Cheese Pie
Familiar New Surroundings
Previous ChapterI had began to consider moving to Ponyville. I had the bits to make the move. After a few weeks of debate, I packed my things and bought a new house in Ponyville. It was relatively close to the castle, so I could visit Pinkie whenever I liked. It was nice being so close to her, in case she needed me. I settled in, made acquaintances with my neighbors, and got to know my way around town. I was trotting along one day and found that grey mare again with the stallion. I trotted over and said hello. Derpy and Doc were headed to Sugar Cube Cornor for a bit and I decided to go with them, since that was my destination anyways. We chatted as we walked, and Doc had pulled me over to the side and asked about the party for Derpy.
"Oh right, I got ya covered! It'll be here at Sugar Cube Cornor. I was actually coming here for that reason. Pinkie and I were gonna discuss what to do for the party. Say, why are you so interested in throwing this mare a party anyways, since you two have, quite nervously and suspiciously, told me you two were not a thing?" I asked, nearly joking with him. He looked like he was frustrated, yet nervous at the same time.
"N-no reason. I just wanted to-" I stopped him mid sentence.
"I know exactly how you feel. I'm going through the same thing with Pinkie Pie. I know it's hard, but..." I stopped as well, noticing Pinkie and Derpy holding a conversation. For some reason, seeing her in her little pink apron made my heart fly! Doc was staring at Derpy, and I quickly nudged him, nearly scaring him.
"Good Gallifrey! You nearly gave me a double heart attack!"
I tilted my head in confusion. Maybe it was a British pony thing or something. I shrugged it off and asked him, "You like her don't ya?"
He sighed and nodded. "More than all the universes combined. She's all that I can think of, and with us living together in my house, it's gotten harder not to tell her. I've kept myself at bay, but...it is hard to not let go of your feelings for others. You understand what I'm saying?"
I nodded and continued about how I felt about Pinkie. It felt good to let it all out of my systems to somepony. Boneless isn't much of a talker, and I didn't have anypony else to chat to about this. "I guess all I can say to you now is good luck with your Ditzy Doo."
"Thank you, and good luck with Pinkie Pie, Cheese. Thanks for the chat, it helps knowing I'm not alone in this struggle."
We extanged grins and trotted inside.
