Thumper Ropes is an experienced radio jock. He has been through it all from interning to having his first show to stepping it up a bit to offending ponies to getting fired as a result of offending ponies to getting lucky and getting back into the game.

Guu Brick is a bit younger and less experienced with radio than Thumper. Considering the fact that his cutiemark is a film reel, Guu has had more experience with film than anything. It is his main passion. However, he has smaller passions which include standup and radio.

During his short stay in Manehattan, Thumper met Guu and saw how much of a talented young fella he was. But Guu was also accompanied by another person of great talent. This someone was Tius, a griffon comedian. Together, all three of them decided on what would be known as The Thumper & Guu Show - a comedy-oriented talk radio show with shenanigans that aim to push boundaries. For them, outrage equals success...but reasonably so. They kind of want to keep their jobs.
