Today
*CRACK* "What was that?" I asked looking at my surroundings, noticing that it was just a broken twig. Stupid things. Looking around, noticing that I'm where I wanted to be, my old home, "The Castle of the Two Sisters" as most people call it.
I looked around for a while, searching everywhere, finding the lever to the secret chambers, I enter, and in the middle lays a pillow, right next to it, a pedestal holding the journal to my life and dreams,really it was the journal of the two sisters, Jeeze, two sisters, everywhere, "Finally, I have found the journal, and perfect timing too, now time to go." I put the journal into my my satchel and pull out a copy, consisting of everything in the journal except any hints or clues to what I am doing.
As I walk through the castle, I passed by a tapestry of Luna, I look up at it and put my hand on the woven picture and smile, tearing up as I do so. "Don't worry Luna, the time is almost come, soon you shall be back in my arms, and rule by my side, for my subjects wait for their queen." I pull away and teleport home with the magic given to me by the necklace I wear on my neck.
I appear in my room and head for the door, I call to my guards, "Gather the citizens, and bring me the objects, it is time to summon the queen!" I close the door to hear the guards run off to the barracks, moments later the guard comes back in,
"Sir, the objects are ready, and the citizens have been summoned." The guard says with that famous monotone voice,
I nod,"Good, I am ready." Once I say that the guards escort me to the balcony to address my subjects, as I step on, the crowd cheers for me, I wave and let the crowd settle down, "For years we have been waiting for our queen, and, after long last, the night has come! Tonight is a night that we shall celebrate, for we are finally getting our queen!" I say, addressing the crowd, after the sentence is all said and done, the crowd cheers even louder this time, I stand their for a couple minutes until the guard behind me says something,
"Sir, the warlocks are ready and the objects are secure"
With that I nod and he escorts me to the gardens, where the said objects lay in a circle, the warlocks bow as i walk towards them "Please, that is unnecessary, we are getting our queen tonight, come, let us begin." With that, we turn to the items laying on the ground, and as we do so, the warlocks' horn glow as the necklace on my neck glows with a faint aura as we put everything into the start of the summoning of Luna, you see ,the reason I am doing this is because years ago when I first arrived here.....
1500 Years ago
*BEEP*.......*BEEP........*BEEP*.........
I wake up to the usual beeping noise of my alarm clock so, as a habit I guess, I reach over to turn it off, but I just hit air, I scoot over and try again, just to have my hand stop by some unknown force, I try to guess what it is, but I couldn't feel anything, so I opened my eye to get a peek, once seen, I open my eyes fully in shock, there was a light blue hue coming from my arm, I try to flex it, but it wouldn't budge, I looked up from my hand to see teal blue eyes looking at me curiously, I looked back at those eyes, at that moment the figure behind those eyes decided to step out of the shadows to reveal a body covered in blue with a black splotch on her behind with a picture that represented a cresent moon.
I wasn't sure what to say, the creature must have found something funny, cause she chuckled and said,
"Hello there, our name is princess Luna, princess of the night, and co-ruler of the land of Equestria, and who, might we ask, art thou?" She says in that old language everyone talks about, I thought it was a little cute,
"I am Wilton." I hold my hand out,"it's nice to meet you!" She shakes my hand
"The pleasure wast all ours!..." From that day on, Luna and I had many Q&A sessions and when I finally got out of the hospital, we would have many times where we went to hang out, most of the time on Luna's balcony watching the sky for a couple minutes, until one day we finally found the time to go to a hill to have a picnic at night time, the perfect place for a picnic with the princess of the night, so once we set it up, I was ready, though a bit nervous, but who isn't before their own engagement? So I took a breath and looked at Luna and decided that it was now or never,
" hey Luna?"I ask
"Yes?" She replied
"I've been thinking, and you have been a big help to me, you've always found time to spend with me or to just say hi, and I feel safe around you, so I've thought about this....I guess what I'm saying is," I get on my knee "Will you marry me?" I ask hoping she accepts, while she is gasping with a hoof over her mouth and getting all teary eyed,
"yes" she answers, but I could barely hear
"What you say?" I ask, and she jumps on me yelling
"YES" then smothering me with kisses all over my face, when she gets off me, I put the ring on her hoof and pack up, finally we go back to the castle smiling, ready to tell celestial about the proposal...
Today
As we put everything into this spell, the candles astounding the objects began to glow a dark blue, with the center being like the blackest night, as the spell was reaching it's climax, everything not attached to the ground began to float, when we touched down the four other warlocks were glowing a bright white, as they assumed control of the four stars and I was the final boost of power to get my wife out of the moon, as the spell was finishing there was a wave of wight light coming form the moon that kicked up a pebble flew up and hit me in the knee, as this happened, I lost concentration and soon was kicked out of the spell, as this happened the four warlocks started to lose control but couldn't stop feeding magic to the spell, as quick as I could I cut their magic off by grabbing their horns as fast as I could, when the white light faded from their body, they collapsed , I quickly had the guards bring them to the hospital.
Once I was alone, I sat down on a nearby bench and stared at the moon whispering "I shall see you soon, Luna, for you are my wife." At that moment, I felt a ripple of familiar magic, Luna's magic, I perk up and run into the castle to my chambers where I tell the guards to ready the chariot, that we were going on a little trip to find my wife, I go to my wardrobe and find my traveling crown and transform into my pony form, I find my hoof shoes as well as my collar with the darkest gems, light blue armor and the traditional velvet cape, once the chariot was ready, I climbed on the dark blue lunar metal with the same type of gems, when I was ready I called to the pegasi pulling the chariot "Off we go!" When we lifted off I whispered to myself "I am coming for you, my wife!"

Today
After an hour of flying and looking at my surroundings, one of the guards notify me on where I am, "Sir, we are at our next destination." he says, catching my attention, as we land in the center of town, all the residents come out to see why a chariot flew by, as soon as I step out of the chariot, everyone is startled by my appearance and starts whispering, I think I heard someone ask why I was here, I chuckle, "ladies and gentlemen, you must be wondering why I'm here," everyone gasps, "I am just here to get someone, does anyone know where a pony named Luna is?" a lot of the ponies started whispering when a purple pony stepped up claiming she knew where she was, when I asked where she was, she said that she was in Canterlot, I sigh, "Thank you Ponyville for you're time." with that, I get back into my chariot a tell the guards we are going to Canterlot.
45 minutes later, we arrive at the gates to the castle, ignoring the nobles giving me questioning glances, I walk up to the gates and the guards also give me a questioning glace, but notice my crown and open the gates, as I walk through the castle, all the staff give me glaces but nothing more, I reach the doors to the throne room and open them, as the doors open, Celestia stands from her throne, I notice Luna sitting next to her, I tell the guards not to let anyone in, then I walk up to Celestia and Luna and bow, "Your highnesses." I ask standing back up at them, both of the ponies looking at me warily,
"And, who might you be? There has not been an alicorn in years that I am aware of ." she asks, still wary, I smile with my answer,
"My name is Night Aura, but you may call me Prince long night." after I say my name both of their eyes widen and Luna stands up and walks to the front, eyeing me,
"If you are as thou says thou are, then thee must prove it." she says stomping the ground causing a few cracks to form in the ground, I smile and close my eyes, imagining my original form, two legs two hands and a body, with that I open my eyes and smile, shadows pulling all to me, surrounding me in a sphere, Luna gasping and taking a step back, recognizing the magic coming from the sphere, shadow magic, only two people in the world could do shadow magic, her, and her husband, just as the realization hit her, the shadows cleared, showing me in front of her wearing clothes of a king, as well as a crown and full set of armor, a happy, yet malicious grin on his face.
"HUSBAND, IT IS THOU!" she yells lunging at the bipedal figure with a earsplitting grin and tears streaming down her face, they both meet each other in a hug and a kiss, Celestia happy at seeing her brother-in-law once again, the couple break apart for the prince to start rubbing Luna's cheek,
"Luna, 'tis good to see you again, I thought I would never see you again when you where banished." I say looking up at Celestia and giving her a stink eye, "Did you get my song?" I ask her looking back at Luna, she smiles and nods,
"Thou never forgot me, did thou get thy's song?" she asks back, I nod,
"Could never forget your voice, 'tis as sweet as honey and as soft as butter." I answer back, remembering the song she sang to gather her "children", she blushes, but I just smile even more.
Celestia smiles, getting up from her spot on the throne and walking to us, "It is good you see you again, dear brother, what have you been doing as of late, if I am mistaken, you should have been dead by now?" she says, I smile and nod,
"Indeed, but I have found something to avoid it," I waved to the necklace hanging on my neck, which both Celestia and Luna just noticed, "remember when everyone in the lab was sneaking around, well, I was the cause of that, many tries and fails, and a couple of mutations later, this is made," I say taking the necklace off, " this very necklace helps me live like an alicorn, magically, strength wise, and aging wise, and no one can use this necklace at all, a small security measure to make sure no one can take it for themselves, not even you gals." I say putting the necklace back on.
Celestia looks at me with surprise, then to questioning glances, "Interesting, but we have more important things to discuss now, such as to where you have been all this time, one does not live nowhere for one thousand years and come out looking like you, espesially with guards no less?" she says moving the topic on, again I smile.
"Ah, yes, my whereabouts, I figured you would ask, tell me, have you heard of the kingdom of the forgotten?" they just glance at me, "Thought so, okay then, have you noticed some of you're ponies disappear?" she nods, "Well, what would you do if I told you I was the reason that your ponies disappear?" she blinks surprised, "Indeed, in fact, I've started a kingdom full of all species that have been mistreated in any way, actually, that is the whole reason I've come here, is to pick up Luna," both of their heads snap my way, "Yes, my kingdom's people are getting impatient for their queen, they have waited one thousand years, in fact, the whole reason Luna is back, is because of me, a small miscast pushed Luna to the small town of ponyville," again they looked shocked from the information "So that means..." I interrupt Luna before she could finish, "Yes, love, your original landing was intended to be in my kingdom.," Celestia's turn to gasp.
"But enough talk, we have an important matter at hand," I turn to Luna kneeling in front of her again, "Luna would you do the pleasure of being my queen and being by my side?" I ask, just like when I asked her to marry, she just looks nervous but doesn't speak, I stand back up, towering above her,"I will give you time, however, I can only stay here for two days, I have a kingdom to take care of, I will be waiting." I say walking out of the throne room, closing the door behind me, heading to find a room to stay in over the next two nights, as I find the room I'm staying in, my guards finally find me and catch up to me.
"How was the talk sir?" one of my guards ask, trotting up to his position next to me,
"It wasn't bad sarge, finally getting to see my wife again, waiting thousands of years can make one anxious." I say as I enter my room, and they stop just outside my door, as I'm unpacking the guards knock on my door, "Yes?" I ask,
"Princess Luna wishes to talk to you sir." the guard answers,
"Send her in." I say as I finish putting up my belongings, the door opens to a dark blue princess, "And what do I have the honors of this visit to?" I say bowing rhetorically, she smiles,
"thou always was one for jokes." she says still smiling, I smile back,
"Well, life would be boring if no one joked around." I say "But seriously, what are you here for?" I ask putting on a serious face.
"thou just wanted to know how thy husband is doing, thou's short talk didn't tell us much." she says
"I am doing fine love, a little stressed, but that is normal for a leader of a kingdom."
"Ah 'tis true, we wish that were not true, but it is." she says, her ears splaying backward, I just smile and reach for the back of her head, scratching her. After a bit of snuggling later, I have to bring up a certain topic,
"Though I appreciate this, I have a feeling that you came here for more than just checking on me." I ask her, she gets up, her ears splaying back again.
"Thee speaketh the truth, we were curious about the reason you are here." she asks
"Ah, well, as I said in the throne room, I come looking for you."I answer
"Why?"she asks again, causing me confusion.
"What do you mean?" I reply, getting up as well
"Why, I have just returned by thy's sisters side, and thou already wishes to separate me from her again?!" she exclaims
"Again, I came for you."
"But must thee take thou away already? Why can't thee just come to thy's home?"
"Luna, it is hard to just give up on a kingdom one day." I say
"Then just join thou's kingdom to ours!" she says, yet again
"NEVER!!" I yell, "Luna, you might not know, because you were in the moon the entire time, but your sister, Celestia, didn't care that you were in the moon! I asked her if she was going to try and get you out, but she just ignored me half the time, the other half, she laughed at me!!!" she looks at me, shocked and upset,
"But our dear sister cares for us much! she said so herself!" she exclaims, clearly worried,
"Luna, just because one says, does not me they do. What has she done for you as of late?" I ask her, she just looks down, trying to defend her sister, but coming up with nothing. "I thought so, Luna, please, for the love of all things good, please come with me, it will be much better there!" I say, pleading for her to join me in my kingdom.
"Fairy well, but thy must get things settled with thy sister first." she replies, quickly leaving the room.
later
"HE TOLD YOU WHAT!!!" Celestia yelled in the middle of the throne room, fuming with anger because of what she just heard her sister say,
"We thought that thou stopped using thou's Canterlot voice years ago!?" Luna mumbled, rubbing her ears to hopefully stop the ringing happening in her ears, which wasn't stopping, at all,
"I'm sorry sister, but, just, WHAT!!! I would never do that to my sister!!! He was lying!! He was the one that ran away from Equestria!!! And notice did he say anything about you, why, I'm surprized I didn't kick him out myself!!!" Celestia ranted, taking a few calming breaths before calmly walking down to her sister, who was walking around the room, looking at the beautiful Windows depicting the elements of harmony banishing her evil side away and cleansing her soul, as well as rubbing her ears, still.
"I'm sorry sister, I was foolish to even think of listening, he does have a habit of lying to us..." She says thinking about his behaviors,
"It's okay Luna, it is natural to believe ones husband, rather than their own sister." Celestia says, waving it off, happy that her sister has seen reason.
"I must talk to him!!! I will be right back, sister." Luna says, stomping out of the throne room in anger, heading for her husbands room.
Later, again
" I refuse!!!" Luna says, stomping into her husbands room, fuming.
"I beg your pardon?" I ask, confused as to why my wife was fuming red in anger,
" I said I refuse, do I need to repeat that? You have lied to me ONE too many times, consider me coming to you kingdom severed!!!" She shouts, I just sit down, trying to keeping my face under control, barely making it,
" Very well, I will be leaving this evening, considering your face, you don't want me to be here any longer, but know that my kingdom is highly anticipating you, and will accept you with a snap." I say, letting her out the door, and waving good bye, not that she noticed.
After the beautiful talk I just had with the lady in black, I immediately called one of the guards in and had them help me pack,
" Your highness, if I may ask, why are we packing so early? We have a day until we are expected back." The guard asks, looking at me curiously,
"It is ok sarge, and the reason why? Well let's say that the princess that we came here for doesn't want to come. She barged in here, as you see, and outright refused."
" Oh..." The sarge says, looking a little confused, a little upset, and a little angry.
" Now, help me carry these cases to the chariot, we have a little bit of a ride ahead of us!!" I say to both guards, picking up two of the suit cases and carrying them to the chariot, which I honestly can't understand, these things are just a whole new different, but at least I have my modern teachnology in my kingdom, I notice my guards starting to look downtrodden, I try to cheer them up,
"Don't worry, my faithful followers, it will take time, but she will come to us, I knew this, but I just wanted to give her a try before, and let her know I was here!!!" I say, raising their spirits, and we take off, knowing that things will get better, sooner or later...
