Pony Kombat X

Millions of years ago, Tirek, one of the Elder Gods, turned on his fellow deities and invaded Equestria. Celestia and the Elder Gods stopped Tirek, and locked him up in the Everfree Forest. Others followed in Tirek's hoofsteps, like Tartarus's Empress, Nightmare Moon, who was obsessed with conquering Equestria. So Celestia convinced the Elder Gods to enact a Pony Kombat tournament, as a way to even the odds, and give Equestria a chance. For generations, Nightmare Moon followed the Elder Gods' rules. The war moved to the arena, where she sent her toughest fighters to fight Celestia's greatest defenders in Pony Kombat. Two years ago, we beat her. But Nightmare Moon wasn't ready to lose. She violated the rules of Pony Kombat and invaded Equestria. Most of Equestria's defenders, our friends, were killed, turned into evil, undead warriors. Despite the odds, we stopped Nightmare Moon's invasion. As punishment, the Elder Gods destroyed her. We thought the long nightmare was over, but it turns out Tirek was manipulating events. Nightmare Moon's invasion. Her death. All part of Tirek's plan to escape the Everfree Forest and resume his war on the Elder Gods.
