Cutie Mark Crusader Demons
Chapter 1: Let's Become Demons!
“Let’s become demons!” Scootaloo yelled cheerfully.
Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle both gave her disgusted looks.
“Uhhhh….whut?” Apple Bloom asked.
“Demons! Let’s become demons!” Scootaloo repeated.
“How do you just become a demon? Don’t you have to be born a demon? And why would we want to be one? They’re super evil. That would mean I would have to be super evil, and live in a haunted house! And we all know that I cry at haunted houses!” Sweetie blabbed.
Scootaloo sighed. “Yeah, but we’ve tried tons of stuff, and still don’t have our cutie marks! So, if we go evil, we might just find our special talent.”
Apple Bloom kicked at the clubhouse’s floor. “I don’t wanna be evil. I just wanna help out on the farm and be normal.”
Scootaloo rolled her eyes. “Normal’s a relative term. What does it really mean?”
Sweetie raised her hoof. Scootaloo sighed again. “It was a rhetorical question.”
Scootaloo looked at Apple Bloom. “Besides, this is just a test. If we don’t get our cutie marks, we move on with our lives and pretend this never happened. If we do get our cutie marks…you’re on your own. I know I’m not helping someone who’s evil.”
Sweetie blinked. “Wait. If you won’t help someone who’s evil, why are you suggesting that we become evil?”
Scootaloo threw her hooves in the air. “Because we have to get our cutie marks! It’s not like I think we’ll get our marks in being evil, it’s just that this is the only thing we haven’t tried. I’m willing to take that risk.”
Sweetie frowned. “We haven’t tried everything. We haven’t tried disposing of medical waste.”
“Sweetie, that’s dangerous.”
“So is becoming evil!”
“It was just a suggestion!”
“GIRLS!!!” Apple Bloom intervened. “Ah don’t think it’s that bad of an idea, but it’s not the greatest. Ah mean, what if we do get our marks?! Ah don’t wanna be evil!”
Scootaloo groaned. “Girls, it’s just a test. I want my mark. And I’m gonna get it, one way or another. I don’t care if you’re not gonna help me. I’m doing it.”
Apple Bloom and Sweetie eyed each other.
“Ah’m in.”
“Me too. But only because I want to see how this goes.”
Scootaloo nodded. “Right, right… okay, first off, we’ll just start with demon-y things. I say we should try being vampires.”
“Vampires aren’t demons.” Sweetie stated.
“Well, they’re evil, so they’re good enough for me!”
“Sounds good t’ me.” Apple Bloom agreed.
The three fillies left the clubhouse in search of vampire attire.
