Chapters The morning came all too quickly. The sun shone brightly through the window and assaulted my poor eyes. I groaned audibly as I rolled over in an attempt to avoid the sunlight's brutal assault. I couldn't stay in the dream world, sadly. As my eyes finally opened, I took notice of something pink in front of me. For whatever reason, it terrified me. As soon as my brain fully registered that something pink was hanging in front of my face, something I didn't recognize, I closed my eyes, jumped backwards, and screamed... screamed the most girly of girly screams I have ever heard in my entire life. I was surprised nobody came running into the room to make sure I was ok.

I jumped backwards into the wall behind me. When I opened my eyes, I noticed the pink whatever was still hanging in front of me, moving as if caught in a light breeze. It took me a little bit, but I eventually calmed down after figuring out that whatever it was meant me no harm. I wanted it off of my head, however, so I reached up and froze. What had happened to my hand? What I saw in front of me wasn't a hand, it wasn't colored correctly. Confused, I moved it around a little bit just to confirm that it had, in fact, taken the place of my hand. I couldn't feel my fingers, so there was no way I was holding this thing. Curious, I raised my other hand to get the exact same result.
My mind quickly drifted back to this pink thing on my head. I reached up with both stubs and clasped the pink stuff in between both. I pulled on it gently, expecting to slide off with ease. When I was met with resistance, I opted to force it off, and pulled as hard as I could.
"Ow!" I yelled as pain shot through my head.
Whatever it was had itself dug into my head pretty well. I was done being nice at this point. Whatever was on my head was coming off, one way or another. After a couple of attempts of shaking it off my head, and making myself dizzy in the process, I had decided to hit it off. I raised my right stub and punched at whatever was up there. I was met only with air. I the slid my right stub across the whole front of my head, only to be met with air once again.
"Damn, this thing is small," I thought to myself.
Then came the punch. In hindsight, punching myself in the head probably wasn't the best of ideas regardless of the situation. Whatever, I'd only given myself a slight headache... easily dealt with. Anyway, I had given up on getting whatever was on my head off, and decided to go see if I could figure out what it was by looking at the full body mirror on the bedroom door. After all, something pink like that should contrast enough against my blonde hair for me to see it, right?
The mirror would have to wait. While going to the edge of my bed, I noticed my body had gotten smaller... many feet smaller. I was actually about as a big as my pillow if you can believe it. How I had not taken notice of my new size before, I can't answer. That's not all, though. I had also taken notice of my inability to sit upright when I fell forwards while trying to do so.
"Alright, what the buck-" I said, stopping myself after the last word.
Why did I just say "buck" when I meant... well, nevermind that. So many things ran through my head as I tried to come up with an answer.
"'What the buck', 'What the buck'," I said silently to myself, "Where have I heard that before?".
My thoughts kept going back to one thing: a very popular TV show titled "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". It only made sense that I would think about a show where the main characters were creatures that bucked for many reasons... wait a second. I've shrunk, can't sit upright, my hands are light blue stubs... no way... it's just not possible. I pushed myself and looked at the rest of my body, only to find that I was indeed a really small quadruped... a really small blue pony.
"How the hay-" I said, stopping again after the last word.
Ok, so I was now a pony, this much was obvious, but why was I using pony puns without giving them any thought? Also, why did my brain have to be so slow at catching things this morning? I'd only just now, while not even saying anything, that my voice had also changed. Not only was I a small, blue pony, but I also sounded like a little girl. I guess maybe I was trying to process too much at once, and it had slowed my brain down a ton. Whatever the reason, I had finally noticed that my voice was also different.
Oh right, the mirror. Yep, my brain was slow this morning... sorry. I had attempted to walk to the edge of the bed, but it was difficult. You'd think that walking on four legs would be easier than walking on two, but you couldn't be more wrong. I guess maybe because I wasn't to walking on four legs, I can't say for sure. Anyway, as I reached the edge of the bed, I peaked over to see the huge drop... well, huge for me considering my current size. Desiring badly to get down, I pushed with both of my front legs... wow, that feels weird to say. Anyway, after I pushed, I plummeted.
Another discovery was made as I fell. Something stretched out from my sides. I guessed they were wings... after all, what else would be stretching out from my sides like that? My thoughts were soon interrupted by my face meeting the hardwood floor. I guessed that being so small amplified the pain because it hurt more than I'd expected. Then again, perhaps the immense pain was due to the muzzle I had being forced into the rest of my skull. Either way, it hurt. Try as I might not to, I cried. I couldn't stop the tears rolling down my face, I couldn't stop the noise I was making, but I didn't care anymore. I could only focus on the pain. My crying was so loud that I didn't even hear the door open.
I cried for what felt like an eternity before I felt something wrap around my new, tiny body. My crying turned to a soft sobbing as I felt something brush my mane. Whatever was holding me was familiar somehow, but I couldn't quite place it at the time. All I knew was that I was being held by something and it made me feel safe. This creature had a soothing scent as well, something I would never have known about had it not been for my heightened pony senses. It also spoke softly, furthering my feeling of safety within it's grip. It felt... motherly.
I dared to look up at the creature holding me to see that it was, in fact, my mother. She was still human, by the way. For some reason, she didn't seem to be disturbed by my suddenly being a tiny pony. Did she even realize it was me? Probably not. She loves animals, so I figured she just wanted to help an obviously injured animal.
"Feeling better already, huh?" My mother asked softly.
I said nothing, but instead opted to just nod. Strange, she didn't seem to be confused about a tiny pony nodding like that. I had obviously displayed some sign of sentience, yet it didn't seem to bother her. As long as she held me like this and continued to make me feel safe, though, I could care less about anything else.
My comfort was, sadly, short lived. As I was eventually laid down on a very soft surface. I looked up at my mother, and she just smiled as she continued to run her hand through my mane. Within about a minute, my presence had attracted the attention of everybody else in the room. The first to notice me was my younger cousin who was, only seconds prior, playing games on my Xbox. Before he started talking, I had never been called cute. I guess it's to be expected when you're a pony the size of a small pillow.
"Can I hold it?" My cousin asked.
"No offence, but I don't really feel like being held by everybody right now," I said, shocking everybody, "Yes, I know, I'm a talking pony. I must admit, you're taking better this than I'd expected".
"If I may be so blunt, animals don't talk," Another of the people, my aunt, said, "So, what are you? And for that matter, where the hell did you come from?".
"Well, if you can't tell what I am, I'm a small, blue pegasus filly," I said, turning slightly and pointing to my tiny wings, "As for where I came from, well I've been here... just, not as a pegasus filly. I was human just yesterday. Don't bother asking what happened, cause I can't answer that".
"Forget what happened to you, I want to know what happened to my son," Mom said, "You can talk, so answer that for me".
"Believe me, dear mother, I would if I could," I said.
"You aren't my son," Mom said.
"No, now I'm your daughter," I retorted.
Without missing a beat, I then started listing off things to prove my identity. When I felt confident that I had convinced them, I stopped and sighed before speaking again.
"Now tell me, if I wasn't your son-turned-daughter, how would I know all that stuff?" I asked.
There was no response as everybody just stayed frozen in place and refused to say anything.
"What? Cat got your tongues?" I asked.
"I, uh... um... well... I... how... what!?" Mom stuttered.
"Like I said, I'm not sure how it happened," I said, "I just know that it did, and I'm now stuck in a the body of a blank flank pegasus filly".
Silence once again... and it was starting to get on my nerves at this point.
"Alright, I can understand you guys being shocked and surprised, but can you snap out of it already?" I asked, "I'm going to need you guys to help in order to adapt as easy as possible".
"Um... well... alright, I... I guess," Mom said.
Now there's the caring mother I so desperately needed at the moment.
"And do we have anything to eat?" I asked, "I'm kind of hungry and I haven't really had the chance to get any food yet".
"Oh, right... of course," Mom said, getting up, "I uh... I'll be right with... something".
And so there I was, left on the couch. With my previous experience earlier, I didn't exactly want to try getting off by myself. The cough wasn't as high off the ground as my bed, but a fall like that would still hurt since I'm now quite young. I didn't have to sit there much longer, however, as my cousin soon scooped me up and damn near strangled me to death. He didn't seem to understand that I needed to breathe just like him in order to live. I had to get away.
I hated to hurt the kid, and, as already stated, wasn't exactly a fan of heights, but I had no choice. My face couldn't turn any more blue than it already was. I do know the kid has a mental disability, but that doesn't really excuse asphyxiating me. I did the only thing I could think of, and bit him. I wasn't strong enough to any real harm, but he certainly felt it.
I really hope falling on my head wasn't going to become a reoccurring issue, because it really hurt. I didn't even bother to try getting up as tears formed, once again, in my eyes as I started to cry from the pain for the second time in about half an hour.
I was, once again, scooped up into the familiar comfort of my mothers arms before long. After I'd calmed down, I opened my eyes to see that I was back on the bucking couch... wonderful. And to make matters even more unpleasant, mom didn't seem to understand the whole crying thing. Yes, she was nice enough to pick me up off the floor and comfort me, but then...
"So, want to bother telling me why you keep crying like a baby?" Mom asked, "I get that you're a horse now, though I don't really like it, but you're not in diapers, so man up a little".
"First off, I'm a pony, not a horse," I stated, "Secondly, sorry I'm a filly, or a young female pony if you don't know. I'm young enough that falling like that kind of hurts. And what do fillies my age do when they get hurt? They cry".
"Actually, last time I checked, young horses, or ponies, don't cry regardless," Mom said, "They may feel pain, but they don't cry like a baby like you just did, so man up a little".
"Just because real colts and fillies don't cry like a human baby doesn't mean they don't cry like a baby when they get hurt," I said.
"And since when were you the equine expert?" Mom asked, "I thought you liked wolves".
"Well, yes, I do like wolves still, but I like little cartoon ponies as well," I said, "Kind of started when I first watched 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic' a couple years ago".
"'My Little Pony'? Ok, really?" Mom asked, "You do know that show is-".
"Originally just for little girls, yes I know," I said, "But we've gotten slightly off topic. Point is, I'm a filly, and my brain reacts in different ways as such to compensate for my new body and age. When I feel pain, I'm going to cry simply because that's just what fillies my age do when they get hurt. I'm sorry if you don't like it".
Mom went silent, and I could tell she was thinking about what I'd just said. I could almost see the gears turning as I sat there, waiting for her to say something.
"So, tell me, did you somehow do this to yourself because you wanted to be a girl?" Mom asked.
"Actually, I'd much rather be a colt in this case," I said, "Or well, I'd really rather be a stallion, but that's not how life works. Point is, I don't want to be a girl of ANY species".
"Then why?" Mom asked.
"You really do think I had a choice, don't you?" I asked, "I just told you I don't want to be female, so why would I be one if I had a choice to not be? Also, being a pegasus pony is neat and all, but I'd rather be in Equestria with this body, not here in this world where I'm not even supposed to exist now".
"Well, things like this don't just happen," Mom said.
"Well, obviously they do," I retorted, "Now, can we change the subject already and maybe have you help me get used to this? Perhaps we could start with food?".
Yea, sure... here," Mom said, sounding irritated, as she held out a very juicy looking apple.
Without even thinking, I wrapped my forelegs around the apple and pulled it away. I may be a pony, but there is no way in Tartarus that I would eat out of anyone's hand. I had underestimated my power, however, and ended up on my back within seconds of pulling backwards. I didn't care, though. I took one bite, and was rewarded with a wonderful flavor explosion. Apples had never before tasted so amazing, but hey... I'm a pony now, so I guess it makes sense. Within five minutes, all that remained of my small breakfast was the core.
Ok, where the heck am I? I began to look around at my new surroundings, my young brain trying to do it's job properly. You know what, I think it would be very appropriate to ask where in Equestria I am. That's right, I somehow managed to go to Equestria. Don't ask how, it just happened. Sweet Celestia, can anything go right for me today? I woke up as a blue pegasus filly this morning, then I have to deal with my family on this matter, now I blink and... oh wait.
Nevermind, this is obviously where I'm dreaming... or it could be some crazy illuminati, inception style life I now live. Whatever, I can honestly say I'm dreaming this time, and mean it. Do I believe Equestria exists? Yes, I do actually. Do I believe one can travel from world to world by simply blinking? Not one bit. Even teleportation in MLP requires one to concentrate on the spell for it to work. But hey, why waste this great opportunity. Who knows, maybe I can even get some answers if I can find princesses Celestia and Luna in this dream world.
I head downstairs, able to actually walk with ease. Part of blending in with the dream world? Maybe. As I head downstairs, I hear a voice welcome me.
"Good morning, sweetie," The mare said, "You sleep good last night?".
I'm just going to guess that the mare in question is my mother at the moment. I hope to Celestia I'm right.
"I slept pretty good," I said, walking over to the table, "So, what's for breakfast, mom?".
"Blueberry pancakes," The mare said, "Somepony's favorite".
I'm sorry, blueberry pancakes? My favorite? Oh sweet Celestia... NO! Nope! Nein! Nada! I'm actually allergic to blueberries. This is only going to end beautifully... not.
Ok, so never mind my previous nope storm. No wonder this filly likes blueberry pancakes, they're delicious. Well, they are to this filly anyway. I wonder if this means I can eat blueberries IRL now. Maybe, I'll have to remember to try one after I awake.
I yelped when something pulled my wings. My first reaction was to look behind me, and I was rewarded with the sight of a young looking unicorn colt. His horn was lit up, and he had a grin on his face, so it was fairly obvious who had pulled my wings. I wish I could call upon this filly's memories so I could call this colt out by name. Luckily for me, the mare, who I still believe is this filly's mom, called him out for me.
"Shadow Strike, let go of your sister's wings right now," The mare scolded.
Shadow Strike? That's an interesting name for a unicorn. He's also, obviously, my, er this filly's, older brother because he has his cutie mark already. Anyway, he let go like he was told to, but never bothered to apologize.
Knock, knock, knock
Mom (yes, I'll call her that until proven otherwise) got up and walked over to open up the door.
"Sky, a couple of your friends are at the door, waiting for you," Mom said after about a minute.
Was that this filly's name? Sky? Ok, that's good to know. At the very least, I now have a name to go by IRL so I don't have to think of one to fit my new body and personality on my own.
"Sky Orchid, get on over here already," Mom said, "It's rude to keep your friends waiting like this".
Sky Orchid? I was named after a flower? The "Sky" part I can understand, my coat is blue, like the sky, after all. But surely mom didn't expect me to be delicate or a flower girl later on in life. Wait a second, am I really so used to this body that I'm actually already referring to it as my own? Whatever, better go to the door before I get in trouble for being "rude".
I open my eyes to see that I am back in the real world. I don't even have to experiment to tell that I'm still a filly. If my pink mane wasn't a giveaway, the size of the couch and everybody in the room sure was. I believe the dream was there simply to let me know what my name should be. I'll be the first to admit, "Sky Orchid" wouldn't be my ideal first choice, but it was the name of the filly that once owned this body, so I'll keep it for that reason alone. After all, who am I to change the name for this body, even if it's mine now?
"Have a good nap?" Someone asked.
It took me a few seconds to realize my mom, my human mom, was talking to me.
"It was alright," I said, yawning, "I found out my name should now be 'Sky Orchid' by the way".
"I'm sorry, what?" Mom asked, arching an eyebrow.
"In my dream, I, the filly, was called 'Sky Orchid'," I explained, "So that shall be my new name now. Not my ideal name, but it was the filly's name before I somehow obtained her body, so I'll use it".
"No, you won't," Mom said, "I absolutely refuse to call you by the name of a pony from a cartoon for little girls".
"Call me 'Tony' or 'Anthony' if you want," I said, "I won't respond. This may be my body now, but it wasn't before last night, so I'll only go by "Sky" or "Sky Orchid" now to honor the memory of the filly whose body I now control. You don't have to like it, you just have to accept it".
My family is obviously going to take way longer to adapt to this than me, but they don't really have a choice unless they want to put me up for adoption at the local animal shelter... wait, would they do that? Sweet Celestia, I hope not.
How do legs work? Possibly one of the strangest things I'll ever ask aside from "How do wings work". I'll get to figuring out how to work wings later. First, I need to be able to walk on my own two four legs. I decided to start with properly standing, which was a slight challenge, but not too bad. It took maybe five minutes to figure out how to hold myself up on all four legs. Trying to move with them ended up with immediate failure.
"Let me guess, too young to walk on your own?" Mom asked with a snarky tone.
"It's harder than you'd think to go from two legs to four," I said, pushing myself up.
I was kind of glad to be on the couch at the moment, a nice soft cushion to land on while I re-learn to walk.
"How so?" Mom asked with the same snarky tone.
"If you can keep at least one foot planted on the ground, walking on two legs is easy," I explained, "Using four legs takes coordination that I have yet to figure out".
"One leg in front of the other," Mom said, still snarky, "It's not difficult".
"I have to also focus on how I shift my weight so I don't become too front heavy," I explained, "Actually, you know what? You try walking right as a pegasus filly and tell me how fast you do it right".
Right leg, left arm.
Left leg, right arm.
Wait a second, where did that come from? Maybe...
"Right front leg," I say, sticking out my right front leg, "Then my left rear leg".
Ha, I moved, without falling! After taking a couple more steps, I stop and a large grin crosses my muzzle, threatening to cut my face in half. I know, it sounds quite strange for somepony who was a twenty one year old man just one day prior, but I was extremely proud of myself for walking about a foot without falling. Now for a test, time to walk from one end of the couch to the other.
And, I failed that with a big F-. Lost my balance when I tried to actually walk. I know I had already achieved walking victory only a couple of minutes ago, but that was because I was moving one tiny step every couple of seconds. It was like moving in a laggy video game. This time, I had tried to walk in a nice, fluid like, sixty frames per second motion.
Oh look, apple pie. I began to drool at that amazing scent, and my tummy told me to try and get some pie to eat. I had already eaten, so maybe I could have just a little slice. Then again, it was APPLE pie, so maybe they made it just for me since I'm a filly now. Whatever, it's apple pie, and apples are amazing, so this pie should be very amazing cause it's a pie!
"Can uh... can I have a piece?" I asked.
"Last time I checked, pie isn't the safest of things for animals to eat," Mom said, "So... no".
"I'm a pegasus filly from Equestria, a place where ponies can eat a whole chocolate cake safely," I explained, "Surely an apple pie would be alright for me".
"But we're not in Equestria, are we?" Mom asked.
"No, but that shouldn't matter," I said, "Come on, mom. You don't just make an apple pie and tell a filly she can't have any of it, that's just mean".
"I already told you no, so drop it," Mom said.
I never thought I would take this route, but it was time to bring out the cuteness ammo. I really did have no real choice. I called upon my inner Applebloom to look as sad and adorable as possible. After a couple glances my way, I even added in the cutest whimper I could muster. Mom finally caved.
"Alright, fine," Mom said, setting down a plate of apple pie in front of me, "Don't blame me when you end up in a vet's office later".
One tiny little bite was all it took. That one bite had an even bigger flavor explosion than the apple from earlier. I'm small, so my muzzle can't take big ol' bites, so it took me about half an hour, maybe more, to finish my pie. That was the best thing I've eaten in a long time.
Right front leg, rear left leg.
Left front leg, rear right leg.
One slow step at a time, carefully moving forward like in a laggy video game. I kept encouraging myself to get a little faster with every couple of steps. After a few minutes, I could walk. I even tested myself again by walking from one end of the couch to the other. I passed the test this time, and with flying colors at that. Get it? Flying colors because I'm a colorful pegasus? Yea... I'll stop now, sorry for that.
"YES! I DID IT!" I yelled as another large grin spread across my muzzle.
"Um... did what?" Mom asked, "And do tone it down a little bit".
"Sorry," I said, ears splaying back, "But I finally managed to walk from one of this stupid couch to the other without faceplanting even once".
"That's all? Really?" Mom asked, arching an eyebrow.
"Hey, that was a pretty big accomplishment for me just then," I said, kind of ticked off, "Could you possibly let me take a little pride in it at the very least?".
"It's just walking, something you've been doing for years," Mom said in the same snarky tone as earlier.
"You know what?" I asked, "I don't care what you say. You've never let me be proud of ANYTHING I've done in my life, and I'm tired of it! I'm going to be proud of this, and there's nothing you can do to stop me".
"Hey uh... mom, could you possibly help me down?" I asked.
I'd had enough of the couch at this point, and wanted to get down. The problem? It's a big drop and I still don't know how my wings work. I also to be a filly, but mom doesn't seem to understand that.
"I'm not doing everything for you," Mom said.
"Fine, then I'll just try to get down on my own, unavoidably fall on my head, and cry again," I said, "That what you want? Cause I thought you didn't like my crying".
"I just want my son back," Mom said, "My nice, young man who did everything he wanted on his own without relying on me".
"Yea, well that's not going to happen," I said rather bluntly, "For the bajillinth time, I'm a filly now. I don't know how it happened, and I highly doubt it's reversible, so just accept it already".
That only seemed to upset her. Believe me, I don't particularly enjoy being a filly, but oh well. I'm pretty sure that, given some time, I can come to enjoy it. I've already accepted that I won't ever be human again.
And I'm being lifted off the couch all a sudden after I lay down and curl up. Who has decided to save me from the couch? Who is this kind soul? My cousin. Thank Celestia he didn't try to hug me to death... now wouldn't THAT be a way to go? Anyway, he put me down on the floor and then tossed a ball across the room. I think he wanted me to play fetch, but I'm not a dog so that's just not gonna happen.
I decided to try and see if there was something, anything in my room that might help me figure out what happened. After all, that was the last place I had been human. Gonna admit, it was pretty weird hearing my footsteps hoofsteps as I walked.
Looking around my room, I didn't see anything that would tell me what happened to cause this change. I had to improvise to get around to everywhere in the room. I may be a filly, but that doesn't mean I'm stupid. Anyway, even though I couldn't find any clues about what happened to me, I did find a couple things on the nightstand that weren't there before today. What did I find, you ask? A pair of gold beads with really big holes, and a pair of purple bracelets. It was obvious they belonged to this filly before I somehow took over her body, though how they had come to exist in this world, separate from me, I can't say.
I put one bracelet on each front leg just for the heck of it. I figured that's where they went. Where would the beads go, though? Actually, I don't know if they can be called beads because they are rather large. Is there a size limit for beads? Eh, whatever. I walked on over to the door to look in the mirror on the back of said door. Now, I was finally looking at my new body. What I saw was a light blue pegasus with a pink mane and tail, magenta eyes, and two tone wings. What do I mean by two tone wings? It's the strangest thing (then again, what isn't nowadays?). My feathers were a darker shade of blue than the rest of my body. I didn't even think that was possible, but apparently it is.. and it's pretty cool.
I also noticed something about my mane: it was longer in front of my ears than behind them. As I looked over my mane in the mirror, it became apparent where these bead things should go. Only thing about that is I just got these hooves and don't know how to use them like that just yet. I wanted to see what I look like with the beads in my hair, though. Kind of odd how I'm so curious about my hairstyle manestyle now, though perhaps it's just another part of being a filly. Either way, I was really curious about what I'd look like. I highly doubt mom would help me fix up my mane, so who should I ask?
Before thinking about it any further, I focused my attention to my hoof bracelets. I don't know what it was, but they just didn't look right on two separate legs. I took the left one off and put it on the right leg. Still didn't feel right, so I took them off and put both on my left front leg. Ok, that felt a little better, so I decided to go with it.

The bead things open up on the side. To be honest, I thought I'd broken one when I first heard the click... I thought it was a crack instead. Well, I'm still not good enough with my hooves to work with my mane, so I'll still need help. I walked out, mane bead things in my muzzle, and went towards the living room, where everybody else was now. As I entered the scene, all eyes fell upon me.
"What have you got in your mouth?" Mom asked, "And what's around your leg?".
"These are some kind of hair beads I believe," I said, putting the beads down on the floor before lifting up my left front leg, "And these are bracelets. I found this stuff in my room".
"See? You CAN do stuff on your own," Mom said with a snarky tone.
"Give him... er, her a break already," Grandma said, "After all, it's not his fault this happened. Or, sorry... her fault".
"I get that, mom, but that doesn't mean I have to do everything for him," Mom said, "He's been asking me for help with every little thing today, and I know he can do it all himself".
"Would you cut the crap already?" I asked, "I'm seriously tired of it already. What part of 'I'm a filly' don't you understand? I can do ok on my own, but I still need help with a lot of stuff right now. Believe me, I wish I could be more independent, but this body's just too new to me".
"Then get used to it, already," Mom said, "You're not a baby, you don't need somebody to take care of your every need and want".
"I kinda wish you'd actually act like a mother for once," I said, "You've only ever had my back when I do something that YOU want me to do. You've always tried to put me down every time I do something you don't think I should do, and are sour when it actually benefits me. You wanna know a secret? I don't live life by your agenda. Mom didn't say anything in response to that, which I was half glad for in a strange way.
"Alright, now that that's out of my system... could somebody help me clamp these beads on my mane?" I asked, "I'd do it myself, but hooves don't work wonders for dexterity. And if you're wondering why I'm asking this, it's because I'm curious about how I'd look with them in place".
Nobody said anything, but my aunt did come over to actually help me out. Imagine that, somebody who's not my mom is more willing to help me with something that seems mundane than my own mother. It's kinda sad, but oh well... hopefully she'll change her attitude sooner rather than later.
According to my aunt, this particular manestyle made me look cute... I don't much being called cute, though I guess I'll have to get used to it for a while. Regardless, the beads were in, so I walked back to my room to check out what I look like. I'll admit, I do look kind of cute... wow, that was weird to say. Anyway, I do kind of like this style.
