Chapter 1: Time for Trouble.
A young filly trotted through the Everfree Forest. A dark, almost black cloak covered her back. A shadow was created, hiding her dark purple eyes. As she trotted down the dark brown path, her hooves made small indents into the damp ground which created an imprint of her hooves. The filly held her head high and proud as she made her way down the path. The forest became dense and she arrived to another path which criss-crossed the one she was on. Ahead, five figures could be seen standing in a semi-circle, also in cloaks. The cloaks of the others varied in different dark colors from purple to pink and blues. However, they still maintained an almost mysterious element to it. The filly joined the five and stood silently in front of them before lowering her hood. The moonlight caught in her eyes and they lit up to a beautiful purple color. Her coat was a gray color and her mane purple and cut short.
"Do you have everything?" the gray coated filly questioned, moving to sit down.
A colt lowered his hood, exposing his pastel-blue coat and darker blue mane. He stepped forward with a bag on his back and pulled it off, dropping it in front of the filly before taking a step back and sitting. "It's all here," he said. "Glue, toilet paper, glitter, and some of Rarity's gems," He spoke as another pony stepped forward.
"I got a confetti canon but it's already in position. It was too heavy to get it all the way out here," the filly said. Her dark pink cloak hid herself as she took her own turn to sit.
The gray-coated filly nodded and she stood, pulling the hood back over her head. She turned her back towards everypony else and looked over her shoulders. "Let's get going before we get caught out here," she said before smiling some. "Oh, and thanks Moonlight for making us these cloaks! Now nopony will tell it's us!" The filly took off down another path, her trot turning into a slow gallop while the others followed.
The gray-coated filly looked up at the moon and then around her, seeing how the moonlight lit up her surroundings. Her and the other fillies and colts exited the forest and into PonyVille. The group slowed to a simple trot and approached a familiar boutique and they all slid to a halt, more or less crashing into each other. They stood in a line as they looked over the boutique. The only way of lighting was the moon. The group couldn't see much but they could see enough to know what they were doing. The gray coated filly knelt down, preparing to charge. Her short tail swished from side to side and her eyes narrowed. "Ready?" she whispered, looking over her shoulder to see her five friends were doing the same and they nodded. She smirked and took off running as she yelled, "Attack!!"
White sheets of toilet paper covered the boutique. The fillies and colts laughing and giggling as they made a mess of the place. Gems were glued to the low windows and any part of the boutique they could reach with their hooves including the front door. Moonlight, a white colored colt with his blue mane naturally spiked up, laughed deviously as he dumped bags of glitter on the green grass, grinning with pride as he watched the lawn sparkle in the moonlight.
A pink filly grinned as she sat in front of a confetti canon. On the side of the canon the words Pinkie's Part Canon" was engraved into the side. She looked over at everypony else and smirked before saying, "It's all set up and ready. Wake her up."
Moonlight looked up from his glitter work and nodded quickly, trotting over to the door and knocking on the door before ringing the doorbell a several hundred times before running to hide behind a bush along with his friends while the pink filly remained behind the canon.
Hooves could be heard inside the boutique and the door opened. Rarity stood with the door open. She clearly just woke up as her eyes drooped and she wasn't wearing her blue eye shadow she normally did. Her face was covered in a greenish face mask. She didn't have time to think before the pink filly pressed a button on the canon and confetti spilled out into the air and onto Rarity. Her un-brushed, curly mane was now covered in confetti and her face mask was ruined. The filly ran over to join her friends behind the bush as they burst into laughter together. One by one, they fell from behind the bush, laying on their backs with their hooves pressed to their stomach while they laughed to the point tears pricked the corners of their eyes. Rarity stood with a look of disgust on her face before trotting into the yard and turning to see the mess her boutique was in. She hadn't even noticed the glitter all over the grass yet. Her mouth hung open. "My house!" she yelled, turning with an angered look as she approached the four fillies and two colts. "What have you done! My boutique is ruined! The toilet paper is a mess and the gems don't even match!" Rarity groaned before looking at her hooves which were now covered in glitter. "Ah! What a mess!" Rarity gasped, looking around to see that her entire yard was nothing but glitter.
Rarity took a moment to pace back and forth, talking to herself about how much of a disaster this was. She finally turned to the group of six and she frowned, narrowing her eyes as she looked at the gray-coated filly. "Diamond Topaz?? Is that you?" Rarity said, her voice contained disgust and disappointment. "Get in the house right now. You have no idea how much trouble you are in! You'll be cleaning this mess up for weeks!" She said.
Diamond lowered her head when she realized Rarity had noticed it was her and her ears fell back. "This wasn't my idea, though," she complained, starting to walk ahead. She looked behind her to her friends with a sad frown before saying, "Bye, guys. I'll see you whenever I'm freed from this prison." Diamond walked off into the boutique and up the stairs to her room.
Rarity turned to the others. "As for the rest of you," she began, raising towering over the five with a disappointed look, "I will letting Twilight and the rest of your parents know what has happened. I suggest you get home before you get into any more trouble," she stated before turning and walking back into the boutique, closing the door and heading up to her own room after talking to Diamond Topaz.
The three fillies and two colts that were left watched and said goodbye to their good friend before they turned and began to head home. A Blue colt spread his Pegasus wings and flew off with a yellow filly, the others walking side by side until they split up to head home.

I at least hope I will be continuing this story. I will update as much as I can but I do not have an exact time. I'd like to say every week but it may be more or less... maybe a few months... I'm sorry in the end it all depends on how well liked this story will be.
Twilight sat in the library of her castle, reading a book with a candle light sitting next to her. She looked up when a stallion walked into the large room and walked over.
"You're still awake? It's almost two in the morning," he stated and pressed his muzzle against her neck in a small nuzzle before looking at the book she was reading.
Twilight looked up with a light blush and she shrugged. "Just reading up on Griffons," she said as she turned the page and watched as the stallion laid down while she sat. "What about you, Flash. You're up too so you can't be complaining about me," Twilight said before pushing Flash Century gently and smiling, the blush remaining on her cheeks. She still got nervous around him despite being together for quite a while.
"Well, it's hard to sleep when my princess isn't next to me," Flash explained before smiling and laying on his side before standing. "Besides, Moonlight hasn't come into our room for a while." he explained before moving to brush up against her and nuzzled into her cheek. "He's gotten to be a deep sleeper recently. It means we can finally have the bedroom to ourselves. I'm going back to bed, don't stay up too long you still have all day tomorrow to read too."
Twilight nodded and she turned the page of the book once more. It didn't take long before she closed the book and put it on the table before leaving the library and heading down the hall. She heard the front door open and her ears fell back as she ran up the stairs towards her bedroom. "Flash, are you still awake? I heard somepony get into the castle."
Flash listen his head and looked over at Twilight before he frowned and climbed out of bed and threw on a dark blue robe and grabbed a bat as if that would protect them. "Alright. I'll take care of it, just stay in here."
Twilight gave a quick nod and she, blew out the candle, and moved to hide under the sheets, hoping it would protect her when in a real situation it wouldn't do anything but make her more noticeable. Flash walked down the hall and stairs before heading to the main entrance. He kept the bat in his mouth, ready to whack at any intruders if they were to sneak up on him. Flash turned a corner and he turned the light on, prepared to attack. He saw who it was and he just sighed, dropping the bad.. "Moonlight," he said, trotting over. "What are you doing? You're supposed to be in bed," Flash scolded, watching as the purple colt hung his head and began to walk past his father.
"I went out to be with my friends and Rarity got mad at us..." Moonlight explained, dragging his hooves up the stairs and towards his room. Flash raised an eyebrow, wondering why his son was out at two in the morning and why Twilight's close friend was mad at him. Flash shook his head and decided to figure it out later, walking up the stairs and crawling back into bed to lay with Twilight.
"Did you take care of it?" Twilight asked, sticking her head out from under the covers.
Flash looked at Twilight and he nodded, nuzzling her before rolling over. "Of course I did."
When morning came, Flash had gotten up, dressed, and went downstairs to the kitchen. Flash was always the first one to wake up in the castle, therefore he was always the one to make breakfast. Flash hummed to himself a simple melody as he began to fry a couple of eggs and toast slices of bread.
The sound of hooves clicking on the tile floor of the castle could be heard and Flash looked up from the stove and over his shoulder. Moonlight, Flash and Twilight's son, walked into the kitchen with a tired yawn. It was clear the small colt had just woken up. Moonlight’s mane and tail were tangled, his mane knotted around his unicorn horn. Flash gave his son a gentle smile and he trotted over, nuzzling him and watching the colt laugh softly.
"Did you just wake up, Moonlight?" Flash asked, pressing a fatherly kiss to the top of the other's head and trotting back to the stove to flip the eggs and butter the toast.
Moonlight nodded slowly and he walked over to watch his father. "Isn't it hard to do that?" Moonlight questioned, tilting his head to the side.
"Now, why would something like this be hard for me? It's just breakfast."
"Well, you're an earth pony. That can't be easy to do without magic." Moonlight turned and left the kitchen, soon returning as he pushed a chair into the kitchen and jumped onto it, sitting down. "Can I help?"
Flash chuckled and he shook his head, putting bread into the toaster once more and put eggs on the plate. "Sure you can help. Especially since you'll be telling your mother how you sneaked out of the castle last night."
Moonlight blinked, lowering his head and letting his ears fall back. "You remember that?"
"How could I forget how afraid Twilight was last night thinking someone had broken into her home?"
"Oh. Maybe she forgot! I don't have to tell her if she forgot."
"Nice try, Moonlight. You still have to tell her. You have to face that what you've done is wrong."
Moonlight sighed and watched the toast pop out of the toaster. His small horn glowed and lifted the toast and laid it on the plate, soon using his magic to raise a butter knife and start to butter the toast before putting in new bread. He glanced at his father with a small frown.
Flash looked over at Moonlight and let one of his ears flop over as the other remained perked. “What is it, Moonlight?” Flash questioned, setting an egg on a plate and cracking another into the pan.
“It’s just that I wouldn’t consider what I did bad. I was just having fun with some of my friends!” Moonlight protested before lowering his head. “I don’t get it!”
“Moonlight,” Flash began with a sigh, “Rarity called and told me what happened earlier this morning. She says that you and your friends threw toilet paper all over her boutique and home! Not to mention that it was you who put all the glitter over the lawn.” Flash explained, raising an eyebrow. “Hurry and butter the rest of that toast before your mother wakes up.”
The colt gave a slight roll of his eyes. “I still don’t think I did anything. If anything, I was helping,” Moonlight grumbled as he buttered the last two pieces of toast once they popped out of the toaster.
Flash and Moonlight set the dining room table with place mats and plates along with silverware and glasses. The two had set the table just as Twilight Sparkle walked into the dining room with a robe draped over her tiredly. Her tail and mane were unbrushed and matted as she moved to site at the end of the long table. Moonlight sat next to her on one side of the table and Flash on the other. The three of them sat there in silence and ate. While Twilight was busy drinking a cup of black coffee and eating her eggs and toast, Flash looked up at his son, Moonlight, and turned his head, silently signaling to him he had to tell his mother what was going on. Moonlight glanced at his mother and he heaved a sigh, knowing very well how this was going to go.
“Mother?” Moonlight began, watching as she took a drink of her coffee and lowered the glowing mug down to the table before looking up.
“Yes, Moonlight? What is it?”
Moonlight hesitated and looked over to his father, hoping to be saved only to have the stallion shake his head at him. The colt sighed and looked at his plate, beginning to mumble.
“Speak up, honey. I cannot understand what you’re trying to say.”
“I said,” Moonlight began, “I sneaked out of the house last night to hang out with my friends.”
“Oh.. Well that’s not too bad, Moonlight. You didn’t have to be afraid to just tell me you wanted to stay out longer. I wouldn’t have minded. How late were you out?”
“Pretty late… I don’t know what time it was really, though.”
Flash looked up from where he was sitting and raised a brow, frowning. “Why don’t you tell your mother what you guys did.”
Moonlight blinked and he looked at his mother before he sighed. “We went to Rarity’s boutique and messed it up. It was fun though! I decorated her lawn with glitter! Apple Crisp came up with the idea, though!”
Twilight Sparkle’s eyes widened and looked at her son. “You guys did what?” she asked, jumping out of her chair. “I have read every book there is about raising a colt and filly! There wasn’t anything about what to do if they cover somepony’s yard with glitter,” Twilight said before she sighed. “You, mister, are in big trouble. You will be going to Rarity’s house right after breakfast to go clean up .I’m sure your friends will be there to help you. I can’t believe my own son would do something like this. Do you not think before you act, Moonlight?”
Moonlight gulped, lowering his head. “I’m sorry, Mother. I was only trying to have some fun.”
“Hurry and finish your breakfast. The sooner you start the sooner you will be finished. We will talk about this when you get home,” Twilight said before sitting back in the seat to receive a nuzzle from Flash Century. Moonlight nodded and he quickly finished his breakfast and ran out the door and down towards Rarity’s boutique.
