Whirlwind is trying to adjust to having one arm.
Amber, her best friend and kind of girlfriend?, helps her with her physical therapy.
She has experimented with her. She doesn't really know what to make of "them." If there really is a "them".
She struts around the house in her underwear.
"Do you still love your man?" Amber
Whirlwind "What? Prism, no way. Not love love."
"Any phantom sensations?"

Amber helps Wind take off her top. She runs soothing lotion on her back overt her muscles.
"Do you miss flying?"
That gets a tear. "Yeah."
Hugs. Tight teary hugs.
"I don't need therapy. I need snuggles."
"Then come snug."
They hug.
Wind. "What’s wrong? You’re usually not this quiet. Or shaky."
Amber "I’m not used to being the….. "not forward" one. This is new for me."
Whirlwind chuckles and snuggles closer to Amber.
Amber smiles, stroking the feathers on her shoulder.
Whirlwind "This is nice."
Amber nods. Then she gets a kind of sexy idea.
"Ya know, you don't have to keep your shirt on." Amber
"I... don't. Dummy."
"That's what you should say to me."
Oh. Oh okay I get it now.
"You don't have to... keep your shirt on."
"Oh thank you." Off it goes.
They make out, smooch, touch each other, pillow talk, grind, dry hump and give snuggies.
They don't go too far. They don't want to.
"This is nice."
"Amber?"
"Hmm?"
"Are... are we a... thing?"
Amber sits up. "Do you want to be?"
"Umm... I don't know. I haven't really made up my mind."
"That's okay. Till then, we'll canoodle."
She snuggles into her neck. "I like that."
They stay there on the couch. "We should invite Prism for this."
Whirlwind laughs. "Yeah and we'll take you swimming next."
"Ugh barf."
