Silver Light

A unicorn mare with a cream colored coat and Sliver hair that was bountiful with curls sat on the friendship express with a rather bored expression on her face. She was traveling far north to the Crystal Empire to do some special research.  As she looked out the window to her right she thought she saw a gray pony out there, but she quickly dismissed the thought to the blaring blizzard that they were currently in. More importantly nopony would be out there anyway. She was heading to the Crystal Empire looking for a type of magic that she thought would be.

"We will arrive in the Crystal Empire in ten minutes please let me see all you tickets!" The train conductor yelled while head toward her to she if she had her ticket she rolled her eyes and the colt showed him her ticket and shooed him off.

"Thank you miss Silver Light," he said before leaving her and going to the next seat which held several fillies with a single mom from what she took. She looked out the window and she could see the blizzard was starting to clear up; on the horizon she could faintly make out the outline of the crystal castle.

She used her magic to get her suitcase next to her so she could  get off this damned train as soon as possible. The minutes that took to get to the crystalline city felt more like an hour, as soon as she got off the train she headed to the hotel she was planning on staying in the best part about it was that it was very close to the library. She walked down the trying to not draw any attention to her by waving to ponies who wandered the streets, and giving some smiles, at last she arrived at her hotel it was one of the fancier ones in the  city, but she had the money her father left her to go on a vacation, she did come from a jeweler family, but she never took after her father and mother. Being an only child, they spoiled her anyway. She decided instead of going to the library first she could go and eat at the Le Crystal it was the nicest restaurant in the Crystal Empire.

When she arrived she sat on the balcony that they had she drank some wine as she looked across the vast landscape of beauty that was the Crystal Empire, she loved the streets that made a pattern of a snowflake and the diamond-like buildings, and the castle she wouldn't mind living in it herself someday she would. She would over everything fligh up as high as you can and look to the north, east, south and, west she would rule over everything. She would have a rule more graceful and peaceful than Celestia herself. She would beg to even be a peon in her vast country, but the first thing she needed to take all of that land; she knew the exact way to do it. She was going to use dark magic.

"Miss, what will you be having today?" The waiter asked her sincerely, levitating a pen and paper.

"Chicken Cordon Bleu, and another glass of wine please," she said taking a glance at the menu to make sure that that was what she wanted.

"For your salad?" The waiter asked, trying to find out more, of what she wanted.

"The salad, um, Ice Burge with Blue Cheese," she said relieved to be done with ordering, she handed him the menu and she looked once again at the vast expanse of the Crystal Empire, it was becoming night time and she could see the city shining the crystal buildings were gleaming like diamonds and the stars overhead were beautiful Luna did her best work tonight. She loved the night. She ate her dinner quickly and headed to her hotel because she was going to wake up early that morning so she could get to the library the exact time it opened because it was going to be a long day of searching. If she didn't find what she was looking for she would probly have to sneak into the castle's library. Maybe they would let her in if she said she was doing research for rare crystal magic. She knew that no one knew how to use it yet, but the crystal ponies were born with it.She had a restful night with a wonderful dream about ruling the land in harmony, prosperity, love, and peace. Everyone would love and adore her. She would make a true utopia, unlike anything the world has ever seen, or will see. She would be the queen of queens. She would be loved everywhere she when. Everyone would work in harmony. Where wold she eats breakfast most place were closed, to early she would have to do research at the library and then go and eat. She decided that that was what she was going to do.

While she looked around the library she found books on King Sombra (rather new ones.) She looked at those and they had nothing of use them other than the tyranny of his rule. Her rule however, would be the exact opposite of his. The harmony and, love. Then she when into the magic section and wondered to the b section and there it was right in front of her face. Foolish ponies, leaving such an important object that some pony could just walk out of here with. The true was a need for a change ing rules. She was exactly what the were looking for. A mare that was serious of the job of being a Queen. She used her magic to put her new book in the pocket dimension that she made and she exited the library with a friendly smile to the library and a short goodbye, and she was off to have a quick brunch, and check out of herb hotel and she had a perfect  cave to hide in it was deep and had a natural spring water it was the boiling kind though.
