"There they are the Elements of Cacophony , just as the legends foretold. They are beautiful." said a dark cloaked figure.
"You were right, they were in the Everfree Forest." said another cloaked figure.
"Maybe we shouldn't go through with it this does seem a b-" said third voice but was shortly cut off.
"What's the matter are you scared of true power, or are you afraid of that stupid excuse of a Princess Twilight Sparkle." said the first figure.
"After all she was the one to bankrupt you in a matter of days. or did you last encounter leave you a bit too soft." the second figure said as the figure pushed her.
"N-no, Of course not. The Great and Powerful Trixie never backs down from a confrontation." said Trixie trying to hide her feeling for the princess.
"That's great to hear, I would hate it if I had to cut off a member of this team. Now start harvesting the Elements we only have a limited time before they disappear." commanded the first.
"You did never tell me what these Elements were for Stainless Dusk." Addressing the dark figure.
"Well I trust you enough. They are, to put it simply, the corrupted Elements of Harmony."
"They're what now?" asked the still unknown one.
"They are the most evil magic in all of Equestria, even stronger than the centaur that ravaged the land not too long ago. They came into existence shortly after the Element of Harmony. For you see, for every object created there is an equal and opposite rendition of it. And as you are well aware of, Starswirl the Bearded and the Tribes of Old used them to fend of evil from the land as Celestia and Luna were too young at the time to handle. As the Royal Sisters came of age Clover the Clever, the last of the Tribes of Old, put the Elements back were they had found them all those years ago. Then as the years passed and wars came and gone, a creature of pure chaos came into Equestria-"
"That would have to be Discord right?" asked the hooded pony.
"Damit let me finish my story!" yelled Stainless.
"Sorry, please continue."
"Where was I... Oh yeah. As this creature of pure chaos entered Equestria, the Royal Sisters couldn't defeat him on their own. So they once again called upon the Elements once more. This time with the awesome power of the Elements they defeated him and he turned into stone. It was after this, Celestia order the Elements be placed in the main hall of their castle." he was once again interrupted by the cloaked pony.
"For a story about the Elements of Cacophony, it really doesn't say much about them does it Trixie?"
"W-what... Uh yeah sure."
"WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP INTERRUPTING ME, I'M TRYING TO TELL YOU WHAT THEY DO AND HOW THEY WERE CREATED! Ahem. Now that you so desperately want to know how they were made I'll skip to were they were created. For you see, they already existed. Since the Elements of Harmony were so strong they hindered the growth of the tree that's why it looks as if it's dying. As the legend has it it was documented by a pony from Ponyville in the days of its founding. From the Lost Journal of Crazy Steam Betty she wrote 'I saw a dying tree in the middle of the Everfree Forest. As I tried to get closer the weaker I got. I only made it about five meters away before I felt like I was going die. As the entrees continue she went deeper into madness. 'Day 174 and I see the future of Equestria. A Great War is to be fought, a weapon of Mass Destruction, a metal building underground, a bairn Wasteland... All lies upon one of powerful magic, one that is yet to be born. A duel of Magic by a Unicorn and an Alicorn... My life force is depleted as this are my final words. If this book is found give this to the princesses in the Canterlot. It is imperative that this gets there immediately.' As this book was found by one of my ancestors it was pasted down generation after generation, because on pony would take the book to the Princesses. So that is why many to believe it to be a legend, but a certain Princess wanted to see what all the concern was about the tree in the story. So she took her bodyguards into the forest to find the tree. But what she found was a filly crying where the tree should have stood." he was Interrupted once more.
"So let me get this straight. Your family was in possession of a legendary book that lead to this tree, and since no pony would give it to the Princesses they kept it and now you have it." the cloaked figure summarized.
"That does sum up what I just said."
"And that part about the Princess?" the figure asked
"I was about to get to that. That Princess was Luna. She was then consumed by the essence of the tree and became Nightmare Moon. She then slaughtered her bodyguards and made her back to the castle. It then took two day for Nightmare Moon to come out and attack Celestia, and the rest you should know."
"Ok so that explains that but what are the names of these Elements?" asked Trixie bringing the last of the Elements off of the tree.
"Bring them here and I'll tell you."
She nodded and proceeded to follow his orders. He then levitated the Elements of Cacophony as he named them off.
"This is the Element of Greed, and this one is the Element of Treachery. These two are the Elements of Despair and Deception respectively. That one is the Element of Hatred. The final one is the Element of Black Magic, My personal favorite."
"Why do they look so weird?" asked the cloaked figure.
"And they sound similar." stated Trixie.
"Like I said before, they are made of Dark Magic and they are the complete opposite of those other stones." said Stainless Dusk resenting the Elements of Harmony.
He sat there staring at them for a while, basking in their rays of power. He seemed to be a bit lost in thought as Trixie approached. When she was about to reach for him he yelled at them to get their stuff ready to leave. As Trixie was putting the last of the tools away the hooded one went for the bag the Elements where stashed in. As she approached the bag she levitated the Element of Deception out of the bag and proceeded to look at it. As it came closer to her the darker the stone got. She was eventually startled by his appearance out of nowhere.
"You've got a lot of nerves trying to steal from me Glimmer, as if you want them for yourself... I can see that one calls out to you, I understand you feel...Stronger right about now don't you?" asked Stainless
"If I were to lie about this then I wouldn't get very far now would I?" questioned Glimmer.
"I see you know how to pick your battles, you are right about that I would end you the second you left my sight." responded Stainless.
"So There's three of us and six of the Elements, what do we do about the other three?"
"I have sent out a call for a group of people I know, hopefully they answer my call and if they do meet at his location if we get separated in the forest."
Glimmer received the note and read it over. It read 'If separated meet near the train station in Ponyville'. She understood why it was so vague, so she nodded and walked to Trixie who was finished cleaning up the mess.
"Trixie are you ready or are you still contemplating either you should leave or not?"
"No of course not Trixie is never scared of some..."
"'Of some' what Trixie?!"
"Of some payback."
This reassured Glimmer and they walked out of the cave together. After walking a while Glimmer realized something that could spoil the plans they have for the initial attack.
"Oh shit. What if Celestia has a premonition about it like what she did for the centaur?"
"Don't worry about that I've cloaked these stones so not even the most powerful being could detect them."

It was closing time for Sugar Cube Corner and the last of the customers had left for home. Pinkie Pie always said goodbye to all of the customers as they left the store. It pleased her to see their smiling faces as the went to go do the next item of their day. Mr. Cake came out to inspect the work Pinkie had done and saw that she had cleaned the entire bakery. He always liked Pinkie's help around the bakery. She made it easier for the Cakes to care for both the bakery and their foals. She was heading for her room when she had one, a Pinkie Sense, and it was a doozy. It was bigger than the one she had for Twilight. Within a blink of an eye she was in front of Twilight's Castle. She eventually made it to the door where it sounded like she was knocking like a woodpecker. Very groggy Spike answered the door, she picked him up the second the door.
"Where is Twilight?!" Pinkie asked frantically.
"Uh...she might be in the Map Room looking over some things on the map, but that was hours ago. Also you woke me up." Spike said sternly.
"Sorry Spike but this is important. I had another doozy of a Pinkie Sense, and I feel that it might change the reality of time and space as we know it!" yelled Pinkie.
"Ok, then we better find Twilight and tell her what you, ah, sense." said Spike.
The two of them wondered around until they found her in the kitchen fixing a late night snack. She was caught with some food in her mouth. She was confused to why exactly Pinkie was in the castle at such a late hour or why she was holding Spike like a teddy bear. When she swallowed her food, she was interrupted by Pinkie yelling about her Pinkie Sense and how it was a doozy even bigger than the on for her.
"Ok Pinkie say that again and this time say it to where everypony here can understand what you are saying."
"Twilight you need to open your ears. I said that there's something that's coming and will destroy all of Equestria!"

"We finally have what we need?" asked Trixie.
"Yes we now have the other bearers and now we head for Canterlot."
"Why now?"
"Because the Night guards are joining us in our attack on the Castle."
"But there's still day out how are we-"
"We teleport there."
"Ok then and the others?"
"They will meet us there."
