Equestria has seen the fall and rehabilitation of Discord, the restoration of the Crystal Empire, and even the creation of the Princess of Friendship. The country known for friendship and harmony has also become self-sufficient, closed its borders, converted to an electorally run bureau government, and installed the Mirage System and Harmoni-Passes. In using this system and the daily checking of each pony's Harmoni-Pass, along with the help of the MWPSB and the weapons known as Harmonizers, Equestria has achieved widespread happiness and tranquility as the rest of Equus has fallen apart to civil wars and skirmishes over resources. Yet, even among the most peaceful and harmonized of people there can remain secrets unrest. Especially, if the Mirage System itself holds the darkest of secrets.
