Prologue
17 A.E ( two years after the sinking of Jacinto) or July 8,2558
"Marcus are you there? Marcus!"Adam Fenix, Marcus Fenix father, yelling through the TAC/COM if his son survived and got a answer
"We're okay dad, stand by." Marcus said as he disconnected. Delta squad, with consist of Sam, Anya and Jace, looked around and looked around and saw the sky and water surrounding the island.
"Wow, look at that... instant summer." Jace said as Anya tried to contact
"Anya to Cole, Baird? Is anyone receiving?" Anya asked as she prayed that someone would respond
"Hey, we heard that explosion five klicks out! Having fun?" Baird said in a smug tone over the comm.
"Baird, where are you?" Anya asked Baird. She then heard Cole over her ear piece.
"We're inbound, baby! The Navy's here! Whoo!" Cole said as they saw ships coming towards them.
"Bloody hell, they found the UIR! That's a Gorasni ship! Samantha said as they saw the fleet. Anya then receive another message from Baird.
" also, we found new friends." Baird said as Anya was trying to figure out what he said.
"What do.. you....." Anya didn't finish as she, along with Delta squad, saw the biggest ship ever in their lives. As it flew by overhead, they saw the words U.N.S.C INFINITY on the side.
"You like it? Apparently, these guys are humans and they have a government that spread over 800 worlds and they have a lot of technology i could play with." Baird said with excitement at the last sentence.
The team didn't respond until Baird and Cole, along with four C.O.G soldiers, who armor was painted black and silver on the shoulder plates and on parts of the helmet, came out. The three members of Delta squad didn't know who they were until Jace noticed one of them wearing a sliver neck chain and knew who it was.
"Robert Santos? Is that you?" Jace asked as the Gear in question pulled his helmet off and it showed a 20 year-old man with black hair and a scar on his face.
"Jace Stratton, thought i never see you again." Robert said as the two friends started to tell stories. While that was happening. Baird was asking Marcus.
"Where's Dom and Dizzy?"
"Dizzy taken the submarine off shore and Dom... he didn't make it." Marcus saw with sadness in his voice. Cole and Baird took this hard.
"Oh, no." Baird said as he try to come to grips from the news they receive. But Cole...
"Somebody gotta pay. Somebody gotta fucking pay!" Cole yelled.
"What happened while we were gone? Robert asked Jace.
"Don't want to talk about it." Jace said as he started to move towards Marcus.
"He got us this far. Now we finish it." Marcus said as he turned to Jace and Sam." Jace, Sam, you two head back to the ship to direct troops where to land."
"But Marcus... you need us here with you. We-" Jace said, but was cut off by Marcus.
"This is not negotiable, people. Ship out." He said as Jace and Samantha went on the chopper. Marcus and the rest looked at Robert and the other three.
"Who are you?" Anya asked them.
"My name is Robert Santos, this is. J.B Amaranthia Falklire, Damian Shay and Chade Margoes and this is Echo squad." Robert said as his team looked ahead.
"Save the presentation for later. Right now we have a battle to finish." Baird said as they all head towards Adam Fenix office.
2 hours later
After fighting through the various locusts and lambent that was between them and Adam Fenix. Joseph used his machete when they got close and personal. Echo squad thought it would be best to split up so they could there faster. Cole and Chade had a contest of who could get the most kills by curb stomping. Chade won by three kills.
They were outside Adam Fenix office, but in front of the door was a dozen of locusts and three boomers trying to get through the door. Robert and his squad didn't hesitate to fire at the locusts, catching them off guard.
Marcus and his team opened fire at the boomers that was smashing the door and had to dodge incoming boom shot rounds coming at them. Robert grabbed a locusts drone and used its body as a shield against incoming rounds. When the body was almost gone, he grabbed a grad and stuck it on him and chucked the locusts in to a group of locusts, killing them
Damian and Chade were killing locusts left and right, covering them in blood. After 10 minutes, all the locusts were killed. Robert and the others said that they would stay outside while Marcus and the rest went inside the office.
"Can't believe that this will be finally over." Damian said as the others agreed. Joseph couldn't help but look at the youngest of the team.
"Hey, Robert. What are you going to do when this is over?" Joseph asked as Robert shrugged.
They continued to talk until they saw Marcus, Anya, Cole, Baird and Adam Fenix came out.
"This way. We have to head up to the roof." Adam said as they all head towards the top. When they did, they saw a tower.
"What is that?" Chade said as they all looked at it.
"That is the solution to the lambent." Baird said.
"And the locust?" Joseph asked.
"They would be harmed by this also." Baird said. When they ran towards the machine. Stalks started to pop out of the ground, along with locusts coming up on grappling hooks.
"Everyone, i need more time! Hold them off until its powered up." Adam said as they all started to shoot at the locusts and lambent. Robert grabbed a fire grenade and chucked it at a group of grenadiers, who exploded when their grenades were heated up.
Marcus and the others were killing the lambent.
"Can this get any worse?" Robert asked. Then four stalks popped out and spewed out more lambent.
"You just had to open your damn mouth." Baird said as he killed a former human.
After a couple of minutes of killing. They heard what sounded like a bug wings flying closer, until they saw Myrrah on her giant bug.
They started to shoot at it until a huge stalk popped out of the ground a a lambent zerker came out. Robert and his team distracted it, hoping to lure it away. They got the Berserker attention they blew a hole open in the ground. The four jumped into the hole, the berserker followed them.
Marcus and his squad were focusing on Myrrah, while Robert and his squad tried to killed the behemoth, but were slowly running out of ammo. They only took shots when they can and ran outside, so they have more room to fight. Unfortunately, they ran out of ammo and pulled out their pistol. When some locusts ran towards them, they would knife them or shoot them and would grab their weapons and used it against the berserker.
After exhausting all of their ammo, they knew this was the end until a blue wave of energy hit them, but only affected the berserker. They decided to run up towards the top, only to see Marcus stabbing Queen Myrrah and they heard him say
"That's from Dom, and everyone else you killed you bitch." She stopped breathing and fell backwards. After that, the machine kept releasing wave after wave of energy, killing all the locusts and lambent on Sera. They were picked up by a pelican and they head towards a town that was occupied by stranded and gears.
"Well guys, what are we going to do now this is over?" Joseph asked
"Well i heard from the marines, the ones from that ship, that they are looking for soldiers to help them out." Damian said.
"I don't care what the work is, as long as we aren't here anymore. We don't have homes no more and no loved ones." Chade said as he grabbed a can if chewing tobacco and grabbed a small chunk and put it into his mouth.
They looked at the sun setting, hoping for a brighter future.
Meanwhile in equestria, 97 years before Nightmare Moon return
Celestia was reading a report about a recent attack on a village when she looked at her calendar. She kept track of time when her younger sister, Luna, would finally return. But she has to find those who could use the Elements of Harmony to free her from that evil entity that possessed her.
She kept feeling that guilt and sadness when she had to banish her every day. But right now she had to focus on running a country. But she couldn't help but feel like something bad is going to happen in the future.
Chapter 1
July 21, 2658 (100 years later)
UNSC Halvo Bay, bridge
The bridge was voided of life, except for one.The Captain of the ship was looking through reports or request from the crew about what they need. The captain was Robert Santos and he looked like he was in his early 20s, but in reality, he was 120 years old, thanks to having medical surgery that increased his lifespan.
An ensign entered the bridge and went to the captain.
"Sir, fleet admiral William is ordering us to regroup at Sera." The young ensign said.
' why would he want us to head towards Sera?' Robert thought to himself.
"Thank you ensign. Now head back towards the mess hall, you might want to get something to eat before we make a jump." Robert said before the ensign saluted and left for the mess hall.
He knew that half of his crew were young adults or just turned eighteen. He can't help but reminisce about the past, about how he joined to help humanity survive. He suppressed the thoughts and returned doing his normal duties, but fate has other plans.
2 hours later
Over Sera
A fleet of 25 ships came out of slipspace and near the planet that was found 100 years ago.
At the head was the UNSC Valhalla, a Infinity-class ship, along with 4 autumn-class cruisers, 8 marathon-class heavy destroyers and the rest is Paris-class frigates. Robert was apart of the Autumn-class ships.
When he saw his home world, Sera back to its original state before emergence day. The planet also had a space elevator, along with some ODPs protecting it from the covenant remnants.
His ship had a prototype forerunner teleporter that could transport troops and supplies to the ground. His ship also has both C.O.G and UNSC troops, ranging from the gears to the two new soldiers called Hoplite and the other is called the Centurion. They were both during the 'human-covenant war' in order to help turn the war to their favor.
As the fleet waited for the fleet admiral to give them further orders, Robert wonder where his former squadmates were doing.
' probably somewhere in the inner colonies in the UEG territory.'Robert thought to himself.
He watched as the fleet in front of him float over the planet. Then he got a video call from one of the ships, The UNSC Amaterasu's Wrath.
'wonder what the captain wants?' Robert thought as he pressed a key to accept the video call, only to be met with a Bonnie mask and a loud yell, scaring the living hell out of him.
"Oh, God that was too funny!" Said a voice that Robert didn't hear in a century.
"Jesus Christ, Joseph. Don't do that again." Robert said as he collected himself.
"I can't help it." Joseph said as he sat down." So how being Captain feel?"
"It just feels weird since I'm use to being a Sergeant." Robert said truthfully. The two friends talk about what they did for the 100 years since they went separate ways. Robert found out that Damian and Chade were Captains too, Damian commanding the UNSC Jacinto and Chade had the UNSC Ilima city.
The two converse with each other until their A.I, Robert is Sonya and Joseph is Nikolai, who told them that the fleet admiral given orders to head towards a forerunner planet with the given coordinates.
Wasting no time, they ordered all crew and soldiers to get ready, while the bridge started to end a slip space portal, flying towards it until the ship entered the portal, like the other ships who proceed to do the same thing until none were left. Unaware what would happen in the next three hours.
Meanwhile in Equestria
It's been three years since Twilight Sparkle ascension to princesshood and the law she made that state that males were either sent to sex camps or sold to mares and have to obey their command, since the male to female ratio dramatically changed from 1 to 5 to 1 to 25. Ever since then, the only males who wasn't affected by the law was the highest ranking member in the nobility class and the two royal members, Shining Armor and Blueblood.
after two months since the law was created, stallions, and some colts, would sneak out and leave Equestria so that they would be free, but Twilight caught on and created the Colt and Stallion Retrieval Unit, or the C.S.R.U. the unit is now chasing two colts who broke out of a camp with the help of two mares.
"Come on Pipsqueak, they're right behind us!" Button mash said as he, Pipsqueak, his mom, Nursery Rhyme and Big Macarena, were running away from the ponies behind them.
Pipsqueak couldn't run anymore and almost fell, until Big Macarena grabbed him and put him on her back as they ran until they found a cave that was covered in vines that could hide it from the other ponies.
They all kept quiet when they heard hoofsteps near them.
"Where did they go!?!" A mare said to the group of mares.
"They were in this area." A young C.S.R.U agent said.
"Spread out and find them!" The leader said as they checked all of the hiding places they could think of until they moved to another area. The four ponies breathed in relief that luck was on their side. Nursery Rhyme prayed that a miracle would happen. Little did she know, that a miracle would happen.
Meanwhile in unknown space near a forerunner planet.
The fleet came out of slipspace and right into an ambush by a covenant remnants fleet. They were caught off guard, resulting in three Marathon-class ships and half of the frigates destruction. The remaining ships opened fire at the enemy fleet, who lost a good portion of their ships, which was a CSO-supercarrier and 15 battle cruisers. The Covenant remnants sent boarding ships to enter the UNSC ships and kill the crew, but the frigates destroyed a vast amounts of them, but a few were able to attached to the Halvo Bay.
Robert, who hadn't seen action in a century, went to get his custom armor due to his muscular body not fitting the regular sized one. His armor was a dark black with silver lines on his legs going down. He grabbed his Lancer,boltok pistol,sniper rifle and two katanas that he made
himself and went to kill the remnants of the Covenant. When he arrived, the ship defense forces were killing any Covenant who were trying to kill them.
Robert opened fire with his assault rifle, spraying lead down the hallway where the Elites were coming from. Most perished from his gun and the rest took cover Robert decided to get up close to them. One made a fatal mistake of trying to shoot Robert, who chainsawed it in half. The others were blinded by rage and ran towards him, who just pulls out his pistol and killed each one with one round. Some elites activated their energy sword and rushed at Robert, who pulled out his katanas and started to slash at their exposed areas. One elite went behind him, only to have a sword rammed into his chest.
Robert started to see the boarding party numbers diminishing as the ship's forces were killing them off. Robert thought that they got it and head back towards the bridge, only to see the Covenant remnants fleet being demolished. His A.I told them that the Fleet Admiral wants him and The UNSC Amaterasu's Wrath, Jacinto and Ilima city to head back to UNSC territory to tell them what happened. The four ships started to open their slipspace portals,until a surviving corvette launched 4 plasma torpedo and hit their engines, causing the FTL drive to send them to a different location.
At the same time in the cave outside of Ponyville
The two mares were watching as the two colts sleep in each of their laps.
"They look so peaceful when they're asleep." Nursery Rhymes said as she watch her son sleeping.
"Eeyup." Big Macarena said as Pipsqueak was in her lap as she ran her fingers through his hair.
"You know, what would you do if you had a son?" Rhymes asked Macarena.
"I would hide him rather than have him taken away from me." Big Macarena said.
The two mares were talking to one another until they heard a chariot landing. They heard more hoofsteps coming from the chariot.
"Princess Twilight!" The CSRU agent said as she bow down to her. The two older mares froze in fear. Was it that bad that they had Twilight and her friends had to be brought to find them?
"Hello Bon-Bon. Have you find them yet?" Twilight asked as her friends got their gear on.
"No ma'am, they must have left the area already and we've checked the surrounding areas."Bon-bon said.
"Great. Now we have to check all over the place just to find them!" Rainbowdash complained. Everyone knew that Twilight handpicked each mare for the job. But whoever was helping them is very good
"Was there others who broke them out or only the stallions?" Twilight asked.
"There were two mares, one's Nursery Rhymes and the other is Big Macarena. " Bon-Bon told them. They were shocked to hear the news, especially Applejack.
' why would she do this?' Applejack thought as they talked until Pinkie pie 'Pinkie sense' started to act up.
"Pinkie what is happening to you?" Rainbowdash ask.
"I don't know, this one is new to me." Pinkie said as they looked at each other. They eventually started to look where they were and the surrounding areas. The two mares in the caves hoped that they would somepony would help them. What they didn't know is that they get help, but it not what they asked.
At the same time, outside the moon orbit Over Equis
Four slip space portal open as the four ships from earlier came through. As the portal closed, the captains started to get status reports of their ships. Their engines were shot to hell, the FTL drive has to get repairs and some of their AA-guns were destroyed in the battle. Thankfully that the UNSC Jacinto had a new forerunner technology that allows it to produce an infinite of supplies so that they could stay there indefinitely.
The captains also saw the planet in front of them and decided to go down there themselves, along with a team of scientists and a squad of Onyx guards. They gave a commander authority to watch over the ship. They all grouped up at Halvo Bay hangar. Before they could depart, a scientist told them that they were able to make exo-suits. They decided to try it out and saw they had active camouflage, boost jump, a grappling hook and a energy shield built in it.
After getting the exo-suits, they boarded the pelican and head towards the planet.
After making landfall in a forest.
They scouting party started to look at the place they landed. It had a cartoony look to it and one of the scientists thought that they seen this place from somewhere before, but couldn't put a finger on it. The scientists started to collect samples of the plant life and the wildlife, some of them looked like they came out of mythology itself. As the group heads towards a cave that one of the Onyx Guard spotted, since it started to rain. As they head into the cave, they all saw the most bizarre thing ever.
