The day was slowly drawing into a close, the sun setting just below the treetops of the Everfree off into the distance. The radiant dying sunbeams dancing across the wood floors of Fluttershy's cottage, as if the sun was bleeding unto the wooden floors. A few miles beyond the borders of Ponyville, getting ready to settle down into a gentle and good night's rest. Though most animals in the Everfree are nocturnal there are still some that inhabit it that still slumber during the night. Small chipmunks that curl into cute little balls of fur, their eyes drifting shut and their tails tucked under them for extra warmth during the cold night. A simple thought and one that had always seemed to put Fluttershy at ease.
Usually it was her that settled the animals near the Everfree down to sleep, many of them sleep at night. Though the fact that not every animal depended on her was somewhat of a relief, yet she still wants to know and protect everyone that she sees and finds. Fluttershy zipped up her sweat shirt, the zipper gliding up her thin riff and finally stopping at the crest of her chest. Under the sweatshirt she wore a nice white T-shirt, the collar a large V neck and wearing worn blue jeans with high top sneakers. She had never worn anything else, except for dresses on rare occasions, usually because she never really wanted to draw extra attention and because she had...larger...breasts than most ponies. Almost immediately the first thing that people notice about her.
Now that she thought about it, she was glad that her career as a model ended. She knew sooner or later Playpony would call her right up and ask her to do a spread. Fluttershy sighed and walked to her door, she stopped and as she was about to open the door she blew on the sconce near the door and the fire slowly blew out with her calm breath. She thought about a trick that Rainbow Dash had taught her, Fluttershy took a deep breath and spreading her wings wide she jumped and with one large flap sent out a gentle wave throughout her house. The wave spreading over every corner and drafting to the upstairs. Blowing out all the candles at once, the natural lighting returning and dimming the inside walls and floors a little bit.
Fluttershy smirked and proceeded to open the door, the cool spring evening air dancing across her face and the nape of her neck. Lifting up the long strands of her bright pink hair that went all the way down to her chest. She combed a hand through her hair in an attempt to straighten it out and keep it combed over like a curtain hiding her face. She shut the door gently behind her and locked it with her key she had grabbed from her jeans pocket. She said in a whispered and gentle tone, "Good night."
All of her animals were sleeping and she did not want to wake them, especially Angel. Angel was an animal not to be trifled with if his sleep is interrupted, she did that once and she was reminded that bunnies have claws. She rubbed her forearm beneath her sleeve, remembering the scars that came from that night. Fluttershy stopped in her tracks as she began to think about Angel again. Despite all of his bad habits and all of his anger, Angel was a nice bunny. Fluttershy felt her closed eyes tug and a warm droplet leaked out of her closed iris and moved down her cheek. Angel left that night she had woken him, lonely and cold he jumped out the door and so far has not returned.
Fluttershy looked to the Everfree forest and opened her eyes, sniffling to try and control her tears she said, "It was nice to know you...Angel."
She wiped her eyes clean of her tears, reminding herself that she shed enough tears that night that Angel left. She continued on her way, praying to the goddesses that the mood would be different when she made it to the spa.
On the contrary to popular belief, the Ponyville Spa was open almost twenty four hours a day. Aloe and Lotus kept a good schedule for anypony that wanted to unwind and relax, despite the hour of the day. Often times having specials depending on the hours. At night, the lotions are rotated and changed with specific herbal remedies that would often bloom at the end of the day. It was very odd but Fluttershy was not one to judge or complain, Fluttershy and Rarity always had their special treatment there considering that they were regulars. "The Diamond and Butterfly Special" it was called, a pedicure and manicure, followed by a mud bath, proceeding to a nice massage, after that a good sit in a steam room, and finishing it all off with a nice relaxing soak in the largest tub that the Spa has to offer. It was not exactly expensive but Fluttershy was always willing to pay for half of the expenses and she always did. Which pales in comparison to the generosity that Rarity illuminates.
Rarity has always been such a good friend of hers, ever since they were fillies. Fluttershy shoved her hands in her sweatshirt pockets as she continued on her way, reminiscing the old days with Rarity. Every time Fluttershy needed help or even if she never asked it, Rarity was never far away. She was never in a hurry or envious, she was always happy with what she had. She had grown into a very beautiful woman, well that's not to say that Rarity was never beautiful but now that they were older Fluttershy could say without a doubt that she was the epitome of beauty. A nice lean and perfect hourglass shape with well toned legs and nice rounded breasts. Meanwhile Fluttershy was in between skinny and pudgy. She had fat in some areas, more than she would care to admit in her ass and thighs. They were not overly fat, just plump and carried more weight than a normal pony's.
Fluttershy sighed as her mind wandered to her, yet again, envying her best friend. Why could Fluttershy not be as beautiful as Rarity? How come Fluttershy always walked in her shadow? Granted she did nothing to fix these things and still she hoped for change. She was so conflicted and it all happened when they shaped into the women they were today. It did not matter how many beauty stops or spa visits she did or went to, she could never match Rarity's beauty or class. Much to her discontent. But if Rarity was here she would likely tell Fluttershy to accept who she was and be happy with the beauty she has. And that is one of the many reason's Fluttershy deeply loved her. Not like a best friend would love a best friend, like an infatuation.
But it never carried like it when they were around each other, there was just something about Rarity that made Fluttershy come out of her shell. The way she talked, the way that her hips moved as she walked, her smile, her perfect eyes. Her heart just raced every time she saw her.
Fluttershy shook her thoughts away and looked up and saw that she had arrived at Ponyville Spa. The large pastel colored building always fresh and imprinted in her mind. Blue and a cool grey accenting each other on the outside and an equally inviting interior. Fluttershy did as Twilight had taught her to do and took in a few calmed breaths to try and calm her heart beat and nervousness. Despite not being licensed, Twilight was a very good psychiatrist. Fluttershy would get together with Twilight every Saturday and Fluttershy would just talk her problems to Twilight and Twilight would give insight and suggestions on ways to help her fix her problems. While Fluttershy was hesitant at first, hearing that it never really worked, she eventually joined in and Fluttershy found that she was much more calm and not as timid as before.
Fluttershy saw into the pure glass door, the Spa had gone under some cosmetic changes in between visits and Fluttershy was somewhat excited to see the new inside. It had raised in popularity and their sponsors decided to increase the land value of where it was resting, allowing Aloe and Lotus a larger budget to spend to make some much needed upgrades. Fluttershy was happy for them and wanted to see the Spa Twins again.
She pushed the door open and was greeted by a large open waiting room with warm light from various spaced out fixtures. New tile flooring and wider spacing for the rooms it seems. Fluttershy drank in the warm and inviting colors of it all and a warm smile came across her face. She walked up to a desk facing the door and saw a new face sitting there. Usually Aloe or Lotus were there, sometimes even both. But instead she saw a small and petite mare with nice rounded features and big aqua blue eyes. She looked like a pegasus with her wings sticking out of her shirt and folded on her back, resting on her bright blue uniform. A cool aqua color for her shirt to match her eyes and a white apron. Her skin was a light cucumber green and her mane and tail were a bright shade of yellow. She seemed to be busy typing something on the computer in front of her, the screen reflecting off of the lens of her thick black rimmed glasses.
Fluttershy stepped up to the desk and waited for the pony to acknowledge her existence. She just heard the very slow sound of her typing on the keyboard. Fluttershy coughed causing the poor mare to jump and nearly have a heart attack. She flung the mouse in the air and desperately fumbled as she tried to catch the mouse, juggling it between her hands. While it was still fumbling out of her hands she said desperately, "Hold on a second mam! I will be with you in a second!"
The mouse finally fell to the floor and Fluttershy cringed as she heard the mouse break into a few large pieces. The mare cursed herself, "Damn it Lily! Why can't you do anything right you klutz!"
The mare known as Lily bent over in her chair to pick up the pieces, not knowing that it was still plugged into the keyboard and the computer came crashing down to the floor. Fluttershy breathed out heavily as she knew that was not very good. Lily shouted still bent over, "Shit!"
She sat up quickly and smashed her head into the bottom of the desk, a groan exiting her mouth as she did so. She came up rubbing the back of her head. Lily had her face a deep shade of red as she opened her arms and said, "Welcome to Ponyville Spa! Where everypony is treated with tender glands and great fair...wait, that's not right...let me start again...Welcome to Ponyville Spa! Where everypony is treated with tender hands and great care!"
She lowered her arms and rubbed one and said, "I...I'm sorry you had to see that."
She had a warm beaming smile despite the fact that the computer screen slowly fell from the desk and came crashing down next to the smashed keyboard and mouse, taking the hardware with it. She started to sweat and her smile grew wider as she tried to hide the mess behind her, hoping to make sure that nopony could see it and hoping that Fluttershy would forget what she saw. Fluttershy smiled and in her quiet and timid voice she said, "That is...fine...miss uh?"
Lily kept her ten mile smile until she realized after a few seconds that Fluttershy asked her name and answered promptly, "Oh! My name is Lily Spring, everypony usually just calls me Lily though! You can call me whatever you want!..."
Her eyes darted about the room, much like Pinkie after she drank a double espresso. Fluttershy raised a finger, "Um...have you...did...did a mare by the name of Rarity stop by any chance?"
Lily gave a bright warm smile, "Hold on a second miss, let me look that up for you!"
Lily went to type where the computer used to be and her eyes slowly drifted open with disgust written all over her face, despite still keeping the wide smile. All emotion drained from her face as she said, "Wait...I can't...the computer is...um...under repairs..."
Lily dismissed the computer and said with a ghost of a smile, "Well...I don't...think that a mare came by with that name..."
Lily scratched the top of her head and thought had for a second. Her sleeves were rolled passed her elbows and she said, "If you are here wanting a massage then you would have to kindly wait a few minutes, Aloe and Lotus are on their way back with supplies."
So they trusted her with keeping the place under tabs? Fluttershy was surprised that the entire place was not in flames. Speaking of which, she caught a whiff of what she thought was smoke and said out loud, "Is something burning?"
Lily's smile died and she spun around and grabbed the sides of her head, holding large clumps of her hair as she screamed, "How the hell is that even possible!?"
Fluttershy watched as she fumbled her apron off of her body and began to pat down the fire, only to have the apron catch on fire. Lily suppressed a scream and dropping the slowly consumed apron to the floor Lily sprinted off and yelled hysterically, "I have this all under control!!!"
After about a few seconds of sifting loudly through a closet near by she had a fire extinguisher in her hands and sprinted back behind the desk and pointing the nozzle directly at the burning apron and computer and squeezing tight the grip and white foam shot out of the nozzle and consumed the fire. Fluttershy looked at the mare who was breathing heavily, soot covering her face and some of her shirt and she gave a weak smile as she saw Fluttershy.
Fluttershy said stepping towards the door a little bit, "I think maybe I should come back later."
Lily's eyes grew wide and she climbed to the top of the desk and threw her hand out, knocking a mug full of pens through the air and having it sail across the room and finally crash into large porcelain shards as it made contact with the floor. She said desperately as her hand flew out, "Wait!...I-um...please...d-don't leave just yet."
Lily climbed back down and nearly slipped as her feet hit the ground and she sprinted off and knelt down and began picking up the pens that had spilled on the floor. She said as she picked up the pens, "I...um...I don't have enough experience to give a massage but I can do something else?"
Fluttershy said, "No, it's fine...I should really wait for-"
Lily turned and a few pens flung from her tight grip she had on them and she said with large eyes, "Please!...please...it's-it's my third day on the job and I already have done enough property damage to suspend my paycheck for nearly two weeks! Please...just let me help in any way I can."
Fluttershy thought for a second and realized that Lily grabbed her shoulders tightly and Fluttershy squeaked as the sudden personal contact. Lily blushed and shoved the pens in her pockets and before Fluttershy could answer, thank Celestia, Rarity walked in saying, "Sorry I am late darling I had-oh dear, it looks as if this place has been plundered by bandits."
Rarity looked and saw Lily as the young mare said, "Oh this is nothing you should really see what I did to the plumbing in the men's bathroom...I-ugh-I did not do it intentionally...ignore what I just said...I-um-I mean Welcome to Ponyville Spa where everypony is treated with tender hands and great care!"
She threw her hands up and as her hands flew up a light fixture broke partially, now hanging by one cord, causing the lighting of the room to dim slightly. Lily lowered her arms and said, "I-um-I can fix that, but before I do that what can I do for you lovely mares?"
Fluttershy looked over at Rarity and Rarity mouthed the words, "Wow."
Fluttershy suppressed a giggle and turned to Lily and said, "Well...since we can't get the usual I guess we'll just have a soak."
Lily smiled and said, "A great choice! I will go draw the water and-"
"NO!" Fluttershy blurted out, "Ahem...I mean um...we'll take care of that, you just go get the soap and we'll take care of drawing the water."
"What kind of soap do you-"
"Whatever one you can find...um please."
Lily saluted and said, "Right away!"
Lily sprinted off and for once she did not trip or stumble, going off and rounding a corner. She seemed like a very nice mare but she was just so unlucky and clumsy, almost like a very big puppy. Fluttershy pressed two fingers to the bridge of her nose and Rarity said joining next to her yellow friend, "Is it really that bad?"
Fluttershy answered lowering her hand and looking at Rarity, "The computer spontaneously combusted."
"Wow...that's pretty bad."

"Here is your soap!" Lily came in, surprisingly calm and collected. Rarity had never seen a mare so clumsy and klutzy before. Ditzy was more collected than she was. And Rarity did not just say that for comedic effect.
Fluttershy answered, "Thank you Lily, that will be all for now."
"If you need anything just holler!"
Lily shut the door behind her and Rarity looked over as Fluttershy released a sigh of relief. Rarity said, "I'm not even going to ask because I don't want to know."
If Fluttershy was slightly irritated then it must have been bad. Usually Fluttershy was just timid and hid most of her emotions, which Rarity was fine with but it did not help in certain situations. They had slipped into the cotton robes that had a familiar feel to them, the soft fabric caressing her warm naked skin. She spun the faucet to the bath shut, the flowing water slowly drawing to a stop. The tile flooring beneath her feet was cold, compared to the steam that came from the warm bath water. Already the steam collected into a cloud above their heads. Rarity looked at the soap that was handed to her, the label read, 'Red Rose and White Lotus'. She was not familiar with the brand, she opened the lid and took in a quick whiff. Her nostrils filled with an assortment of scented flowers.
Rarity cooed, "Darling this soap smells divine!"
Rarity handed it over to Fluttershy who smelled it and a warm smile spread across her face and returned, "Wow...that does smell pretty good!"
She held the soap over the tub big enough for four people and squeezed the bottle, watching as soap leaked from the bottle. It mixed in the water and slowly started to take form, bubbles already starting to sprout from nowhere. And filling the room with that familiar scent. Rarity took in another smell and finally rested the bottle nearby. While Rarity was slightly disappointed that she could not get the usual package at the spa. Rarity looked to her friend and nodded as she turned facing away from Fluttershy.
Fluttershy never wanted to show her body to anypony else other than the person that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Rarity could respect that and could understand where she came from, Rarity had somewhat of a similar commitment. But she knew who she could trust with seeing her naked, and Fluttershy was one of them. It's not that Rarity was comfortable showing only her skin to another pony but she needed to swallow her pride every time she went into the soak with Fluttershy.
Rarity heard the breach of water and took it as a sign that Fluttershy was in the bath. Rarity turned and saw Fluttershy sitting in the tub waiting for her friend to join her, with wide sky blue eyes staring up at her. Rarity blushed a little bit as she untied the cord and let the robe fall off of her shoulders, her pure white skin and all of its glory now revealed to Fluttershy. Who promptly turned her head as the robe came off. Rarity had a slight blush on her cheeks and she noticed so did Fluttershy. Rarity then stood at the end of the tub and lifted her foot hesitantly. It submerged under the soapy water and cooled her cold foot. She stepped into the tub and felt as the soothing warm water caressed the skin from her toes to her shoulders. A satisfied sigh coming from her mouth as it worked wonders on her stressful muscles.
The water seemed to hug tight against her, a warm embrace and one that Rarity could be used to. Like the warmth from a motherly hug. While there was a stark difference between a soak at a spa and a bathe in the tub they have similar feelings. The only difference however between the current time and past soaks was she felt warmer than usual. It was not an uncomfortable feeling but it was the exact opposite. The fact that she was getting heated while sharing a bath with Fluttershy seemed like it should be a cardinal sin. But from the looks of things, Fluttershy seemed to be in the same situation.
Trying to alleviate their minds from their heat Fluttershy asked, "So...um...why did you want to do this so late?"
"Oh," The thought dawning on Rarity again what she wanted to talk to Fluttershy about, "Well, I have heard that Roseluck is having "rendezvous" with Daisy."
"Really?" Fluttershy asked in surprise, "I never thought them the type."
Rarity shrugged, "Neither did I, but do not quote me on that, I am only going off of another pony's word."
Minutes of silence pursued and the heat seemed to rise, not the bath but their personal heat. Hoping that the layer of soap above the surface of the water was enough to conceal, Rarity crossed her legs and clenched her muscles tight to try and do something about the heat. But it seemed like a lost cause as it fell and then rose again. She swallowed hard and Rarity asked, "So...has Angel come back?"
The question seemed to make Fluttershy sad, more sad than she looked. Hiding behind her hair she answered, "I-I-no."
Rarity said apologetically, "I'm sorry darling, I never intended to open a closed wound."
Her face was beating red as she said, "N-no It-it's fine...really..."
Using every fibre of her will to resist she continued, "I-I'm sure he'll turn up soon...is it just me or is it hot in here?"
She fanned herself and Fluttershy answered, "N-no I know-I know what you mean..."
Fluttershy's voice trailed off and let a low toned moan escape her mouth. Rarity pretended like she did not hear that and before she could say something Fluttershy interrupted her thought, "Rarity..."
Rarity reclined trying to ignore the boiling sensation in her lower extremities. She said, "Yes darling? What's the matter?"
There seemed to be something troubling her and it was read all over her face. Fluttershy blushed and combed her fingers through her hair as she asked in an uncomfortable tone, "I-I have no idea...where to...start but um...are you dating anypony?"

But, I need to break the norm and write something that is not about Rarity or involves Rarity (at least directly). Don't you worry none, I have a fic on the way that will not directly involve Rarity. My shot at writing comedy and improving my clop writing.

There comes a time in anypony's life where they just feel like the unluckiest pony alive. Except for Lily Springs, perhaps the most unluckiest mare alive. It seemed to be her special talent, messing things up and dropping everything. She was branded as unreliable and untrainable. It was not her fault, she was just very unlucky. She tried to explain that so many times to her employers but they just never seemed to understand. Each time they pointed their finger to the door and yelled, "You're fired!"
Lily stopped sifting through the soaps and let her gaze fall down as she remembered all of the hurtful words that were thrown at her sometimes. Keeping her gaze to the floor she whispered, "Don't worry Lily, that's all in the past now."
It however did not stop the feelings from hurting every time she saw them in public, that unwelcoming stare of discomfort and hatred that never seemed to falter from their face. She was already up to her neck in debt from all of the stuff she has broken, not even having it all paid off. She needed to find some place where it was alright to screw up.
Lily brightened up as she said out loud, "Like a construction site!...no too much machinery that could end up hurting somepony very badly...what about a desk job? A nice secretary?..."
That thought quickly died as she heard the computer spark in the other room. Not cut out for that either.
She picked up the soaps and decided that the one she first picked up would be good. Besides, it sounded very pleasant. "Red Rose and White Lotus Soap", if that does not sound pleasant then she does not know what does. She put the other bottles back where they belonged and went to step away and as she predicted, an entire row of soap came crashing to the floor. She knew it would happen, she saw it play out in her mind. Did she do anything to stop it? No. Could she do anything to stop it? As much as she wanted to, no she could not. She tried with every fibre of her being to stop, but nothing seemed to work. She tried it all. Classes to talk about her problems, relieve stress, drink some coffee, drink some Niquil, Tai-Chi. Nothing seemed to work. The only time she did not feel like she could mess up anything was when she was flying.
The wind rushing against her, the cold spray of breaking apart clouds, the tingly sensation when she smashed a thunder cloud. Her therapist had suggested getting a job as a weather pony but she did not pass the right classes in flight school to qualify for the position of being on the weather team. To which her therapist responded that perhaps she should compete in races. Lily smiled at the memory and repeated word for word exactly what she said that day, "I entered a competition when I was a filly and let's just say that due to technicalities I won first place. And by technical I mean that I caused the other contestants to trip and fall at the starting line."
Lily considered it a blessing that she grew into her unluckiness, it was worse when she was a filly. Every building she entered seemed to reduce to rubble. She had taken down a library, a mail office, a government building, and a school house. Not counting the dozens of apartment buildings and friend's houses she had burned down, not on purpose. Now she could actually walk into a supermarket and get what she needs with minimal property damage. Bruising an apple here, tearing down an entire display there. It was all covered in the expenses. She thanked Celestia that they never pressed charges.
Lily picked up the mess she had caused and continued on her way out to deliver the soap to the awaiting mares in the sauna. Lily was a born and raised mare of Ponyville so she knew the inside of the spa from the many times that her mother took her along. It was much smaller and more rustic back then. No pristine coat of pain on the walls, fancy wallpapers, no fancy patterns along the walls. Although she had to admit both the old building and the new building had style and elegance, but they held two very separate identities. Her shoes clicking on the granite floor as she traversed the hallway to the back sauna.
She slid the door open and entered in. A fairly good amount of steam accumulated in the room and she became the center of attention as the two mares looked towards her. The yellow one looked in slight fear, hiding behind her pink hair as a wall and the other beaming with happiness, a gentle smile on her pristine and beautiful white face. Her indigo hair curled and expertly combed, perhaps taking a good half hour if not a full hour to get it that shape. She smirked as Lily crossed the room and said, "Here is your soap!"
The one that was known as Rarity smiled but the other one named...oh what was it...butterfly?...answered behind her slight curtain of hair, "Thank you Lily, that will be all for now."
"If you need anything just holler!" Lily said back as she stepped out of the sauna. Closing the door behind her and pressing her back against the door, releasing a large sigh.
Lily closed her eyes and said to herself, "I am so fired..."

Lily initially did not have any concern with the most recent customers, most of the day was empty considering that Aloe and Lotus were away. But now the moaning and yells that are coming from down the hallway made Lily have room for concern. They did not sound in trouble, at least their tone of voice made it sound like they were fine. But the volume of each sound seemed to increase as time went on. It had been a full five minutes and the sounds worried Lily.
Initial curiosity told her to sneak a peak inside to see what was the matter. But something deep inside her told her that she should just leave the mares alone. They sounded like they were enjoying themselves, perhaps overly so.
Her head shot down as she repaired the light fixture on the ceiling and heard the familiar jingle of the bell above the door. She silently prayed to the goddesses that it was not another customer. From the noises from down the hall and the mess she had to clean up she did not want to tend to another customer, though she would do it if she had to. But, however, she blew out a sigh of relief as she saw the familiar spa pony mares come inside. They seemed to have their arms full of supplies and they stopped as they saw Lily on a step ladder repairing a light fixture. Aloe asked, "Sweet Celestia, what happened?"
Lily cracked her jaw and responded to her Prench accented boss, "I apologize for all that you might see, I will pay for all of this and hopefully you won't fire me..."
They both walked past the step ladder and Lotus went to walk behind the front desk, as she walked Lotus chuckled and said, "It will have to take a lot more than-woah! Was the computer on fire!"
Lily rested her face in her hand and replied, "Yes."
"What happened to the plumbing in the men's bathroom!?" Aloe cried out from the nearby room that held the "Men" sign with a silhouette of a stallion standing. The door ajar and Lily just now noticing that water was now leaking into the lobby.
Lily pressed two fingers to the bridge of her nose and raised her hand nonchalantly, "Me."
She felt her foot slip and she came toppling down to the ground and slammed hard into the floor. She rubbed her head as she groaned at the pain. She sat up and Lotus came by to offer her a lift up and Lily took the offer kindly. Standing up and still rubbing her head she explained, "I'm sorry about this, I will-"
"What is that noise?"
"Which one? The sound of water coming out from copper pipes? The sparks occasionally going off of the computer?-"
"I meant the moaning?"
Lily listened back to the moaning and responded waving a hand dismissively, "Oh those are just some customers-"
"What? Those are-*sigh*- never mind...just...what exactly were their names?"
Lily scratched her head and replied, "Well...I think one of them was named Rarity and the other one was...oh...Butterfly? Something like that."
"Fluttershy." Lotus corrected.
Lily saw as she had suppressed anger deep beneath her, trying to keep it buried. She breathed out heavily and said, "What kind of soap did you give them?"
"What?"
"What. Kind. Of. Soap. Did you. Give them?"
Lily thought back and remembered the label and said the name, "The Red Rose and White Lotus Soap?"
Lotus let out a long irritated breath before she rubbed the bridge of her nose and said out loud, "You mean to tell me, that you gave two of our most famous regulars a shampoo that changes the hormones of ponies to make it so that they have sex with each other? Have you lost your Celestia forsaken mind?"
Lily shrunk, "I didn't know they were regulars..."
"Their names were in the computer?!"
Lily twiddled her fingers and replied, "The computer broke before I had enough time to remember the names of the regulars-"
"And why would you just randomly grab some soap off the shelves?!?" Lotus yelled, "If you actually took time to read the labels then you would have figured out that there are certain soaps for certain situations!"
Lily went to say something in return but it died down in her throat and she slumped her shoulders, realizing her defeat and she said closing her eyes taking off her apron, "I'll go get my things and see myself out..."
Lily walked by the desk one last time and as if out of pure dumb luck she heard the computer burst into flames once more. Soon all sounds were drowned out of her head and she could only listen again to the many hurtful comments that were thrown her way.

(Bonus Chapter!!!) Of Lilies and Chaos
"Ah...another day another dollar, chaos is sweet and makes me holler!" Discord proclaimed to the heavens as he stood in the center of town, well not the exact center of town, more of on top of the center of town. The things he could do to the place but wouldn't because he valued the friendship of Fluttershy, and it just did not feel right. Sure he could give a rock wings, make the clouds cotton candy, and maybe even pull a practical joke on a unsuspecting pony. But he would not dare take over Equestria anymore, the last two times did a number on his pride and now preferred to just jovial tricks and things. He as well wanted to stay in Princess Celestia's good graces.
Then there was the whole debacle at the dance and what have you. It still amazed him that no matter what happens, he will always be considered a friend to the very ones who imprisoned him for a second time. They should be his mortal enemies, but they accepted him. He shook his head trying to not to think too much about it. That was one thing that he always had a problem with, letting his mind think too much. He should just do and not think. Chaos. Discord slapped his face
"OINK!"
"Hmm?...Oh, sorry Waddles I almost completely forgot sorry." Discord chided as he looked over at the small group of pigs he had gathered up. They were normal pigs aside from the little bee wings that rested on their back. His new and chaotic creation, Bee pigs! Or...flying pigs...er...okay he needed to think on the name but that was beside the point. He heard another ear splitting squeal and looked in the back and growled, "Danny! Stop, I told you that you can have sex when we are done!"
He scolded the long black haired pig who seemed to have a low look on his face as he stepped away from the backside of a pig. A defeated look on his face. Discord rubbed the bridge of his nose, as he did so he heard a shout erupt from another and Discord groaned, "Oh my sweet jesus, Arin, you do not need to use such profound language-"
"Oink! Oink!"
"Look, I know that you want to be free but do this one thing for me and you will all go free. Okay?"
His gaze moved from Danny to Arin to Barry to Suzy and Discord breathed relief, "Okay now that's over we can focus on training-God damn it Ross! Pay attention!"
Ross seemed to be day dreaming off into the distance, now turning with full attention. His eyes slowly blinking, one after the other. Mild interest plastered on his face. He knelt down and rested a claw on Ross's pic shoulder and said, "So help me god, if you do not show mild interest in this I will turn you into pork ribs."
Distraught and worry exploded on his face as he proclaimed, "Oink!"
"Yeah well, I shouldn't have to threaten you if you just-Barry! Stop it!" Discord pointed a finger at him as Barry continued to try and chase his curly tail. Spinning and spinning and spinning, seemingly with no end and it annoyed Discord. Barry stopped and tilted his head slightly and said, "Oink..."
Discord held a neutral gaze and said, "Because I said so, you-"
"Oink Oink!" Barry shouted, the others joining like a choir behind him.
"No! There will be absolutely no Wolfjob! Oh my-*sigh*." Discord ran a claw through his mane and analyzed his situation he had. He had five EXTREMELY ADHD humans turned into flying pigs. They have a very short attention span and some refuse to listen to him or Waddles. They were hilarious and he thought that this would be a good idea to turn them into this and have them fly across the sky. Yet when one seemed attentive the other was either fucking something, shouting, not paying attention, chasing their own tails or hugging each other. It was infuriating. Discord groaned, "You know what, this was never funny in the first place."
He snapped his fingers and in a flash of white magic, they all returned to their normal forms. Barry scooting his butt across the ground. Danny laying down in a sexy position. Suzy and Arin hugging each other. And Ross was....yeah Ross. Once they noticed they were humans again they stood up and looked at each other. Ross knit an eyebrow at Danny and said in his all too familiar condescending Aussie accent, "You were about to fuck a pig?"
Danny shrugged his shoulders, "Yeah...I was making the best of an even greater situation...pigs have thirty minute orgasms you know."
Discord sighed and said, "All I asked was for a simple practical joke...and you guys ruined it..."
Arin said, "Well if you would stop be such a controlling dick then we might have played along..."
Danny chuckled, "That's easy for you to say, you weren't trying to fuck a pig...it's harder than it looks..."
"How hard?" Arin looked over with an ear to ear grin at the horrible pun he did. Danny raised his hand and with a resounding slap, Arin high fived him. Followed by Arin saying, "Damn."
"That was a good one." Danny said resting his hands on his hips.
Discord raised his hands and said, "You know what, I've had enough. I'm sending you back to Earth...Danny, tell Ninjabrian that we're still on for thursday."
Danny gave a thumbs up and said, "You got it bro."
Barry, Suzy, and Arin all raised an eyebrow at Danny and he said, "What? Why do you think Ninjabrian kills people without getting caught AND how do you think I have such a big dick?"
"Ohhh..."
"Yeah okay."
"That make's sense."
"Does it hurt?" Ross asked.
Discord shook his head and said, "Ross...shut the fuck up..."
Discord snapped his fingers and before they disappeared out of sight Arin shouted, "Damn Ross even other worldly beings-"
Silence fell upon the now empty rooftop where they once stood. Discord let out a long sigh as he sat down hard and faced east to watch the setting of the sun. Bleeding red and orange across the sky, violets splashed amongst the fiery colors. Discord leaned against the roof and leaned his head back, staring up into the sky. He felt a small hoof rest on his shoulder and ask, "Oink?"
Discord thought for a while and let his thoughts stir, trying to think of something else for him to do. What could he do that is both jovial and harmless? As he thought he said, "Yes...I'm fine Waddles...you can go now, I might ask you for a favor in the future though."
"Oink."
"Yeah fuck you too." Discord opened his eyes and glanced over at the pig as he flew away. Flying ominously towards the horizon. The feeling made Discord swallow back in pride. He raised Waddles from a little piglet.
He heard a voice rip across the evening air, "I knew that humans existed!"
Discord snapped his claws and said, "Nope you were just hallucinating."
He heard a stomp in aggravation and she said, "Damn it! I thought I saw them!"
Discord chuckled and continued to stare out at the sunset. A sight that Discord would originally never find himself looking out at. System and complex are not within Discord's vocabulary. In fact, he does not even know the meaning of the words. Most people would at least know that much, but not him. They were poisonous words on his tongue, and every time that he spoke them he choked and the word never came out quite right. There was just something so pure as to simplicity and little things that he could improve upon. He released a welcoming breath as his mind cleared from that cluster fuck as he tried to coral those guys into actually doing something productive. He had to give them props though, for people who have absolutely no idea what they are doing, they can still smile and say that they have a good life.
Discord closed his eyes and reclined back, resting his head on his paw and talons. For once in his life he felt the one thing he never felt possible he could feel. He felt, at peace. Completely one with his mind, and his dark blackened soul. A gentle breeze dancing across his scales and fur. His long tail swished from side to side as he felt inner zen with himself. For too long he has never felt like this, and for too long he has remained cold hearted. He felt warmth spread throughout his veins and soaking into his muscles. What was this strange feeling he felt?
Was it...happiness? Content? He was frightened at the feeling at first but he melted into it and allowed the war feelings to absorb him in the feeling.
He snapped his head up as he heard a noise break the silence. It was a strange sound, and one that made Discord's heart sink. He heard the sound of a mare crying, sputtering and letting tears fall from her eyes. Discord looked over the streets and found nopony crying. the streets bare, aside from the occasional bystander. The crying became wails and Discord could not take it, he hated the sound of a mare crying. Fluttershy did it once and Discord almost wanted to cry himself. He looked to one side and looked in the alley and saw nothing. He flew his way to the other side and looked down, the sight alone was shocking.
He saw a lime green mare huddled against a wall, crying into her knees. Her mane was a bright yellow and seemed to shine in the setting sun. Around her were at least five or six black cats, curious as to what this mare was doing. Sharing the same curiosity as him. Two broken mirrors leaning against a wall. This sight was horrid and made Discord's heart sink even more. What happened to this mare? Why was she so sad? Should he help this mare? What should he say if he does?
He paced around the rooftop thinking of what he should do, unsure of what he should say. Should he say something funny? Should he cheer her up? What should he do? Wh was he thinking so much about this mare? There was this one thing that kept on nagging at him though, he felt something deep in his chest about this mare. It radiated off of her, a familiar feeling but something he could not quite put his claw on. That made him more curious than anything, what was behind this mare? His instincts getting the better of him as he glided on the wind down to try and attempt to cheer this mare up.
"You're good for nothing!"
"You're fired! Go try and ruin someone else's life!"
"You better pray to Celestia herself that you do come up with the money!"
'Leave my shop, just leave before I consider pressing charges..."
Lily felt it wash over her. Like a flood they all drowned her in her own bitter sadness, clouding her mind and judgment. Those comments finally got the better of her and finally made her sad. She could hold them back, but she could never hold them back for long. Just like her luck in the material world, she was just as unlucky in her mind. She trembled and shook as she felt her eyes start to leak with the salty water that filled her eyes. Her eyes burned as she began to cry. Her lip quivering as she feebly hugged her legs, pulling them in tight to try and forget about the outside world.
She felt as though she wanted to lie down and just leave herself there, where she could never hurt anypony ever again. Wherever she went it was always braking something or causing some sort of injury somewhere. She would be fine, but the same could not be said about anypony else who seems to be in her company. Every single one vivid in her mind as those same emotions that day resurfaced and left her body through her eyes. Each one more painful to relive than the last.
Sputtering and hugging her legs tighter, bracing herself and wishing that she was never there. Wishing that she just moved away and never came back. It would not affect anypony else's lives. She hardly made a significant impact on anypony to be memorable. Let alone enough that they would miss her. Either they had no idea she existed or they willingly ignored her because of what she did to them. The number of ponies that hated her were innumerable. Even the kindest pony on the planet could look at her and gawk and scold as she passed by. She felt to alone and so cold that she would not care if something so bad happened to her.
But the worst. The worst one was when she had lost her parents. That day was probably the darkest day of her life. All paled in comparison to that day. They knew about her unluckiness, her knack for finding the worst things happening. But she did not. Her parents were sleeping and it was just a few hours before they woke up. Lily woke up early and decided that she wanted to give them breakfast in bed. She cooked them daisycakes with syrup, toast, and orange juice. She was attentive and figured nothing bad would happen. Her attention was diverted when she heard her little brother rouse from his sleep. Not wanting her parents to wake up, she decided to go and consul her filly brother. She stopped sputtering as the memory continued and a single tear ran down from her eye and down her cheek. She had forgotten that she left the stove on high. She lost herself in laying her brother down to sleep that she did not smell the smoke initially. She turned and saw the door was gone and smoke rose to the ceiling.
She grabbed her brother and rushed out, keeping her head low from the poisonous fumes. She stopped in front of her parent's bedroom and was about to open the door when the ceiling collapsed above her and the debris blocked the door. She screamed and tried to open it and the last words she heard from her mother was, "Lily...Lily, honey listen to me...there's nothing left that you can do to help us...take your brother go outside, run...RUN!"
Lily listened and rushed and tried to find her way outside with her brother in her arms, screaming and wailing. Once she reached the front door she felt a hard impact against her neck. She knocked herself off balance and her vision went black as she hit the floor, hearing the final screams of her filly brother...The only thing that Lily remembers after that is waking up on the lawn of her house and standing up to find her house in ashes.
The tears continued as she finished the memory, becoming an uncontrollable mess. Riding it out and waiting for it to end. She vaguely heard a feminine voice ask, "Hey, are you alright?"
Her tears stopped for a moment as she looked up. She saw a woman, with long snow white mane and light grey brown fur, a thin evening dress and yellow and red eyes. She looked around the same age as her and had a well rounded figure. But her sadness did not cease as she closed her eyes once more and cried into her knees. She wanted to be left alone, no one could help her.
She heard the woman sit down next to her and she said, "Why are you so upset?"
Lily sputtered, "I...bad luck just seems to follow me everywhere."
She continued her fit of crying and the woman waited for her to finish. Why does this mare want to help her? She doesn't deserve it anyways. Lily rubbed her eyes and choked, "If I were you I would run away before you burst into flames or brake an arm or something...just leave me alone..."
She heard the woman say, "Well, you-"
"Look!" Lily shouted, "I don't want to harm anypony else! Everypony around me just seems to get hurt or worse...everything I touch breaks into a million pieces! I WANT. TO BE. ALONE!!!"
She buried her face into her arms as they rested on her knees and cried a little bit more and prayed that the woman went away by now. She did not want to hurt anypony else. She seemed like a nice woman, all the more reason that she wanted to push her away. Her cries echoed off the walls of the alley. Why should anypony help her? All she has caused for anypony is pain.
"No you don't." The woman said matter of factly. Lily turned her head to face the woman as she boldly tried to tell Lily what she wanted.
Lily clenched her fist and said, "Listen...you seem like a very nice lady but, you don't understand. With me there is only hurt...just...go away..."
After a few seconds the woman said, "I know a thing or two about loneliness...all too much actually...all those years of being alone, I forgot what it felt like to have somepony next to you...you don't want to be alone, you just need somepony to help you."
Lily snorted, "Yeah...well then you have never met me...just a few hours with me and you would wish you were never my friend."
Lily saw in the corner of her eye the woman stand up and she said, "Well, there's only one way to find out. I can stand to have a little bit of chaos right now."
She held out a hand for her to take and Lily looked from the hand to her. Either this mare did not know what danger meant or she was just ignorant to truth. Either way, she wanted to take a chance and that wild and determined look in her eye was more than enough to know that this mare was mentally insane for wanting to spend a few hours with her. Lily accepted the hand and felt a shock ripple through her fingers as she lifted her up.
Discord felt it when he lifted her up, the shock. This mare was drenched in chaos magic, it was practically bleeding off of her. So wild and so powerful, powerful enough that there was little for Discord to do to help it. But, there was little things that he could do to help get rid of this magic. What did this mare do to get a curse like this? She was such a gentle mare, even she could see this when she was covered with sadness. This mare was in desperate need of somepony to help her.
Discord said with a smile on his face, "My name is Eris by the way."
She swiped a strand of her mane out of her eye and said, "My name is Lily."
Eris has never been known to be the hero, but for this mare, she'll make an exception.
