As i was walking down to my house with my headphones i open the door and octavias was on the phone and me like always i just said hi and went to my room and fell flat on my hay matress and octavia says its for me she said it was for an interview so i gladly accepted.
(I bet my life that my fans think I was as wild and crazy as I am today well that is not the case just because was a very tough foal to handle and my mom always use to tell me that when I was little and she still does but she never saw me becoming famous in such a young age but I did and the story that I am about to tell you is 100% true, I AM VINYL SCRATCH AND THIS IS MY STORY.)
My mom says that It took her a long to get me out of her stomach but I made it trough and that I was strong just like her, my mom also told me that after I was born my dad left and never came back but I was so little that I never took that in mind until a few years later but we will get there sooner or later any way my mom used to take a lot of pictures of my life every big moment she wanted that moment to be captured so she did I remember one picture that I always laugh at I was in a friends party and I took the DJ booth with these goofy glasses I guess that was the beginning of my act of being a DJ.
When I was five I used to nod my head a lot when I listened to music and I still do it to this day wen I heard a tune in the radio I nod my head and people looked at me I didn't give a buck still my mom would get embarrassed and I can't blame her I looked weird doing it but I still did it, another thing is that my mom said that colts and mares that have two mane colors are special or that they have a special talent I don't remember well (hey I was six at the time so don't blame).
Talking about when I was six It was my first day of school I was really nervous but I was ready I never knew what school was so that day my mom took me to school she walked me to the entrance and I thought was old enough for being walked to school so told my mom “mom Is it ok if I go on, on by myself ” she smiled at me like princess celestia would “sure honey, now I want you to try you're best ok vinyl you have a good day, remember mommy loves you vinyl” “ok mom I love you too” and just walked the rest of the trail to school and I was looking down at my whooves on the way there and the whole way there I was just so, nervous and excited at the same time, when I walked in I saw colts and mares just talking and when I was in the door they just stared at me and one colt said “look at her mane!” I was so embarrassed most of the kids laughed but I saw a couple of mares that didn't and I still remember there names right rarity, mayor mare, derpy, lyra, bon bon, those where the mares that actually didn't laugh and just stood there in silence and just looked at me and took me outside and tried to cheer me up rarity said “don't worry darling don't listen to them there just jerks, and they don't know what they are talking you're hair looks smashing” I smiled and said “ so does yours” she blushes and poofs it “thank you darling” and then the bell rung and we all went inside.
That day I went home happy and sad I was disappointed to know that how school was a place where you get judged for how you look and how you dress I wanted to tell my mom that I didn't want to go to school cause of those ponies that made fun of me but at the same time I didn't cause of those ponies who tried to cheer me up and had my back and to them I owe cause with out those ponies my life would be so different, and without them I wouldn't have been have had the guts to many things especially music so if any guys are listening thank you, with ouy you i could have not made it trough every school year me and rarity ,derpy, lyra, bon bon were friend trough out high school amyor mare left the picture when she was running for mayor after middle school it was not the same with out her.
Before christmas came i saw this awesome turning table or something on TV it has been so long that ive forgot what they are called, that some musicians played with some tracks and made awesome beats and better versions of the songs i asked my mom that was the only present i wanted for christmas so she agreed on buying it she almost broke her back just trying to get enough money for the darn thing or atleast thats what she told me, chirstmas came along and she gave me the turning table emediatly everything was over i ran into my room and starting mixing.
Shucks i practiced so much on that darn thing i stayed up sometimes, on certain occasions i stayed up on school days and wast to tired to even wake up, i even practiced so much i didn't have time to hang out with my friends, my grades where gowing down i didn't turn in homework or projects but my turning tables skills where off the chain, i mixed 24/7 one of those mixes was my first record that i put out there and it sold well and that's what inspired me to keep doing what i was doing and i did.
There was a time that i tought everything was going my way but i guess my gut was wrong actually it even worse than when i was little my mom didn't support me, me and my mom grew distant from each other just cause of something i was and still am she told me everyday that what i was doing was never gonna get me anywhere in life it was just gonna be a waste of time so i took that as a challenge i kept mixing and mixing to get better and even better always working on my craft casue in my heart i knew that celestia gave me a gift and i knew thats what i needed to do, what i was ment for in life to make other ponies to have a good time just like pinkie pie but with music and so my journey begins.
