of them on their own." She asked... wow this one is curious. "Nature brings back nature lost, Time brings us to the right time and where and it's also great for time traveling, The day puts it back to the day if needed, the night brings back the night if needed, Order brings back well... order to the place and Balance,balances out good and evil." I explained. "You made them?" Shasked me bewildered. "No... i give them power... My alicorn ansestors pased them down to me... i've got forever to use them... literally..." I muttered the last but under my breath... but Luna heard. "What do you mean... literally?" She ased me. "I prefrer not to say why... i hope you don't mind princess." I told her not wanting ponies to know i'm not a unicorn... but a winged one. But she just sighed and smiled. "Of course... you should get some rest... i want to see you at breakfast." She told me. I smiled as i put away the Harmony stones. "I will Princess Luna... Good night." I told her. She nodded. "Good night." She replied to me and walked out. I was left on my own... again. But soon i fell asleep... IN THE MORNING... It was early in the morining when i woke up. I got up and re-freshed myself and putting a new blanket. I seriously don't want anypony to know my cutiemark. I trotted up to the hall way when i remembered... i have NO idea as to where what room is. I might need to ask a pony... seriously? This is why i hate really huge new places... then again it took me like... a year before i knew every piece of my home. I was't looking where i was going and *THUD*. I bumped into a pony. "Oh excuse me... i didn't see you." Said a voice. She must have been a girl because well... they had a girlish voice. It was a girl... "No no... it's alright i wasn't looking where i was going..." I said standing up. She was a mare... Pink... with strips of pink purple and yellow in her hair with curls at the botton hagging loosly.  I giggled and helped her up. "I really have to stop day dreaming..." She said with a giggle. "I think that's both of us..." I agreed with another giggle. "Hey i'm princess Cadence... who are you? I don't think i've seen you here in the castle." She introduced. "I'm Harmony... It's lovely to meet you Princess Cadence... say... do you know where the dinner hall is? i don't think Princess Celestia showed me around that well." I asked with a slight giggle. "Yes. I was on my way there now. Would you like to join me?" She asked. "Oh yes. That would be lovely." So we both went on our way. We had a nice chat on our way. Got to know each other.Friends and family... blah blah. But the surprise came when she asked me something. "So... are you in a relationship yet?" She asked me. "Umm... No... not really. I'm too busy back at home with my mother... you know... since she's blind i have to help her... but she knows her way round so i went and did a little bit of exploring." I replied "Oh yes... Things do tend to be in a way... I should know." She told me with a giggle. "Yes... the thing is... my mother doesn't trust boys as much as she does with girls." "Really? How come?" She asked me. I sighed. "My father... he was pretty abusive with her... Hitting and doing more things with her... My father expected a boy when my mother said she was having a foal... but no... i came along. Things just got even more bad then. He hated me... so much that he hit me too... My mother stood him up and left... it's what she told me... Never knew him if i'm honest. But he probably did hit me because i grew up with some brewses... but they're gone now." i explained. "I feel so sorry for you and your mother... Who would do that? I know my husband would never hit me... we haven't even argued anymore than like... three or four times. What stallion would do that?" She asked me shocked at what i told her. "I know... but i'm happy with only me and her... when time comes... I'll fall in love. But for now... i'm happy with just me and my mother. both of us... at home. Walking around... Enjoying the sunshine and the stars... It's perfect." I said with a sigh. She smiled at me. "It does sound lovely... But aren't you scared that will happen to you too?" She asked me. "No... i'm stronger than i look... Never dated because of that too. plus i'm not going to let  a stallion tell me what to do and threaten me." I said firmly. "Yes... Oh were're here." She said opening the doors. Inside was Princess Celestia. Princess Luna and a white unicorn colt with dull yellow hair sitting waiting. "There they are." Said Celestia with a smile. We both giggled. "Sorry to keep you three waiting." I said with a giggle. "We all just got here anyways so..." Luna said with a smile.  Both me and Cadence sat down. I sat right next to her while she sat next to the white unicorn colt. I just stared into space for two seconds. It wasn't noisy... until Princess Celestia broke the silence. "So... Did you sleep well Harmony?" She asked me. "Your name is Harmony... weird name if you ask me..." The unicorn commented. "Blueblood." Cadence warned. "Just saying..." This so caled 'Blueblood' said. "I'm going to ignore that... yes Princess I did." I replied to her. "Lovely... So are you enjoying your stay?" She asked. "She should be..." Blueblood commented once again. He recieved a growel from Princess Luna. "Going to ignore that as well... It's lovely as well Princess... Though it was a good thing i bumped into Cadence or i would have been lost." I replied with a  chuckle. Cadence joined in too. "Yes this place is so big... I still tend to get a little lost here and there to so i don't expect you to know every piece of this place for a while." Celestia agreed with a chuckle. "Oh no worries... My home is also pretty big..." I stated. "Probably as big as a cottage..." Smirked Blueblood. "Going to ignore that too..." I muttered under my breath biting my lip. "So... how's your mother? Got any letters lately?" Celestia asked with a smile. "No... But i hope she's alright... I'm always worring." I replied. "Why? miss your mommy?" Blueblood teased. Cadence stared at him angrily along with luna and Celestia. "Sorry... excuse me if you can..." I excused myself running off into the gardens. i was in tears... Why would he say that? How on earth would he be sick enough to say that? In the dinner room... "How could you say that Blueblood?" Raged Cadence. "It's the truth... Don't blame me for it." He said not careing. "It wasn't you who recieved that comment Blueblood." Celestia told him. "She's just going to have to get over it now." He replied. "Her mother went through a lot when she was born... and when she wasn't Blueblood. You can't just comment on that type of things." Cadence raged. "Cadence calm down." Luna calmed. "No. Her father abused her and her mother and the poor woman is blind!" Cadence shouted. "Explains why she was brought up like that then." He stated. "She was brought up better than you ever were." Cadence said excusing herself from the table. Celestia and Luna glared at him for some time before he said... "Fine... i'll go say sorry but i won't like it." He said excusing himself too from the table Once he was gone and out of sight.  Luna said... "I don't think he'll ever respect others Tia..." With H... I was still running in tears. Right now i didn't care WHERE i was going... i just wanted to get away from everypony. I ran past somepony who looked like the captain of the royal guards. But i didn't care. I just kept on running. I edventually endded up in the gardens. I just sat infront of the pond still in tears. I kept on crying to myself when i heard somepony cough behind me. "What is it Blueblood..."I asked trying my best not to yell at him. "I'm... sorr... sorry... for whatever i said back there..." He TRIED to apolagise... i wiped my tears away. "I-it's alright Blueblood... But... It just hurts a lot... My mother is blind and we were both abused by my father... that's why she means the world to me." I explained as another tears flushed itself down my cheek. He trotted and layed down next to me. We were both silence for some time. "I never got to introduce myself you know... My name is Prince Blueblood. Nefew of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna... How about you?" He tried again. I knew the Princesses were watching... But those blue eyes caught me in trance for a little bit. I wasn't falling for him... but it wasn't impossible to get lost in someponys' eyes. "I'm Harmony... My full name is Harmony Harmonic Flower... i like my name. Even though ponies back at school were always teasing me about it... but honestly i never cared... So... Parents?" I replied back to him. He looked down to the ground. "They... They spoiled me so my aunties took me in... But they soon died of age... The two became my real family but... i guess i never really changed... I don't really need to ask you i guess." He told me. Looking down at the ground. "But... are you willing to change?" I asked him. This confused him a little bit. "Could you tell that to me again please?" He asked. I gigged a little bit. "I said... are you willing to change? You're sweet and charming... but you think about yourself more than other ponies. I'm no expert on love but i know most girls are looking for somepony who's kind and not... selfcentered. No offence but i only want the best for ponies... not the worst." I replied to him with a gentil smile. He smiled back in return. "Hmm... Yes... Yes i am willing to change my selfish ways to help other ponies. How on earth am i going to do that though?" He asked looking up at me. " Helping others is a way of starting... and you don't need to think that you're alone on this. I'm here with you and i plan to stay with you no matter how bad you do." I replied to him giving him a smile. "How on earth is is possible that you're not taken yet?" He asked me. I blushed and giggled at him for this. "You tell me that... I've always got compatition for me but i never honestly truly felt like i was the dating type. I don't even wear make-up mind you and yet... boys STILL like me..." I replied. "I guess... But i'm sure the lucky stallion will come one day... Until then we both have to wait and see." He told me with a chuckle. "Yes i guess... But for now i'm happy with you as my best friend... that is... if you accept." I told him with a smile. He smiled back at me. "I'll accept Harmony..." He replied. Both of ud then stayed there for some minuits just enjoying eachothers' company. I honestly didn't care i[/spoiler][spoiler]f the princesses were watching me and Blueblood... Everypony was in their own repectful bedrooms... Well... almost all of us... Me and Blueblood were in my roon talking and laughung and just being really nice friends. Ponies often walked by and thought that they were dreaming... No... no they weren't. Honestly i didn't really care. Soon it was time for him to sleep... me too... We each said our goodbyes and he went to his bedroom. I was only alone for a little while though... just until sunset and the moon being risen. But i loved the peace. I never really was the social type... I'm more of a... anti-social type. But i'm social too... By now you must be just as confused as most ponies tend to be when i explain this to them... Don't worry i don't get me myself too... hehe... i'm complex. Where was i again? Oh yes... I was only alone for sunset. Right after that Cadence came in... "Hello Cadence... How was your day?" I asked with a smile giving her a hug. "Exausting... Just came by one last time because i've got to go to the Crystal Empire tomorrow morning... How about you my good friend?" She replied happily returning the hug i gave her. "Spent the day with Blueblood." I replied with a smile. "Really? Let me guess... Snobbish. Rude -" She tried but i interruped her. "No. None of that. He was sweet and careing. He promised to change and i promised to help him. He just... needed a push to help him out." I told her. She smiled and giggled. "I know why he spent so much time with you now... I think he's got a crush on you..." Cadence teased. "Maybe... or maybe it's the other way round... One thing... what does the crystal empire look like?" i asked her. "It's crystall- wait... you've never been to the crystal empire? Seriously?" She exclaimed. "Never been... But the city of love does sound nice." I said with a sigh. "Why? Thinking of going there with Blueblood?" She asked me... grinning. "Oh no. We are just friends and i think we are going to keep it that way... But..." I trailed off... It's what got Cadence intrested. "But???..." She continued. "Don't tell him but i might... MIGHT have a crush on him." I addmitted. "Yes, yes, YES!!!! I'm going to finally have a new cousin." She exclaimed. "whoa... Hold on there Cadence. We met like... a week ago... I don't think he feels the same about me." I told her. I forgot to tell you. It had been a week at the castle. I mostly stayed with Blueblood.... But i helped around the castle when he wasn't avalible... From the last week i've been able to develope a crush for him... DON'T TELL A SOLE!!! But yes... i have a crush on him... The good thing though is that NONE of them have found out my cutiemark. I don't want to be known everywhere just because of my wings and cutiemark... I seriously didn't wan't ponies to know. "a week is long enough. Come on. You two should give it a try." Cadence told me. "If he asked me then... I'd give it a try." i told her. She smiled. " I won't pressure... i've got to go now... Night Harmony." She told me. "Night Cadence. Tell Shining armour i said Goodnight." I replied. She smiled and nodded. I siged and stared at the stars and i soon... fell asleep... The next morning... I woke up in my room.  I got up and did my morning things... Brush my teeth... e.c.t. Soon i was on my way to the dinner hall... as normal. I got there and found the family there... I still see them as family even though none of us are related. but we are all family none the less. I took my seat by Blueblood like i normally did... Not surprising to them... or me. "Morning Harmony... Sleep well?" Yawned Blueblood. "Morning to you too. Yes i slept well... though i can't help but feel like something..." I replied trailing off. "Something???" Pressured Celestia. "I don't know Princess... Something's wrong. I know it is... but what?" I told them. Soon we all shrugged it off just thinkning it wasn't anything... or was it? as we ate i kept taking small glances as Blueblood and he did the same with me. It was silence... until Luna broke it. "Sorry but... as i missing something here?" She asked me. "Missing what Princess?" I asked knowing what she was talking about... unfortunatley. "Don't tell me..." Celestia said with a sneaky grin. "Tell what aunty?" asked Blueblood not knowing what was going on. I thought it was cute that he didn't know but i didn't show it. I suddenly felt something truley wasn't right. "Excuse me. I have to go." I excused myself. "Where are you going?" Blueblood asked. I thought for a second. Should i show him? Should i trust him? Is it the right option? I kept thinking until... "You can come too..." I told him. He smiled and excused himself too. We both went to my room-DON'T THINK 'BOUT IT.  We ran through the corridors and endded up in my room panting due to all the running. "I .so. beat. you. Harmony..." He said between pants. "We'll see later... come on." I told him. We both went inside and i locket the door. He got confused. "How come you're locking the door?" He asked. "Don't worry... but promise me you won't tell a SOLE." I asked him. "I promise." He nodded. I sighed knowing i could really trust him... i knew i could. I went to my sattlebags and collected my harmony stones and lay them one by one on my bed. I directed him to my side which he came. I cast a spell starting up the gems. He looked carefully at what i was doing. as the spell progressed an image formed. It kept on going until the spell was compleated. I relaxed a little when it was done. We both looked at the image that looked before us. "I never get tired of doing this..." I muttered under my breath sarcastically. "What on earth..." He said looking at it. It showed a picture of the crystal empire. It was beautiful... Shiney and... very ... well... crystally. It took some time to break the silence but in the end i did. "Okay... let's get to work... first thing's first... checking." I edventually said with a smile. With my hooves i flicked back and forth to see the compleat view of the empire... i could see these all day... but i had work to do... which was protecting the empire from a dark force. Blueblood just kept watching to see what i was doing. "How on earth do you do this? How come you never told us this?... Why were you hiding?..." He asked me with sorrow. I sighed and pulled up my blancket just enough to hide my wings and show to let him see my cutiemark. "That's a nice cutiemark... colors too." He complemented as i blushed a little. I giggled but then placed on my blancket again. "I guess... it lets me see this type of things... You should go to let me do this... or ponies with think other things." I told him giggling. He blushed and with a giggle he went out. I sighed... he wa so cute... sweet... careing... and soo... STOP RIGHT THERE, " You've got work to do Harmony... Stop thinking at how cute Blueblood is.... But i love his eyes... those eyes... i could stare at them all my li- Okay to work." I shook these cute thoughts out of my head and got state back to work. I kept on Checking the empire until spotted a shadow that wasn't meant to be there. I wondered if it was a good idea to go there right now... It would be good... considering i was the only one who knew aboutt the threat... it would be good if i went with blueblood... he'd look so cute when the sun hits him... SERIOUSLY. i should stop thinking about him... why on earth is crushing so hard? I sighed and checked to see if there was anything else happening... my life is so complex... With the otheres in the privet room... No ones POV... "I swear that i've never seen anypony do things like that." Blueblood said. They had been talking about Harmony since he had walked out of her room. "How on earth could she do that? She has those gems and she does that... Strange..." Luna said. She never told anypony about those gems but now others knew so she could talk about it with them. "We need to see her cutiemark... but we don't know which one it is..." Celestia said. "I know it... she told me but i never knew what it meant..." He said. The two mares giggled a little. "uh huh... I have a book with the cutiemark pictures and meanings. Let's check in there." Celestia suggested. Blueblood and Luna nodded as Celestia took out a book called 'Normal cutiemarks.'. They all searched. The further you went into the book the more powerful the cutiemark. They kept on fliking into the book. They hadn't found the cutiemark Blueblood had seen. "Not found it... you don't think...?" Luna suggested. "Let us try the more complex cutiemarks." Celestia suggested. They kept on flicking through the pages... "Nope. Nope. Nop- hey... that's Twilight's cutiemark." Blueblood said. They were at the end of their second book. They giggled at the fact that Twilight had her cutiemark considered an important one. They had found Bluebloods but he only looked at it for two seconds before they had moved on. "I don't know... we only have one more..." Celestia said. They each hesitated before she got a book called...' The legendery cutiemarks... ' It was a book with VERY powerful cutiemarks. They started to flick through... They'd reached the end finding three pages left. One with Lunas cutiemark. One with Celestias'.... and the one Blueblood had seen on Harmony. The very last one. "It's this one..." He said not believing his eyes. "It..." Luna started "Can't..." Celestia continued. "Be..." Blueblood finished. Harmony was a ledendery pony... THE pony. Right there was Harmonys' cutiemark. Under the picture was an explaination of what it meant and the families that owned this beautiful power. Luna began to read what it said. " The harmonic Cutiemark is powerful. This mark alows it's owner to spread harmony through-out the place it's in. While this is only the basic cutiemark it allows its' user to be able to have unbelieveable power enough to raise and set the sun and moon.It is a beautiful and helpful power. Originally coming from the harmonic alicorns. The war that had arrupted from the droconici had eliminated them all... most of them. Two were able to escape. One was from the Harmonic family [a stallion] and the other [a mare] who was from Music family which was a family made for music fell in love. Both were very careing and kind ponies and very talented in magic with the Music survivor having a beautiful voice and the harmonic stallion they both re-started a race for the harmonic family with the mare happily giving up her family bonds to be with her lover. Though they found that once in every 300 births the child would be a unicorn and not an alicorn. This user is also able to detect evil..." Luna said trailing off at the end. "Who knew?" Blueblood said thinkning this was all a dream. " Who knew my nephew had a crush on a powerful pony." Smirked Luna "How in the stars name did you know that?" He exclaimed bwildered that Luna knew his... ahem 'little' secret. "OOOOOOOOHHHH. are we going to have a new neice now Blueblood?" Teased Celestia. "Please let us get back to the main topic..." Sighed Blueblood... The girls giggled. Harmony's POV [my pov... EEEEEEEEK] I was trotting up the corridor hoping to be able to get to the crystal empire. I really was worried. The worry soon soothed when i saw Blueblood trotting down the corridor too. He just looked super cu- okay harmony stop thinking about how cute he is. He trotted up to me with a smile. "Hello Harmony. Where are you going?" he asked. He was so cute... and i was so suspisus... why? Because i felt like he was up to something... I just shrugged it off thinking it was just me. "I was actually thinking of going to the crystal empire... To visit Shining and Cadence." I replied to him... TRYING not to get lost in his eyes. "Really? Oh think i can come along?" He asked me. I smiled and nodded. "Sure. I could use the company." I told him. "Exellent. I will go and inform my aunts and then we'll set off." She chirped happily to me as he then went off. I let out a small blush when he wasn't looking. He looked SOOOOO CUTE when he was happy.Later we met at the station and paid for out tickets. Since Blueblood was royalty we both got our own place... just the two of us... he looked so cute... "So... Ever been to the empire?" I asked him with a smile. I was sitting right beside him to give him company... and because i loved it when we were both together. "Yes... Last year at hearths warming. Lovely snow if i must say." He replied to me with a smile. "I love the snow... But i've never been to the empire. Looking farwards to coming." I chuckled with a smile letting out a yawn. "It's going to be a long ride... You might as well take a short nap while you're at it." He told me i giggled. "Yes... but i'm not tired... i am but just like my mother says i'm just too stubborn to know what's happening with me and to accept it or not." I told him. he gave me a giggle "I could see that." He told me. I playfully nudged him in the arm. "Yes... Though i wonder what my crush thinks of me..."  I told him. He looked at me. "You've got a crush on somepony? who is he?" He asked me. "You'll be surprised at who it is..." I mummbled under my breath. "Come on Harmony. Tell me... Please?" He asked me using the puppy eyes. He KNOWS i can't say no to puppy dog eyes. I bite my lip only to tell him. "It's..." I said before he interupted. "I love you." He said all of a sudden. wait what????? "I... Love you t-too" I stuttered. His ears perked up at this. "Really? So i'm..." "My crush..."I finished for him. "So... should we both be..." He asked trailing off. "If you want... wow this is awkward..."I said laughing a little(Nice statment...). I stared into his eyes... Those careing cute blue eyes. We both didn't notice how close we were. Soon we were kissing without knowing... i didn't pull when we did... nore did he. We both broke it gasping for air a little. "wow..." He said looking at me. "I know..." I gasped. "So are we?" He asked. "I guess we are..." I replied with a nod. "Do you want to be?" He asked. "I do..." I replied. We both smiled. The conductor told us that we arrived at the empire... seriously? I now have a coltfriend and that guy comes into the place? it ruined the moment... We stepped out of the train and started to trot to the castle. Getting in was easy because the guards were expecting us there due to the orders of the princess. It was beautiful... the empire... crystally and happy. Ponies very friendly and none were fighting. again i felt harmony and happiness... But as soon as we entered the empire i felt like SOMETHING was following us... a shadow probably... maybe the one that was next to Cadence? I shook the thought out of my head as we walked over to the throne room. We saw Cadence and bowed after she gave a sigh. "You two know you don't need to bow... right?" She asked us. We both giggled. "We know... we're just teasing Cadence." I told her giving her a hug. "I know. But really it gets sooooo annoying." She wined. "Tell me about it cousin." agreed Blueblood. "Yes... Is there something different about you two? Or is it just me?" She asked knowing the answer. "I know you know Cadence... No point in pretending you don't know."I told her. She rolled her eyes. "Fine... let me guess... train ride?" She asked. I giggled and nodded. She giggled too. "Yes... Can we change subject now girls?..." asked Blueblood rolling his eyes. "Why not. I believe this is your first time at the empire... right Harmony?" asked Cadence with a smile. "You could say that Cadence..." I replied to her with a giggle. "Well then... Why don't you both go look around? I'm sure ponies wouldn't mind helping you around if you get lost." Cadence suggested. "I guess we should... But i bet you i could find my way round before you Harmony." Blueblood stated before he let out a grin. "Don't mis-judge me Blueblood. For all you know i might not be what you think i am..." I warned him. He rolled his eyes. Shining walked in just in that moment. "Hi Shining." I said. He smiled warmly. "Hello Harmony. Hello Blueblood.... What are you two doing here?" He asked. "We're just visiting... Harmony wanted to visit so i came along." Blueblood Replied for me. I nodded. "Yes... Okay what are you lot hiding? I know there's something here so spit it out." He demanded. "Uhh..." Cadence started. "Me and Blueblood are..." I started. "Dating." He finished. I smiled at him and stepped closer to him. "Really??? Congratulations." He told us. "Thanks. Couldn't ask for anypony else..." Blueblood thanked nuzzling me. "awww. That's soooooo CUTE." Exclaimed Cadence. "Okay. Before all of that i sent a letter telling that you two will be staying here for two days... So let's get you two to your rooms." Shining stated giggling when he saw me and Blueblood. So me and Blueblood followed Shining armour to our rooms to get unpacked. We did so but we helped eachother. We did mine first considering i had brought... almost any items and Blueblood was next considering he was still Blueblood and he brought what felt like millions of things. By now we were both in the castle gardens just wondering around idly. It was peaceful...calm... and happy. We were now sitting on the bench. I lay my head on his shoulders and stay like that for some moments before he starts talking. "Harmony?" He asked. "Yes Blueblood?" I replied to him picking my head up from his shoulders. "Would you ever hide something from me?" He asked me this so unexpectingly that i hd no clue what to say. I took a few moments to stare into his blue eyes and then sighed. "It depends what type of thing i hide. If i seriously MUST hide it then yes... but if i don't need to hide it then i would never... not from you." I replied. He then sighed. "are you sure?" He asked me looking down to the ground. "I'm as sure as candy in a candy bar." I replied to him. When i said this we both started to giggle. "Yeah i guess... What family do you come from?" He asked me. I froze... should i tell him? Should i trust him with something THIS big? If i did tell him... what would be his reaction? I bit my lip but i just wish right now that he didn't ask me that. "Let's just say that... my family is pretty... Harmonic."I responded with a giggle "Would think so... would you care to see my family? Then i can see yours." He told me with a smile. What harm would it do to show him my family... though we have to go to my own home to see them... "I would love for that to happen... but when you meet my family try not to spread the secrets it holds..."I told him. We both giggled and went inside. We were now at the dinner table with Cadence and Shining armour. We were talking about what happened through-out the day. Right about now i was listening to how cadences' day went... From the sound if it... it was busy. "Once that was FINLY finished i came here." She ended. "Whoa... That's one busy day.... I've got bust days but NONE as as busy and yours was today." I exclaimed. "I have to do it... it's part of my job." She told me. "I know... trust me i know what it's like to have a busy day... but non of them are as busy as yours." I exclaimed. "Yes... But we have to do these things." Shining stated. "We both know that."Blueblood said "Yes..." I said. Ever since i even stepped into this palace i've felt like i've been followed by somepony... but who? The other ponies didn't notice me for some time. When they saw i was in deep thought Blueblood was the one who asked me if i was alright. "Dear are you alright?"He asked me. Snapping me out of deep thought. "Huh? Oh umm... Yes i am... sorry... I was just thinking..." I told him. Giving him a smile "Thinking? Thinking about what?" Cadence asked me. "Umm... I just... feel like somepony has been following us..."I replied to them. "Who do you think would be following you?" Blueblood asked. "Or it's my mother... Or...  It's somepony i don't know." I replied. "Mother? I thought you said that she couldn't see." Stated Shining. "Don't underestimate my family... We are VERY surprising." I warned him with a smirk. "Phhhfffftttt... Like your family is full of surprises. Mine is defenatly more surprsing." Shining stated. "You sure about that?" I told im with a smirk. "Try me..." He 'threatned'. I just rolled my eyes. "Mom you can  come out now..." I called out. Just then my mother came out. She looked similar to me. Her coat was a perly white. She had sky bue eyes and a soft baby pink mane with a strip of a slightly darker baby pink. Her cutiemark was a pink heart with two blue swords crossing behind it. Her tail was the same style as mine mut her main was down with slight curls hanging loosly. "You called?" She asked. Shinings' daw dropped to the floor... I only smirked. "See Shining? NEVER unestimate my family... Oh Cadence can my mother join dinner?" I asked. "Sure..." She replied dumbfounded that my mother dropped out of the sky. I giggled at Bluebloods reaction. He froze when he saw my mother. I was still giggling at him when he... sort of unfroze. "Ooookkkkaaayyy... My step cousins marefriends mother just dropped out of nowhere... this is getting akward..." Shining stated. "Excuse me for that. By the way my name is Sweetsword by the way. You must be Prince Shining armour." My mother introduced. Before i forget... my mother's an alicorn... [don't freak out.] "Soo... You're a unicorn..." He started. "No Shining my mother's an alicorn." I told him. "a fourth?" Cadence said walking into the room from talking to the chefs. "No. Sixth." She stated. "Huh?" Blueblood said surprised. "They don't need to know mother." I mummbled under my breath. "Oh you. She's alwas worried as to what would happen to our family if ponies started to know more about us. Honestly i'm proud of our family history." My mother stated. "Really? I'd like to know my marefriends family. She already knows mine."Blueblood stated. 'Great...Just great...' i thought in my head rolling m eyes. just then an idea popped up in my head. "Why DON'T you meet them then. It would be nice for you all to see. Why don't we invite Celestia and Luna themselves?" I recgomened. "That would be lovely. I think we have another trip to go on." Exclaimed Cadence in a happy tone. We agrred and went to get our things... well... THEY went to get their things. I stayed to go and help Blueblood...[Of course i would...]. We did what we normally did.Talk...Talk...and Talk. We did that alonng with laughing and giggling... nothing else but that. "You should have seen your face when she just 'dropped by'. I said between laughes. "But she LITERLLY dropped by." He defended rolling his eyes. "Yes i know... but really it was so funny... and adorable." I 'eeeked' in. We both set into a fit of giggles after that. "We're all done. Let's go before the others think that we're up to something else." He told me. I went a very faint pink and with a giggle we set off. We arrived at the same time Celestia and Luna had. While i bowed to the two sisters right after that we all gave eachother a huge hug. One big one mainly to Luna because we are both a-like in a way. "How was yesterday you two?" Luna asked once we had de-parted fom our hugs. "It was lovely. I think i'm going to visit more often... and possibly bring Twilight with me... and drag Blueblood with me to." I replied with a giggle. He rolled his eyes at me and smiled. "Let's go then... there are ponies we SERIOUSLY don't want to run into while we're on our way... Plus your grandfather is waiting for you Harmony." My mother stated. Luna giggled a little while i only rolled my eyes. So we set off... but ended up going through the everfree forest. Cadence was scared and was sticking closley to Shining armour. Celestia stood with Luna who DID NOT like anything there. Blueblood stood with me in front with me and my mother who didn't seem to mind her surroundings. "a-a-are w-we t-there yet?" Stuttered Cadence. "We're almost there Cadence." I replied to her. We went through some bushes and went to two paths that crossed into a 'x' and we stopped there. There was a sign saying 'left is safe right is death'. My mother took right so we all followed. Soon we were able to see the sunshine through the trees. The once eveil-like trees were now going from that to a happy lush green. The animals were now sweet and the birds were now sining as we all passed. We went through some bushes and soon a Castle bigger than Canterlot castle came into view. It was a pure white going gold to the top. balconies were everywhere and flowers were too. Everything looked so...happy. This... is my home. "Here we are. Now Harmony go on inside and the other two will be there waiting." My mother told me in a singsong voice. I rolled my eyes and took lead of the group. They were amazed. "This is my home ponies." I told them happily knowing i was home. "Wow..." Was all Luna managed to say. I giggled at the comment and carried on. Soon we came inside the castle. It. Was. HUGE. Going inside you could already see a fountain and a whole load of doors. It was my home... i loved it. "Welcome to my home..." I said with a sigh and a happy smile. "You... Live here?" asked Blueblood amazed with what he was seeing. "More or less yes." I replied. Just then an alicorn appered. His coat was also a white one...Pure white. His mane was flowing with a dark blue color and his eyes were a blue too. His cutiemark was some animals in the medows. "Harmony." He simply said with a welcoming smile. "Grandfather." I said running to him a huge hug. My grandfather was a sweet alicorn. He loved animals and also gave peace to them. He never EVER did anything he would regret. His wife [my grandmother] had died on the way to some town but she had to go through the everfree... It's the only way we can get out of our own land. in our land if you went the opposit of the everfree you would only find land...land... and more land. Nothing else. My grandmother was attacked by something and it killed her. She was lovely. She had a baby pink coat with a skyblue flowing mane and tail Like Celestias' only with Different shades of blue and her cutiemark was the ocean with a dolfin happily swimming. She was a careing mare and never let her family down. It was what i was told. My mother said that she died a day before i was born. Me and my grandfather departed from our hug and i started to talk. "These are my friends and coltfriend." I introduced. "Hello I am Medow."He told them. "Hello Medow. It's lovely to meet you. I am Princess Celestia. Here is my younger sister Luna. My neice Cadence and her husbind Shining armour and this is my nefew Blueblood." She introduced. They each gave a wave and said Hello. He smiled and nodded. "Your unkle is training outside... He's still not over the fact that you mother had beat him some time ago." My grandfather said. I giggled. "You have an unke?" Blueblood asked. "Yes... He's a little older than Celestia if i do say." I replied to him with a giggle. "Older than Celestia? I think this is going to be interesting." Stated Luna with a giggle. "Yes. I'm just as old as Twilight but i tend to grow faster than her." I told her. With that done we set of to the backyard. When we got there they found out it was split into three. [yes... three... a backyard... split into three... don't judge.] The first part was full of animals... Yep it's my grandfather most... favorite place to be. The next bit was smaller than the other parts of the garden. It had a small pond with fsh a bench and path with colorful flowers... and a random tree. Basically it looked like a VERY small park. The last bit was the biggest. It was acctually a training course. It mainly was for the 'fighters' of my family. While my family was granted the gift of spreading harmony across... everywhere we had a natural gift in fighting. My unkle was there. My mother had some age but for her it was nothing. I was about Twilights' age considering... my father. My unkle was actually my mothers' twin. Though he looked almost nothing like her. He had a white coat [seriously my family had a long line of white coats' or what?] and his main and tail were an electric blue. His eyes were strangly a soft green. His cutiemark was a little like my mothers but he didn't have a heart on. In fact his cutiemark was a yellow sheld with the same blue swords crossing infront of t. "Hi unkle." I shouted so he could hear me. He stopped his training and looked at us. "Hey Harmony... How's your ahem 'little' trip?" He asked me. "It was lovely... Let me guess... got beat by mom again?" I replied giving him a hug. "How on earth did she do that move? I must be the ONLY stallion on the planet who's lost to a girl... my SISTER by the fact." He exclaimed. "You'll get there... 'Till then you just have to... practice." I told him. "I guess... but i'm probably the worst fighter in history." He said. "Not really... you're better at fighting than the royal guards in caterlot. I bed you would've beat them in less than a minuit." I told him to help him chear up. "Hey. The guards are the best." Exclaimed Shining. "Haha sorry shining... But it's true." I addmited. "Who are they Harmony?" He asked. "Oh sorry must hae forgotten. Unkle this is Princesses Celestia and Luna. Cadence and Shining armour and my colt friend Blueblood." I introduced. "Hello. My name is Summersword." He told them. I swear Celestia was starting to crush on him because she was just staring at him with a smile that said 'I think i'm crushing on you now... help me Luna...' "Well... i think this is getting akward..." I stated. "I know... Hey Harmony? Do you know how to pass the last bit of this course? I still hae no idea how." He addmited. "Sure. I'm alread at the next leval acctually." I replied. "Man... I'm getting behind... again." He stated. "I'll show you." I told him. I smiled and walked over to that course. I took a deep breath as he haded over two swords. I took a moment to just calm myself. I nodded once i was ready. He presses a button activating the course. It then started moving in different directions. I looked at it then ran towards it. I jumped and tried to escape the traps. It wasn't easy. They were just plain random traps. The course was mainly foucuse on strength. Mind and skill. You had to be fast to pass it. Picking up my swords with my magic i started to slash and cut through everything in my way. From ropes to vines to snakes... of course they were rubber...[duh.] I had to keep running and ignore the pain i felt in my hip. It was only a little one though... I ran to my next bit... It was that tiny bit my unkle could never do. He always struggled with it... can't blame him honestly... took me ages to get there. as i sped through the course i saw a way to get passed the tricky part. I had to get passed the 'evil ponies' to get to the end of the course. They were shadow ponies. Evil and perfect to practice on. The dissepired once you hit them with the sword or something that was considered a weapon. I made it through the first... But the last one was the hardest. It could work out all of your moves and it could read your mind to know your moves. So i just did what i could do... not think. It was hard because i heard some of the ponies behind me whisper. "That is one heck of a fighter." Whispered Shining To my unkle. "I know... Runs in the family." My unkle whispered back. "What on earth is she doing?" asked Shining armour wondering what i was doing. "She can't think..." He whispered under his breath. "How come?" He asked. "The shadow... He can read your mind... and he can read your moves. It's why it's so hard to complete it." He replied "awesome..." Said Shining armour. I closed my eyes and tried to stop thinking about my moves. Soon i just did my moves without thinking. The shadow was confused. He couldn't read my mind... awesome. Soon the... shadow was defeted and with a loud screech he went 'poof'... no more shadow.all that was left was the mingling silence from what ponies had just seen. I then trotted back to the other whos' jaws were nailed to the ground. "Nailed it." I said returning the swords my unkle gave me. "Of course you did... You are my daughter." Said the voise of my mother. We all turned around and saw her "Wouldn't want it any other way mother." I told her. "Yes... Oh it's getting late. Your rooms have been prepared and..." She started. "and???" I said. "and... i totally beat your unkle some days ago." She replied with a smirk. "Sure spread the news why don't ya sis." My unkle said rolling his eyes. "I for one in my defence... Was not beat by my own sibling." She defended with a smile. "Here we go again..." I said rolling my eyes as Blueblood Trotted to my side. "It annoying that you're always getting to me. I started training first but you always cross the line first. I don't get it." My unkle exclaimed. "It's becase i was born to fight." My mother said with a smirk. "Sure you were... and so was i." He exclaimed. "Right... anyhow while we let my brother get annoyed by the fact that i'm better than him let's get you all to your rooms... The two married ones share." She stated. My unkle took a deep breath to calm himself down and with a push of his wings he took off. He left celestia to gaze off where he went. When Luna giggled she snapped out of trance. "Okay... I'll take them. You've got more things to do and i've got to catch up with unkle..." I told her. We both giggled and we went our ways... more like she went to bed and i went to get the guests to their rooms. The first i had to get rid of was Shining armour and Cadence. When they were gone and had settled down i took Luna to hers. We had arranged their rooms to their talents. Like for Luna we did her room to make it look like an exact copy of the night sky. She was second to drop off then it was Blueblood who gave me a kiss before he went. Last one was Celestia... perfect. We were walking down the hall and we were having a pleasent chat... Until i brought up my unkle. "So... What do you think of my family?" I asked her with a giggle. "It's lovely... but how come your unkle is a little older than me?" She asked. "Well...  My family has been this way probably since your parents married... The fact is that We've been finding that the alicorn face is not exactly extinct as you think." I replied. "What do you mean?" He asked me. " The others have been hiding... hiding from what they still think is going on." I replied her. "I still don't follow..." She told me. I giggled. "Look." I whispered. We both entered a room and found a little alicorn sleeping. The child was a colt. He had an orange coat and a stripy black and orange mane that flowed. He was sleeping peacefully. His cutiemark was a tiger claw. "he's an..." Celestia trailed off. "an alicorn by blood... the poor dear. He was took care by Tigers. They died and i found the poor dear crying some time ago. He got lucky like you and Luna did. Great fighters his parents were... but he's grown to understand the animals he's grown up with... and so his destany came. " I explained. "Poor dear... But then doesn't that make you his adoptive mother?" She asked me. "Yes... Blueblood is going to be all crazy about this but i'm sure he'll grow to love this cute little thing." I said with a 'eeek' somewhere in there. We both giggled and carried on. When we reached her room we said our goodbyes and i went to my room. It was simple but with designs in it. I stepped in to bed and the next thing i know... i'm asleep... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 I woke up early in the morning with the sun hitting my face... and my son jumping up and down on my bed. "Mommy wake up. wake up wake up wake u-" He repeted before i threw him on of my pillows and he fell on my bed. "Im awake im awake... holy Celestia what time is it?" I asked with a groan. "It's time to get up. Grandma and the princesses are awake... the others are still sleeping but those three are awake... and me." He exclaimed with a huge smile that i could see once he had gotten up from the pillow i'd thrown at him. "I'm up and awake... go and get your sattle bags we have to check you have everything before we go to Canterlot." I told him while rubbing my eyes as they ajusted to the light. Tiger nodded and trotted away to grab his things while i got up and ready. after some time of waking up i went to the dining room where Princesses Celestia and Luna were with my mother chatting. I rolled my eyes and trotted over to them. "Morning sleepy head... Sleep well?" My mother asked me with a giggle and a hug which a happily returned. "Yes... but my son or should i say 'wake up alarm' woke me up... Kids these days." I said with a giggle. "Like you weren't the same." My mother said with a giggle. "at least i was loads less energetic." I replied to her while rolling my eyes. "She's got a point sis." Said the voice of my unkle who was standing behind us. "Morning SummerSword." Celestia said with a sigh... one which me and Luna giggled at. "How? She was just as bouncy as her son." My mother exclaimed. "Yes... Reading a book bouncy." My unkle replied rolling his eyes and taking a seat next to Celestia who giggled while Luna rolled her eyes. "Right... Here comes my alarm..." I giggled when he cam to us literally bouncing. "I've got my sattlebags. I can't wait to go with you mommy. This is going to be awesome." He exclaimed. I giggled. "Yes But you have to stay close to me.  You might get lost considering it's a huge place." I warned him as he gave me his sattlebags. "I promise i will mom." He told me with a smile. "Perfect. Now lets see... Books... and more books... I've got a real book worm for a son... I know Twilight will grow to like you." I told him with a smile. But he just gave me a confused face. "Who's Twilight mommy?" He asked me I giggled and looked at Celestia who smiled. "She's my number one student and aprentice." She replied for me. I nodded. "There you go. Best in magic too." I added. "awesome... I wonder if she can help me out with this entire areodynamics thing... That might help me." He told me. When he did it made me giggle. "Maybe... no wait probably. I spent the day with Twilight and she knows LOTS of stuff..." i told him. "awesome..." He said with a huge smile. I rolled my eyes and sighed. Just at that moment the others trotted through the door. "Morning you three." Celestia said with a giggle. "Sorry for the wait but most of us went to bed a little later than normal... How have you all been this fine morning?" Blueblood asked trotting up to me and nuzzling me. "No worries everything is fine... My alarm here woke me up earlyer than i wanted to." I said looking at Tiger who had his nose stuck in his book which made both of us giggle a bit. So we each had breakfast and set off... after saying goodbye to the others. We set off into the Everfree forest after that... Oh boy that was something we shouldn't have done... "This place is creepy..." Tiger stated on my back hiding from all the shadows he saw. "Don't you worry. We'll all be right here. Nothing is going to take you." I assured calmly. Suddenly we heard something move... something came out of the bush. Itlooked like a unicorn... But we couldn't see him because of the shadows that were surrounding him. He looked like a colt from his size and posture. But when he opened his eyes... that... was what scared us all nearly half to death. His eyes were an evil red... ones that we feared... but ones who i glared at. I levatated Tiger off my back and put him on Cadence for safty. "Looks like i've got some company... and so will death...." He said with an evil laugh and voice. It was deep... and shadow like. He then attacked me but i blocked it like i knew it was coming. "Run." I shouted. With that they ran... all but Shining armour who stayed back to help me. "Ran into this guy before?" He asked me. "Let's just say... It's been a while..." i replied to him dodging one of the enemies attacks. "Okay fill me in with this guy.... one word to describe him is???" He asked me dodging on oh his attacks. "Unpredictable." I replied to him charging up my horn. Soon a blinding light came from my horn and soon two magic swords appered. I smirked and passed him one. "Do as i say in this or it will never work... on three stab the sword in the ground when i start counting down... got it?" I shouted to him. By now it was loud so we both had to shout. He nodded. as the 'demond' came closer to us he kept on shooting... spells at us... wait a second... where did all the wind come from? Must be from the suspence... oh well. We both stood there with his attacking both of us. We then stood side by side and he started to come close to us... not knowing what would happen next to him. By time he got really close and the attacks got stronger. But i just stood there with my head held up high. Shining armour was shm aking but tried not to show any signs of weakness. as our enemy got closer he got more scared and worried but i only stood there... breathing heavily from the tention that was building up inside of both of us. Shining was starting to get really worried and was starting to show it. "Uhhh.... Harmony?" He shouted to me. I could hear him but i kept my focus on the attacker. He kept on shouting my name until i answered. "On three stick the sword on the ground and run my direction to the castle. I'll meet you there okay?" I shouted to him. "What about you?" He shouted full of consern. "I'll be fine. But you have to go... ready?" I asked him. "Yes ma'am." He souted to me. I nodded... "Three." I started. i kept on counting while he got his sword ready. "Two." I shouted. It's wasn't long 'till zero. "One." I shouted again. By now our enemy was close enough to kill us with one attack... he was about to do so... "ZERO." I shouted. at the same time we both stuck our swords in the ground making them shine a blinding light. It lasted long enough for Shining to run. When the light started to fade i started my attack... there is where one of my problems started.... NOPONY'S POV Everypony was running towards the castle when they saw Shining armour catching up with them from behind. He soon caught up to Cadence who currently had Tiger on her back. "Where's Harmony?" Cadence asked Shining armour. "She had to stay back. Don't worry i know she'll be strong and come back." Shining replied looking back. 'I hope at least...' He though in his head. By the time they reached the castle they saw a blinding light coming from where Harmony was. "MOMMY." Tiger shouted. "Shh.... It's okay Tiger. She'll be fine. Come on let's go inside" Cadence said with a soft voice calming the young colt and wiping away his tears. We ran inside panting. Summersword ran to us scared of what happened. "Tiger? Celestia? What's wrong? Where's Harmony?" He asked. "Walking... Evil guy... attacks... BIG EXPLOSION." Luna exclaimed between pants from all the running. Tiger ran to him crying his eyes out. "I. want. My. Mommy..." He cried hugging his unkle. "She'll come back... i promise that." He reassured. "How do you know? S-she might be gone for all we know." He cried out more. "Somepony talking about me?" Said a voice. They all turned around to see Harmony at the door with a smile and unharmed... or it seemed. Tiger ran from his unkle to his mother and gave her a hug which she happily returned. Blueblood joined giving her a hug. The three looked like a real family...Happy... and united. Once their hug was done with Blueblood started asking her the usual things. "are you okay? are you hurt? Is everything okay?" He asked. Harmony bit her lip a little before showing the back of her left front hoof.... They all gasped. It was turning a dark grey from an attack that hit her there. "Oh no..." Muttered Cadence. "a-are you okay sweetie? Oh sweet Celestia... how in the name of the my auntie Celestia what happened with you?" Said Blueblood not being able to get his eyes off the dark hoof where the dark grey was spreading. "Here... I know how to get rid of that... Come with me." Summersword said. Harmony nodded and followed him with Tiger who was following close behind. Harmonys' POV I was in the medical bit of my home due to the attack. By now my hoof was fully a dark grey color. It didn't hurt but it was scary. My unkle came in with a kneedle he was holding with his magic. "Why does this happen to me?" I asked. "Because you're the best fighter and harmony maker in the world... now hold still It'll just take a second." He replied to me. He gave me the shot and in the blinck of an eye my hoof started to go back to it's perly white. I sighed a sigh of relife. "Oh perfect... Finally... i never liked dark grey as much as perly white." I stated with a giggle. "Okay go one now... you've got a son to atend to." My unkle said with a giggle. I smiled a sly smile. "Sooo.... when are YOU going to give me a cousin?" I told him. "Whenever i get a wife..." He replied rolling his eyes. "Don't be so modest. I've seen the way you look at Celestia... and the way she looks at you..." I said muttering the last but under my breath with a giggle seeing his blush. "We're both friends and i don't think she likes me that much." He told me hiding his blush. "Oh please. I know a crush when i see one." I told him. "You know what happened before i don't want to risk it again." He told me. i rolled my eyes. "She's already a princess..." I muttered under my breath... but he still heard me. "Yes but i prefer NOT to date or to marry a princess... you KNOW how i feel about ruling." He said. "But we DO rule. We rule our OWN little part of the world and our kingdom is double the size of what THEY rule." I told him. "But OUR ponies know us. They also know about the other princesses... and about THEIR OWN." He told me. "We are NOT going to talk about this again. I'm not going to tell them yet... I've never wanted to BE  a princess by blood." I argued. "So you wish you weren't our blood?" He asked. "I NEVER said that. I'm just NOT ready to tell them I'M A PRINCESS." I shouted. Little did i know that Celestia was listening. "Fine... Sorry... But go to rest a little for now Harmony... We'll get the family home tomorrow" He told me. I sighed and trotted over to my room. By the time i was settled i heard a knock on the door... then i groaned. "Come on in." I shouted trying to not sound grumpy. "I hope i'm not intruding on anything Harmony." Said the voice of Celestia. Her head popped inside my room which made me giggle. "No of course you're not come on in." I replied to her with a meaning smile. "are you alright Harmony?" She asked me sitting next to me. "Of course... or not..." I admitted. "You can tell me you know... I wont judge." She told me with a giggle. "It's sort of complex..." I muttered. But she just smiled. "Harmony... I'm the princess of the biggest empire ever and godess of the sun... i think what's complex to you is a little more of a bug to me." She told me which made me giggle. "I will tell you but you must promise to keep it on the hush hush side... okay?" I asked. "I promise not to say your secret to a sole." She promised. I let out a sigh. "Follow me." She followed me through the hall way and we both edventually ended up in a room with a window closed. She looked at me confused. I sighed and trotted to it and opened it. There was a balcony and when you walked onto it... you were in heaven. Just standing there you saw an entire kingdom. Double the size of Equestria. Lush and green. Full of trees and happy ponies. Colorful and eye catching and sweet smelling. I knew this got Celestia because her jaw was nailed to the floor. "This is double the size of where i live..." She said looking at me. "The kingdom of Paradise... My Kingdom..." I said with a smile. "So you're the..." She said trailing off. I nodded and walked back to my room closing the window with Celestia right behind me. We trotted to my room again. "I can solve the problems. I can take on the challenges. I can rule the Kingdom... But when it comes to wearing the crown..." I trailed off. By now we've reacher my room and opened my closet and the box whoch contained my crown. I held it up infront of me. "But..." Celestia said for me to continue. "I fail... I solve the problems. I take the challenges. I'm able to rule the kingdom... but when i wear my crown... I fail..." I continued putting my crown away and closing my closet. Sighing we both sat down on my bed with Celestia giving me a understanding smile. "I know how you feel Harmony... I was just as unsure as you when i started to wear my crown." She spoke softly to me. I bit my lip and sighed. "But you have a co-ruler. Mine was... let's say not fit for the job..." I told her. "You have a sister?" She asked my in surprise. This made me giggle. "No... a brother. a twin brother but... We're nothing a-like." I replied to her. "What was he like?" She asked. "I don't think it's a good idea if you knew... nore you or the other... espeshally cadence and Shining armour." I replied to her. She nodded. "Perfectly fine... But i think you should tell the others about this soon. I wont do it because it's your desition but in my opinion you should tell them." She said softly. I sighed. I knew she was right but i didn't really want to say but i had to some day or another. Mainly to Blueblood or i'll be hinding who i really was... and that isn't right. "I'm starting to wonder if it's too late to give up my crown..." I stated jokingly. This made both of us laugh a little. "Trust me Harmony. The desitions are the hardest but it's a great job and  sometimes it has its perks here and there." She told me with a giggle. and with that done she excused herself... and so... i fell asleep... I soon woke up again. From what i could tell it was afternoon so i slept a good few hours. Getting up and stretching i soon got myself ready and trotted to the dining room. There i saw most ponies sitting there chatting. One of them was my mother. When she noticed me she smiled. "Hey there sleepy head. Sleep well?" She asked me with a chuckle. i rolled my eyes and giggled. "Just perfect... But we have to get someponies home tomorrow..." I told her. "I don't think you're in condition Harmony. We'll be fine I'll just teleport us there." Celestia said with a smile. "Fine... I still have to go too anyways. I promised Shining armour i'd help him in morning training." I told her. "Oh yes... those guards are going to be surprised..." Luna stated with a chuckle. I then saw my son with his nose stuck in a book... again. I trotted over to him. "Hi Tiger. What are you reading this time?" I asked him. He looked up and smiled. "I've been checking out this areodynamic stuff and i'm going to say it's not as hard as ponies think it is." He replied. The others but me and my mother were surprised when he answered. "There's my little boy... So adorable." I commented. Tiger blushed a very light blush but easily shook it off and put a smile on his face as he hugged me. I hugged back and gave him a smile. "I love you mommy." He said. "I love you too... now let's get you doing something active. You can't keep on sitting in the castle all day. it's unhealthy." I told him. He giggled and laughed. I did the same. So he hopped off his chair and ran outside for a little. I sighed and turned to see the other smiling at me. "adorable..." My mother said. I sighed and sat next to the girls. "I can take care of a child but i can't wear a stupid crowm... WHY...." I moaned. Grunting i slamed my head on the table which made the others chuckle. "You'll get there... Just... Try for a day." Celestia suggested. I lifted my head gave a grunt and slamed it back down again. "My sister is right Harmony. Try to wear it for a day and see how that comes along." Luna agreed. "Come on Harmony. That crown has been worn for centuries and now it's your turn to wear it. We'll be there for you every step of the way." My mother encouraged. I sighed. "Fine... it's court day anyways... WWWWHHHYYYYY...." I groaned. The others giggled while i rolled my eyes. We all made our way to my room. I got ready while they talked. When i stepped out i was wearing my crown and i had my wings out and was wearning my dress. I sighed as i walked to them. "I. Hate. Court day..." I muttered trying on a smile. They all giggled. "Lovely... Not so hard now is it sweetie?" My mother said putting up the crown on my head propally. I took a deep breath and smiled. We started to walk to the throne rom ready for the day i hated the most... court day. For our Empire court day was mainly for any suggestions to help improve the town. Like if any more buildings were needed schools and a whole load more things i find a little boring. We trotted in the throne room. It was guarded by two guards who smiled. I nodded and they let us in. Inside was the throne room. It was decorated with pastel colors making it look... harmonic... and... happy. I sighed as i took my seat at the throne which was a gold color. I was never one to like the attention ponies gave me for being a princess. I sighed. "Princess. are you ready for this day?" a guard asked. "I wish i wasn't... But let us prossed please." I replied to him. He giggled. "Do not worry Princess. Once today is over you'll be able to go back to being yourself... Just one day... Now if you'll excuse me i think i'll let the first pony in." He told me with a chuckle. I sighed and nodded my head. The first pony who entered was a pegasus. She... [Yes SHE] had a light pink coat with her main and tail having loose curls Her cutiemark was a chalk board with a book infront of it indecating she was a teacher.  She smiled and gave a bow. I smiled back... really not likeing the bow but i just faked it was normal for me... it wasn't... "Hello and welcome to Court day. What's your name dear?" I asked her. She rose and smiled. "Hello Princess. My name is Happybook." She replied shyly. "It's lovely to meet you HappyBook. So... How do you think i might be able to help you?" I asked her with a welcoming smile. "Well...Princess i suggest we build more schools for the young Fillies and Colts. Our schools are so full we may need some more." She suggested. I smiled and nodded. "Of course we can. If it is really needed then we will. Do not worry... is that all?" I replied with a nod and a smile. "Yes princess... Thank you for your time." She said. I smiled and with a bow she left. I sighed. The guard let out a chuckle. "Do not worry Princess... You'll get trough it." He told me with a chuckle. "I'd like to see you get up here and attend like a million ponies SheldStar." I replied rolling my eyes. "I'd try but i'm not royal blood you know Princess." He replied me with a laugh. "Not you but my coltfriend is... He's soo cute." I said with a dreamy sigh. He laughed. "Sure... We'll talk later come on it's time to continue your job." He told me. I sighed. "Fine... Bring in the next guest please." I shouted. The next pony was a Unicorn. Her Coat were a hot purple and her mane and tail were fire like colours that gave the impression that they really were on fire...Her Cutiemark was a Magenta heart with a sky blue star in the middle and in the middle of that was a yellow flame symbolising her being able to control fire with her magic. She smiled and bowed. "Hello and welcome to court day. What is your name dear?" I asked really wanting to go but i didn't show that i did. "Hello Princess my name is Fireheart." She replied coming up from her bow. 'This will take a looooooong time...' I thought in my head... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 We'd all just come out of the throne room which was a total felief to me. It had been only fiveteen minuets and it had driven my crazy... totally crazy. First pony suggested more schools for the kids. Second one suggested more fire departments because fires are starting more and more. The third pony suggested another orphanage one which i was happy to always do. The fourth pony asked for a little more land for the earth ponies to use as farm scorce for food and so on. It wasn't that bad but i still hated it because i'm not use to ruling like that so much. I ran to my room and took off my things and when i was done i let out a sigh and a smile. "No more Court day for an entire week... Perfect..." I said flopping onto my bed. I got up and started to read a little. I'd only got to the second chapter when i heard a fimiliar voise at the door... my mother... "Harmony come on sweetheart. I need you at the training ground... now." She said. I sighed and went with her. On my way i bumped into Blueblood. "Oh sorry Blueblood... I didn't see you. How are you anyways it feels like i havent seen you since our.. little problem..." I said nuzzling him. "Just fine honey... how about you? Is that... scare gone now?" He asked me nuzzling me back. "Gone thanks to my unkle. i'm on my way to the training grounds... want to come with me?" I asked. "I could go with you if you want... you sure you should be doing training after yesterday though?" He asked me with a little consern. I giggled a little. "Sweetheart i've been through worse in my life... i'll survive." I replied. He rolled his eyes. "What type of worse?" he asked curiouse. "Ruling... Being an alicorn all my life... Court day..." I shivered at the last one. "Wait what?" He asked. "Yes i admit it... i'm a princess... that hates court day..." I mummbled. He stopped. "How come you didn't say before?" He asked. I knew he was a little disapointed. "I don't know... I just... don't like wearing a crown... i don't think it would suit me..." I said with a little giggle. "It's okay. I have a feeling my auntie Celestia and Luna know how you feel... I'm not mad you'd become a princess soon anyways because if you'd ever marry me you'd have to wear a crown... but you've always been a princess with or without a crown." He told me giving me a nuzzle one which i was happy to return. "Thank you... Let's go my mother would probably be done with that course by now... She says she'd invited a friend over to help me with training but why? I've mastered EVERYTHING in training... almost.. I can't do archery yet... something which my family was never TOO familiar with... Oh here we are." I said. We'd both arrived at the training grounds. "Harmony... Where have you been?" My mother said trotting over to me. "I slowed down on the way... So what are we doing today?" I asked knowing the answer already. "archery... ShieldStar... Where is he?" My mother asked. I noticed him coming up to me for a surprise attack. With out nopony noticing i used my magic to get out my sword. When he was about to strike i turned around to block him... and i did so succesfully. The other two went out of the way and watched. as the two of us faught throwing some complex moves at eachother... okay for HIM it was complex but for me it was just simple moves.They watched hoping none of us would get hurt. He threw my sword out of my grip making it clang against the ground on the other side of the training grounds. I smiled... something that caught him off-guard. When i knew he thought he was done and i was beat i suddenly jumped a long length and ran the rest of the way there. i know he was right behind me i made a sharp turn for a shortcut and to slow him down. I grabbed my sword and stopped him just in time. We both kept going until my unkle decided to be unfair and join in on my opponents side. I faught ShieldStar until i flipped his sword on the other side. While he was busy getting his sword i turned around and started to fight with my unkle. This guy was more of a challange but he still stood no chance considering he couldn't beat my mother. I kept on fighting until i saw ShieldStar with his sword. I had an idea and led my unkle to him and when i saw both of them wanting to try to get me i jumped out of the way and they both got eachother. When they did i finally smiled. I knew Shining was behind me. Blueblood was just about to shout at me when i turned to start fighting Shining armour. He was sharp but i was and had to be sharper. This guy was easily beat. When i knew they were all finished i smiled and trotted to the others who watched. I had a smile on my face while the ones who watched had their jaws nailed to the ground... all but my mother who i knew expected no less from me. Through out the battle other ponies had joined to see. Celestia was one. Luna and Cadence. Tiger was another one who watched. "Easy as pie.." Was all i said. Most ponies looked surprised. "You took on THREE ponies... How was that easy?" Cadence asked me. "Cadence.. I train and learn... There are times when you have to learn things to do things you don't want to." I replied with a smile. "Umm... you beat your unkle. My captain of the guards at home and a pony who could fight and really well all at the same time... You sure it was just training?" Celestia asked. "Of course... Oh ShieldStar come here buddy." I said he came trotting to me with a smile. "You pack a punch you know Harmony... Must be from your mother." He said whispering the last bit to me. I giggled. "I know. Okay ponies this is ShieldStar my captain commander of the guards and best friend since i was a filly." I introduced. "Hi. I'm guessing you ponies aren't from around here... am i right?" He said. "We're from the other side of the everfree forest... no we're not from around" Luna replied for all of them. ShieldStar nodded and smiled. "Well then welcome to the Kingdom Paradise. I hope Princess Harmony has welcomed you well... from what i know she really doesn't like being treated like royalty." ShieldStar stated looking at me then back at the others. "Kingdom Paradise? How come It's never really been said or heard of?" Cadence asked seeing her husbind coming to her. "It's because it is thought of being a legand. While it is real millions of ponies do not know it exists. Those who do come here for peace and no attacks and to live in harmony. Here ponies do not see others different as weird only as unique and welcome them. Say if Discord came here as a young child he wouldn't be denied and turned back on. He would be treated like family and be welcomed." I replied. "How come you know that?" Luna asked. "Let's just say i've stayed with Discord once... interesting day i will admit it." i replied with a giggle. "He is pretty inter- wait a second... how come you're not... well... discorded?" Luna asked. I giggled. "Let us just say i'm not in the entire normal alicorn estate..." I said with a light giggle. ShieldStar giggled with me because he knew to. We both gave a hoof bump while still giggling. "Okay... I must go now Harmony. My mother needs me to look after my little sister and i know that the kid will be exited... Bye." He said waving to us before he went. They alll replied with a happy 'bye' and a smile. "anyhow... I will be going for a walk... anypony want to come?" I asked. "Don't think i can do anything for the rest of the day... Still... how in the good name of our family can you face three ponies all at once and still not be tired?" My unkle asked. "I've had my times... and i can take on you lot in magic too if i put my mind to it." I replied with a smirk. "I bet you couldn't... But i wont say a thing becuse you can be as right as your mother so... Bye." He said. I giggled giving a hoof bump to my mother who was also giggling slightly. "Your unkle tends to be a teeny bit of a quiter sometimes... overall he wont give up until he has his way..." My mother told me. I giggled. "Couldn't help but agree mom... was he like that when you two were kids?" I asked her. "Oh yes but a lot more stubborn and hated to accept the fact that i always won him when we were training... " My mother replied with another giggle. "Okay... I will be going to..." I started trailing off when i felt something was wrong... I couldn't put my hoof on it but i knew something was wrong. "What's wrong?" My mother asked me. "Where did i put my... ahem... gem collection mom?" I asked. "Gem coll- Oh..." Luna said realising what i was talking about. My Harmony stones... i was talking about those things... and she knew. "In your room sweetheart..." My mother replied a little nurvous giggle. I took a deep breath and stopped... "Shining armour and Cadence can you two come with me... this sort of conserns you two... and the empire..." I asked them not saying the last three words but thinkning them. They looked at each other and nodded. They both followed me into my room and i took out my gems as they sat down. When they saw the gems they must of thought 'what are those?' and 'what is she doing?' and 'what's going on?'. I sighed and sat down with them. "Okay... Harmony can you tell us what is going on please?" Cadence finally asked. "Tell me one thing... Did you leave the protector barior on the empire?" I asked. "No...no we didn't... why?" Shining armour replied. I cast a spell making each of my gems spin and edventually make something like a rainbow ring. all of a sudden an image started to appear in the middle of the rainbow-like ring. It was the Crystal Empire... Let's just say we needed to get there and fast. "Sometimes... not even the crystal heart can keep out all evil..." I told them. "But the crystal heart is more powerful than ever... right?" Cadence asked. I sighed. "Listen to this story i have for you." I told them. They looked at me confused. "Oookkkaay..." Shining armour said. I giggled and started. "Once there lived a young colt. His passion was to learn. In his day there wasn't school... there where teachers but they taught in their homes. This young colt had a thirst for knowlage... wanting to know more and more... there wasn't anything he did not know about natural magic anything knew he'd find out about he'd learn it by the second... BUT... he wanted more. His dreams was to one day soon become the best. He had everything a pony would want... or a twin. His family was simple... or it seemed. His father with a heart as back as night and with a mother as caring as a butterfly. He had his sister who was his complete opposit. While he was abishous and only cared about his future his sister was... how do i say this... more pleasent." I said looking down at the image casting a spell to help me mess around with what was going on. "and..." Continued Shining armour. "Try to figure out the rest... try to guess what happened." I told them. "Can you give us a clue... this makes no sence..." Cadence asked. I noded. "anything knew he'd find he'd want to learn about it... Teachers would teach in their homes." I re-told them. "Can we call somepony to help us?" Shining asked. I giggled as Celestia walked by and popped he head in the room. "Oh Celestia can you help us on something? Please?" Cadence asked. She nodded and came in. "What do you need my assistence in?" She asked with a smile. "Can you repeat the story?" Cadence asked me. I nodded and re-told the story. Celestia heard every word and started thinking. "Clue to finding out what happens to the colt is 'anything knew he'd find he'd want to learn about it... Teachers that time taught in their homes." I told her. "Hmm... if i was to guess... It would be at the time when Dark magic wasn't discovered as much..." She replied. "But wait... " Cadence realised. "He colt found that type of magic and controlled it... didn't he?" Shining asked. I nodded. "Yes... You might want to go to the Crystal empire now..." I told them. "Why?" Celestia asked. I pointed at the image. There where crystals outside that where becoming pure black and it made the crystal loose its' shine. They gasped. What they saw was horrifiying... i really couldn't blame them. The sky started to fill with dark cluds instead of seeing the sunny skies it was darkness... everywhere. "He's back... how is he back?" Panicked Cadence. I sighed. "He always finds a way...no matter what..."I said under my breath with tears threatining to show but i managed to stop them from coming. "Let's go. Or he'll be unstoppable." Shining armour exclaimed. They all stormed out of the room and left me. I let out a sigh and trotted over to my closet and took out my crown and looked into the mirror. "Now or never Harmony... Now or never..." I said to myself. *NO PONIES POV* *[/b]At the Crystal Empire..*.** The Empire was in pure misery by now. Dark Crystals everywhere. No hope. No love... Just torture and Evil. Evil. The very thing that held that one being.... that one pony. The very King of shadows himself... King Sombra. With his dark grey fur and black flickering mane. armour and a red cape fit for a king and that covered his cutiemark. King. That was NO word to describe him... ever. He was in 'his throne' at the crystal castle. Laughing to himself. He has 'his own' empire. Slaves and more. Suddenly he saw the doors to the throne room open. In the hallway stood Celestia. Luna. Cadence and Shining armour with Blueblood at the back. "Well look who found out... i must thank you for offering me your kingdom... that was very generous of you..." He said with a cackle. "Sombra... get out of my kingdom... this instant..." Cadence growled gritting her teeth while saying so. "It was never yours to begin with." He stated. Luna glared at him and the others did the same. He rolled him eyes. "I swear it was ment to be the other way Sombra..." Said a voice from behind. When he turned he grew a little bit worries... a little bit. Standing there was Harmony... but she changed. How y'all would ask? Her mane was flowing with a glimmer of sparkles just like celestias' but only with her strips of blue and pink in it "Oh Harmony... You've not changed... literally." Sombra said with an evil smile curling on his lips. Harmony rolled her eyes. "Just the stallion i wanted to see... NOT..." She said. "Well... i'll take care of you later... i've got ponies here to take care of so... be a good mare and go away." He said turning to the others who were just as comfused as eachother. He had no idea of the wave of strong wind that was reaching him. When he DID notice it he was flying to the crystal walls. Harmony smirked and trotted up to him. "Seems YOU'VE not changed Sombra... you were never the pony for surprise attacks..." Harmony stated with a smirk that had not come off her face. "Seems you've not weakned with that spell Harmony..." He said weakly trying to get up. Harmony sighed. this was when Luna stepped in. "What spell Harmony? and... How do you know him?" Luna asked conserened about Harmony. "It's nothing..." Harmony muttered. "We grew up together... that's why she knows me." Sombra filled in for me. "Wha-? Did you?" Shining armour asked. Harmony sighed. "Yes... yes we did." I replied. They all gasped... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Harmony's POV I woke up the next morning and got up. I was fast... and i had to be fast.  By the time i was in the kitchen my mother was already there too. She's always been the early bird... if i'm honest with ya it's not that early. "Morning mom." I told her. "Morning sweetheart... Sleep well?" She asked me. "Yes... Need help mom?" I asked her. "Oh yes please." She replied. So we both got to work with the breakfast. Soon each of our guests and family came in one by one each giving in their 'goodmornings' and we gave ours to them. My unkle and Celestia were the first ones to come. Both of them were having a pleasent chat. Next came in the married couple Cadence and Shining armour. Right after that came in Luna abd Blueblood. We were all chatting and waiting for breakfast to finish of when the little colt from last time came in lawning. "Morning Tiger." My mother said. "Morning Grandma has mom come home yet?" He replied with a yawn. "Morning sleepy head." I said all of a sudden. He fliped around and ran to give me a hug. I giggled when he did this. "You're back." He said hugging me tighter. "Yes i am... Why? Did yout think i would never come back?" I asked him "Uh huh..." He replied with a nod. "I wouldn't leave even if i was being mind controlled." i told him with a calm voice. "Promise mommy?" He asked me. When Blueblood heard this he started to think the worst. "Mommy?" said Blueblood under his breath. "I promise. Now go to the table and then later we can all go play outside with Mewdows animals." I said with a happy tone. "Okay mommy..."Tiger replied.I smiled as he turned around and went to the table. He sat right next to my unkle. He started to giggle when the had finished their own little hoof bump. I rolled my eyes. Once breakfast was served we all ate happily with my sitting next to Vlueblood and my adoptive son. By the time we had all finished i already had Tiger annoying me to go outside. "Tiger please wait." I told him. "Please can we go? please? Please Pleaaaasseee???" He asked me doing those puppy god eyes. "Fine. I give but go fetch Honey... It's check up day with grampa today." I replied to him not being able to ignore those puppy dog eyes. He cheared and went to get honey [his bet bird.] "Is is like that every morning?" Celestia asked me with a giggle. "Oh yes... He's very enerygetic at this age i'm not surprised." I replied with a giggle. "He'll grow out of it... then he's going to start training and then flop on the bed when he gets there." My unkle Summersword said with a giggle. "I know i did." My mother stated with a giggle. "Yes... after you bugged me." SummerSword said rolling his eyes. My mother just giggled and shrugged. "Right... I better start putting these away before that little guy comes and starts to bug me again..." I told them with a giggle. "I'll help." Luna offered. I giggled as she picked up some of the plates with her magic and put them in the kitchen. Soon with Lunas' help i was done. Once they had startted to chat again Tiger came in. "I've got Honey checked. NOW can we go out side? Please? I wanna see you train." He exclaimed. I giggled. "I thought you wanted to go and play." I told him with a giggle. "Maybe later if you're up to it. But i SERIOUSLY want to see you train." He replied to me with exitement. "Fine... But stay back... I don't want you getting hurt." I warned him. "Harmony? Fighting? Now this is gotta see." Exclaimed Shining getting up. "I'll bet she's better than the captain of the royal guards... Shining armour..." Tiger said with a sly grin. "I'll not say nothing... I'm off training. Coming Tiger?" I asked not wanting to get into something bad. He nodded and went outside with me. Shining followed us to see me training. The others came up too. Outside my mother was waiting for me and had set up training. "Okay... nice to see you on time Harmony." My mother welcomed. "Nice to be here... What are we going to be doing today mom?" I asked putting Tiger down next to Shining who wanted to see how well i fought. "Next bit of training now sweetheart. But you've gotta try this one on your own before i can teach you." She told me. "Perfect..." I told myself. "Get the things you think you will need for the mission... they are on the side." I nodded and went to get them. I went to the side and started to choose carefully what i should take and what i should not. There were my two favorite  weapons... So i took them two. I then stood by the starting line with my mother navegating my 'misson' on the side. "Okay... What am i meant to do?" I asked ready for anything. "Okay... Right at the end is the princesses most prized jewel. Your mission is to gather it at the end of the course... BUT careful. There will be traps and bits in the way. You must avoid them all and get there... Got it?" She explained. I nodded. "Let's do this." I said in my starting position. She nodded and started the course. "Retrieve the crown." She souted all of the sudden. I knew that was my 'go' and so i darted through the course with my two swords on my back. I ran and ran until i got to my first trap. I avoided all of them. Jumping flipping and crawling out of the way expertly. Once i had laded from the chaos i kept on running. i knew i couldn't stop nore look back right now... i could only look forwards. Soon... came in the shadow guards.. i knew they would come along edventually... they always come. I expertly fought them as if they were play dolls. But it became more of a challange when more than one attacked me. I made it through flipping and slashing through them. The dissepired once they were touched by my swords. My mother was always watching me. Navegating my misson and was my 'commander in charge' and she controlled the misson. I then came up to the jewel... But stopped... This was easy... TOO easy for my liking... "Why'd she stop?" asked Celestia to my unkle. "When on a misson you must always expect something... it's never over..." He replied. Out of nowhere i took out some powder and blew it at the piece of glass that held the jewel.Slowly but graduely red lazers apered and i smiled. I knew it. Never stop expecting something in a mission. I then carefully lifted the glas high enough so i could fit the jewel through but low enough so the lazers wouldn't hit the glass. Then with some summer salts and flips in the air i was able to get back to where i started without needing to go through the trouble of the traps and the shadow guards. I gave in the jewel to my 'commander' or my mother and she looked happy with the results. "That was as easy as pie." I told her giving in what i was placed to bring back. My mothers laughed. "Well... I know one thing for sure you've improved since we've started." She told me with a laugh. Then Tiger... My adoptive son came to give me a hug. "You were awesome mom..." He praied with a hug which i happily returned. "You'll get there too honey you just have to wait. Until then i don't want you to grow up." I told him with a giggle. He nodded and gave me one more hug before he went off. Blueblood and Shining armour trotted up to me next. "That was great Honey. You did fab... Like always." Said with a smile giving me a kiss which i happily returned. "You should join the guards one day Harmony... It would be nice to have you around." Shining Said with a smile. I giggled. "I don't know... Might do... but i can't help but not want to move from my family... That and i am a mother... so i have respsibilities." I replied. "You should be a trainer. It would be nice to have you there... you're a great fighter." Shining complemented. "Tell you what. I'll come in mornings for some training sessons and i'll go in the afternoon." I proposed. "That would be fab." He replied. "But i'm gonna have to bring Tiger with me... Is that okay?" I asked. He nodded. "Sure. What do you think of starting tomorrow?" He asked. I nodded. With that he smiled and with Cadence he went inside. I giggled. "Looks like we're going on a trip Tiger." I told my little colt. He smiled and started to jump. "This is SOOOO COOL. Oh i have to pack up mom... Oh my gosh what though? Oh Grampa. I need some help." He said running inside. "Oh he's just cute like that... Want to go for a walk aroung Blueblood?" I asked. He nodded. We went out of the back yard and to the medows. They were lovely medows full of flower feilds and colors. We walked around for some time then we stopped and sat down. We then went silence then he broke the silence. "It's been nice to be here. Yow have such a nice family." He commented. "Okay... What's wrong Sweetheart?" I asked him. "What do you mean what's wrong?" He told me with an innicont voice. I just giggled. "Don't be silly. I KNOW when you're hiding something... Is it Tiger?" I asked him. He sighed. "Who is the father of the child?" He asked me with a little bit of anger in his voice. "Before you go all nutty. He's been adopted... Is that what you're worrying about?" I asked. He nodded. I put his head up to leval with mine and gave him a kiss. It lasted only for seconds but it felt like years. When we broke up we stared into eachother's eyes. "Sorry for just assuming that type of stuff but..." He apolagised. "Hey... anypony would do the same... But start to think of him as a son okay? and you're the wonderful sweet and careing and adorable father" I told him. "I will do... When WE have our own kids." He said with a sly grin. i blushed and looked down at my hooves. He giggled. We then went inside and found Tiger bugging my grandfather Medow. I gigged when i saw this. "Can we can we can we can we can we can we c-" He said until Medow intrrupted him. "Why don't you go and ask mommy?" He told him. I giggled. "What is it this time?" I asked him. "Can i please have the key to one of our libraries? Please?" He asked. I giggled. "Yes of course we can. But try to be paitient honey." I replied. He nodded and we all went to get the key for it. Once we were there and i opened the library he ran inside to a part he always went to. It was double the size of the canterlot castle library... Boy twilight would LOVE this place. I giggled when my adoptive son went to fetch his book. "Boy i know my aunties student would LOVE this place..." Blueblood stated. I laughed. "I should tell Twilight to come over. I know her friends would LOVE this place." I told him. He agreed with me. Soon after some time Tiger came back with a book he was intrested in. Not only that but he also had his muzzle stuck in it. We both giggled at how he could do everything while reading... In my words... i thought it was adorable. We closed up the library and went outside for a little. While Blueblood took care of Tiger i took a bit of training time. There was that one piece of training i could not do. It was just... TOO fustrating. I took a deep breath and started to train. It was only with my two swords. Even though i mastered them ages ago i just can't  help but feel that i could use more work on this type of stuff. My unkle SummerSword and Shining armour along with Cadence and Celetia came outside for a second. They saw me training and my unkle had an idea and a sly smile on his face. Shining read his mind and both took out a sword and made their way to the training ground. I knew they wanted to attack my so i pretended to not know they were there. Just when my unkle was about to take the first strike i spun around and blocked him just in time. I fought him from then on. He was just as skilled as me but i was better... I NEEDED to be better. We i managed to flick his weapon off him i spun aroung and found Shining trying to sneak up on me. I rapidly started to fight him. Soon my unkle joined in. I found this entertaining but i kept my mind on focus. Soon my unkle was worn off and joined the other ponies at the side watching. Now it was me and Shining armour on the ground. He stared at me just as i did to him. "You're the fighter huh? Let's try you against me then..." He said under his breath but loud enough for me to hear. I smirked and said... "Bring it..." With that said he charged at me. I smiled at how he was eager to learn some new moves. I dodged him easily as he kept on trying to attack me but kept on failing. He then swung his sword at me and i rapidly blocked it. "Some fighting skills." He muttered under his breath. He swung the sword at me and i took the chance and swung my sword making a 'clang' against his. I then made them both go round and round and at the right time i flicked his and made it clash against the ground. "Never underestimate..." I told him as i helped him up. He nodded as he tried to catch his breath. "That was tough..." He admitted. "Seriously? I thought it was nice and easy." I told him with a smile. He knew i found it easy but he still gave a nice laugh. We trotted over to the others who were waiting for us to join them. "Great fight you two." My unkle told us with a laugh. "Thanks unkle... But it was too easy." I told him with a laugh. "Really? You gave me some complex moves." Shining Told me. I giggled. "I could have won you state at the first shot... But i decided to play along." I told him. "In that case... I wonder what you'd look like in armour. Back in canterlot we really need somepony like ya there." He told me with a giggle. "I would if i didn't have... responsibilities here." I told him with a giggle. He shrugged and went inside with Cadence following him with a giggle. "Mommy. You've gotta see this." Tiger told me with a shout. "What is it this time Tiger?" I asked him. He trotted over to me with his book closed and 'bookmarked'. "Look mommy." He told me. I rolled his eyes as he showed me it. I laughed. It turns out our family album was in the library.... huh? Doing what? No idea... "It's our family album... Unkle must have put it there again..." I told him with a giggle. "Yes... hey. our family has an entire line of alicorns." He pointed out. I giggled. "It's another gift... and heavens blessed us with it." I told him. he smiled and hugged me which i returned happily. I trotted over to Blueblood who gave me a hug and a kiss. "Great fight honey... Wouldn't be overwhelmed if aunty got you to be her personal guard." He told me which made me blush. "No way. I'm happy here and i prefer to stay with my family..." I told him rolling my eyes at him. he leaned over to me and whispered; "What about our family?..." "We're not even married and you're already thinkning of that?" I asked him surprised. "Can't i dream?" He asked me nuzzling me. I rolled my eyes. "Of course you can... when the time comes... 'Till then... wait." I told him. after some giggles and eyes rolling we went inside. Soon it was dinner time. Ponies were talking and chatting at the dinner table. I wasn't really talking... at all. I was in deep thought... thinking about what Blueblood had told me earlier. 'Starting a family??? With blueblood? I'm not even married... But he's soo sweet. But i've not even told him about... it. I don't think he would like me after i told him that... Should i tell him?...' i thought. I was soon noticed by Princes Luna who snapped me out of my thoughts. "Harmony. are you alright? You've been... weird lately." Luna asked me. I put a smile on my face and looked up at her. "Yes sorry i was... lost in thought." I replied to her. "are you sure?" she asked me. I nodded. "Yes... Will you please excuse me." I said. They all nodded and with that i went out of the table and went to my room. I was alone at last... perfect. I went out of my room and went down the hall. I kept on trotting past all of the doors in my sight until i saw a door with a drum on it. I smiled and entered it. Inside was intruments after instruments.  I loved to play them. I knew how to play every single one. From the triangle or the bell to the Guitar and piano... Oh the piano was my favorite. I could play it forever and never get tired of it. I heard somepony trotting behind me so i turned around and saw everypony behind me. I giggled. "Umm... Hi everypony?" I said giggling. "Back in here huh? One thing she likes more than training and a few other things is playing music." My mother said wth giggles. "Yeah... Wanna here me play? I was just going to play a little bit of the piano until you came and showed up." I told them. They all nonned and took a seat while i sat infront on the piano. With my hooves i started to play the intro to a song i've heard. Let's just say that... the singer... isn't from around. When the times came i started to sing which got our guests by surprise. The snow glows bright on the mountain tonight not a hoof print... to be seen... a kingdom of icolation and it looks like... i'm the queen.. The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside. couldn't keep it in... heaven knows i've... tried... Don't let them in don't let them see Be the good mare you've always have to be. consiel don't feel don't let them know... Well now they know... Let it go let it go can't hold back anymorelet it go let it go turn away and slam the door. I don't care what they're going to say. Let the storm rage on... The cold never bothered me any ways... I kept on playing the piano while i wasn't singing. I loved this song. I was forgettig the fact i wasn't alone. It felt like i was on my own and so i became more relaxed. Just enjoying the melody of the piano. Soon i began singing again. It's funny how some distance... makes everything seem small and the fears that once controlled me... can't get to me at all. It's time to see what i can do to test the limits and break through. No right no wrong to rules for me I'm free.... But this time i played as if somepony was making something out of magic not caring if other were wating. [heard that somewhere???] I soon started to sing again. Taking a deep breath before i started. My power fluries through the air into the ground. my soal is spiraling is frozen fractals all around. and one thought crystalisis like an icy blast.. I never going back... the past is in the past... Let it go let it go and i'll rise like the break of dawn. let it go let it go That perfect girl is gone. Here i stand in the light of day... Let the storm rage on........ The cold never bothered me anyways..." I finished the song and was rapidly brought back to the real world when i heard ponies claping behind me. I turned around and smiled. When they stopped claping Celestia started to speak. "That was lovely Harmony." Celestia said with a smile which i happily returned. "Thank you Celestia. I love the classics." I told her with a giggle. Blueblood walked up to me and nuzzled me. "You did great honey." He complemented. "Thank you..." I replied nuzzling him back. "Well... the sun isn't going to lower its slef so if everypony will excuse me... Celestia excused herself and so did luna and everypony did the same. I was left with blueblood. "I'm going to put Tiger to bed... want to come with me?" I asked. He nodded and so we went out of the music room and went to find my adoptive son. We found him reading in his bed room... typical... "The pegasus is a type of pony with wings who has a better understanding of arodynamics a-"He read until i interrupted him. "Hey Tiger." I said with a smile trotting into the room with Blueblood. "Hi mommy... Hi Blueblood. Is everything okay?" He asked us rasing his head from his book. "Everything is fine but it's bedtime now." I told him. Blueblood walked up to me and stood next to me. "Okay mommy... But can i ask you something?" He asked me. "Of course you can. What is it sweetie?" I replied to him.
